Popular Post RedRodriguez87
EU VITA #249: Does everything a spider can! I now have all ASM1 platinums in existence! PS3VITA (NA) VITA (EU) Not much to say the third time around; for casual players, it's sure to be a blast, as the flashy animations and easy to learn gameplay makes for an enjoyable romp. For plat hunters, be prepared for that style to not only trump substance, but actively become a hindrance. Seeing as to how my PS3 playthrough is fresh in my mind, it wasn't nearly as annoying, but it was still annoying nonetheless. I already listed all my problems here And needless to say, nothing has changed. The overly long and easily interrupted attack animations become a hindrance in the face of the enemies' quick and often unblockable attacks, Spidey goes down like a bitch, and.... that's pretty much it. You know what was a fun new experience? Watching Spidey get pumped full of machine gun lead and not being being able to do anything because the game insists I see his entire dangling-and-falling off the ceiling animation play out. And yes, he was dead before he hit the ground. Also, this. PS4 #248: Platinum mailman Here's another indie game that really goes above and beyond in trying to make it feel like a Gameboy game, and minus a obviously modern-tech polish here and there, they really captured it almost perfectly, and to me is the most memorable thing about it. Not that the game isn't good, it's just that there really isn't too much to I wanna discuss. The writing tries a bit too hard to be funny, but other than, it's well made. It's also a good trophy list that RatalaikaGames came up with. If it wasn't for the fact that the game is a puzzle with game with set solutions that people can write easy to follow guides for, it would be a pretty damn hard one. Actually, there is something else I loved about it, and it was the dungeon theme, Dungeons & Warlocks. Like I said in my profile status, it is amazing, and now one of my all-time favorite video game tracks. https://midipixel.bandcamp.com/track/dungeons-warlocks-looped Edited September 23, 2019 by RedRodriguez87

Popular Post DF007gamer
PLATINUM #155 The Limits of the PossibleCollect all trophies PLAT RARITY - 10.23% HOURS TO PLAT - 125 HRS ENJOYMENT - 10/10 PLAT DIFFICULTY - 3/10 WHEN THE TIME OF THE WHITE FROST COMES, DON'T EAT THE YELLOW SNOW I have to say I've fallen inlove with the witcher lore and universe. After platting all the Dark Souls and Bloodbourne I was looking for something to replace that as I was left with a hole in my gaming heart. So decided to give witcher a second chance (Played it before and didn't enjoy it for some stupid reason....maybe timing was bad) and starting off the DEATH MARCH difficullty and it was instant gratification. It scratched that itch I was looking for. It did take 125 hours to plat but I spent much more time after the plat in the open world finishing off Hearts of Stone and other small quests. I've put BLOOD AND WINE I've put on Ice as I would like to have something to look forward to play in a few months just to get back into the witcher universe. Know I'm not saying it's a perfect game because there are some minor issues which are part and parcel of big open world games. PLAT DIFFICULTY Reason I gave it a 3/10 it because its the way I set up the game before hand. Like with any game I play I first gather enough resources(for upgrades) and try and get the best weapons/gear at each level I go up. Gamers who find this a 7/10 difficultly were maybe trying to rush through it and not bother leveling up properly imo. It's a sin to rush through this game. One last thing........the dev that decided to put fucking candles by the characters/loot whereby you have to press X to interact with should be fired. Going into a room and looting everything and then pressing X 10 times over a bag with the candle in the way is worse then having lag on a online gamen Argggggghh. I've just got into the GWENT WITCHER GAME GAME and going for that plat but in no rush as I've still got THRONEBREAKER and BLOOD AND WINE to play. Exciting times ahead.
Popular Post Zach
#143 Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 2.5/10 Time: 15hrs Liberation was a decent Assassin's Creed game. It could've been a lot better, but Ubisoft wanted to make a quick Vita game and it shows. Aveline is such a likeable character so it really is a shame that the game is so short and some of her dialogue feels so rushed (as in the developers didn't put a lot of thought into it). This goes for the side characters as well. For example, I really liked Elise, but the same goes for her. Her character feels so "rushed". The story was decent, but same complaint goes for it. Short and felt too rushed. With all that said, I still have a soft spot for this game. Likeable characters, cool setting, and decent story. Well worth the 15hrs. Popular Post TazDevilz1986
Driveclub VR #391 Virtuoso Collect all of the other Trophies. One of the better VR games. I did this game because next year they will shut down the servers for Driveclub VR. I do have now all of them completed as a series so that feels great. The really one boring thing about this game is the GRIND yes the grind, you most be reaching level 60 for a trophy and this will take you longer than 20 hours of pointless grinding. But other than that the game is really good, and worth to play.

Popular Post PondNewt
Just got the platinum for I am Setsuna. A Tale from a Land of Snow I believe was the name of the platinum trophy itself. This was a pretty enjoyable JRPG and was fairly straight forward to platinum. There were a handful of fairly grindy trophies I had left to do towards the end and I found two boss fight that I encountered quite difficult but other than that nothing too hard. Best thing about the game was the music.
Popular Post Katt
MARVELOUS! Obtained all trophies. Pretty boring customization options. Everything is DLC, almost nothing for unlocking. The battle could have had a lot of movement mechanics that could make the game way better. Story mode is pretty lame in battle modes. Card system is nice but pretty limited. I wish I could gain EXP just for finishing missions and not just by card farming. The story is funny, everything you can expect from the series. A game from the pre-censorship era, just that.

Popular Post Copanele
No. 65 : Call of Juarez Bound in Blood Platinum Name : Ace of Spades Hardest Trophy : D-Day - Destroy all the rafts before they land worst trophy by far, i'd rather replay Very Hard mode again than to try and nail all the rafts with the stupid cannon. Difficulty : 4/10 Personal Impression : 8.5/10 My first FPS platinum is a western shooter developed by Polish company Techland. Call of Juarez Bound in Blood is the prequel of the original Call of Juarez ( XBox and PC only) and tells the story of 2 brothers turned outlaws , Ray and Thomas McCall and their wild west adventures while searching for the legendary Gold of Juarez. This game was a blast to play. The controls are sharp , the controller felt really good (still won't beat a mouse but oh well..) and the graphics hold up very well to this day. You can switch between Ray , a dual wielding pistol badass that is more muscle than brain (his Dynamite overusage shows that) , and Thomas , his nimbler but more accurate brother. While Thomas can't pack as much firepower as Ray, he makes it up in accuracy and his skills with a rifle. It;s a delight to play as both of them. Multiplayer is surprisingly fun and it's a shame nowadays it's a dead mode. Farming for the 1 million dollars with a boosting team ( thanks guys! ) didn't feel boring at all and by playing legit you can have a ton of fun also!! Provided you can find players that is. Definelty a must play if you enjoy both shooters and old western themes.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#396 - Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Had a really good time with it, so much so that I bought the DLC. Interesting quests and characters kept it fun, and it stilllooks and plays quite well despite being 7 years old by now. Still one of the best quest-tracking and fast travel systems that even more recent games still don't implement for whatever reason. Also the loading times are quite fast, which is great. There are however a few issues as well. The items don't scale well at all. I was still getting level 7 weapons at level 30+. AS a result enemies felt somewhat spongy on occasion. The temporary AI companions are also useless for the most part, dealing basically no damage to anything. Both the DLCs are well worth it as well, considering both have a good amount of content in them. The first one was more interesting story-wise though. Popular Post Metroid-Prime
Platinum #100 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (PS3) Trophy Hunter Rarity: 9.37% Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 7/10 Took a five-year hiatus from this game when the kleidos challenges irked me back then. Plus, I had other priorities in life going on at the time. Picked it back up a few weeks ago and finally conquered it. I enjoyed the story for the first one. This one was open world with more emphasis on action combat than the first, which probably diluted my enjoyment a bit. Also, most of the kleidos challenges on POD difficulty were downright frustrating, with one or two in particular spoiling it for the bunch. Overall I'm glad to get this one out of the way! Popular Post StilRh
Plat # 159, Reverie (vita) Time 5 hours Difficulty 3/10 Fun 5/10 - This was a nice little palate cleanser title after hitting bigger, more complex games plus plus. Zelda-esque gameplay with some very good puzzle design in dungeons but that aside a bit boring due to low difficulty and a story that didn't resonate with me. Popular Post madbuk
#333 - LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens With this, all LEGO games on Vita are now completed. Unfortunately, this ended up being one of my least favourite Vita ones. Hobbit Vita still takes the prize for being the worst LEGO game imo, but this one felt so... bland. There was nothing particularly wrong with it (apart from one bug that softlocked me), it just wasn't interesting. But hey maybe that's a me problem, LEGO Star Wars III and the console version of this were pretty bland too (I did like LEGO Star Wars 2 though). Maybe Star Wars just isn't my thing. The open world sections felt a bit pointless, they were small and all the side missions were generic fetch quests. One thing I will give this game credit for though is while the open world may be lacking, there are a decent number of levels available. More than most Vita LEGO games if I remember right. The story is just a rehash of the movie so I didn't care much, I prefer the LEGO games that have unique stories like Batman 2/3, Undercover etc. (even if they never end up being anything special either lol, at least they're fresh.) It's a shame they've stopped making Vita LEGO games. Their quality was hit or miss, but I've had a good time with most of them. Some of them I even preferred to their console counterparts.

Popular Post Elvick_
Plotinum #187 & #188 Senran Kagura: Estival Versus [PS4 & Vita] How I Spent My Summer Vacation Obtained all trophies. That was a fun time. I didn't intend to plat both, but you still have to redo the end missions for characters and the chapters so it was a good chance to not only grind up some characters for when I got to their individual character stories (or rare inclusion in the story proper; it didn't balance it that well between the massive cast), but it also let me avoid any farming for money. I was super rich by the time I was done. And since I want to get to 199 or 198 to do Ni no Kuni Remaster and finish the PS3 version doing both makes sense. Plus, I can weigh the differences in the versions. There's a lot of improvements in the base game from Shinobi Versus on Vita. The levels are better designed, and they don't feel as tedious to run though. They also don't have separate loading if you move areas. And they're a lot bigger. I like the addition of destroying towers in levels, it adds a nice bit of exploration and the ability to find ways around the barriers was fun to do. Shook things up nicely. I like the addition of wall running and the launch attacks from the wall, and the general vertical additions it brings to level design [makes avoiding some attacks really easy]. One downgrade, and I assume this is exclusive to easy [which I played exclusively on EV, while I did play normal and hard missions to grind in SV] the AI for your main enemies is dumb. They will exclusively use their tier 1 ninja art over and over, they never use tier 2 or 3. Which just makes later battles more boring, since you just have to wait for them to exhaust all their scrolls before you can actually do damage since your immune to damage while using the arts [unless you use a tier above theirs which breaks there's which is neat]. You no longer really need to know the full skillset of any character, just their first tier attack and how to avoid it. It gets really tedious come fighting Jasmine, hers takes forever and she has a huge immunity downtime when it ends too. And as soon as she gets back up she does it again, over and over until she's flat out unable to do so. It's just annoying and drags things out in a bad way. I assume the AI functions smarter on higher difficulties, I didn't have to try it out. An upgrade is the way they do the ingame cutscenes, and the fact there are actual animated cutscenes at the start and end. Which was a nice surprise. The ingame cutscenes have a more dynamic feel to them, the camera pans around, the characters are usually positioned in a way with the different backgrounds that gives a better sense of the world they're in being 3D instead of just having them all straight in front of the camera acting like they're standing apart or in a circle. I really liked that, it made it less boring to sit through the cutscenes. There's just a lot of them, and even if you enjoy a story the static nature of those kind of cutscenes gets really tired really quickly. And the combat feels a bit less fluid in this than SV. Especially for Yozakura [fists], she's painfully slow and when she's done attacking there's a huge window where she can't move at all. Not even dodge. It gets less noticeable the further into the game you get since you get longer more fluid combos as you level up, but for ones like her it still is a huge annoyance. Until then the best way to make your characters not stop is to dodge constantly and attack, which kind of limits your freedoms. Though is useful to not getting caught by annoying ranged enemies. Which if you use the 'x' button to flip back up when you take damage instead of dodge with circle you can and probably will just get hit and knocked back down and caught in a circle due to the timing being unfairly stupid for that to work properly. The Vita really shows it's age with this game. Not to say it can't do better graphics, obviously it can [mostly from western devs], but the load times are a lot longer, the number of enemies is SIGNIFICANTLY lower and the actual enemies are sometimes changed. One mech on PS4 was replaced by a larger 'bear' type enemy instead. And on a rooftop level in place of a ton of peons and 3 big bears... were just the 3 bears. It's got to be at least 10x less at times, if not more. Which makes the game easier on Vita in that sense, though makes grinding [if you want to do any] better on PS4 due to the numbers game [plus faster loading]. The only ingame loading is when it shifts to add another Shinobi to battle. Sometimes on Vita that can take so long that your character will do their idle animation lol. It's usually no less than one or two seconds on PS4. The backgrounds in cutscenes on Vita are blurry and static, while on PS4 they are usually out of focus but they have animated trees, grass, and the clouds move around. PS4 however crashed twice while playing the game. And it was two different PS4s, and then a third time the game itself crashed instead of crashing my entire system. Vita had no such problem. Though while on my final level I nearly fell through the ground and there was an audio glitch where an attack sound kept playing when I was done with it. Problems I didn't have at all until that moment, so good job game. You could've made yourself out to be better if you didn't show those problems to me right at the end. The story and characters are Senran Kagura. I had a lot of laughs, teared up [okay I flat out cried a few times...] and enjoyed the main story. I still have some sub-plots unrelated to trophies to do, and I will. I already did one of them and it was fun. Like SV though, I wish they would have come up with a few different mission designs. The character missions are still tedious to get through, not nearly as annoying as SV. I think the way the levels are designed just makes it a bit more fun and interesting. But there's one where a character is singing and there's no conflict at all in the entire 5 part episode... yet you fight because that's all the game can do to structure that story. :/ It's just kinda lame. Speaking of the character stories, they did fix my biggest issue with SV's... the dialog between characters while ingame no longer gets interrupted. In fact, it pauses the audio if clothes are torn off or whatever happens. And then resumes where you left off. The only gripe about this now is that the level up indicator can cover up the dialog box. While 99.9% of the time it disappeared fast enough that I could read the message, one time it did not and that's annoying. ._. But it's great to see devs improve on problems like that. Rin is best girl to play. I love her, her circle art is OP. Which reminds me, some characters arts are way better than others. Some are just hard to aim or do very minimal damage [or they somehow fail to do the damage when it visually should be a direct hit], or they're too random like the twin water pistol girl whose tier 1 art shoots a bunch of water [or the dolphin she summons is swimming around, I can't tell] they move around randomly and rarely ever hit anything for me.This is the move that's super easy to avoid by just hopping on a building or something that I mentioned at the start. For how many characters there are, most of them are really fun to play and flow well once you've got around level 10, and once you hit 12 [when you get the circle art which costs 5 scrolls, you're pretty much golden for most characters]. The trophy list was kind of a bummer, no combo trophy [not that it would've been hard to get a high one though; especially on PS4 - maybe that's why there isn't one...] nothing for leveling a character to max (hi Rin~) or getting the three different attack types leveled up to max... and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, it's largely just grinding. It's just less variety to work with. Though... that reminds me. I liked the mech, the flamethrower one is OP. Stunlocks the AI real easy. And I liked the little bomb things you could pick up and throw. And I liked that you could hit balls around the levels and do damage to enemies that way, it's neat. Oh and those finishers are hilarious, I just wish that they could've made them better. Like if you KO'd two characters at once near one that they'd both use it instead of seeing two animations of each individual character. And I wish that the characters could've stayed in the position they're in afterwards and locked up using that area again. Would've been neat, though I have to wonder if Vita didn't restrain them from doing more with that kind of thing. The body pillow one in particular made me laugh. and it's cool there were ones for certain clothes as well. I do wish we could've disabled the animations though, you can disable clothes ripping which helps speed things along a bit but overall [especially playing two versions] you gotta watch a lot of the same animations over and over and over and over and over and over. It can get a bit annoying at times. I can't remember if I mentioned the music, but I love the music in this series. I'm sure I had more thoughts, OH. There's a funny glitch on Vita I almost forgot about. There's those transitions where a circle closes in on the screen to transition it to full black, I started the game on PS Vita. So the first time I saw that it zoomed in on I think Yumi's clevage and kept the circle there, and I laughed as I thought it was intentional. I keep playing it happens again and then it zooms in on nothing and I'm confused. Then I go play the PS4 version and that same transition happens and it fully consumes the screen. The Vita for some reason can't finish the transition, it gets stuck at a little circle. I just found that amusing. Anyway, before I was so rudely interrupted by memory. I think that's about everything, but my scatter brain will probably think of something. Edited September 21, 2019 by Elvick_
