Popular Post Tianna_Mortis
Platinum #22: Secret of Mana Earn all trophies Earn all trophies Opinon: A very enjoyable game. I never played when it was out originally, so it was a very nice retro style game. Funnily enough, I especially liked the grinding there at the end to get the remaining equipment and orbs for the weapons. It gave me a bit of nostalgia for the old games where getting everything in the game was complicated.

Popular Post Masamune
Accel World vs Sword Art Online Millennium Conqueror Obtained all trophies. Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Playtime: 101:39:00 (1 week, 5 days, 6 hours) Screenshot (yes, like most of my other SAO plats, I managed to get Sinon in the final shot ): Spoiler Another SAO game complete! For the most part it was pretty fun, the excessive grinding/farming at the end does get old though. ? This is basically Lost Song 2, but I did enjoy it more than the first one, it had a bit more of an interesting story (albeit a bit farfetched for the SAO universe), & the addition of the Accel characters gives you another style of combat if you prefer that. But one thing I didn't like was the length of the main story, it was really short, out of my 100+ hours, I'd be surprised if even 20 of it was from the story, the rest was just some post-game quests clean up, & grinding... so much grinding. ? The trophies are all pretty easy, that is until you get down to the last two... one requires you level a rank 1 weapon all the way to 10, this takes a huge amount of money in the beginning just to get your Smith level to 10 & start enhancing your weapon to around rank 7 or so, after that you need to start farming a large amount of materials from monsters... & the drop rates in this game... really sucks. The second trophy is for earning 100 titles, you can think of these like the Implements from Fragment (just not as hardcore), you'll be doing things like killing 300 of each monster species, collecting rare R10 weapon drops, & leveling multiple characters to Lv1000. These two trophies are the only reason this takes so long to plat, if it wasn't for them, it could probably be done in half the time (if not less). ?

Popular Post AJ_Radio
I'm far behind on this so I'll just jot down what I've obtained in shorter length... Platinum #202: Back to the Future: The Game (July 25th, 2019) Difficulty: 1.5/10 Excitement Rating: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 7 - 8 Hours Hardest Trophy: Fuel Master (Flawlessly mixed up a batch of Emmett's Rocket Fuel) Definitely not the best TellTale Game, but alright enough. Back to the Future is not my favorite movie franchise from the 1980s, that honor goes to Indiana Jones. I think TellTale Games would of done a great service if they re-imagined the Indiana Jones games. Either that or get those old Lucasarts point and click Indiana Jones games remastered for the modern consoles. There's nothing remotely difficult. A few occasions you are required to pay attention as you can miss out on a trophy, with the aforementioned trophy being the most glaring example. It's typical humor from TellTale, similar to that of Tales from Monkey Island and the Sam & Max games. The older TellTale Games definitely had an affinity for humor, but compared to stuff like Tales from the Borderlands I don't think it was quite as good. It was good to see Christopher Lloyd reprising his role. Michael J Fox has a cameo voice acting bit at the very end of the game. Overall, not great, but not terrible. Platinum #203: Marvel's Spider-Man (August 4th, 2019) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 9/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 25 - 30 Hours Hardest Trophy: Challenge Finder (Complete every Taskmaster Challenge in the city once) A much better game than I expected. I typically don't care for Marvel but this was definitely a solid PS4 exclusive, one of my favorites these past couple years. There is nothing remotely difficult. Even Ultimate difficulty on New Game Plus wasn't that hard. Fantastic graphics, basically watching a movie while sitting back and enjoying the sights of New York City. Can't really say much that hasn't already been said about this game. If you have any doubts any this game, go out and buy it. Platinum #204: Batman: The Enemy Within (August 17th, 2019) Difficulty: 1/10 Excitement Rating: 7/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 8 Hours Hardest Trophy: A continuation of TellTale's Batman and progress of Bruce Wayne's story. I didn't feel any real difference between the first season and second season of Batman TellTale. Joker and Harley Quinn definitely give a solid performance, props to the voice actors who played them. An extremely easy game that can be done in 7 - 8 hours. Can't talk about this game much without going into spoilers, so I'll stop here. Platinum #205: DOOM [1993] (August 22nd, 2019) Difficulty: 6/10 Excitement Rating: 9/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 6 - 8 Hours Hardest Trophy: Not So Bad (Beat every level on Nightmare in co-operative mode) About as classic and aged like fine wine as video games get. I have many fond memories of this game over 20 years ago when I was just a little kid. Blowing up imps and using the chainsaw on pinkies never gets old. Much of the trophy list is standard fare. The speedrun was pretty easy because only the first three episodes count. Beating the game on Nightmare in co-operative mode was painful because of using two controllers. A couple levels, notably Episode 1 Level 6 were pretty tough and required a lot of attempts. Thankfully keycards are kept upon death. Like with the speedrun, only the first three episodes count. If players had to do Episode 4 the platinum difficulty would go up to a 9 out of 10. Fun. Exhilarating. An all time classic. Very cheap at $4.99. You can't go wrong with classic DOOM. Platinum #206: Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection (August 30th, 2019) Difficulty: 5/10 Excitement Rating: 8/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 6 - 7 Hours Hardest Trophy: Color overload! (Score at least 150,000 points in Scramble) A mixed bag of shmups and one 'Castlevania game. A couple good ones, a couple bad ones that have aged poorly. Very straightforward trophy list, but a couple shmups may give some people real difficulty due to how they were designed. For the most part nothing was overly hard thanks to infinite continues. Can't say I can completely recommend this collection at $19.99 as these old games from decades past aren't going to attract too many people anymore. But if you want to delve into what Konami made back in the 1980s then this is a good collection to pick up. Not a hard platinum trophy and rather short. Popular Post Bumperklever
#99 Hand of the Gods (PS4) The God HandDate Achieved: 22 September 2019Rarity: Ultra Rare (2-3%)Enjoyment: 5/10 I wanted to plat every Hi-Rez game and then this shutdown suddenly dropped like a bomb. But no worries though since the announcement is actually well timed. I like the game for it's gameplay. Easily said "I liked when I was playing against a random". 2 keywords there. The best way to tackle this game is trading / conceding wins with a booster and that was tediously grindy. 2nd keyword = playing, oh boy. The reason I hate this game is due to it's lag and I was not the only one with problems. Cursur disappearing and therefore disability to point stuff, minions spawning with 0 attack and therefore cannot attack. Not catching up to the minions movement, therefore cannot attack ' glitched minions'. As well as minions into minions spawning. Cards not getting drawed; 'warcry's not been activated. skipping 2 turns instead of one; etcetcetc. I cannot play a normal game online, there is always something happening. Varrying between a lost attack (which isn't the biggest of deals) to rendering the match completely unplayable.

Popular Post Sra-000
#75: Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag (PS3) This one also happens to be my 100th completed game. I picked it because I wanted a fun, quality title for the milestone. Definitely lived up to expectations. The multiplayer trophies can be tedious, but not as bad as some. The hardest was the DLC one “Sacred Land,” because it’s so hard to even get a legit game with the right conditions, let alone win it. In the main game, I had the most trouble with the Legendary Ships. Those things are a pain, especially the one that rams you over and over. Overall, I thought it was a lot of fun, with nice scenery, smooth controls, and a pretty good story, especially if you’ve played other games in the series. Those sea shanties will be stuck in my head for a few days!

Popular Post SnakeonaBoat
#15: The Walking Dead: Season One (PS3) I first played this game about six years ago, only getting one trophy before moving on to other games. Since then, Telltale/Life Is Strange style games have become one of my favorite genres, so it was only a matter of time before I returned to finish the one that really put it on the map. To get the one big criticism out of the way, the performance was absolutely lousy at times, with one scene in an elevator shaft having particularly awful framerate throughout. I remember having issues with other PS3 Telltale games, but Walking Dead had the worst of it. Also, this one's on me, but I didn't realize you could shoot with R1 til like episode four. Had so many unnecessary deaths trying to accurately hit moving bandits while cursing the devs for seemingly making the shoot button X. That said, the story is as strong as I expected coming in, with the Lee & Clementine relationship really holding it all together. Helped too that even the characters players seemed to hate (Lilly, Ben, Duck) managed to endear themselves to me in some way. The peak of the season is definitely the last third of the last episode, with a super-tense conversation that makes you question your choices followed up by that emotional ending. Like, I found out how it ended years ago, and it still got me. Overall, just a great game that really deserves its place as a cornerstone of the genre.

A Full-Bodied Wine Toast - 1.88% 36th Achiever on the site! Difficulty: 8/10 - Not gonna lie, this is by far one of the harder games I play and despite my absolute skill and time sunken into this masterpiece, it's not without its draws. It's hard, it's time consuming and I enjoyed every second of it. Broke me to tears completing it. Not for the faint hearted, especially since I have completed the story 15 times since release. Enjoyment: 10/10 - This is my favourite game, period. It has its flaws year but there's just something about this game that makes me come back for me, again and again. I even broke the left analog stick for my controller because I had been using it so much for this game but you know what? It was fun. Good times had by all. I've even said to friends I'd happily duo with them on babel to help them out because I love the game that much. FUN. I can't wait til christmas where I am going to be getting a japanese copy of this game so I can platinum it a fourth time... Really. The Evil Within 2 Coming from a guy who absolutely hated the first game, l have to say sequel was pretty damn good. I highly disliked the open world thing, would have liked if it wasn't open world but that's just me. Only downside l can think is to beating game almost 3 times in order to pop platinum. Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #354 - Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS4) KINGDOM HEARTS II Master Obtain all trophies. So nice, I platted it twice. KH2 ranks among my favorite games of all time, so when I finished platting the PS3 version, I decided to borrow the PS4 version from my library and get to work on it. And while I did get bored with it (at almost the same place as with the previous one), I gave it only a two week break this time, and got the plat. Out of the KH games I've played (which is all except for KH3 and BBS 0.2: a fragmentary stupid-ass name), KH2 is so much better than the rest than it's not even funny. The story, which seemed incredibly stupid back in 2006 or so when I first played it, is now utterly tame given the utter dumbassery of the later tales. I could write an entire article on the absurdity of the storyline, and another on the strangeness of the fanboys who praise it to the skies. But I won't, because it's about the games. And the trophies. God bless America!
