Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #189 | Platinum #190 Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight | Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight Dancing in Moonlight | Dancing in Starlight Obtained all trophies. Didn't intend to do both at the same time, but I have two PS4s and it just turned out that way since I could play one downstairs and the other upstairs. And I tried to keep around even for the two percentage wise. Was going to go to sleep after getting 5 ready for the plat, I didn't want to plat it before 3 since I started 3 first... but decided to just finish 3 and do 5 right after. Now I don't have to write up two things for two games that are virtually the same. I would never have been able to do this if you couldn't use the modification/cheat things. Normal is somewhat doable for just clearing stages, but hard and hell are just ridiculous beyond all words. My brain cannot process all the information on screen at once. And I can't imagine not having auto-scratch. It's bad enough the scratch indicators often cover up other stuff. When the green hold notes came one after the other staggered on opposite sides I'd always lose those. I can't notice it coming up since I"m focused on timing the release of the first not looking at what's coming next on the higher levels. It's a non-issue on easy, and it's not that bad on normal either since when they're staggered they usually come in pairs near each other to begin with. And that was with the one button cheat enabled, [still have to use two for the pink notes]. I can't imagine trying to move your fingers all around and register all this information at once. Props to those who have that talent. I sure don't, but easy was a fun experience for me. I like the setup and played it normally on easy for both games. What little story is there is neat, I like how they reference the games [granted I remember 0 from playing Persona 3 FES ages ago, and I've yet to play Persona 5] and reference Persona 4: Dancing All Night. While I'm not familiar with the characters at all, I liked most of them... that cringe gamer/tech girl from 5 is going to drive me nuts when I play Persona 5 if she talks that way in the main game. Yevon she's annoying. We get it, you're a nerd you don't have to frame everything with some nerdy reference. Shush. Even the cat wasn't that annoying. Only criticism of the story is how repetitive some of the dialog was, they would retell the same information many different ways over time. Especially early on. I like Persona 3's music better, but both have relatively repetitive songs for the type of genre this is. I mean lyrically there's a lot of reused samples so it feels like you're playing the same song all the time when you're technically on a different one. Given the DLC for the game that's a pretty lame thing to do. Lots of costumes and accessories though, I was happy with how they were designed as well. Lots of great costumes to work with. I like the side stuff with being able to explore the character's rooms and find a hidden card, I found that a nice change of pace and a fun experience. Some of them were hidden very well. Others I knew would turn up eventually if I just kept looking in that spot... and sure enough it would be there another time I visit that room. I didn't like Persona 5's menu design, I assume it mirrors proper game's menu style and me no like. It's just quite the adjustment compared to 3's nice blues, and the character story page the way it would display the numbers under each character was dreadful. 3's way looked a lot better since it was all one line of cards vs two lines of numbers - stylistically I have no idea what it was going for. But I'm glad I decided to try it out finally, they were both fun overall. And not wanting something too meaty these were good choices.
BadRep24
#8. Bear With Me True Detective You've collected all of the achievements and then some! Fastest platinum to be ever done. It has a weird trophy list. For instance, the prequel Lost Robots is the main and the real game is the DLC.
Popular Post Eramir
It's been a while, but I got 3 platinum trophies in 2 weeks time: Platinum #55: Steins;Gate (Vita) This was an amazing experience, even after watching the anime first. The story is so well written, it just blows you away. Played it on my Vita, it was just great. Will play this game again on PS3 later, when I forget some things, it is still to fresh. It has a sub 50% platinum trophy and that amazes me. PS3 has about 70%.. Platinum #56: PES 2020 What to say about eFootball PES 2020. 1. It has a terrible name. 2. The trophy list is (almost) the same as last year. 3. The trophy images are the same, with a different color. 4. The game itself plays amazing, even though I rushed the trophies a bit. 5. I'm excited to pick up FIFA 20 tomorrow and play with Port Vale. Platinum #57: Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled What a remake, really loved it. Time trials were a bit of a pain, but after a resting period (read: one month) it became easier. I'm keeping this on my PS4 for the occasional online match, or split-screen, or when a new GP comes out. I'm going to miss the constant urge to get better in this game, it was really well done.

Popular Post Masamune
The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia Savior of Britannia All trophies acquired. Congratulations! Difficulty: 4.5/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Playtime: N/A (4 days, 2 hours, 34 minutes) Screenshot (well that's a nice... view) Spoiler This game really kinda rushes the story a lot, & skips a lot of stuff. It mainly covers season one of the anime, & post-game covers season 2 with a bunch of bonus mission (which I didn't even mess with, I think they were once DLC?). The whole game just seemed kinda rushed imo, I don't even think you can unlock the season 2 characters once you beat them. Trophy-wise, the only challenge is S ranking everything... some of these are extremely frustrating to do (especially the ones where you have to use the sub characters, because as far as I could tell, you can't equip anything to them). There's also no way to track the field missions the pop up randomly, so it's best to keep a checklist of any missions you couldn't S rank the first time going through it. In the end, I can really only recommend this game to someone who really likes the anime, otherwise I don't think you'll get much enjoyment out of it. Hell, I liked the anime & I only rated the game as a 6.5, that's a pretty low score coming from me. ?
Popular Post SnakeonaBoat
#16: Snake Eaten Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater ?What a thrill... ? MGS3 was one of my favorite games of all time as a teenager, but I haven't played since my PS2 days. Thankfully, it still holds up as a top tier game for me, and yes, Snake Eater also still holds up as one of the best video game songs of all time. Anyway, some things about this replay: This was actually my first time playing the fight with The End. Previously, I found the fact that you could bypass the battle entirely so crazy that I just had to do it every playthrough. Easier than I expected - though playing it on Very EZ for the trophies is probably to blame for that - but definitely a unique and memorable fight. This was my first no-kill run in any MGS. Usually I just go around and kill everything in sight. Used to spend a lot of time just finding new ways to wreck guards. Kinda funny then to see how short my Sorrow river was this time around, while previous playthroughs had me taking the death pill just so I wouldn't spend an hour there. I was pretty indifferent to her before, but I ended up really liking Para-Medic after calling her for every new animal and plant catalogued. Love her voice, and she has such fun Codec calls with Snake. As a save recorder, a gigantic improvement over MGS2 Rose. The only real frustrating part of the plat was hitting the kerotans during the motorbike sequence. Basically, you're trying to hit super small targets during a swervy on-rails segment. It's not too bad, thanks to saveable checkpoints for each one. But it definitely killed the pacing and put a bit of a sour note on what should be one of the funnest sections of the game. I legit didn't even know there were edible fruits and vegetables in this game. The HD/Subsistence version lets you use a third person rotating camera similar to MGS 4 and 5, as opposed to the fixed camera of 1, 2, and the original 3. I not only prefer it, but it made me want an MGS1 remake in that style even more than I already did.

Popular Post GarciaFever
#196 Castle Crashers Damn i'm so glad that they remade it for the PS4 and give it a shiny platinum. This might sound insane coming from me, but I kind of miss having to beat the game on Insane Mode. Outside of not having to needlessly grind out my character to level 99, the only fun part is wanting to beat the game with everyone else in order to unlock all of the characters and weapons. Also, I liked that they incorporated any of the DLC stuff into the game, and not have us cash out more money for characters we may not even use. The new game mode, Back Off Barbarian, is a nice touch, and it may sound difficult at first due to the chaos of trying to survive for at least 2 minuted and 30 seconds, but this becomes a lot more doable if you have 3 other players, as they can be able to divert some of the enemies away from you. Best of all, you do not need to stay alive until the aforementioned time for the trophy. As long as there is one player left that reaches 2 minutes and 30 seconds, then everyone will get the trophy regardless if they are dead or not. The only downside is that sometimes, when playing the main game online with friends, you may get stuck on the loading screen for a while, especially when grinding out the 40 arena wins. The only solution to this is to close the application, and restart it. Lastly, I became the 39th person in the world to get the platinum. It would have been nice if I could get within the top 10, but I became lazy after getting all trophies except for the Back of Barbarian lol Edited September 27, 2019 by GarciaFever
Popular Post LilFlower85
ALO's Strongest Player Earn all trophies."You are an excellent fighter. The best I have ever seen." 17, my first SAO game and clearly not the game of the year. Lack of story, lack of bad guys, lack of variety of monsters, lack of excitment and the maps are soooo empty 5/10. On a good note, the plat is easy, though the last grind for level is boring.
Popular Post ArtisticGeek
#119 First-Rate Adventurer Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland I really do enjoy the Arland Atelier series since I got the first game years ago, but these aren’t games I can just do one right after another as I just reminded myself while playing this one. This series prioritizes time management and keeping track of objectives more so than any other game I’ve played. The task management can be a bit draining but the charm of the story, characters and artwork kept me invested, and once you get the better items later in the story the game gets far easier and allows for more free time. I HEAVILY recommend guides for this series just to keep track of the multiple ending requirements. So happy I can uninstall this game. Popular Post Obscure_Ale
#60 Grand Kingdom Hero of Resonail Congratulations on getting all the trophies! 1.24%Ultra Rare My end game stats. I had around 16,500 steps when I finished up everything apart from the last grind, it then took me 73 attempts to get the Short Sights skill to unlock which has a 1:33 chance which was probably the most boring trophy I've grinded in any game but I was so happy when I managed to get the final Grimoire for the Skill Completionist trophy. Overall I found Grand Kingdom to be a very enjoyable game and I kind of wish I played it earlier to take more time and enjoy the online more by making crazy geared squads in the process. I'd rate it a great 8.5/10 for how fun the game is but as low as a 1/10 for how fun the actual Platinum is due to the one trophy and it's mind numbing grind with RNG thrown into the mix.
Popular Post El Duderino
Number 6 out of 33 Telltale games in my collection and so far my favorite. Great humour, great implementation of licensed music and very likeable characters make for a worthwhile game. Unfortunately, the third episode is very buggy and I had to reload my save several times. For me, this game is another example for Metacritic scores being vastly overrated. What else is there to say? Ah, yes! I am Groot! Popular Post Dokusha
#103: A.I.: The Somnium Files From the mad mind of Kotaro Uchikoshi, known for the Infinity and Zero Escape series - as well as the unapologetically zany Punchline - comes this beaut of an adventure. My first impressions of the game made me think of it as similar to Suda51's indelible and gloriously messy The Silver Case, only with actually coherent and much better translated writing. That comparison is more apt than referencing a straight visual novel, since The Somnium Files does feature gameplay in between story chunks. You see, protagonist Kaname Date and his eyeball-housed AI companion Aiba (an AI-Ball, if you will) are part of a special branch at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department: ABIS, who investigate particularly involved crimes through a machine that allows them to explore suspects' dreams and extract hidden information from them. The game begins with Date and Aiba being assigned a homicide case which swiftly devolves into serial murder. Can they find the Cyclops Killer? To say more about the story would be a disservice. I honestly think it's worth your time if you have any interest in good crime narratives; it keeps you engaged throughout and doesn't leave any major questions unanswered. There is also a lot of humour woven throughout, with lots of innuendo and wordplay as Date and Aiba meet a colourful cast of characters who are easy to get attached to. Honestly, the tonal tightrope this game manages to walk is highly impressive, reminding me of theYakuza series in how it can seamlessly flow from funny to serious crime to heart-warming to tragic without ever coming across as jarring or inappropriate. Yes, there are lots of gags about, ah, certain anatomical elements, but the story will definitely get serious whenever it needs to. Also, since this is an Uchikoshi joint, expect lots of galaxybrain science concepts to be bandied about - although it was easier to digest this time than it was in, say, Virtue's Last Reward. I wanted to give a special mention to Spike Chunsoft America's localisation work, which is exceedingly robust and flat-out impressive for such a new localisation office. The game comes with dual audio, and is fully dubbed in English - even the obligatory idol song has been fully translated and sung in English, which I don't believe I've ever seen in a game before. Between this and the excellent translation for 428: Shibuya Scramble, Spike Chunsoft are ones to watch if you're a Japanese gaming enthusiast like I am! Trophy-wise, this is very simple. There's a handy flowchart which clearly indicates which routes to pursue next, puzzles and timed segments can be replayed as much as you need or want, and the game helpfully highlights all the solutions in dreams which you have already cleared before, making replays easier and quicker. Expect to get a good 20-30 hours out of the story. All in all, I'm going to miss this cast - Iris in particular grew dear to me - and I hope Mr. Uchikoshi will get the chance to make a sequel to this someday. The Somnium Files may very well end up being one of my favourite games from 2019.

Popular Post Copanele
No. 66 : Deadpool (PS3) Platinum Name : Ok, you can sell the game now Hardest Trophy : Know DP? Know Madness - complete the game on Ultra Violence difficulty Difficulty : 5/10 Personal impression : 5/10 as a videogame, 9/10 as a comedy. This...was an interesting game. On one hand, you have Deadpool the merc with a mouth, king of 4th wall breaking, so you can be damn sure there will be some crazy comedy in the game. On the other hand the action is so bland and uninteresting, the second playthrough felt like a pain. Still divided by the game. Plot is... Deadpool smash!. He technically needs to kill Sinister but he gets so sidetracked I forgot what I was even playing. There is alot of accuracy towards comic books material, Deadpool himself is a clown (although he hates clowns) and his interactions with Cable are as funny as they get. Best buds forever. Also the Death level is friggin amazing. However all kinda ends when you actually have to play. The combat is bland, weapons are more like butter knives. Guns on the other hand are overpowered but their ammunition is very low unless you upgrade them via upgrade screen. Everything is even more painful on Ultra Violence mode, a single grunt with a machine gun can mow you down in a second. Playthrough 2 was NOT fun. All in all...a decent game if you wish to have a laugh but don't expect to be blown away by it. Also the game got delisted for reasons so there's no more digital purchase available.
