Popular Post MooseSketts
Platinum #94 Color Slayer Oh how I wish I never bought this game. I ignored the negative reviews thinking it would be a nice arcade game. Instead, it was glitchy and constantly freezing on the PS Vita all with a soundtrack and assets that didn't fit the game at all.
Popular Post BadRep24
God of War III Remastered Difficulty - 3.1/10 Enjoyment - 9/10 #11. King of the Hill Unlock all trophies Oh boy, how much years have passed since I haven't touched this game. Two years! The four pesky bronze trophies were finally tackled, so as the easily missed "aMAZEd". The adventure was long, as I encountered an unexpected save corruption, causing my save to lose, forcing myself to start from square one again. It was worth the shot to touch it once again and journeyed myself to the platinum. Edited October 14, 2019 by BadRep24

Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #71 Psycho-Pass Mandatory Happiness I had this game for some time, but since it had mixed reviews, and I really like Psycho-Pass, it took some time for me to play this game. And, well, the reviews werent completely wrong. First of all, I think the first season is a masterpiece, and this game certainly doesnt come close to that quality, but this doesnt mean the story, and the game, is bad. If I had to grade it, it is slighly above average. The story itself isnt bad, but it's short, and lacks a climax. And the fact that everything is so obvious from the start doesnt help in making the story more interesting. Also I thought that the actions moments, that arent many, werent translated too well for the visual novel format. About the trophies, there are two parts. The visual novel portion, well, you follow a guide and read, it's as simple as that. The game has many endings, but they're all too similar, so I was really bored when playing to get the last story trophies. Although I didnt skip texts that I havent read before, I felt compelled to do many times. The second part is a mini-game that at first is a bit confusing and random, but after I learned how it worked I liked it a bit. You have to play through this so you can buy pictures and audio content, and you have to grind for a lot of points. I advise those who want to platinum to not leave everything for the end, to grind it alongside the playthroughs, in order to reduce the boredom in case you dont like it. The overall experience was good. If you like Psycho-Pass, Sci-FI or police stories, I would recommend this game, but dont have high expectations, or else you will feel disappointed.
Popular Post Zach
#146 Borderlands 3 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time: 45hrs I'd say Borderlands 3 was worth the wait. The graphics, weapons, loot, side missions, enemies, and gameplay were greatly improved in this title. This game was truly a blast to play. Being able to go to different planets for the first time was so cool. What lowered the enjoyment for me was the story. I won't go into any detail for spoiler reasons, but the story was really meh. Don't get me wrong, the story had its good moments. However, the villains in Borderlands 3 could not hold a candle to Handsome Jack. Don't let me scare you though. If you are Borderlands fan, you will still like this game like I did.

Popular Post freddie1989
#149 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered What a journey that is. A great chance to go back and enjoy something thatI enjoyed when I was much younger (insert crying) and on top of that just a great game all round. Managed to do Mile High Club after a few failed attempts the night before and then on to 'best of the best' which is an absolute pain in the arse! Required time is 15.1 and I started off around the 23 mark trying to work out how the heck I would do it but with 3 hours of perseverence I bagged a 14.9 second run! After that is was just straight forward run and gun tidy up on recruit. Far Cry 5 is next up for #150!!

Popular Post Gommes_
Persona 4 Golden # 104 - Golden Completed I finally played this game, since I had it in my collection for quite some time! In general I really like Persona 4, even though it is not without its flaws. I liked the overall presentation, the music, how well it runs, the interface, the loading times and much, much more. And of course the biggest plus is the story and the chemistry between the characters. There were scenes were I had to laugh out loud, cause it was just so funny! The summer camp and the trip to the beach come to mind . The characters itself were greatly written and I really liked them the further I played. However, some developments were just weird and awkward. Like every girl falls for the main character in the strangest ways. It seems like the game was built around a dumbed down, cliche, male fantasy of Japanese school girls. The overall tone in that regard was sometimes just so embarrassing and cringy. And who designed the character of Nanako? She was just way too cute but asked too many sophisticated "right" questions at the same time. I also couldn't stand her tone color fairly quick. Besides all that I liked the idea of having normal school days and solving crimes in one game. Especially the simulation aspect was something completely new for me to find in a JRPG. While the overall story wasn't that grown up like Steins Gate for instance it was really interesting and fun to read. The fighting was also great and the amount of dungeons and the time between exploring them and having normal school days was just perfect. Whenever I had enough of the school and work life a dungeon appeared and vice versa. I also felt with the characters in so many situations and the ending was just bittersweet. Besides the mentioned weird aspects it was a great game and I am looking forward to play Persona 5 which is already waiting in a shelf at home. A special thanks to @AlchemistWer who helped me with the start of the game and answered all my question, since I was just so overwhelmed by all the possibilities. The amount of planning in order to get the platinum is something else! I think I never had a game before where I had to pay so much attention to so many things. Popular Post madbuk
#337 - NORN9 Var Commons Unfortunately, not as interesting as I was hoping. It had a promising setting, a fairly diverse cast, and at least one of the main three girls you play as was a good character, but the game retreads the same plot threads so many times over the 9 playthroughs you have to do. The only thing that somewhat changes are the characters involved. I was interested the first two or three times when stuff was new, but the 6 playthroughs afterwards definitely dragged on. The true ending didn't feel very substantial or worthwhile either, it barely added more to the story that wasn't already covered in the previous playthroughs. The artwork was good, although the music is pretty forgettable. I do like that each of the three main protagonists have their own personality though, I was beginning to think the protags in otomes would all be clueless idiots that can't do anything for themselves, but Mikoto and Nanimi both go against that I'd say. Koharu was a bit more traditional. I'd say this was better than Amnesia, but not as good as Code: Realize. Rather disappointed overall but I picked it up fairly cheap, so no big loss.

Popular Post Dauersack
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas #31 The Key to San Andreas The first platinum I earned in months, this one was planned for quite a while. In fact, the wish to replay this one was what got me to play the whole old GTA trilogy, starting with GTA 3, a game that I never played before, going over the nostalgic Vice City and finally replaying CJs 'hood simulator. The game has not aged too badly in most areas, giving you plenty to do and most of it being fun, having interesting characters and giving you a real feeling of progression both in terms of your character stats&skills improving and your power and influence over San Andreas growing. Sure some missions are not designed in an ideal way, or use mechanics that feel outdated(controlling some things can be a bitch), but thats to be expected for a game this age. Aside from the gameplay, the heavy hitting satire was a blast to listen to especially on the radio shows that also provided some really great soundtracks. The game also had plenty of tongue in cheek references to old movies or historic events that flew right over my head when I played the game years back on the PS2, not to mention references to other GTA games, even with some cameos from characters. Anyone who can overlook the games admittedly ugly graphics and sometimes clunky controls should consider playing it if he hasn't already, it was a milestone for gaming back then and is still a great game nowadays, a good addition to any profile with a rather easy platinum to boot since it does not demand you to go anywhere near 100%, which would have taken well over 100 hours to do since some of the additional jobs and challenges are quite demanding. Stay away from GTA 3 though, worst game currently on my list by far even factoring in its age, terrible. This will most likely be the last GTA I ever play, GTA 1 and 2 are so ancient they will probably never appear on console again, GTA 4 is only available on PS3, a console I do not have, also has terrible long and crappy online trophies I would not be to keen on tackling even if I had a way to play the game, and playing GTA 5 after skipping 4 would not sit right with me, I also know enough people who told me that 5 is disappointing to actually play.
Popular Post Geiita
True Grace Acquired all trophies. Amazing! 8.83% Time: Too Long Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Opinion: Personal Favourite Graces is my favorite tales game about 33% of the time, IMO it has the best combat in the franchise and I doubt it will beat any time soon, the story is a bit bland and the characters are above average as RPG characters go, but the story is pretty enjoyable for what its got going for it. the A Gentlemanly Triumph trophy is the bane of my existence and I'm glad I got the motivation to go back and actually do it after my game freezing the first time I tried. Big ups to Maxdestructo for their Inn Request & Nature guide & Graces Stuff on YT for their Strollin' Through dungeon guides. Popular Post Cave Johnson
God Eater 3 It All Comes Together Collect all trophies. God Eater 3 fixes many of the problems I had with the second game, but screws up different things in the process. The first problem is noticeable right before the game even starts; the character creation. In eight years, it has barely improved. The graphics are on a completely different level than before, and yet, the character creation is just as basic as it ever was. Secondly, the difficulty is so dumbed down from the previous games that it's almost insulting. This could have been fixed by having a difficulty selection, but no such thing exists. It seems there was an attempt to balance the overall difficulty by making certain things less useful. Skills are now laughably bad; the percentages at which they affect stats makes them almost negligible. Bullet customization is just as confusing and uninteresting to me as always, but there is one major change that I noticed: rather than using OP, custom bullets have a limited number of uses per mission. Half as many health items can be carried, stun grenades are less useful... I could go on, but none of it really matters. Why? Because all the Aragami are made of glass in this game. At least, that's what it seems like. Complaining aside, I think it's important to note the positive aspects of the game (formatted as a list because I don't care to elaborate right now): - Multiple burst arts equippable at once - Dive mechanic makes getting around a lot faster - Environments and Aragami look great with new graphics - Phym is cute - Dual audio (finally) so I didn't have to import again - Better characters than God Eater 2 - No bullshit filler "story" missions like God Eater 2 - Music is not quite as terrible as previous games - Guns are useless 'cause fuck 'em - I didn't mean for this to turn sarcastic halfway through, but did you know that "equippable" isn't actually a word? Weird.
Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum 97 - Titanfall 2 This definitely scratched that FPS itch that I was craving that Killzone Shadow Fall couldn’t deliver. The story was a bit bland, however, the character interaction between Cooper and BT was entertaining and had nice banter. The gameplay was engaging and much more satisfying than other titles in the genre, running along walls and killing enemies made you feel like a complete badass. Since this game is a bit older, you’ll probably find it on sale a lot, pick it up, it’s worth your time! Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #195 Effie Effie, a fantasy adventure Get all the trophies of Effie. I liked it, but I would have liked it a lot more if it didn't have so many framerate problems. And more problematic was the fact that I would often lose momentum mid-jump and die. Losing a lot of progress. The final boss was stressful worrying about that given how long the battle is. This even happened while walking. It's not my controller as other games are fine. :/ In a game with a lot of platforming, it's annoying. And some jumps require a good length double jump and dash to hit. (including the final boss) so that's really annoyin. Subtitles were often wrong which always amuses me. But beyond that it was pretty fun, well apart from needing a guide for missable relics... had to replay the start of the game, redo the open world section which takes forever and had to do the first real level again. I hate that, it made playing less fun because I was baby sitting a guide. I wish they just let you go back to the areas after beating the game. What's the point of collectables if they're missable? I don't feel like replaying the whole game just to do 100%. I mean, imagine if Spyro worked that way... and instead of more open areas that you can backtrack you get doors closing behind you so if you missed something in the previous section too bad sucker. That'd be lame. Spyro and games like it structure collectables properly. It was a lot more fun when I was able to just play through without worrying about it. That's partly self inflicted for caring about trophies so much, but still. Combat is a bit wonky, given the amount of enemies sometimes. But after you have the AoE shield move you pretty much kill everything instantly. Other than a few things. I wish the animation was a bit better, it's stiff. And in a platformer animation is a really important thing to making your game feel good. You can trick the eye with animations, both positively and negatively. End credits song was nice. Graphics for environments is nice, but I'd rather it be uglier and not have framerate problems. Character model is fine for gameplay, but the cutscenes show how limited it is. But it's an indie game so not that big of a deal. The only other qualm I have is the open world part, it's just so huge that exploring naturally is not fun. I missed 4 relics playing normally and I couldn't find where they would be for the life of me without the guide since there's just so much empty space with nothing going on and it's hard to navigate it all without just missing huge portions. Short of driving straight lines up and down until you see it all or something. Could've been better, but I still had fun.
