Popular Post cr1s
#425 - Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (HK) Yet another Danganronpa platinum to add to my collection! This stack was once again played entirely in Japanese... well, not exactly. The trophy list is pretty much the same as Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc's, but with the addition of Magical Girl Miracle Monomi, which you can only play in Chinese for some reason. But oh well, it still wasn't bad. It's just another grind, after all. On to ZZS! =D

Popular Post Janire1911
Darksiders III BFA (#106) I had planned to buy this at some time so I was pleasantly surprised to see it free on PS+ and I only had to buy the season pass. Overall I really liked this game, the combat was really satisfying and Fury was a cool character. The DLC however were bit of a disappointment, The Crucible was decently entertaining but Keepers of the Void was really boring for me as I'm not really a fan of environmental puzzles. I'd rate the main game at 8/10, The Crucible 6/10 and Keepers of the Void 4/10. Edited October 19, 2019 by Janire1911
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #198 Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince What a Nightmare! Collect All Trophies I liked it, Trine 1 remains my favorite. This is like if Trine 3 had been 2.5D, it takes a lot from that game. And while many didn't like it, it had a lot of good things about it. And I found it worthwhile personally despite the many flaws. Some of the things carried over are arguably a downgrade, but they offer up benefits as well so it's hard to really say. It's just a preference thing I suppose. It is however hard to get used to the changes when you've played so much of the first and second. I'll just do a list of the stuff that returned from 3. * Zoya's rope can attach to things to create tightropes to walk across, and can be used to pull along things. Along with this is the limitation where you can't attach the hook to everything made of wood, only things with the little handle thing on it. But all of the Amadeus conjured items can be hooked onto. Despite the lack of freedom, I'd say the pros outweigh the cons. * Amadeus can slam his boxes or other conjured items down and break things that way and kill enemies. He can also move while controlling his items, but you can no longer draw at all. So you only get one size of a box, one size of a plank, and you have to cycle through them to do so. Gets a bit cumbersome to do things quickly. But overall I think it's a lot better as it gives him a way to battle. Since you can't draw you also have a selection method which is a bit wonky to control. Otherwise it'll pick [generally] the closest thing and grab it when you try without selecting manually. * Pontius can still slam himself down, his kite shield is holding down the jump button rather than using the right stick upwards like in Trine 2 [huge improvement]. * Chapters select allows you to select each checkpoint, so it's a lot faster and less tedious to get all the collectables. It also tracks them per checkpoint so you don't have to aimlessly roam around. So glad that returned. * Greater emphasis on story, but this one has a proper resolution. I really like the story, 3 still holds my favorite lore for the series which is a bummer as it's unfinished... but oh well. :'( There are more cutscenes, more dialog throughout levels as well. And a bit of extra stuff via the letters you find that often addresses the story itself (sometimes hinting at character relationships and history). The game gives a bit more on each character as well in it's story and helps round them out more. * Reviving works how it did in 3, where if a character dies in battle their body floats and you can stand on it to revive them quicker. Platforming deaths don't do this anymore though and they just automatically regen after a few seconds. More a factor for MP though. I feel like there's more, but that's all I can think of at the moment. There's also a ton of new stuff, or returns of things that simply weren't in 3. There's also some things that simply didn't come back at all like the hammer for Pontius. Which would've made certain things more trivial I suppose, but I kind of miss it. New things include some massive mobility buffs to Pontius and Amadeus, as I said earlier Amadeus can move while holding things which is one, but he can also teleport which can have a slight upward angle. So you can really get to places. Pontius' dash returns, but it's more about mobility than it was before. It still does hit enemies in battle, but it doesn't do a lot of damage and more flings them around. Zoya can roll, I think she could do this in 3 but I'm not certain. Speaking of enemies, they're caged in which is kind of helpful as it ensures you don't miss out. The skill tree turns but it's a bit of an odd implementation. You have enemy xp and the collectable xp, the enemy one acts as a progression barrier. So they can lock in what you are able to upgrade based on that. You can use the collectable xp to buy upgrades to the progression locked abilities. I don't really like this change, the freedom of choice found in 1 and 2 was a lot better. At least it's there. Another thing removed is the ability to pull levels, open chests... instead you stand by it and a circle goes over until it's filled and then it's flipped or opened. It's odd, and makes it easier to flat out run passed them. I missed 2 this way, because there's no R2 or whatever prompt that pops up. And there are tons of hidden areas with none of those things in them (there's 3 variants to it). The checkpoint are outright invisible this go around which I legitimately dislike. They had such a beautiful look to them. And it let you know beyond seeing the "saving" when you got to a new checkpoint. I think it still makes the sound, but it's less noticeable. The music was amazing as always, so was the voice acting. There's some cute moments with Zoya that I liked and her voice actor nailed it. And of course the art design and environmental graphics look incredible. I will say the cutscenes are a bit meh looking as per usual, but it's not a huge deal and they are way more polished this time around than the rest of the games. And some of the gameplay animations are a bit stiff compared to before. I think this is in large part due to the fact you have handholds and can grab those. So you no longer really do a double jump/wall jump up ledges. Instead you just pull yourself up. But I did see some really nice flip animations from Zoya as usual so I'm good. Almost forgot, they returned the elemental arrows to Zoya. Though exploding arrows are replaced with fire and while they burn enemies they're not as impactful. They can't break multiple small wood boxes at once, and they can't even break Amadeus' conjured stuff. Which got on my nerves something fierce. Bring on Trine 5... or Trine 3: Part 2: Now in 2.5D! Cute concept for enthusiastic artist, especially your kids. As negative, a couple of lows in this little gem. For completionists, In terms of trophies you need a VR set to get 100% of trophies. And to get the best in graphics, no point having a 4k tv, you need ps4 pro, no hdr support for vanilla, seriously Sony? Popular Post JaM
#298 Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk Grand Finale Obtained all trophies in Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk [/center] A Dungeon Crawler that is a diamond in a rough. I didn't even knee that this game existed. I only stumbled upon it when I saw it's avatars were free for PS+ users months ago, I was interested back then but I got used on playing Dungeon Crawler in my Vita and it was pretty expensive at full price so I thought of skipping it, then months later, I founs a physical copy of the game and decided to bought it on a whim. The story is good IMO. Feels like a story with a mix of Disgaea and Nepnep games esp. on humor. The twist is not really surprising but I enjoyed it from beginning to end... The yuri part is just an icing on the cake for me. Gameplay... Well, the one flaw for Dungeon Crawlers is it become repititive fast, and this one is nkt an exemption, and then post game happened. Difficulty spiked so high that it madr me spent hours grinding just to get the plat. Speaking of which, trophy-wise, it is deceiving, most of it are straight forward and you'll get most in playing the story, and then there's that one last gold trophy that will test your masochism... Err I mean, dedication. Overall, worth buying at full price IMO, and probably one of the best Dungeon Crawler I've played and maybe my fave game this year... Well, it depends I guess on how I will enjoy playing my 299th and 300th plat. Edited October 19, 2019 by JaM
Popular Post MonadStanley
#22 Code Vein I must say, I liked that game, but for me it was too easy. I have played with companion, but well, how can you send your waify away. Some of the levels have looked like poor copy from Dark Souls (Cathedral of the Sacred Blood) and I have not been able to find a weapon that I would have really liked, but of course there is plenty of them. 8/10
Popular Post Sergen
Dragon Ball FighterZ: Platinum #137 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 100+ hours It's good to be back!!! This is my first ultra rare fighting game platinum since August 2018 and I am glad to have it done. This is a game I was meaning to do for a long time, but I got demotivated by trophies and then the magnificent game of Elder Scrolls Online consumed my time. But here it is, a very easy but lengthy and ultra rare fighting game platinum. I have to give a big shout out to both Aexzia and CaptainSellers, Aexzia started this game with me and we did the BP grind together up until we both reached 400,000 BP. After we did that, CaptainSellers helped Aexzia achieve the 530,000 BP by allowing Aexzia to win matches until they reached that score, then Aexzia gave me all the wins I needed until I could get the trophy myself. It sure helped to get a final push in BP at the end, because the scoring rate was crap from 330,000 to 400,000 so I can imagine it would have been a terrible grind to go from 400,000 to 530,000 by taking turns. The trophy list is incredibly straightforward and the thing rescuing the platinum rarity is acquiring 20,000,000 Zeni. Zeni is the currency used in the in-game store to buy your stuff and takes an exceptionally long time to accumulate, it is also the only trophy that has any difficulty tied to it. I had to beat the main story of this game twice, once on normal and once on hard, the reason for having to beat it on hard mode is because you are able to unlock Victory Zeni Level 6 as a skill three times there in the final arc, this skill increases the zeni you get from story levels by a hell of a lot. I left the PS4 that was playing this game on for an entire week because whenever I wasn't playing the game, I was using a turbo controller method to gain Zeni AFK, this did put the console at risk and probably wasn't worth the time it saved in the end, but it is what it is. I will say that thanks to Aexzia's advice about hard mode, I breezed through it, I pre-leveled the characters from the hard mode arc to level 50 before playing hard mode, which made me start off more powerful, without that advice I'd have gone into hard mode and struggled initially. This game features a combo challenge mode similar to other fighting games, however they're not really worth giving much attention since they were fairly simple to complete, you only need to do 200 of them out of what I believe is a potential 240 with the 10th missions basically being the equivalent of a 7th mission of a UMVC3 character. I'm glad this is over and I look forward to growing my fighting game e-peen with some more ultra rares in the future Edited October 20, 2019 by Sergen

Popular Post black__bunny
#40 LittleBigPlanet2 6 years, 6 months Finally hit 40 platinums. Had a lot of fun playing through this, just as I did with the original. None of the trophies are overly hard, worst being no deaths in any levels but even then it wasn't too bad as the difficult levels are minimal. The multiplayer trophies are mostly straight forward however 'dive in 25' is pretty painful as the dive in function is broken, resulting in most of the time landing in a randoms pod who isn't interested in playing levels. The only thing stopping me from 100% (and a huge complaint of mine) is having access to a vita. Why they created trophies to be dependant on owning another device is just ridiculous and should have never been allowed. Same goes with the move controller dlc. So likely will never finish this off unless I can find a friend willing to let me borrow theirs. At least it doesn't stop anyone from obtaining the platinum.

I've tried this game when it released but I just couldn't get the time trial's done. However a few month's later I went and tried again and something just clicked and everything just fell in place how to use the drifting and boosting the correct way. Popular Post snakebit10
#286 I am a huge baseball fan. This is the 4th The Show game I have platinumed. It still has the same great gameplay and is a lot of fun. The trophy list in this was rather easy to complete as none of the trophies posed any kind of problem. I liked there was no grindy Mp trophies in this one. I am going to play The Show 19 but I can't guarantee the platinum in that one. I play it for the fun factor and the love of baseball.

Popular Post WayfarerFox
#123 - The Last of Us Remastered Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Recently played through on the PS3 so it was still fresh in my mind on how to do things quickly. It feels so much better playing it on the PS4. Not only that, the trophies are so much easier in terms of DLC. The PS3 ones were a nightmare to do so it was nice to just chill with this one. Wasn't planning on doing it again any time soon but I thought October is Halloween month so should get into the spirit of things and play a horror and that's what I did. I done the NG+ glitch to save myself a Grounded playthrough. Still a little bit of a challenge even with upgraded weapons and supplemented Joel. I found my ways of beating each area though and prevailed in the end. This game is really good and I'm glad I have both stacks now. Looking forward to the sequel! Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#56: Sly Cooper: Thieves in time (PS3) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Rarity: 14,24% In a span of 3 months I've replayed Sly 1,2 and 3 on the Playstation 2 and for the first time I played this one on the Playstation 3. I liked the game more then I thought initially. The hub worlds are a joy to play trough and the missions are a lot of fun. The cast of characters are great as always, although the villains aren't as memorable as the first and second game (but still good). And the jokes they tell are enjoyable. The music is also great although I liked the music from the second game more. The hub worlds are full of secrets to uncover and collectibles to gather, which I always liked in the first and second game. The story is also great, but not the best of the serie. There are also a few negative points I have with the game. Caremlita's voice in dutch is a bit annoying compared to the PS2 games, but nothing to bad. Also jumping to a hook sometimes doesn't work and that ends up in dying or just starting to climb up again. Some of the boss fights are way harder then they should be. There is one boss that is in the center of a stone circle and you need to push all movable stones to him. But his attacks are hard to dodge and if you take to long you will need to start the whole process again, which takes a long time, to take another shot at the stone circle part. The last boss is a complete joke and is just not that fun to do. Sly Cooper is one of my favorite video game franchises and I really want to see him again on the PS4 in a new game. If you never played any of the Sly Cooper games I really recommend them! For those interested my overall ranking of the games from good to best is 1,3,4,2.

Popular Post timpurnat
Platinum #262 Brawlhala First 20 hours was fun but then it got very repetitive and boring haha and 100k gold trophy is just insane. You get around 40 gold per free for all match so it takes a lot of time, daily bonuses and challenges really help though. I got so bored that I just used the afk bot method(you leave at the start of the game and then join back, a bot will play instead but you will still get rewards at the end) and I watched yt while my bot played instead lol. Miscellaneous trophies can be easily boosted on Australian servers with second ps4 or a friend. I don't recommend starting this game because it will sit incompleted on your list for a while lol and it's kinda tedious if you're not into that kind of games.
