Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
And some others before this #218 - Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd Gotta say this by far my favorite of the two F games, overall this had way more songs that i really liked It wasn't very difficult to platinum, but if it had a requirement to actually clear some of the Extreme songs like ( Envy Cat Walk for a Apple Tree item ), i would not be able to do it then, it's really hard for me to do those super fast presses. I think i spent well over 55 hours playing this title. Spoiler This was my Last event to get in Event Organizer, good drawing of Miku
Popular Post flashpool23
Plat #118 - Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren's Call My third Artifex Mundi Platinum in a row. This one looked a bit nicer than the others and is as easy as any other of the games to plat. Mahjong might be a bit of trouble but I somehow managed it legit in under a minute without restarting or anything so it's definitely doable. In any case, it sets up a sequel that I may get to down the line as it had a good enough story.
Popular Post MissShake
#45: Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King King of Everything Unlock every trophy in Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King. Once upon a time, back in the early 90s, there was a little girl who failed miserably at level three of The Lion King on the Sega Genesis. After fumbling around in the second level and somehow ending up in the Elephant Graveyard, she died and then her dad put in the level select code. So she saw everything in it, but she never beat any of it on her own. Fast forward to 2019... And that girl still hasn't done so. She even cheated her way to the final boss, and still she took forever to throw Scar off Pride Rock. Yeah, I forgot how rough The Lion King was. It's fascinating that it is, considering it's made for children, but I know that it was a different time. But the difficulty doesn't matter, and the platinum doesn't even really matter all that much in this case. I felt so nostalgic even just watching the game, and This Land hasn't left my head for days. I didn't even really realize how much The Lion King meant to me until I bought this collection. Aladdin may have had more emphasis on here, and that game is good, probably better than The Lion King if I'm really honest with myself. But it can't replace The Lion King and it can't replace the hours I spent playing this, or the times I would watch the original movie over and over and over again. I may have the platinum for the sake of having it, but the $30 spent here was worth it if it meant I got to be a child again.
Popular Post Masamune
Claire (PS4) Completionist Acquire all trophies. Difficulty: 2.5/10 (following a walkthrough) Enjoyment: 6/10 Playtime: 5:17:00 (1 day, 27 minutes, 45 seconds) Screenshot: Spoiler That would've made another good one for Halloween, & if I knew it was going to be that quick, I would've done so. A couple hours of that playtime is just when I had the game paused too, while I was checking the walkthrough I was following (which I definitely would recommend doing so). I'd say my easy/collectables run took probably around 2-3 hours, & my speedrun on Nightmare was under an hour. As long as you have a guide to follow, that game is easy (although I still managed to get lost a couple times), the game was a little glitchy though... I had it crash once, I got stuck in the item menu (making me restart), & I somehow started walking through walls another time... that last one may sound good, but I couldn't enter any doors (re-loading didn't fix it either, had to completely close the game). But at least it was a quick/cheap plat full of Gold & Silver trophies... I think I'll save the Vita version for next Halloween. ?

Popular Post Conor
#43- HITMAN 2: SILENT ASSASSIN (PS3) Perfect Assassin Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time Taken: 2 Days, 24 Minutes & 45 Seconds (15 Hours in-game) Rarity: 2.7% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 10.01% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Professional Mode Complete (Gold)- Completed professional difficulty "Always knew I didn't belong in this world. I wasn't made for this. But I'll never forget- those who betrayed me, and those who never failed my trust..." The classic old Hitman games were a huge part of my gaming experience growing up. I spent countless hours experimenting with the different ways I could complete a mission, going as close to either extreme as possible. Of course, the PS2 version had cheats that made things super fun, which alas are absent here. Having recently replayed the PC original Hitman: Codename 47, I figured it was time to give the HD collection on the PS3 a try. As cool as it is to control 47 and hear David Bateson's silky suave tones, this game is janky as all hell. The controls are very clunky and the camera angles are very annoying, often being way too up close behind 47's shiny bald head before slowly panning back out to give me a decent view of the scene. Now, having widescreen makes things a little better but short of going into 1st person mode (which isn't all that great in this title) there is little you can do to get the camera to do what you want. 47 also moves at a snail's pace when stealthing which makes things really annoying especially on higher difficulties when the enemies are much more unpredictable and can turn around for no reason. At Professional difficulty in particular, the enemies can see through almost any disguise straight away if you're less than 20 feet away and you so much as breath; I'm amazed they don't just randomly blast at each other for how suspicious and jumpy they are! Following guides to get the coveted "Silent Assassin" ratings in missions isn't a guarantee because NPC spawns are quite random so you can never be sure of enemy patrol patterns or civilians who can rat you out if they see you holding a sniper rifle- the missions 'St. Petersburg Stakeout' and 'The Motorcade Interception' were especially frustrating in this regard (in the latter, I got so pissed off I just resorted to massacring all of the guards, dodging between the buildings, then taking the sniper shot and clearing off before the UN soldiers could finish me, made it with literally 1% health left!). Getting five SA ratings in a row isn't too hard at the start of the game and once you get your M4 then you're free to play however you see fit, though on Professional mode you can be slaughtered in seconds so staying stealthy is best. It is still fun, though, once you have things figured out! I finished the mission 'Shogun Showdown' without ever even seeing the target myself, just blew him up when I could see he was beside my bomb on the map! The glitches in this game were a real pain, with NPCs t-posing quite frequently and enemies glitching in and out of rooms, catching me out unfairly. Professional difficulty can pose a real challenge on certain missions and following a guide is almost essential if you want to collect all weapons while going for the highest difficulty trophy as well. One thing I always particularly disliked about this game is how several missions take place one after the other and you are unable to change out your gear. Finally, getting the 47 Kills trophy on Professional difficulty is a real pain, even if you do it the recommended way on the 'Basement Killing' mission. Overall, a fine game that just shows its age a bit too much, even with the HD lick of paint, though it was still an improvement over its predecessor. Now , I look forward to the next games, which I do remember being better than this one, at least. Edited November 6, 2019 by Stan Lee
Popular Post IceSoul21
Ratchet & Clank 2 Going Commando. He went Commando. Obtain all Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando trophies. To sum up the story: some time after the events of the 1st R&C, the duo is transported to another galaxy by Abercrombie Fizzwidget, founder & CEO of Megacorp. He ask the duo for help since a thief has stolen a biological experiment, both agree and after extensive training, Ratchet's advenrture begin, not before saving his best from the thief. While visiting different planets, they learn that the creature has some flaws that make it dangerous, so they try to prevent Fizz, who they think is unaware of it, from releasing the creature to the public, while uncovering some trutths behind the scenes. This is similar to my situation with the Sly Series, although there's a difference, and that is that, unlike with the Sly games, I did play some of the Ratchet & Clank games, such as: R&C Up Your Arsenal, Ratchet Deadlocked, Size Matters and A Crack in Time. As you can see, I skipped the first 2 games as well as Tools of Destruction (which I did see in a store once a few times, but that was it) & Quest for Booty, so when I saw the HD Collection, I was like "allright, I'll be able to play R&C 1 & 2", so I did. The gameplay is similar to R&C 1, with new guns and gadgets you use in order to progress in certain parts of the maps. The worst part, at least for me, was grinding the bolts. I mean, it's not horrible, but you get bored, and angry, if you're having a good multiplier but get attacked making go back to 1 ?. Still, it's a fun game, so maybe in the future I'll replay just for fun or to try to get the trophies in my 2nd account/user ?. Grand Theft Auto V Los Santos Legend Congratulations! You're Vinewood's biggest star! I don't think anyone doesn't know GTA V's story due it being one of the best selling games ever, so I'll skip this part of the reply. Sorry, folks So, I'm not the biggest GTA player. I only played GTA San Andreas, a little bit of Vice City and this one. I do own GTA IV, but barely started it. Anyway, I read great things about GTA V, but even so, I decided to play it and see what I thought, and what do I think? It's not a bad game by any means, it's a really good game, but I think San Andreas is still my favourite ?. Still, as I said, it was a good game, but man, the grinding in order to get LV 100 in the Online was so boring. Why do they make these types of trophies? ? I ended up laying missions solo cause it was easier for me that way since people usually rushed into things and ended up getting killed, but still...at least I eventually got the trophy and focused on the SP stuff afterwards.
Popular Post TazDevilz1986
Helldivers # 400 I finally reached my milestone for 400 platinums. I decided to choose Helldivers for this, because i really liked the game for what it is. I first checked my backlog, what games where closest to the platinum. Helldivers was the perfect choice with a final trophy left for the platinum. My last trophy was for the 100.000 kills. Witch i rubberbanded for a total of 3 days. I started to rubberband around 19.000 kills, so it's really not that bad actually if you are sleeping, or doing something else. Couple trophies are really annoying, such as no alarm, level 10 without dying and so on. For a few trophies i joined random lobbies, and one level 10 difficulty lobby ended when i was in, witch gave me the trophy for beating a level 10 without dying that trophy just took about 2 min or so . So overall not too bad, while a few are very difficult. I still need to upgrade some weapons to get my final trophy in the DLC. Not sure when i will be doing that, but i will for sure 100% this game some time since i really like the game. Goosebumps The Game # 401 You Can't Scare Me! Earn every Trophy. One of the ''longer'' backlog games on my list. I earned 1% back in 2018 and stopped playing this game (for no reason). Now i finally knocked this one also from the backlog. It's extremely easy with a guide, as long as you follow step by step what you need to do. I used a text guide for this, because it was easier for me rather than using a video. There is a bunch of missable trophies in this game. I did it on the PS3 version because the PS4 version was glitchy from what i heard. One trophy didn't unlock on me witch was to finish the game in 175 turns or fewer. I was in panic, but i knew i had perfect steps correctly before i messed up by the guard part. So restarted my save location that i made. And this time the trophy did unlock. For the other trophies i had no issues, just make sure you read the text guide carefully on pstrophies.org and you should be fine. Popular Post NullSpace84
#42: World End Syndrome Yes, they have been happy days. This unassuming visual novel, about a demoralized MC who numbly takes up temporary residence in a slow-motion coastal town and begins to learn of its local (sub-)urban folk legend, captivated and highly pleased me to the point that it might qualify as a top 5 candidate of 2019 for me. WES rarely strays into the exciting or mind-blowingly exceptional, but it also hardly ever dips below contentedly rewarding: it darn near epitomizes the "very good" video game. It is consistent almost to a word, it exudes its un-hasty atmosphere in its painterly landscapes and soft audio; it provides the curious player with a means to enter a slice-of-summer narrative shadowed by a presence, potentially villainous - even, perhaps...real? I am really freakin' glad I took a shot on it! Thanks for the assist, PQube! The events of WES' August join a tastefully moderated permeating mystery plot with capable and (IMO) largely wince-less romance arcs. The player, by completing the individual gal-pal arcs, chips away at the overarching harbinger which embodies the core of Mihate Town's folk myth, the Yomibito. Travel around town is almost never restricted - bring a knowledgeable guide, those who'd pursue the platinum - such that even loitering around assumedly vacant locales can collide the MC with an unexpected encounter with a vital individual, or maybe offer our discouraged fellow a glimpse into the town's contemporary operations, or even insight into an acquaintance's mental makeup. ArcSys' Toybox crafted this product, and it definitely shows in the sharp and snappy character art. I highly like that WES subscribes to the multi-directional trend, portraying characters from (e.g.) the side or the back, when practical. Proper variance of artistic posture nicely distinguishes the upper-class Saya, the reticent Miu, the jitterbug Hanako, and more. The game's excesses dabble into a few long-familiar tropes without leaping off the metaphorical diving board into a swimming pool of trite, simpleminded guffaws. Honestly, even counting the odder of balls amid the central cast of 8, I never really felt put off or exasperated by anything, never deemed any sequence majorly irritating or cloying. I'm not much for fictional romancing, but a couple of the later scenes were genuinely sweet and heartfelt and partially averted the tritest of outcomes. Two routes were great to me, two routes were solid to okay, and one route fell tepidly flat for 90% of it. I stayed engaged overall, nevertheless, although I have zero clue how Kensuke can stroll around town in his casual outfit with any semblance of dignity, however. I will not display his garish color scheme in this, a PSNP post of integrity. Google it if your eyes need a blinking! I would like to address a spot of true route subject matter; please scurry past the spoiler block if you've a design to play the game proper. Spoiler Detective Ryuzaki, during the finale, delivers a couple of unimpressed, pointed reproaches of the disheartening trend of collective humans, too frequently, to rush to demonize and derail unlucky individuals caught in the crossfire and/or crosshairs of online bullying and social media scorn, particularly if said vulnerable individuals merit little to no 'blame' whatsoever. It struck me deeply, despite never really getting bullied online myself, since across my 2+ decades online I've witnessed (and discouraged) more than a handful of knee-jerk internet condemnations and be-a-man-and-take-it verbal scathings. Heck, more temperance and less venom sounds pragmatic to me. Douse fire with water. Mihate Town doesn't actively leap out like an Akihabara or a Shibuya district, but the cozy seaside settlement cozily hosted me and my playthrough all the way to its story's touching, life-affirming conclusion. World End Syndrome may or may not be an actual occurrence, but I can testify this about the game which fashioned its name: I'd zip back in a flash for a revisit, to the place where the pinwheels spin, and days like waves drift calmly by. Yes, they have been happy days. Edited November 5, 2019 by Larx Apostrophe. *shhh*

Popular Post flashpool23
#119 - Energy Invasion This Energy Invasion Platinum certainly looks nice at least. I got it expecting a good brickbreaker type game but what I got was perhaps the worst variation of it ever! Linear mode especially is a mess as the blocks go down and there isn't enough time to get to them unless you somehow get lucky with powerups and bounces. Even the trophy name for completing that mode knows it since it's called "Persistence". I don't recommend it but if you have it, you might as well play it. #120 - Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard (Insert text about how the plat image looks nice and it was a fun little pikmin clone but lacked proper cutscenes.... Popular Post vampiresarego
#60 - NieR: Automata (PS4) 3rd November 2019 Final Words 1 month, 2 weeks, 2 days To start, let me say, that this was not the game I was expecting it to be. I didn't expect this game to be a semi-open world action RPG, with bullet hell dynamics and mini-game hacking elements; a pure mash-up to be honest. I thought this was more of a side scrolling action platformer, kind of similar to Strider, but with way better graphics. So to start, I was a little shook, this isn't what I signed up for! But wow!! After the initial shock I was completely taken by this game. I see why this ended up on a lot of "Best Of" lists for 2017. Like I said before, this is primarily an "open-world action RPG," but I can tell you it's way more than that. A pretty seamless blend of narrative storytelling with a dynamic game experience, this game always has you on your toes. One moment you are in a top down shooter, then you are running through a vast desert searching for clues to an abandoned world, to an 8-bit style minigame the next. The graphics in this game are phenomenal, the world that Platinum Games has created is bleak but beautiful. Vast forests, desert wastelands, desolate cities, and even an abandoned theme park. The soundtrack is also quite an accomplishment. Eerie, light, sad, and epic, but always fits the locale and the situation at hand. This game is a pure masterpiece in it's truest form. I would love to see another one of these made, I think Platinum has a franchise on their hands if they chose to do more with it. As for the trophies, they are a little time consuming to get them all, I sank over 90+ hours into this to finally get the platinum. It's not a difficult platinum to get, but it will just take a lot of time. If you are used to the standard RPG platinum grind, however, this won't come as a surprise. I can't say enough good things about NieR: Automata, it wasn't what I was expecting at all, and loved it because of that. Do yourself a favour, go out and grab a copy of this very unique experience. 2B!!! "Everything That Lives Is Designed To End. We Are Perpetually Trapped In A Never-Ending Spiral Of Life And Death. Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #407: Alien Isolation (JP) Difficulty: 4/10 Playtime: 20-25 hours Enjoyment: 8/10 Right, so up front I just wanna say I had this one pencilled in for Spooktober but I didn't know about the age verification thing on the JP PS Store until it was too late, so I had to order a physical copy. That, as things from Japan are wont to do, took over a month to arrive. So here we are. Anyways, you know the drill: one of the best licensed games ever, a top ten of the decade, eight* Facehuggers out of ten, blah blah blah, etc. Overjoyed to find I could plat it one last time, and cleanse my soul of bad memories of the wonky PS3 version. There wasn't much of a language barrier (heh, this version is more Yutani than Weyland), but the inevitable Japanese cross/circle switch did land me in hot water more than once, not to mention have me quit out of computer monitor screens unintentionally. So how does an Isolation veteran such as myself challenge themselves? Well, by doing everything in one run, naturally! Hard mode, no human kills, no deaths, no weapons, Fox only, Final Destination. "One Shot" by name, "One Shot" by nature. And wouldn't you know who accomplished just that? And apart from holding me up in the damn medical corridors for the better part of an hour, the Xenomorph(s) didn't provide all that much trouble. Had to cloud save to do the trophies for killing and getting killed, but that goes without saying. Easily my best run ever... and so it shall remain because the next time I play it, years from now, will be for the sheer fun of it. Now pardon me whilst I blast some Xenomorphs in Mortal Kombat X for, like, a solid hour for some more sweet, sweet catharsis!
Popular Post Dauersack
#35: Party like it's 2024 This was it, the game I actually wanted when I bought the trilogy. The first two games being there was fine don't get me wrong, but I knew they didn't come close to this game. The third game in the reignited trilogy, longer than the other two and more refined than ever in every way. The biggest addition is that you can play with different characters and that keeps things interesting and fresh in the third round. Aside from Spyro you can now also play as your loyal companion Sparx, as a high jumping ass kicking Kangaroo, as a flying rocket shooting military penguin, as an eloquent massive club wielding yeti and as a slightly insane laboratory monkey with laser guns. All of these characters play differently, some have their own differing modes for levels and sub levels, all have entertaining personalities and provide a lot of comedy. The game has more mini games than ever, from the once rightfully feared Yeti Boxing to rail shooting or sidescrolling and many more. The music is very close to the original but if you like the original more you can change to the classic music it in the games menu, though some songs are so faithfully recreated that it is hard to notice a big difference and the dynamic music is working nicely, a job well done for sure, graphics look as gorgeous and colorful as in the first two games. The only thing that slightly let me down was the reduced difficulty, this game was way too easy because they nerfed all the bosses, flying levels and minigames compared to the PS1. Aside from the Harbor Speedway that challenged me a bit during the racing part, everything was way too easy, I managed to win both the Yeti Boxing as well as the bonus world ice race on the very first try, these were tough as nails on PS1 so acing them right away would have been unthinkable, but here they seemed hard to even lose. Admittedly a bit of a shame but I guess it can't be helped with the sometimes easily discouraged current gamer generation, hell the first thread on Spyro 1 I saw was someone complaining about the flying levels being impossible, no idea how someone can come to that conclusion if a subpar gamer like me blitzes through it easily. That minor disappointment aside, since I thankfully encountered no bothersome bugs like some people reported, I still had my best gaming experience of the current year playing this trilogy and it is a damn shame I am done with it now, I even went the extra mile to get 120%, 100% and 117% respectively on the 3 games, which are the highest completion numbers you can get, just to prolong the whole thing a bit, but it sadly is finished for good now. I don't expect to have this much fun with a game again in quite a while, but it was great while it lasted and I got 3 platinums out of it as a bonus, all for quite cheap, really no reason complain about the whole thing. I can recommend the trilogy to anyone who has not bought it as of now, if you don't look for challenges and like collecting stuff you should have a great time with it.
