Actually a few levels are pretty tough and got my ass kicked on Brave difficulty. It can be a challenge for sure if you aren't familliar with it. Overall enjoyed this game. Popular Post freddie1989
#151 - Detroit: Become Human Forgot to add this one! Really good game, great story, so many options you can go with and outcomes you can receive which makes the initial blind playthrough nervy but fun at the same time. I tried my hardest to make this bloody plat as difficult as I could by messing up my decisions several times but got there in the end. Can't really say much about the story without spoilers so I will leave it at that. Next up I really don't know. Hopefully Invasions are still going to happen so I can get Mortal Kombat X done but other than that I think Watch Dogs 2 and Zombi may be the focus.

Popular Post Copanele
No.70 + 100% : MK X Platinum Name : Platinum Trophy Hardest Trophy : Keep it Secret - Find a secret fight in Secret Tower Rarity : 1.94% Difficulty : 5/10 - a mixture of annoying trophies and grindy online part Personal Impression : 7.5/10 After lots of tries and waiting for those damn towers, finally reached 100% and platinum in MK X. Ignoring the sub-par story, the combat is really good. Of course, not all characters are viable(D'Vorah is one of the most useless characters I've seen since Hakan in SF4) but overall the game is fluid and pretty easy to learn. Also, while at first I did not like the Variant choosing (compared to MK9 where you had all the movesets at your disposal), I got used to it pretty quickly. Subzero Grandmaster variant is a favorite just because I love tossing Klones at opponents. The reason I put the plat as difficulty 5/10 : It's VERY time consuming and grindy. Ironically, it's not the 10 wins in ranked or 10 combo hits with every char what got me (or even the Bo Rai Cho DLC trophy, it's not as hard as you would think), it's that stupid " Find a secret fight" in the premier towers. Had to wait 1 month for it just because I missed the previous tower. Also the Invasion was busted until 3 months ago , lots of thanks to all players who messages the devs and complained about the lack of Invasion events. And of course, not to mention how utterly not fun KOTH vote grinding is. I managed to do it half-legit (found a room by mistake who were farming for those points...half of the time) but mostly, players don't even bother to give Respect Points. So yeah, I kinda get why the rarity is at 1.94% for the plat. One other gripe : the jumpscares in the Krypt. This is a personal annoyance : I do not really like horror stuff that are based on "boo gotcha sucker". Adding spider jumpscares is really tasteless imo. I preferred ignoring the Krypt altogether. Luckily the Krypt is 10 times better in MK11, at least they listened to that feedback. Overall a pretty ok-ish and chill fighting game. Everyone can 100% it with minimal practice, but be ready for some serious time investment. Personally, I doubt I will play it anymore though.
Popular Post Squirlruler
#75 Bastion: You Done Good This is a game, along with Transistor, that has been recommended to me basically since it has come out. I needed a game to become my 75 milestone. Boy, was this game good. Right from the start I knew I was going to enjoy the game just because of how the narration was done. The combat was fun and active, and the weapons felt different as you used them, with a good spread of melee and ranged. The 10 Idol Dream runs were fairly difficult, but there was a couple good set ups. The History Books one, though, phew, that took me several tries to beat. The sound track was great! Though, that was to be expected since I have listened to the Transistor sound track again and again haha. The story was good, nothing too groundbreaking, but very enjoyable. I really liked the "Lost and Found", so you didn't have to be overly concerned with making sure you explored every single little nook and cranny, or have to use a guide to find all the upgrades. This is a great game, go play it. Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty : 6/10 Plat time: ~15 hours BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! #76 Fallout 76: Ugh. So. Fallout 76. I am sure everyone has heard more than they ever wanted to hear about this game. Well, you are in luck, you get to hear more about it First the good: sound track was really good. Found myself listening to the radio a lot, and singing the songs outside the game. Ambiance was spot on as well. Turn the radio off and just listen to everything going on around you, it's great. The map was really big, and the different areas were visually appealing (Especially the Mire). The locations for the most part were done well, some felt a little empty with lack of NPCs. One thing though, it is clear the people making the locations put a lot of love into it. I didn't find the lack of NPCs as overwhelmingly negative, since the Fallout world is gleamed a lot of terminals, notes and exploring. Would the information probably have been more well rounded with them? Absolutely. The MOST fun I had with the game, was when I played with friends. That really was a saving grace, though, I would have much preferred a co-op type instead of an MMO type. Now for the bad: Atom Shop is garbage. BGS constantly going back on their word. BGS taking community feedback to and then literally selling it back to the consumers. The Atom Shop has a literal weapon for sale. New features released are always broken. Tons and tons of in game bugs. Just to give you an idea of how bad some of these new feature bugs are: They released a "vault raid" but there was a sequence where if the group leader DC'ed, then you DC'ed (which was ALL THE TIME in raiding because their servers are unstable as all hell), you could lose literally your entire inventory. There is a significant lack of content. I ended up grinding 50+ levels to 100 by killing one area over and over. Many of the high level/harder creatures gave a pittance of rewards for killing them. Another super annoying thing is all the server disconnects. You are able to take over Workshops in the world and they can give resources. You get a set amount of scrap to build with and after you use that up, you can use your own. However, if you disconnect after building up that workshop, it is exceedingly difficult to get back into that server so you won't have just wasted all those materials. Ugh. This game has potential, but BGS seems intend on squandering it away. I fear for TES:6 and Starfield. :[ Enjoyment: 3/10 (6/10 with friends) Difficulty : 2/10 Plat time: ~110 hours

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #408: Difficulty: 2.5/10 Playtime: 10-12 hours Enjoyment: 9/10 This is not only the best (and probably only?) game to use the four seasons as a game mechanic since Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, but probably one of the best indie games I've ever played. Like, umm, ever. I've held off on writing this post because I can't quite eloquate my experience in a satisfying way... and I still can't! So I'm not going to. Suffice to say, as an artistic vision it's near flawless in both concept and execution. It captures the atmosphere of each season visually and aurally, in a way only barely heightened beyond reality. The story is surprisingly touching, and plays out on a pleasantly minimalist scale that still left me with time for rumination. Even when the controls proved a little dated and creaky, it was hardly ever bad enough to mar my experience. The trophies didn't ever get in the way of the game, and I never even needed a guide as hanging around in the seasonal world looking for flowers to grow was nothing short of pleasant. TL;DR: I loved it and I shall surely play it again someday. That in itself is a rarity for me to say about any game, let alone what seemed like just your run-of-the-mill indie platformer. A bit of a modern classic if I may be so bold. If you're looking for a breath of fresh air (of varying levels of temperature) amongst the hubbub of modern "AAA" gaming, look no further.
Popular Post JaM
#302 The Alliance Alive HD RemasteredAlliance Alive Acquire all trophies I rarely visit PSNP lately and on one rare day that I decided to check the forums, I found a thread that says that this game is from the creator of Suikoden. I love Suikoden so without any doubt, I bought the game without any knowledge about the game. And I didn't regret buying it. It was a fun experience. Well, the story is not that memorable but it is not bad. Unfortunately, like Ni No Kuni 2, the recruiting part leans more on quantity, rather than quality(well, 167 recuits so not that surprising I guess). The gameplay is quite interesting, it lets you pick what weapons you choose for most of the playable characters(well, obviously Flippers are the best ) - it give you more freedom on which strategy you want to play the game. The road to platinum is not hard but not easy though. I was lucky that there is a guide already for the game which makes it way easier. Like the other JRPGs, it has Missables, Grind, and RNG - and of course a Speedrun for a cherry on top. As said, it was a fun experience so I highly recommend it to anyone that likes JRPG. Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #59: Uncharted II: Drake's Fortune (PS3) Did it with the tweaks glitch. Had a lot of fun with playing this game twice in a short period. I forgot much of this game, so the hard playthrough I thoroughly enjoyed. Even though I liked it much, I'm not going to do U3 soon. Played Uncharted enough for a while now. If you have this game not platted on your profile, do it. Its still very much playable. Platinum #60: SkyScrapers Ez plat, was a bit of fun. I only did this because I have Ps Now and wanted a fast plat. Next up will probably be MediEvil or Nippon Marathon. Depends what I'm in the mood for to play.
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #43 - Miracle Girls Festival Difficulty Rating 4/10 Enjoyment Rating 7/10 Uncommon - 40.59% Another rhythm game for me. Only this one was an import from Japan if you couldn’t tell. This genre is definitely not where my gaming skills shine, but I always manage to trudge through every time ? So why did I pick this one up in particular? It’s simple, they baited me. Yep, this game stars a waifu of mine, maybe two. And as a result, I was suckered in like the thirsty otaku I am. But hey, always nice to have more Vita games shining on the shelf to boost that weeb power level I might have going on Miracle Girls Festival basically takes after the Hatsune Miku Project Diva series as far as gameplay goes, only the fever meter here is much more generous. Good reflexes are still needed to achieve this somewhat easy platinum, but I don’t see many normies tackling this one due to it’s theme.. but just in case, let’s talk about it. There is a story going on in this game, but I can’t read Japanese so I had to skip the dialogue ? You’ll play through Tour Mode and then play A LOT of individual songs over and over again to accumulate 3000 tickets and 500,000 coins. This should come naturally, for you’ll be trying to beat all songs on all difficulties. You simply have to pass them, no need to be perfect here. Except for the trophy that wants you to complete a set of bingo challenges for one song. Unlocking extreme difficulty for a song is too migraine inducing to explain, for there are a couple ways to go about doing it. Please see the trophy guide on this site for more information ? And besides, I’m sure I have no idea what the hell I’m talking about this time around, these rhythm games make my head spin with their dumb specifics >.> I’m amazed I popped this platinum in all honesty. I know it only says 40%, but keep in mind a majority of that percentage are superhuman Japanese players ? If I had to guess, I would say this platinum feels more like a 15% or 20% at best. Even if the game offers handicap items in exchange for coins, those can only take one so far. For example, I can’t time button presses very well when I’m distracted by Akane Isshiki shaking her treasure of an ass on stage I only have two choices, look at her or look at the buttons, can’t have both! This applies only to the song Vivid Shining Sky by the way, hahaha! As for anyone else playing this game, if you’re confident in your rhythm game skills, you will succeed at this one. It’s a whole lot easier than some others in the genre. Miracle Girls Festival is super niche, so I’m sure none of you will be playing it anytime soon ? Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#118 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) "Tier 1" Unlock all Trophies After playing every single COD from MW to BO3, I've skipped the entries from the last few years. I was definitely fatigued, and they didn't really appeal to me. This 'remake' (of sorts) of the OG Modern Warfare - the game that started it all way back in 2007 - is a thrilling experience in terms of both the Campaign and Multiplayer. I've always really enjoyed the COD campaigns. They might not always 'make sense', but there's just something inherently enjoyable about the outlandish craziness they bring to the table. This is absolutely a step-up in the story-telling department, as COD tells their best story in years. The characters are all great, mo-cap is amazing (those cutscenes are next level), sound design is breathtaking, and the environments, weapons and effects also look amazing. The story itself is a bit less bombastic than, say, MW3, but that's not to say it's any less impactful. There are a few missions here that are among my favourites in the franchise (Clean House in particular is incredible) for sure. The gunplay feels a bit different / improved, but is still definitely COD; impactful and solid. The campaign is absolutely worth a play through; but be prepared for some confronting moments. No I don't think it's as crazy as the media would make you think it is, but - much like Spec Ops: The Line - you won't just be mindlessly killing stuff during this campaign. MP wise, I'm having an absolute blast. The team has been pretty good with balance patches so far, and they are constantly (again, so far) adding new maps and modes. It's just fun to play; both alone and with mates. Is it revolutionary? Not necessarily, but I'm having a great time at the moment. Maybe that's primarily because it's been a few years since I last played a COD game; probably too early to say for sure. I haven't played much co-op yet - just had a bad experience with matchmaking and teammates dying and leaving - but I'm keen to get into it with a group of mates. Trophies are run-of-the-mill here, and very straight forward. There are a few fun 'challenges' in each mission that encourage you to play a certain way (companion block!), but nothing too crazy. Just don't expect to get all of them done on your Veteran run... speaking of, Veteran really isn't too bad here. It's been notorious in past games (rip Ferris wheel in OG MW) for being a grenade spam-fest, but I didn't really run into many issues. There are a few harder bits - mainly in the more open levels, such as the last - but no insane 'brick walls'. ALSO, I highly encourage you to play on Realistic, at least once. Turn subtitles off, etc (if you can), and just revel in how immersive some of these levels can be. You've got no HUD (including weapon names, ammo counters, etc.), but it's honestly no harder than Veteran by itself. Seriously, give it a go! I had a blast with the new COD:MW. Seeing returning characters like Cpt. Price - and numerous callbacks to the original game (WE ARE LEAVING!!) - made for a great time. I'd recommend this to any shooter fan; especially if you've enjoyed COD in the past but been turned off by recent entries. This is a great return to form for the franchise, and though it's not as crazy and inventive as something like Death Stranding, there's something to be said for some good old-fashioned FPS action. I got the platinum for this myself recently and also quite enjoyed it. Didn't really understand the story in all honesty as it kind of mostly went over my head but a solid game as far as the lesser known indie games go. In my case I did need a guide for the bird singing trophy and to mop up a few of the flowers I'd missed plus I was a bit mystified at first with the fireflies puzzle. The changing seasons to solve puzzles gimmick was very well done though as you say.

So with that said the platinum was not close to being a bother to pick up as I enjoyed every step on the way.
