Popular Post Zach
#151 The Last of Us Remastered Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 (7/10 Since I played on Grounded) Time: 35-40hrs (Did Easy then Grounded+) The Last of Us is a great and emotional game that I believe everyone should experience. I'm an emotional person, so the prologue chapter really got to me and was a great plunge into the game. When it comes to the story, Ellie is obviously the main star of the game. She is literally what makes this game so great. In my opinion, gameplay takes a backseat. That's not to say it's bad. I really like the survival aspect to it. Limited supplies definitely makes the game super intense. I just thought the controls could've been better. I'm a little mad at myself for waiting this long to experience this great game. I can't wait for The Last of Part II. I will start the Left Behind DLC tomorrow.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#119 - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order "A New Hope" Earn all trophies A good Star Wars game!!! What planet am I living on??? Haha but seriously, this is a very solid - albeit not perfect - Star Wars game in the vein of Dark Souls (yes, it actually is similar), Uncharted, Tomb Raider and Metroidvania. Does it rise above to become greater than the games that inspired it? Not necessarily, but that's not to say it's not a great game. There's a lot to love here. If you're a fan of Star Wars in any capacity, you'll absolutely enjoy the characters, story, worlds and lore implications that abound. Especially with Mandalorian on Disney+ at the moment, it seems that Star Wars is finally getting some very good stories, which is great to see. The combat is a little bit imprecise at times, but it's still a heck of a lot of fun to mow down stormtroopers and creatures with the authentic-sounding and authentic-feeling lightsaber. Traversal and exploration is clearly inspired by recent blockbusters like Uncharted and Tomb Raider, but that's not a bad thing; it's a blast to use your abilities to explore these worlds that Respawn has created. Speaking of, the world design here is excellent. Though not quite as interconnected as, say, the original Dark Souls, the maps/planets are expansive and exciting to explore, with myriad shortcuts throughout. The tombs that serve as this game's 'Zelda dungeons' are also very well-designed; often based upon a relatively simple mechanic, but one that is explored in interesting ways. Characters are also very well-done here, with the villain and some of your companions (BD-1 is a cutie!) as highlights. Some of the mo-cap is a bit creepy (Cere's eyes are huge, what the heck?), but characters generally show emotion well. Cal is a decent protagonist too, but don't necessarily expect him to be a new fan-favourite; he's cool, but doesn't really stand out. I didn't have too many issues with the game, but there were still some aspects that I didn't like as much. Though Fallen Order isn't an ugly game - it looks stunning at times on my OLED HDR TV (lol) - any textures beyond the close-to-mid range were pretty muddy. This was especially evident on a later forest planet, where expansive vistas ended up being quite disappointing. Lighting was also a bit strange in parts; I won't say it was bad, but it made things look washed out more than I would have liked. I did play around with my brightness/contrast/tone HDR settings a bit which helped, but still not perfect. There were also some issues with pop-in, load times and enemies appearing out of nowhere (as if they just took ages to load). Again, not a game-breaker, but occurred much more often on the forest planet. I was also a bit disappointed with the abrupt ending; for such a great story throughout the game, I was a bit let down by how quickly things ended. There are absolutely some awesome boss fights and scenes near the ending of the game, I just felt it could have done a bit more. But eh, maybe that's just me. I highly recommend playing on 'Jedi Grand Master' (the game's 'very hard') difficulty here too. Though I had a few issues early on when learning the controls, it absolutely is the most rewarding way to play. Sure you might feel 'more like a Jedi' being able to just slaughter things on easy, but - being a huge fan of Soulsborne myself - I had a blast with this difficulty. I took maybe 5-6 attempts at most on some bosses, but it still felt rewarding to overcome them; and I actually had to learn mechanics instead of just spamming. Up to you, but I'd highly recommend it. There aren't any missable trophies either, so if you want to turn the difficulty down later to go for collectibles, etc. that's fine too. There's not really anything too hard here trophy-wise either; you might have to do a bit (or a lot) of backtracking, but there's some interesting lore tied to some of the collectibles so it's worth it. I also enjoyed just destroying everything with my maxed-out end-game kit haha. Overall I had a lot of fun with Fallen Order. It's not perfect, and I still feel that games like Bloodborne have it beat in several ways, but it's on par with some of the best single-player games of recent years. Combining solid combat, excellently-crafted worlds and a solid story/characters with the Star Wars universe is certainly a win in my books. Certainly worth a play, just not quite my game of the year Game rating: 8/10 Plat difficulty: 3-4/10 (depending on difficulty) Edited December 3, 2019 by FluffyAssassin64

Popular Post DarkSoleride
Platinum No: 127 Game: Riddled Corpses EX Title: Hardcore Gamer Platform: PS Vita Enjoyment 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 (i agree with the guide) 19/11/2019 So i have had this in my backlog for about a year now i think on my PS Vita (i do not plan on stacking the PS4 version) and i needed a game i can jump in and out of playing when going through Trails of Cold Steel III on my PS4. This game was it. I was never prone to playing twin-stick shooter of any kind as i thought they involved some serious skill and reflexes which kind of deterred me from starting it up. I am so glad i pushed aside my vanity and did just that. The game itself is a very colourful retro graphic twin-stick shooter and i personally found it a perfect fit for the PS Vita to be able to jump in and out. The game plays exactly as the guide states when you first start up the game you will be dying A LOT! You basically spend a good few hours just replaying the first level over and over again to farm gold to level up your character so you can push through the later levels. You need to me a mindset of being vigilant at all times learn the patterns of the bosses, bosses on stage 4 and 5 and the bonus stage (or stage 6) are a real pain in the ass if you do not memorise their attack and movement patterns. This game thankfully have auto-save so even if you die you retain everything you collected and all your stats. So with this in mind on the PlayStation Vita this game does occasionally crash for prolonged periods of play. I noticed after about two hours of solid playing this game would just crash highly annoying when you are making progress. However with this aside for any PS Vita fan and person with access to a PSVita or PS4 i would recommend playing this even if you are terrible at the genre like me because its a fantastic game! I would recommend buying some thumb grips if you are playing on PS Vita otherwise prepare for pain these are the ones i bought. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6x-Analog-Controller-Thumb-Stick-Cap-Joystick-Cover-For-PS-Vita-PSV-1000-2000/273905158589?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Platinum No: 128 Game: A Winter's Daydream Title: A Winter's Daydream Platinum Platform: PS Vita Enjoyment 2/10 Difficulty 0/10 22/11/2019 Not really too much to say about this game i am trying to clear out my backlog of PlayStation Vita games, One to free up space on my memory card, and two because well i spent money on this game so may as well play it! This game i is made by one man and a Western developer to from what i read and he put it on PS Vita so it grabbed my intention mainly because we do not get very many if any Western visual novels at all. The game is about a school boy trying to find his place in the world goes off to Tokyo to be a student, is overally loved by his mum and dad and has an annoying sister who is just spoiled and immature until he is told to go see his grandmother. From their the story warps and gets really weird but its a good game i will not spoil too much. I would recommend reading it and when you do make sure you turn off AUTO-SKIP or Auto-Read this will disable the trophies so be prepared for sore fingers and thumbs for pressing "X" a lot. Good job i bought those PS Vita thumb grips haha The game is a walk in the part no guide needed one playthrough all trophies pop nothing is missable unless you have AUTO-SKIP on. ] Platinum No: 129 Game: Battlefield: Bad Company Title: Battlefield: Bad Company Platinum Platform: PS3 Enjoyment 9/10 Difficulty 8/10 01/12/2019 Damn well these trophy names for the Platinums are so uninspiring lol, anyway this is my second platinum in the Battlefield series overall and my second time playing this game to 100% (Originally played this game on Xbox 360 back in 2008/9). This is by far my one of my favourite Battlefield games in terms of the story and gameplay (Battlefield 4 still is my favourite online experience had so much fun playing that online for hours with friends) I did the grind all over again. I started this game back in 2016 and played a lot of the multiplayer after i had spent some time with the story mode the severs was pretty decent then even though it was a 7 year old game at that point, and now its hard to believe this game is now 10 years old! which is crazy to think. The online mode is punishing even when you have a job or not working and playing its going to take at least 6 months of casual playing and playing well to get the 10,002 kills trophy. Best thing is just focus on the medals when you do it so you sort of hit two birds with one stone so to speak. Otherwise the other misc-trophies are easy enough when boosting them. Now the story mode on hard... wow the story is fantastic but damn the amount of tanks, helicopters and god knows what other vehicles that come constantly after you and bombard you with shells and gunfire is stupid, thankfully you can die and the enemies do not respawn which is nice but to just get through it i was pulling my hair hour most of the time. Also i have gotten so used to Call of Duty's standard of control layout going back to finish this game was painfully hard to play as a shooter. The optimal layout for shooters is the COD set up i am sorry. Otherwise fantastic game highly recommended even if you do not go for the platinum its one of the best the PS3 has to offer and a treasure of a EA era of great games that no longer is relevant to them today. Now i because of this game i have started Battlefield Bad Company 2 so anybody want to join me hit me up! *In progress Trails of Cold Steel III CURSE YOU CHEST QUEST TROPHY!!!

Popular Post MrGarland
#70 My Hero One's Justice Difficulty: 3/10 Platinum time: 30-35 hours Enjoyment: 8/10 It should be mentioned that i really don't play anime/manga based games. Same goes to fighting games. I'm not an expert with those. However, i made an exception with this. It turned out to be the easiest fighting game i've played and i actually enjoyed it. The story mode was pretty much self-explanatory. Since i haven't read/watched the manga/anime too much (currently at Volume 7 and Season 2), i had to skip the story at some point, to avoid spoilers. That said, i was aware of some parts of the story. Anyway, it was pretty easy to beat. The only hard parts were the last mission in villain story and the very last mission in hero story. Took me about 15-20 minutes before i got past them. They were that tough, especially the latter. Finally, i went for S-ranks on all missions, even though it's not required. It was easy enough. Not much else to say about the rest. Online mode is not completely dead, so finding matches wasn't hard, though time consuming. Mission mode, with DLC, was easy and quick once i got far enough. Endeavor also ended up being my most used character in the game. He's easy enough to master. If there's anything i disliked, it's the AI. The way it acts is odd. In some missions, the AI focuses on evading which makes it really annoying to land a blow. Especially in those missions where your health gets depleted. Also, f*** Nomu(s). That character is by far the most annoying character in the game. Not only they deal a lot of damage, but that rolling attack is very annoying. Thankfully, it seems they can't use Plus Ultras, so there's that. Anyway, it was fun game to play and platinum. I'm planning to play the sequel at some point when it comes. Finally, let's not forget... Go Beyond! PLUS ULTRA! Edited December 3, 2019 by MrGarland
Popular Post AJ_Radio
So I've been putting off this thread for a bit now, with the last several platinums I've earned not getting a mention in this topic. So instead of just making a textbook story for every game since people aren't going to care what I did weeks or months ago, I'll just copy and paste over from my own thread in Trophy Checklists. With of course, some editing. Platinum #207: Sonic Generations (October 13th, 2019) Difficulty: 5/10 Excitement Rating: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 21 - 22 Hours Hardest Trophy: Red Ring Collector (Get all Red Star Rings) A much longer and tedious game than I was expecting. While I appreciated seeing Green Hill Zone and Chemical Plant Zone, this game was basically a big laundry list of things to do. Too many annoying collectibles and basically replaying the acts over and over, with one trophy that requires you beat all the acts again for Ranking Attack, which is online. Controls were poor and the platforming was something to be desired. Some of the challenges were fun, most notably the Vector challenge where you bounce musical notes to him. But most of them were basically replaying a section of an act, with a few challenges having absolutely no checkpoints despite taking two - three minutes to finish. The Red Rings were awful and required multiple attempts. The last two areas were a pain in the ass because of their length. Not that hard of a game, but not as overly easy and short as some people make it out to be. The biggest problem is the sheer amount of loading screens you will encounter. Admittedly this was released on the PlayStation 3 so I can understand the hardware limitations. But that didn't mean this wasn't painful to sit through because it definitely was. A long time ago I was a huge Sonic fan. Nearly 20 years later, I've basically fallen out of favor with Sonic almost entirely. Sonic Generations did what it needed to do, a mix of nostalgia and old school combined with the more modern elements from such games as Sonic 2006 and Sonic Unleashed. Only recommend if you're a big Sonic fan. Otherwise skip this, as there are other games that infuse 2-D and 3-D platforming much better. Platinum #208: Dokuro (October 18th, 2019) Difficulty: 5/10 Excitement Rating: 7/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 15 - 18 Hours Hardest Trophy: Dark Lord? No Biggie (Defeat the Dark Lord without taking any damage) Took close to a whole year to finally wrap this game up. While a cute game that has a neat aesthetic, Dokuro definitely felt a bit too long. By the 11th or 12th stage I felt the game kept dragging on, because by that point I have already moved boxes and activated switches a few dozen times. The princess tends to be dumb as rocks, and there were a couple times where I failed a level numerous times because the princess will just approach the flower (end point of a level) regardless of what dangers lie ahead. Some puzzles were a little troublesome but nothing was overly difficult. Most of the levels were fairly straightforward, with only a few taking several attempts to figure out. The collectibles sometimes needed some good platforming but none of them were too aggravating. This is definitely a game you either like or you don't like much at all. I had some fun with it, but I'm definitely glad I can cross off a game that's been on my backlog for the better part of three years out of the list. Platinums #209 - 210: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (October 20th, 2019) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement Rating: 10/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 13 - 14 Hours Hardest Trophy: It Ain't Easy Being Green (Find all 64 Kerotans) Technical brilliance and ability are the best terms to describe this game. Hideo Kojima should be proud of a game that holds up extremely well and has a real sense of humor. In short, this game is fucking awesome. Hideo Kojima and Konami did a fantastic job taking a part of American/Russian history (the escalating Cold War between the US and Soviet Union) and putting their own twist into it. The story was great from start to finish. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater has the distinction of being perhaps the only game for it's time to feature alternate scenes in a cutscene, seen by pressing the R1 button. Many cutscenes are optional but a few are required for a couple trophies, namely the cutscenes just before the end credits that end up running for a good 40 - 50 minutes. Old cutscenes from the 1960s era were used to help propel the story, which would lead into an epic duel between Snake and his old mentor, The Boss. There is so much attention to detail here it is staggering. Sometimes it's the finer details that make a game into a masterpiece, and for Metal Gear Solid 3, seeing such fine details tends to have me think games of this caliber don't come around often. For a 15 year old game, it has aged extremely well. I loved this game, and now that I finished it this makes me incredibly eager to play the other games in the franchise. Collectibles were the only 'weak' point, with an over abundance of them required for platinum trophy. Kerotan Frogs were particularly troublesome, with a few only possible by using a sniper rifle while being driven around on a motorcycle. Definitely one of the more annoying collectibles. For a PlayStation 2 era game, Metal Gear Solid 3 was ahead of it's time. Many things that were seen in this game wouldn't be implemented until years later. Fantastic game, fantastic story, impressive attention to detail, good gameplay that feels rewarding. I don't often rate games a 10 out of 10, but this game definitely deserves that rating. You just can't go wrong with it. Platinum #211: Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell (October 30th, 2019) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 20 Hours Hardest Trophy: Let's Bounce (In Torment Fraud, hit 5 vehicles in a row without touching the ground) Not the best in the Saints Row series. Story was okay. The challenges were a slog to go through, particularly the weapon challenges which are mostly kill based. Since I didn't try doing the weapon challenges during the Survival events, I had to raise up my Notoriety enough to where a bunch of demons would spawn and then I would grind kills using that weapon until the Archduke came by. Kill him, then it was rinse and repeat 100+ times. The trophy Let's Bounce gave me issues and I finally got it after going back to Torment Fraud after I tried constantly before I cleared the entire map. The one co-op trophy that requires boosting with another player was annoying, simply because it's unnecessary. Gat was obviously the character I chose, since I consider Kinzie too much of a brat to have used her the majority of the time. I felt that Volition Games got cheap with Gat Out of Hell, as Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV clearly had more effort put into them. I may argue this was a spinoff title, yet even for a spinoff it wasn't all that good. This game could of done with a longer story. But at least this confirms I've completed the entire series for trophies. Platinum #212: Jak X: Combat Racing (November 2nd, 2019) Difficulty: 5/10 Excitement Rating: 5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 10 - 12 Hours Hardest Trophy: Let's Bounce ( Capture 5 power cells before the opposing team captures any, in an Adventure mode Capture event. ) A PlayStation 2 game which has sadly not aged too well. Story was okay with humor and comedy, as was custom to the Jak and Daxter series. A now deceased Krew forces the entire gang to race against an entire group of criminals. The controls are simply like trying to control a jeep while you're sliding on butter. Whether it's my lack of skill and experience with racers in general or just the game having crappy controls, I'll let you be the judge. I quickly found I was doing the same 5 - 10 type of races and events every single time for the cup, and since there are four cups you have to win, you do the math. Deathmatch was my favorite since it wasn't about racing and more about defeating your opponents to increase your score. Rush Hour was annoying. Some tracks were very difficult for me, resulting in over a hour's worth of attempts until I finally scored a Gold. There is far too much rubberbanding. The AI is relentless, and no matter how many times I was at #1 in races, I would be dead within 30 seconds, to suddenly be in 6th place. There is a certain weapon that is impossible to avoid without a shield, and it always targets the racer at #1. More often than not, that was me. It was good to see all the familiar characters in this game. I consider Jak X: Combat Racing to be the last game Naughty Dog truly cared about, as the franchise went straight down the toilet afterwards. It's a shame Jak & Daxter didn't have the support and longevity the Ratchet & Clank series has had, as that has gotten a lot more attention and care put towards the games. Maybe we can hope for a Jak & Daxter reboot. Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon got one, so it's only so fitting Jak & Daxter got the same treatment. I like that Naughty Dog made their own version of Mario Kart with Jak X. 14 years later however, it was simply a chore to get done. But with this completed, I have done all the games in the Jak and Daxter franchise. Platinum #213: Far Cry 4 (November 20th, 2019) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 23 Hours Hardest Trophy: Hardest Trophy: From A Distance ( Kill a target from 60m or more with an arrow or bolt (Campaign only) ) Had my moments of fun with Far Cry 4, but got bored a dozen hours in from the 'collectathon' Ubisoft likes to have in their games. Story was meh. Ajay Ghale didn't care half the time. The war between the Golden Path and the Royal Guard is basically the story in a nutshell. Visiting Shangri-La was quite interesting, I actually think the story would of been better if that was the main focus. Gameplay is pretty standard and basically what you expect from a Far Cry game. You liberate outposts and free radio towers. You do quests to help the Golden Path claim all of Kyrat. You can ride an elephant and kill Royal Guard soldiers with it. Sounds like a lot of fun at first, but after having played Far Cry Primal, it wasn't quite as great as riding a mammoth or saber tooth tiger. A few stand outs were using the wingsuit, being completely drugged and having to find your way back, and some of the weapons being absolutely fun to use. There's more I can talk about, but since I figured most of you guys here already know about this game, I don't need to say much. Standard fare. Not as great as other Ubisoft games I've played. I definitely prefer Assassins Creed over Far Cry, but that's just my opinion. Platinum #214: Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 (November 22nd, 2019) Difficulty: 5/10 Excitement Rating: 7/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 25 - 26 Hours Hardest Trophy: Hardest Trophy: Glitch in the System ( Encounter all 8 stage-affecting nightmare phenomena in a single playthrough of Mega Man X6. ) A definite mixed bag of sorts. If you guys want to hear my in-depth impression of these games, read my status update. I did not like the second half of the Mega Man X games as much as the first set. It's clear Capcom tried out a lot of ideas that may of sounded good on paper. Unfortunately most of those ideas were poorly executed, making for a rather frustrating experience with all four titles. I'm not exactly sure whether to rate this a 6 or 7 out of 10. As a big Mega Man fan I guess I'm sort of biased, but I can't rate this set of games any higher than those scores. X5 was okay but not great. X6 was infuriating with horrible level design coupled with a confusing story. X7 was the jump to 3-D but many sound ideas simply didn't work. X8 is perhaps the most 'polished', but it still suffered from bad level design which made half of the eight stages at the start a bit frustrating to go through. The story is pretty much the same throughout, with various characters taking up the spotlight while the real antagonist is doing the evil bidding behind the scenes. That is one of my major gripes with the Mega Man games. Since the old NES games, Capcom has taken a character who you may think is the actual antagonist. In the original series, Wily is behind the evil. In the X series, it is Sigma. I pretty much predicted these stories the moment I started played the games, and almost every time I was right on point. After eight Mega Man X games Capcom should of just done away with Sigma entirely. What I will note is Mega Man X8, the last in the series, actually has an antagonist who poses a threat, and isn't just another idiot being controlled by Sigma. Do I recommend this collection? That is completely up to you. But I definitely feel the first half (X1 thru X4) was a much more pleasurable experience that wasn't marred with glaring flaws and horrendous level design. Though I'm not surprised at the drop in quality considering the creator of Mega Man left after around X4 - X5. It's really too bad. I wonder if we're going to see another Mega Man X game, since the last one (X8) was released back in 2004. It's definitely been a long time. Popular Post ZitMeatloaf
#36 - Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection "Platinuminary" For me this was a nice mix of nostalgia and new experiences, as I had previously played maybe 25% of the games included with this collection. I never owned a Genesis/Mega Drive when I was a kid (I was a Nintendo fanboy through and through in the 80's and early 90's), so most of these games were new to me. A friend of mine owned a Genesis (we once traded systems for about a month so I could play his Genesis games and he could play my SNES games), and his game collection made up my entire Genesis gaming experience until now. Of the games new to me, some were really fun (Decap Attack, the Vectorman games), some were meh (ESWAT, Ristar), and a couple were absolutely awful (holy shit Flicky, you are one terrible game). Trophy wise this was a pretty simple list to work through, with Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine providing the biggest challenge. The long term value in this collection for me will be that I can finally play through all of the Phantasy Star games. Well, theoretically anyways, provided I actually find or make time to play those games amidst the backlog. But hey, at least the option's there now.

Popular Post Leon Castle
#159 Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered 2nd Dec 2019 The game based on the 2 first Ghostbusters movies and is in a way "The 3rd Movie". It's set Thanksgiving in 1991, two years after the events of Ghostbusters II. Then I found a Demo of it on PS Network on PS3 some years ago and liked the game from what the Demo let me play, I wanted it even if the game had a unobtainable plat. Then this year they remastered Ghostbusters: The Video Game and removed the online trophies. This game was just as fun as demo showed it to be.

Popular Post Viper
#178 Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Platinum Award Thank tap dancing Christ this is over with! Man, I remember loving this game on the PS2...but it has not aged well AT ALL. It was such a boring, repetitive slog all the way through...and having to do 3 playthroughs was 2 too much. I don't know, it's just not the game I remember it to be....this was a bad case of nostalgia goggles. I bought these wanting that nostalgia...but I don't think I even want to touch MUA2 at this point, I have that on PS3 and remember only playing it once and that was enough...so I'm not sure I should even bother with the PS4 version.I also recall being kinda pissed that Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3 was a Switch exclusive...but if it's more of the same, then maybe I lucked out on that. I also know I used to like X-Men Legends 1 and 2 more than MUA...but it might be a good thing that those never got the port treatment. It's coming off like I hated this...and I didn't. It just loses any charm is has very quickly, and you kind of stop caring half way through...only to realize you still have to play it 2 more times. If anyone is thinking of playing this though...a little tip...Nightcrawler is your best friend in this game. He's absolutely OP, even on Hard difficulty. His Sword Cyclone ability when powered up can be used indefinitely as long as you keep grabbing energy orbs, and it absolutely destroys enemies using the Age of Apocalypse attire including bosses. Couple this with the fact that he can go invisible...most enemies won't even know you're there. Edited December 3, 2019 by Viper

Popular Post flashpool23
#126 - Monster Energy Supercross So according to this, I'm a Supercross God and at first it felt like it but this game overstayed its welcome. But hey, with it being a free PS Plus game this month, there will likely be more than one Supercross God coming soon.

Jelly Soup
#111 - Obduction Entertaining with a fairly interesting story. Frustrating as hell at certain parts too. If you like Myst-like adventure games, this is a good pick.
Popular Post Copanele
No.72 : L.A. Noire (+100%,PS3) Platinum Name : Platinum Trophy Hardest Trophy : Shamus to the Stars - complete all story cases with a 5 stars rating Rarity : 11.36% (platinum) , 4.8% (100% completion) Difficulty : 2/10 with a guide for the cases, 5.5/10 without one Personal impression : 8/10 This game came as a surprise for me. I initially didn't pay much attention to it back in 2016. After deciding to clean up my backlog 3 years later, I reinstalled it and...wow what a great game! 1947's L.A. is a great setting, the story was on point and the gameplay although quite simplistic it was on point and got its job done. The face animation was abit creepy at times (I am sure I am not having a face spasm when I am lying but whatever) and the cases dragged on later in the game but overall it was a nice experience. Again, collectibles were a pain. Ironically, finding all the 95 cars was FUN, I only had troubles with the trash collector. Golden film reels however were annoying to get. I am glad that the music was so on point, else I would have been bored out of my mind. I do recommend this game if you are into Noir films and want to see "what would police do in a GTA game set after WW2"
Popular Post Angel
Nights of Azure Nights of Azure was a bit of a so-so game towards the beginning of my playthrough but ended up growing on me as the story unfolded, especially seeing the relationship between Arnice and Lilysse blossom. The gameplay though felt very empty to me as you are mostly going through small hallway like rooms, not much variety in combat which mostly results in button mashing, and lacking in monster growth potential. I did enjoy a bit more towards the end with gameplay due to having much more variety in equipment, skills and monsters but not enough to make me give it a replay any time soon. Platinum wise, it was a straight forward platinum with no missables but does have these atrocious filler trophies that require you to do a huge amount of kills, summonings, quests and so on that are unnecessary, especially in this game where it's quite restrictive with quests and no in game trackers. Wishing you my best on these last 2019 platinum! Time sure does go by very quick...too quick but as always, thank you for your time, my best wishes and Happy Holidays!
Popular Post Montyzu
Enjoyment: 3 | 10 Difficulty: 4 | 10 Time to platinum: ~55h Andromeda would have been a cool game if it didnt had the Mass Effect name on it. And the worst part is that it held to that name with all its strenght, there is barely anything new in ME:A, everything here is reused and/or renamed from the previously trilogy, and that is the major problem with this game, the story could have been taken in so many different directions especially without the need to worry about the repercutions of ME3 ending, but they decided to stay as close as they could to the original. After curing the Genophage you need to hear again that its causing problems, the Krogan themselfs are causing problem and have been casted aside, The Kett are Collectors, the Revenants are Proteans, the Charlatan is the Shadow Broker, Kadara is Omega, Nexus is the Citadel, the 4 Chiefs of Operations are the Council and so on. There is very little originality in ME Andromeda it hurts. They could have focus more on the colony aspect of the story, instead of being an elite soldier saving the galaxy again it would be a breath of fresh air to be a diplomat in a space wild west, making allies and building colonies. I think the developers failed to realize that games dont need a hero and a big bad evil guy to be interesting, the game could have been completely fine if Kets and Revenants were taken out of it. I probably got dozens of ideas for the game while I was playing it, to bad I didnt write them down. We could have encountered a pre-space civilization that we could choose to share tech to help them fight against Kett or starvation/disease but have a backlash from Drack and Tann because they know what happened when the Krogan were given tech by the Salarians. We could have encountered an AI race that is trying to keep their creators culture alive since they were extinct because [insert cosmic event here] but they are having problems because they lack the ability to be creative. This is just a couple ideas I could remember but there is just so much stuff and it makes me sad that they couldnt be bother to expend a couple hours to think about something new.
