Popular Post Piggie_Pie
#80 Dragon Quest Builders 2 7.5/10 I think I would have given it a much higher score if there wasn't so much boring storytelling. Some of the text you can't skip but it lingers on the screen for what seems like an eternity after you've been able to read it 3 or 4 times over. Other than that there were a couple times where it forces you to play through things where you aren't able to be creative at all or takes away your ability to do certain things or fight in general. Other that the things listed above, I loved the game enough to get the platinum... I am not much of a trophy hunter now days but this game was fun and creative and more often than not you get a lot of freedom. Post game is where you really get to do whatever you want.

Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #77 Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands When you are a trophy hunter, eventually you will look for games that you wouldnt play otherwise. I loved the Prince of Persia trilogy back on the PS2, the 2008 reboot is a fantastic game in all senses, but Forgotten Sands is just mediocre. The graphics are average. The combat is also average. You only attack with square, but you can hold the button to empower your attacks. But since the enemies telegraph their attacks all the time, and the game put them in big groups, you will spend most of the combat doing a few hits and dodging to a less crowded space. You have access to 4 elemental magics that are really useful in its on way, and they can help you if things get rough. They're really overpowered when maxed. I advise you to max stone armor as soon as possible, not only for certain trophies, but because, to me, this is the best of the four. There are two things that this game do very well: the puzzles and the plataforming sequences. The majority of the puzzles are really easy and you will solve on the fly, but there are a couple that are challenging. I miss when games had puzzles, they're really rare nowadays. The plataforming sequences are really fun. At first they're simple, but they get more and more complex over time. Coupled with magics that the Prince learn during his adventure, you will need to have quick fingers. And unlike the combat, the Prince movements are really fluid. During combat not only the Prince, but the monsters are really clunky, it's a pain to the eyes. The trophies are not hard. There are many miscellaneous trophy that you can tackle early on. Using the Stone Armor strategy make both no damage trophies really easy. And the low AI of the enemies makes defeating 50 enemies without being hit also easy. The other trophies are story ones, tied to buying and killing 50 enemies with magics, and something that hardly can be called a challenge. In the end, my opinion is the same from years ago, when this game was still new: this entry is mediocre, far worse than the other Prince of Persia games. I'm glad that this game was forgotten on the sands of time, but it's a shame that a franchise so good, so iconic, has been forgotten for so long, and that this is the last title released. Seeing so many franchises being succesfully revived on later years, one can only hope to see a new and good PoP game in the near future. I advise this game only if you're a hardcore fan of PoP, or if you want a short platinum. The game is not bad, just doesnt fit the level of the other Prince of Persia games.
Popular Post madbuk
#346 - Batman: Arkham Origins This game is pretty underrated. I'd say it's on par with City, honestly. The side quests are about as generic and the main plot if anything is even better. It also only has 200 or so tedious collectibles instead of over 400. The performance of it wasn't great, but it's a PS3 game and for years I've only played Arkham on PS4 so I think giving it some leeway in terms of how it performs is reasonable. It took quite a while for me to readjust to PS3 Arkham, but once I did I began to really enjoy this a lot. The game introduces some fun new tools for predator encounters like the rope launcher, and the predator challenges themselves weren't anywhere near as obscure or specific as the ones in City which I appreciated a lot. The combat was mostly the same but with the addition of shock gloves, which were fun. They're a bit overpowered but they're also on a cooldown timer so it balances out imo. The open world wasn't anywhere near as tedious to travel through either because this game actually features fast travel, and isn't shaped like one big U like City was. I wish I had the advanced grappel from Knight though lol. The MP was fine in concept, not so much in execution. I can see what they were trying to do - turn regular predator encounters from the main game into multiplayer by having most of the players be the goons and two people be the predators (Batman/Robin) but that wouldn't be very interesting for the goons so they had to introduce another goon faction, and you're too busy capturing bases and fighting off the opposing faction to effectively keep an eye out for Batman/Robin. I'm definitely interested in what the next Arkham game from this team will be like, hopefully a lot more polished.
Popular Post Cave Johnson
Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland Atelier Lulua Acquired all trophies. For a sequel that never needed to exist, Atelier Lulua is actually a pretty good game. If anything, it deserves to be its own game rather than a shoehorned sequel to the Arland trilogy. I wouldn't be surprised if Atelier Lulua originally was a standalone idea or was scrapped at some point. Then, for whatever reason Gust deemed necessary, it was reworked to be a sequel to Arland. At first, I thought Gust was playing it incredibly safe by going back to something familiar. However, not long after that they released Atelier Ryza, which is a completely different direction for the series. So, what the hell is Gust doing? I have no idea. Given the apparent success of Ryza, I don't think we'll be seeing Arland 5 anytime soon. Maybe it'll come out another decade from now when they've run out of ideas.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#420- Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Champion of Champions Obtained all trophies. KYC Review. To sum that up, it's an okay game, but a very long and boring grind for the Plat. Even when not using the MTU trick to find A.I. opponents, the matchmaking takes forever. It may be shorter, but it's still not quick. My theory is it's trying to find two full teams, and there are just not that many players. Saw the same people a lot. I uploaded a video to show just what you'll be doing for the majority of the Plat. And that's when things go right, and the A.I. doesn't camp in the circle, preventing you from damaging the core. Or attacking you, so you can't sit and spam. Matches can easily take 2-3 times longer, and you have to complete hundreds (if not thousands) of them. And something I keep forgetting to mention, is that the newer games only have one representative (not counting DLC). 1-10? Two characters each. 11-15? One.. Most of the time, it's the hero and villain of the story. And while I wouldn't have wanted to see Ardyn again (could have used Gladeo, like FFIV used Kain), it feels like the newer games got the shaft. Popular Post Metal
The Order 1886 - #5 Thoroughly enjoyed this. My first PlayStation Exclusive. My expectations were not super high as I knew the game had a somewhat mixed reception. Got to be honest though, it far exceeded my expectations and has left me sat here wanting two things: I definitely want a sequal! Really hope there's one in the works! I also really want to play some of the bigger Exclusives. Albeit a short game, the quality is fantastic and far exceeds most of the games I've played on Xbox this generation. That being said, I really do dig the setting in this game and there hasn't been anything else quite like it on offer.
Popular Post Bezenko
#95 - Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist While not a huge accomplishment in itself, rather straightforward and easy enough, I'm a completionist and this marks the first time I'm at 100% since October 2016. Held back for years by overpriced DLCs (Rock Band 4, AC: Origins), starting up games and leaving them with the MP completed and recently the massive grind in Red Dead 2. Actually while typing this, I just realized it's been almost exactly half the lifespan of my account since I was at 100%. I'd had my account for 1153 days when RB4 DLC was added and ruined my 100%, this was 1145 days ago today! Anyway, really enjoyable game and fun list! Hope they release a new Splinter Cell game soon.

Popular Post TazDevilz1986
SkyScrappers # 403 (November 13th, 2019) Masterful Obtain all other trophies Got this through PS Now using the 7 day trial. Straight forward game but nothing special. Clockwork Tales Of Glass and Ink # 404 (November 14th, 2019) Platinum Unlock every Trophy. Same thing as above. Got this from PS Now using the 7 day trial. Was a OK game. Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion # 405 (November 22nd, 2019) Pirates of the Enchiridion Collect all trophies Also from PS Now using the 7 day trial. I really enjoyed this one, and it's a fun platinum to go for. Seasons After Fall # 406 (November 22th, 2019) Master of seasons Unlock all trophies for "Seasons after Fall". Another PS Now game i knocked out before the trial expired. But this was a good game, i was really confused in the beginning where to go. But it got easier later on. I still have a bunch of others i wanna do from PS Now, but i might do that soon. Terminator Resistance # 407 (December 3rd, 2019) No problemo Acquire all the trophies. I got this for a quik rent. Overall enjoyable game for a movie title. Nothing was difficult, atleast from my memory back in the day when i did Terminator Salvation on my old account, this one is way better. Realm Royale # 408 (December 5th, 2019) Your Royal Eggsellence Earn all trophies in the game. And finally the last plat i earned yesterday. I always wanted to see what this game was all about, and it turned to be not that good. Constantly freezes and connection drops. But luckily it gets fixed after a while. I teamed up with pinkrobot_pb, jarethgeason, TRQX2K11. I wanna thank them to team up with me and for a couple trophies we did together. This game is extremely easy. Especially if you turn off the Crossplay mode in the gameplay settings. So that way only PS4 players will connect. And there aren't many PS4 players at all, you will see maybe a couple randoms here and there. I always signed up on the Australia server, because i always had zero randoms in that server when i was playing around evening times. So you can VS AI nice and easy. That's what makes this platinum really easy. A few trophies we ended up boosting, such as chicken a player from 800 feet away, no player lost of a team of 4, and a few more others. I always wanted to know what the difficulty was for this game, but atleast i find out now that it wasn't that difficult to achieve. So if you looking for a free platinum. This one is the way to go.
Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #84 - Spyro the Dragon Gnasty's Demise, 52.93% Rarity Difficulty - 3/10 , Time Spent - ~12 Hours , Enjoyment 8/10 Everyone's favorite Purple Dragon is on a mission to free dragons and treasure after being put under a curse by the evil Gnasty Gnorc. When I picked up the game, I was worried that this might have been something that I only remembered as being a fun, good game (and 8-year-old me had much lower expectations), but it turns out that it wasn't just "nostalgia glasses" that made me feel like it was good. It truly is a greatly enjoyable game, and I think even a first-timer would feel that way. This is also a prime example of what a remaster should be like-- greatly updated graphics, few (if any) changes to the content, glitch-free (or at least I didn't encounter any), and smooth controls/gameplay. Not that I can clearly remember what the original was like as I haven't played it for two decades, but this remaster definitely feels like the game was released for the PS4. Nothing about the game was terribly challenging. All the collectibles were easily found thanks to Sparx's treasure detection, and even "hidden" parts of levels weren't too hard to find thanks to the map (which I think was added for the remaster, but not 100% sure). You can definitely tell that this is a children's game from the ease that you can defeat enemies-- basically you just watch them for a couple seconds to see what their attack is like, and then you flame/charge them, and most of them are non-aggressive attackers that will only lash out once you get close (but usually don't attack quickly enough before you get a flame out). Some parts of the game do take a bit of skill, particularly when it comes to accessing the secret parts of the map through the use of the supercharge ramps.... and the dreaded flying levels. Oh how I hated those... you basically have to perfectly execute a speedway-type level in order to get all that level's treasure, and it isn't a cakewalk; definitely took me at least 10 tries per level to get it right, and probably 40 attempts for my most trying level. Overall, great game. I'm excited to play #2, which is one that I didn't get a chance to play as a child.
Popular Post Redgrave
#163: Greatest of Great Deliverers - Death Stranding After there being hardly any info on the game even before release such as what it's about or what the story even was and myself being disappointed with The Phantom Pain prior, I was cautious about this game but I really did want it to be good, and sure enough I wound up liking it a lot more than I expected day one of playing it. The setting and the mood of the game grabbed me really quickly, especially with the music choices that play when walking around during calm moments. And the story while weird kept me interested and I didn't feel lost even at the end. I'm really glad to say it delivered especially after waiting for so long. It's really unfortunate that it gets quickly dismissed as a walking simulator when there clearly is more to it than that. Sure walking plays a big part but I don't see how some people don't notice or brush off the whole thing about building bridges with other people reflected in both the online and the facilities/shelters you deliver to. But I digress since I think it's easier to just experience it than have someone explain it. I will definitely look back at this game fondly and I kind of hope it does get DLC so I can play it again but I doubt it will. It was fun building structures for my fellow Porters and I hope that the ones I left behind will be helpful since I did try to put them in good spots as best I could. But with the online component, it really can be said that the true Death Stranding were the friends we made along the way.

Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #361 - Rainbow Moon Official Rainbow Moon Hero Obtain all other trophies to unlock the platinum trophy I've been having fun making fun of this game in my status recently, but make no mistake - I really do hate this game. As a strategy RPG, it is among the poorest I've ever played (possibly only bottomed out by Record of Agarest War Zero, which I never finished). I understand that it's a bit unfair to compare an indie outing with greats like Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics, or my personal favorite, Vandal Hearts, but honestly, I can't help it. The SRPG has seen numerous great entries. This is no Vandal Hearts, but neither is it even a Suikoden Tactics. Or a Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Moon. In fact, it doesn't even sniff at somewhat mediocre titles like Saiyuki: Journey West. The original Ogre Battle, with all of its warts, is still better than this game, and that came out literally decades ago. The biggest problem is that the game feels like freemium nonsense. It's only real goal is to get you to play...longer. It doesn't try to get better. It doesn't add new wrinkles. It is just a long game. The main story campaign is a fetch quest slog. Most of the fetch quests (and their outcomes) make little sense to the main goal, other than the fact that you're told "Maybe this item will help you leave Rainbow Moon". I remember one character (who ultimately joined my party) had me fetch stuff for him, clean up his house, and then...attacked me... ... ...oh, but I'm repeating myself. You are more than welcome to read my rant here. Honestly, I could go on for another page. Thank God it's over. I do want to mention one thing, though: imagine if someone said that if you helped him, he would give you a map of a foreign land. After you help him, he gives you a blank page that you're supposed to fill out yourself. That actually happens in Rainbow Moon. Popular Post Saligun60
#92 NieR automata Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 I think i'm in the minority who don't like this game. Maybe i'm waiting a lot in this game because i've love so much NieR on Ps3. The two best points of this game is his OST and is univers/graphism. But the rest is a big deception for me. The character is beautiful (I love 2B ?) but without charisma. The storyline doesn't be remarkable. The PNJ the same. This game isn't bad but regarding the first masterpiece NieR on Ps3, this game is really underneath !
