Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #51 Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered Wizardry Whiz Current rarity: 11.80% Enjoyment: 10/10 I'm a two-time Wizardry Whiz! Ni No Kuni is one of my all time faves. Writing exactly what I love about it could span several dozen pages, so I'll cut it short (though I would like to sit down and write up a proper review one day) - it's the innocence that sticks with me. Video games are a form of escapism, and in today's world of profanity, debauchery, hate, and greed, nothing whisks me away from it all like little Oliver wearing his suspenders with his pants rolled up too high, saying things like 'Gee whiz' and 'Gosh'. He's too good and innocent to even hold contempt for his enemies. Special shout-out to Mr.Drippy, my favorite NPC. He's unrefined and hilarious. I often stopped randomly to interact with him, just to see what he had to say. 'Proper knackered', he was, or 'There's tidy' when things were going well. The Britishisms floored me. Between him and that guy who frequently loses his diary and calls me 'old stick' there's a ton of fun to be had. Whenever this game gets a new trophy list, for whatever reason, I'll be picking it up on launch day and reliving a world of magic and the pure-hearted one (the real magic). I hope we get a NNK3, and I hope it's a direct sequel to this one. I want an older Oliver, perhaps married with a daughter, a boatload of new Familiars, and Mr.Drippy tagging along as the world gets saved all over again. Proper adventure, that. Popular Post Masamune
Monster Monpiece Master Obtained all the trophies! Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Playtime: 30:56:00 (1 week, 1 day, 5 hours) Screenshot (taken with phone since this game blocks all screenshots, so the quality is crap ?): Spoiler I could've picked a better game for my 150th plat, but it's one I never thought I'd get because of the multiplayer trophies, so I'm happy enough with it (& who doesn't love monster girls?). Doing the multiplayer stuff first is a must too, by the time I did the 100 matches, I had enough money/Rub P to last the entire game (& I also got some real nice cards out of it too). I did the whole game just using a solid red deck too, two of the cards I got the most use out of were Basilisk (melee fighter capable of having Hypersonic, Counter, & Regen), & Koropokkuru (healer capable of having Counter, & MP Regen)... get a fused Basilisk with a healer behind her on the field, & you're pretty much guaranteed to score a point (Counter is overpowered in this game, at least up to post-game). The game does start to get a little old after a while though (I remember this from the first time I played it), mainly towards to end of the game where enemies start getting better cards, & the battles get longer. But in post-game it gets even worse, the enemies start with extra mana/health, & have some pretty OP cards... I didn't visit any of the extra locations there for loot & just darted straight for the end, & even that got a little tedious. ? The trophies in the game are easy as long as you have a way to boost the multiplayer ones. The main one you need to watch out for is getting 500 cards (around half of the total, some of that may be DLC though), but I was working on that since I started (upgrading every new card got) & got it just as I hit post-game, otherwise it probably would've took some farming to earn. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#295 - Rise of the Tomb Raider Platinum You unlocked every trophy in the game That's all 125 trophies in this game earned! Since I technically started this game about a year ago now, it felt really good earning the rest of those trophies because it boosted my overall completion quite a bit while also helping to reduce my unearned trophy count. As for the game itself, I thought it was very good, just unremarkable. Still, I enjoyed my time with the game, and I'm sure I'll play the next one in the trilogy at some point in the future. The only part of the journey to 100% I got frustrated at was the score attack mode. It's basically a 2nd playthough, only with a timer, score multiplier, and various buffs/debuffs you can equip. Now it usually wasn't that difficult to earn a gold medal on any given level, but this kind of mode really isn't suited for a game like this. To make it easier to get a high enough score for the gold medal, you often need to equip the debuff that makes you restart the whole level over if you die, and this really doesn't mix well with a lot of the platforming. There were maybe a half dozen times in total where I was doing really well and getting close to the end, but Lara just decides not to grab onto a ledge, or something else wonky happens, making you do it all over again. The game even froze for me once when I was literally about 5 seconds away from the end... Not my idea of fun. I liked everything else, though.

Who on earth believe a stock car can score a goal from his own half or score some acrobatic goal and rocket the car high enough to hit a aerial ball or accidentally score an own goal and I can't believe all work perfectly for a video games. Unfortunately, I'm a Sunday league player that can't master those advance technique, like flying high into the air and stay there long enough to "kiss" the ball. Kudos to the developers for constantly update the content every season or festival period and continuously fixing the bugs every now and there. Credits also go to @iMichal9 for the help on Barras-Bravas and also lending me a fully upgraded certificate item to pop my DLC trophy. And thanks to Playstation for handing out free to Plus subscribers on July 2015. Apparently all paid DLC will be FREE for everyone soon. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#262: King of Everything Eh, it was alright. On the one hand, it's as of right now the golden standard for re-releases; behind the scene extras including altered and abandoned content, playable trade-show demos, and a wide collection of console versions, handheld versions, AND a Final Mix-esque cut that tweaks all the problems of the original release, it's all things I wish.... well, EVERY collection would do. On the other, it seems like they didn't go all the way, because a good chunk of these unique and amazing special features are only for one game, Aladdin. Lion King has a few behind the scenes vids and the default console handheld versions, but nothing else. But still, I am interested if the devs will do anymore of these collections, and more importantly, go the extra mile the way they did for Aladdin. #263: Platinum Trophy Another platinum from my very first account re-earned! It was ALOT easier than I remembered, too. Now, I don't remember it being hard, but for some reason, my brain remembered it being tedious, boring, and like it would never end. And yet, here it is, clocking in at only 5 hours, and it was an simple enjoyable experience. I don't know what I was thinking of then, but hey, here it is.

Playing with randoms are hit or miss and in my case, it was mostly miss. Luckily, I got my brother to play with but for the post-game grinding part, he just couldn't take it anymore and I had to do it all on my own. And what's up with the bad match making in this game? I got connected to a specific random almost the entire day every time, and I always got kicked from his/her session lol. Can't I just choose from a list of available sessions instead of being randomly connected to someone who doesn't even want me in his game? Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#130 Dead Nation +100% (Ps3) I started with the Ps3 version. Despite being a fairly old game, I never played it before. Reading here and there I noticed how there are praises and criticisms, even rather exaggerated. I enjoyed playing the game and I consider this version the most balanced. I played the coop with a second controller. Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10 #131 Dead Nation +100% (PsVita) The PsVita version is simpler since the enemies for each level are almost halved. Being simpler, however, does not necessarily mean being more fun. In fact, some trophies require much more grind (Genocidiary) or are slightly more complicated to achieve (Combo Master & Keep it Up). Coop done with a second PsVita via Ad-Hoc mode. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10 #132 Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition (Ps4) Lastly, the Ps4 version. Honestly I think this one is the most difficult of the 3. Obviously I speak of Grim mode and above. The enemies here are much faster, have much more stamina and are generally more aggressive. Here I played the coop online. Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10
Popular Post DeathNyx
Bound by Flame (PS4) Platinum N°85: Platinum Trophy Win all of the trophies in Bound by Flame. Game enjoyment: 5.5 - 6 Trophies enjoyment: 6 Trophies difficulty: 4 - 4.5 Comment: The usual low budget/unknown western rpg with a Risen/Two Worlds II vibe apart from not being an open world. I've an unusual weakspot for these kind of low budget western rpgs but still, BbF didn't manage to surprise me that much due to being really short (storywise), poor character creator options (which is one of the things i love the most in gaming especially rpgs), poor companions background story with bad romance options/scenes. Gameplay is fun and also the platinum is easy and fun to add in own collection. A wasted potential good rpg.
Popular Post Viper
#179 Monster Energy Supercross Supercross God Something about Milestones weird racing games...leaves you with mixed emotions. On one hand...it's a Milestone racer...they're not very good. Milestone is a developer who takes some of the most niche extreme racing sports and makes a video game about them, and while they generally work on a technical level...they're the farthest thing from a AAA sports title that you can get...and because of that these games have strange learning curves, it'll piss you off, it'll make you curse at your TV and you'll be left wondering why you keep putting yourself through their games. But on the other hand...there's this weird hold the game has on you. You probably don't like what you're playing, yet...you can't really put it down either. Especially as a trophy hunter...knowing the Platinum isn't hard so you tell yourself "fine, one more race".So yeah...the game isn't very good, but it's competent enough to get some kind of enjoyment out of it. It's an easy Plat once you get the hang of (you'll be crashing like crazy when you first start). But not easy enough...what I mean is, you can play the entire game with "Very Easy" AI difficulty...in my mind, if you're pushing a difficulty level lower than your run of the mill "Easy"..then that should be the "no competition what-so-ever" difficulty. But really the AI is psychotic at times even on this difficulty. There's so many times where the AI can just swipe your bike out from under you...but you can't really do the same to them,For anyone playing in the future...I did create a track for the 300 miles driven trophy. Just search for "Inexhaustable 2". It's a no frills rectangle to just get your mileage up. Also there were issues with the online servers the first couple of days...they're up for now, but seem to be finicky, so if you're planning on playing this...you might want to get the online stuff out of the way while you can.
Popular Post Atoya
#20. SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS How I Spent My Summer Vacation. Honestly this was longer than I thought it would be, after beating the story and started with side missions it became boring very quickly, there’s like 25+ characters (I’m not sure about the number) and every character has 5 side missions that you have to finish which is really boring because some of the characters are absolute trash and it takes more time to kill bosses with them, so after I did that I was encountered by a new surprise and it’s called creative finishers which is basically getting these underaged girls naked in every way you can possibly think of LoL, this wasn’t a bad game but he platinum had some bs trophies along the way, if your into hentai you’ll love every minute of it. Enjoyment: 5.5/10 diffculty: 3/10 time to platinum: 35+ hours

Popular Post SnakeonaBoat
#18: The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 Master of Unwritten Tales Thank God for walkthroughs and trophy guides, cause there's zero chance my ass gets through a game like this normally without getting crazy frustrated. Didn't really have any emotional attachment to the story or characters, though I suppose it's hardly the game's fault that my first game in the series is a sequel, and the game did a good enough job of bringing me up to speed. A few parts here and there surprised me, but most everything else seemed to play out as I expected from first impressions. Of course, predictability isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I generally don't expect much to stand out or be memorable to me when looking back. Humor had it's highs and lows. The reference humor especially, started off as a highlight but definitely hit a point of diminishing returns as it seemed to replace actual comedic writing and possibly even influenced plot points. Like, maybe I'm wrong and I'm sure it wouldn't have been the sole reason to do it, but it sure did feel like they wrote the ending the way they did just to allude to The Empire Strikes Back. The fourth wall breaking bits were usually pretty fun though, especially the time travel sidequest, which was probably my favorite part of the game. Tough for me to speak on the gameplay when I so heavily used the guide. I'd be so lost without it. Do wish they let me use fast travel in more parts of the game, that and the huge amount of loading screens you'll have to go through dragged the pace down hard. That said, the trial-and-error gameplay and slow pace might all just be part of the genre, and I lack the patience for that type of thing. Overall, an okay game I don't regret my time with, but I'm not all that interested in an Unwritten Tales 3 unless it also shows up on PS Plus as an easy plat.
Popular Post NorbR338055
#39 - Gris Difficulty: 1.5/10 (just for the damn eel) Enjoyment: 8/10 Screenshot: Spoiler One of the most beautiful games of the year for sure. Visually and musically, this game is stunning all around. The levels are quite varied and yet each one is more beautiful than the next, to the point that I couldn't tell which one was my favorite. Each level is truly dense, with a fairly convoluted design, yet everything is cleverly drawn so it's easy to navigate. The game is fairly short, about 4 hours for the whole thing. There are some tricky trophies for the platinum, so it would be hard to get it on the first go without a guide, and as usual I strongly recommend doing a first blind playthrough to really enjoy the game. Then pull out a guide to catch up on what you missed (there is chapter select, and collectibles are individually tracked, so it's fairly easy to go back). The platforming is nice enough, but there is no real challenge to this game. Some interesting puzzles and exploration areas in the last chapter. But overall, this is a game to relax, grab a controller, put on your headphone, and enjoy the experience.
