Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#279-Spyro the Dragon So anyone that knows me knows I am a huge Insomniac fan...but my dirty little secret is I have never played the Spyro games I mean I platted Skylanders...but that just makes it more embarrassing. Well anyways I have now corrected that huge faux pas and I can honestly say...the game was good but seemed off. Now I don't know if that was because of Activsion or because Insomniac hadn't mastered their stuff yet. The humour and fun characters are still there (so I know Insomniac did that correctly) but the dash was annoying to aim and the flying seemed wonky. Also after playing Ratchet/Resistance/Fuse/Spider-Man I am used to powering up in Insomniac games so I was hoping that kind of thing would be here (better flame, faster dash, faster flying etc) but alas not to be So anyways still a fun game, but I don't have the nostalgia glasses to make me look past the flaws.

Popular Post Sora9427
Platinum Trophy N.152 - Digimon's Story: Cyber Sleuth Perfect SleuthAcquired All Trophies AH; Finally got myself the Digimon Plat i wanted :3 I Simply Love Digimon! I always loved it sinc ei was a child and liked it more than Pokèmon honestly. I had Digimon world i think 3 on Ps1 and boy i remember spending days and days on that, so much fun! So Obviously i was super happy when finally the Digimon franchise got back on Vita & Ps4 I'm Soo happy to have gotten this plat for that reason, this game is awesome! A Wonderful Turn based Rpg, such a rare thing nowadays with almost all RPGs being atcion ones, with an Amazing Story that kept getting better and better up 'til the end I Absolutely loved it! I started it back on Vita 3 years ago to arrive only at chapter 3 and getting back to it only 2 years later almost on Ps4 but boy then i got hooked up! The story as said is wonderful, i wanted to always know what will come and evolve my team was such fun :3 The game mostly revolves around Digimon from Adventure, Tamers & Savers too which are absolutely the best Digimon Anime there are! I Still have to watch Savers but i'm surely interested in it, especially after seeing some Digimon and their Burst modes Anyway as said, great story, the Plat itself instead, Eh, I would lie saying it's not boring; The End game side quest are super fun, they make you fight against really strong Digimons coming from movies or the Series themself and so for that i'm glad (I actually finished the Free DLCs quests for curiosity and fun after the Plat), but the Medals? Ugh. The Gatcha, the Black agumon and Blu Metalgreymon Cases all this is bascially RNG based and i hate RNG based trophies so it was pretty annoying, at least i could do that Remote-Playing on Vita while watching Videos/Sream or that would have been sooo boring!!! That is literally my only problem with the well, Trophies i guess more than the game itself. Can't wait to start Hacker's Memory! I'm gonna get it this coming week since it's on sale so i'll probably start if in January to start the Year with a great JRPG Especially since i saw that this oen won't have any Medal releated trophy I'll update this post with my Last Team maybe, i have to get the Screenshot on the Ps4. PS: I really don't understand why Bandai delisted such a wonderful game from the PSN, the DLCs too Edited December 21, 2019 by Sora9427

Some trials took a few attempts but it wasn't too bad. The grind to get 12 bikes to level 15 was boring and tedious. ? Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#135 God of War (PS3) A real dive into the past. I played the first God of War many years ago and I remember that I liked it immediately. Replaying it after all this time, made me go back to the PS2 era ... I think it's useless to say how the game is because I believe that most players already know it. Since there's a trophy where you have to die enough times (5 to be exact) to get offered the easy mode, it basically makes GoW pretty easy. Challenge n. 10 was the one that made me try and try again several times, until I watched on youtube a strategy: Come on Kratos, it's not time to give up yet Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10 # 136 God of War (PsVita) Basically the same things said above, with a couple of exceptions. One because of the typical PsVita problems: tiny buttons, small screen, faster game speed, higher precision etc. On the other hand, the biggest difference was in challenge no. 10. I tried to implement the same strategy of the video above, without success. I had to counterattack with L1 and press square to get rid off (or almost) of satyrs and dogs. After around 15 attempts, I succeeded. Enjoyment: 8.0/10 Difficulty: 4.5/10 Edited December 22, 2019 by X_Wizi_X

Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #80 inFamous 2 I think inFamous is well known enough among Playstation owners, so I dont need to say anything about the series. I advise you to tackle the miscellaneous trophies asap, so you dont have to worry about them. Raising both karmas to max isnt hard, and if you do all sidequests you dont need to worry about exp either. I recommend you to gather the blast shards and dead drops while you're doing the main missions and side missions. Doing this I did only needed to go out of my way to get around 20. But dont worry, this time around you have a skill that show the closest shard on your minimap (but you will have to complete 60 sidequests first though). I had more trouble with the dead drops. I had to use a map online to find the last 5. This installment is an improvement to the first game, and I dont know how controversial this, but I had way more fun plaything Second Son, although the story, mainly the endings of the second game, were way more insteresting to me.

Popular Post Redgrave
#167: All Evidence Collected - The Sinking City I wasn't really sure what to expect from this but I have wanted to play a game based off HP Lovecraft's works and I was pleasantly surprised by this despite the janky combat. The game does pretty well with the tone and atmosphere of the setting. The town of Oakmont was worn down, trashy, grimy, and in some places slimy and I feel like even if it weren't flooded it wouldn't be all that much different. It certainly felt like a run down 1910's fishing town, so there was a lot of care put in to those details. Then you have the people of Oakmont. There's probably only a few genuinely good people in the town while the rest are scumbags with ulterior motives or just people that aren't much better than the monsters running around town. And the funny thing is some of the trophies in the game require you to screw over the good people in some way and I felt bad when I did it. Thankfully I could reload a save for a couple of them. The quests in general also have some kind of morally ambiguous ending to them and I felt like it was done really well. Throughout most of the quests I often tried to make the final decisions based on what was considered the lesser of two evils and I really appreciate the game doing that since it feels like it's been a while since I've played a game that has it's quests outlined like that. The only real bad thing I can say about the game is the combat is really janky but after a while I wound up tolerating it. Granted a part of that is probably because I played on Easy where enemies weren't too big of a deal (they still did a lot of damage sometimes) and I tried to save up ammo as best I could. So yeah I wound up really liking this game and if Frogwares can do another one like it and fix the combat I would definitely be down to play it.

Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #48 - Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal Difficulty Rating 3/10 Enjoyment Rating 6/10 Uncommon - 45.36% It would seem at the rate things are going, I’m gonna have all the Senran Kagura games completed at some point. I know I said Peach Beach Splash was my next destination in the series, but then I found Burst Re:Newal for dirt cheap on Black Friday Considering it’s the origin story, it felt only right that I got this one out of the way first. Burst Re:Newal is a full 3D remake of Senran Kagura Burst on 3DS, but it’s more or less pretty much the same exact thing as Shinovi Versus as far as gameplay goes. Lots of areas and models from past games have been recycled in order to bring this remake to life, with the only major difference being the story really. This series doesn’t have a boring story, but it’s presentation is something to be desired. In a high octane hack and slash, you want to see more in-game engine cutscenes... but instead you’re constantly treated to a wall of text (much like right here ) in order for the game to tell it’s narrative. Usually a scenic background accompanies that text and you may even get a unique illustration that matches the situation.. but they’re too little in between. With it’s recycled assets and poor presentation, it leads me to believe Tamsoft/Marvelous like to get away with spending the least amount of money they can. It’s freaking 2019, present your story better! Also, your fans much rather be looking at the girls than staring at a screen of white letters over a darkened background. I grew so tired of these “walls of text” that I started skipping those segments by the time I reached chapter 4 in the evil shinobi arc. The good shinobi are much more lovable in my humble yet well educated otaku opinion. As for the evil shinobi, they’re a bunch of uninteresting cookie cutter anime stereotypes. Homura: hot headed rival, Yomi: likes bean sprouts, Mirai: angry loli, Haruka: narcissistic cow, and Hikage: emotionless. Great characters, right? -.- Frankly, playing this game didn’t feel all that necessary, cause Shinovi Versus did a good job filling me in on all the past details. However, Estival Versus is not good at recapping anything, so keep that in mind. But if you’re interested in this series, I suppose you might as well start with Burst Re:Newal for it’s the first in the timeline. Platinum journey is super simple as you can see from the percentage. Beat every mission and collect all the hidden documents. If you can manage those two things, then I promise you the platinum will be obtained ? Truly, it’s that easy. Regarding best girl, I still stand by what I said before about Hibari being my favorite. She’s one of the more softer personalities in the series, a girl who doesn’t make violence a priority. Her buruma and track jacket just do it for me every time. I’m not sure how she stuffs her phat ass into those bottoms, but bless her precious heart for always accomplishing the impossible ? She has the best smile out of all the girls, however, I will give an honorable mention to every perverted smirk Katsuragi has ever made While Burst Re:Newal is not my favorite in the series, it’s a perfect start for those who are interested in getting started with the franchise. Just note that they get a little better with each chronological installment. If you find this one for $15 or less, it’s worth that much and should keep you busy for a weekend ?

Popular Post Carol
#175 Assassin's Creed Chronicles (Vita) Master Assassin Earn every trophy in Assassin's Creed® Chronicles I think this game was the last big Western game to be released for the Vita and I thank Ubisoft so much for it! I bought it as soon as it was released and I loved it so much, that ever since I've been dreaming of making it a milestone. I know that people usually underestimate this trilogy and tend to consider it minor in comparison to the main AC games, but I just can't agree with this. I think these games are absolutely brilliant! The gameplay mechanics are innovative and fun, the stealth is incredibly rewarding (passing a section completely undetected can be chilling), the art is beautiful, the stories and characters are interesting... Wow, how much I love these AC games! Trophy-wise, the platinum is rather demanding. Both in the China and India episodes, you need to complete each mission in a perfect stealthy way (or with the fastest time, for the timed memories); for the Russia episode, this isn't necessary, but you do need to complete it in the hardest mode, without alerting any enemy. Overall, I think this is a 6/10 platinum. The enjoyment was immense!

Popular Post Desmuria
Oh boy! Here we go again! I went digging through my extensive library and found these games buried. Not going to lie, I forgot I even purchased some of them! Oops! #241 - Dreamwalker: Never Fall Asleep Platinum Unlock every Trophy. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 1/10 Right off the bat, this was not in my backlog. I always purchase Artifex Mundi games when they're released. After the bad experience I've had recently with Queen's Quest 4 and Path of Sin: Greed, this was a breath of fresh air. Definitely one of the easiest Artifex Mundi games to platinum, because you can play on casual and there's no Triple Luck trophy. The only trophy that sorta had me on edge was the Precise Targeting one, but there are three very easy HOPs at the very end of the game. The story is pretty unique compared to their other offerings and I enjoyed delving into the subconscious minds of the NPCs. I'm an absolute sucker for these games and I'll continue to buy and play them as long as they release them for PS4. #242 - The Mooseman The Mooseman Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Not going to lie, I'd never heard of the Russian Perm tribe before I played this game, but I'm going to have a read about it now. In this game, you play as The Mooseman who embarks on a journey through the three layers of the universe he controls. There is light puzzling involved, which is super simple once you know what to do. However, and it's a big "however", to get the platinum you need to collect artifacts and some of them are ridiculous to obtain. Some require you to put in a super fast button combo and sometimes the game doesn't register properly. Therefore, I spent most of my time spamming the buttons and praying for the best. My method (mostly) worked. Beyond that, the art style is gorgeous and the score is beautiful and moving. Technically, it's not the best designed game ever. Visually, it's absolutely stunning. #243 & #244 - Tic-Tac-Letters by POWGI A Strange Game Collect all the trophies Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Another decent offering by POWGI and definitely one of the easiest and less time-consuming to complete. You're offered a total of 120 puzzles, but you only need to complete 22 to get the platinum. Without a guide, I would increase the difficulty a little - I don't particularly these kinds of puzzles, so a guide was more than handy. One Word still reigns surpreme out of all the POWGI games, in my opinion. I also completed the new game, Word Maze (see below). #245 & #246 - Word Maze by POWGI A-maze-ing! Collect all the trophies Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 1/10 A brand new game from POWGI (not one that's been rotting in my backlog forever) and it's pretty fun! You don't need to complete all the puzzles offered, but it takes roughly two hours to earn the platinum. Each category contains six different puzzles and, upon completion of all six, you get a trophy. Unlike other POWGI games, there are no miscellaneous trophies to worry about. The puzzles aren't difficult at all and quite fun to suss out. #247 (+100%) - Bear With Me True Detective! You've collected all of the achievements and then some! Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 It's no secret that I love point-and-click adventure games and this one was on my radar since its release. I got the complete collection, which includes the three DLC episodes and completed those too. It's... okay. To be honest, compared to other games I've played, it's rather dull in comparison. The voice acting is monotone and the characters, particularly Ted, sound like they're bored most of the time. The character sluggishly walk everywhere and it takes forever to march them from one place to another. The inventory mechanics are a little flawed, but nothing you can't get used to. The noire-inspired monochrome aesthetic makes a change, but nothing about the gameplay makes up for lack of vibrance. I would definitely recommend waiting until this game is on sale if you're wanting to try this. It's decent, but it's not my cup of tea at all.
