Popular Post Sword
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order #5: A New Hope (Earn all trophies) Originally I never thought I would like this game that much. I wasn't quite sure what to expect going into this game, but now that I'm at the end, I must say this game has been an absolute joy to play. Reminds me of the Nintendo Gamecube era of games. You got the platforming... jumping... rope swinging. It's a complete solo game (thanks EA for showing us solo games are NOT dead). Cal Kestis is a great protagonist and very likeable. You have a cast of supporting characters, each with their own backstories and moral dilemmas that unfold as the story goes on. Unlike Rey, Cal starts off as a broken and defeated Jedi after Order 66. Throughout the game you rediscover yourself as the Jedi you were meant to be, ultimately facing your demons and finding that all hope is not lost in the galaxy! The game features amazing graphics, atmospheric music/ambient sounds. Lightsaber battles are great, though sometimes they seem cheap in a few areas, but those are rare and few between. The game does well at making you feel like a Jedi. You get to see your power expand throughout the game and unlocking new abilities puts a fresh perspective on how you view the game world and solve puzzles. The game features a myriad array of puzzles to solve from downright easy to extremely frustrating (but rewarding). To get the Plat, I did have to look at a walk through for one or two puzzles/collectibles, but overall it was an enjoyable experience. Trophies were not super grindy at all and ranged from story based trophies to collectable trophies, battle/ability related trophies and some fun misc trophies to complete. None of the trophies are missable and only 1 playthrough is required to get all the trophies. The game is extremely feedback friendly in terms of how many chests/secrets you've collected on a planet, even telling you BY LOCATION within each world how many chests/secrets you've unlocked in a particular area. One of the trophies is for traversing 100% of the game. Sure enough, just like the game informs you how many chests/secrets you've unlocked on a planet, it also tells you what % of the planet you've explored, down to the individual %'s within each area of a world. 10/10 experience in terms of trophy hunting.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#422- Shenmue II Now I Can Sleep That's it. No more Trophies. AHHH! So, so good. Blows the first game out of the water. Don't know if it improved much in the graphics department, but the world you get to play in is massive. They got rid of the forklifts, too. And the story is phenomenal. You can even get your Prompto on, and take pictures of everything in the game. Even during cutscenes you can take pictures. And with the world being as big as it is, maps were added to this installment. Just buy one, and a minimap for the area will always appear in the bottom of the screen. Can't find something? Just ask someone for directions. Some will even walk you to the place! Imagine if real life was that way. Lol. But this is just crazy how much these NPCs can do. Most games, they're just there. Maybe you can murder them. Here they give directions, information, or change whatever they're doing to lead you somewhere. Series continues to impress me. Not everything about it is great, unfortunately. They really overdid it on quicktime events in this installment. And you either need to know what button inputs are coming, or have godlike reflexes to do them. Thankfully, they are never randomized. It can still be annoying when they don't register/you didn't do it fast enough, though. Especially on the final boss, since failing a quicktime event after the fight, means doing the fight all. Over. Again. ._. And while forklifts are gone, we get more jobs with quicktime events.. Carrying crates with some other guy who shouts directions at you. "Leftleftleft!" "Rightright!" It's straight back with nothing in between; why even move left and right!? Carrying piles of books, which messing up quicktime events in costs you time. At least doing well in this gets you new moves. The money from crate carrying isn't worth it, thanks to gambling dens. So many new activities, more fighting, and a much bigger world. This is basically Shenmue 2.0. I had to break out the turbo for winning my 5th arm wrestling minigame. Lol. Really glad I have that thing, 'cause it is insane. The first four wins were bad enough, and gave me some arm pain. :/ But yeah, I think I love this series. It is super rare for me to play 2 installments of something in order, so it's saying something that I did so here. Platinum image: Spoiler Final trophy pops before the credits in this one. Weird, but fine with me.
Popular Post VoxAnimi
Platinum #31 plus 1337th obtained trophy: Notable Achievement from Infamous First Light Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I've been replaying the Infamous series to complete them in entirety for the first time on this profile, and I'm glad to say that I enjoyed this immensely despite already knowing the outcome of the events that occur. The game focuses on Fetch, one of the main characters from Second Son, and it depicts her journey after the revelation she experiences of becoming a Conduit. I liked how it tied to Second Son, and while only featuring one power, it still was a lot of fun to obliterate enemies with the neon ability. Trophy-wise, it's a pretty straightforward yet highly enjoyable platinum to obtain. The kill-related trophies can be easily achieved in the in-game challenge arenas and I found most of the challenges came naturally over the course of time. While a few of the arenas took me a few attempts to fulfill the requirements, it did not bother me as it was one of the best aspects of the game in my opinion since it felt fascinating to see how long I could endure through waves of enemies. Utilizing the Neon Singularity ability after killing a certain amount of enemies, upgrading the homing missiles to fire them in rapid succession, and not remaining in one spot constantly are some of the best pieces of advice to keep in mind when tackling the arenas. Overall, I highly recommend this title to both Infamous fans and people who enjoy superhero-esque titles. I'll be concluding my journey with Second Son during the coming weeks, although there are some other titles I intend to focus on beforehand.

Popular Post Bumperklever
So this would probably be my last plat of the year, but since I played it a lot, it summarized the gaming year perfectly. As well as being the 3rd of the 4 plats from Hi-Rez games. I only need the realm royale one. #109 Smite (PS4) The God of Gods Date Achieved: 26 December 2019Rarity: Ultra Rare (0-1%)Enjoyment: 8/10 I played Smite on PC back in the days and just recently started picking it up on PS4. The game itself is a good F2P moba that is still standing strong. Beware that the trophies are really grindy (hence the low percentage).
Popular Post Juzota
#123 - Life Is Strange 2 (The Plat image doesn't work, so imagine it's here :/) All Roads Traveled Unlock all Life is Strange 2 trophies. --- I absolutely adored the first Life Is Strange, but I did not believe Dontnod could top that game. But heck, they actually did. I did enjoy this second game even more than the first. Maybe it was easier for me to relate to teenage boys than girls. This game made me care about these people that aren't even real. Gameplay wise this was even more simpler than the first game. There's really nothing that requires any skill, except making tough decisions. I think my decisions were quite good, I was relatively happy with the ending. Trophy list was pretty much same as first game. Only collectibles to look out for, everything else was unmissable. I used Maka91's video guide for collectibles, he didn't spoil much in his videos. Would recommend. Thanks to TellTale going bankrupt, I decided to wait until every episode was out. Definitely right decision for me, so I did not have to wait for months to get a new episode. Episodic games are cool, but not when it takes forever to get next episode. Popular Post Conor
#47- GOD OF WAR: ASCENSION (PS3) Champion of the Gods Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Time Taken: 3 Months, 1 Week and 23 Hours (15 hours in-game) Rarity: 1.9% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 14.08% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Legendary Warrior ( Gold) - Complete the game on Hard Difficulty "Never... never again..." So at last I have arrived at the last game in the Greek cycle of God of War. Having not had a PS3 at the time, I never played this game or GoW III but I was still interested in the series even after trudging through every other title for their platinums. I had heard that this wasn't the best game in the series but I went in with decent expectations and they were met for the most part, although perhaps I was a bit fatigued with the series at the time I started, so I put it down for a while and came back when I felt ready. Sometimes a little break does wonders because not only did I go right through to the end after returning but almost immediately set about for a 2nd playthrough on Hard Difficulty after. Graphically, the game is very impressive, it really pushed the PS3 to its limits in the last year of its life cycle. It gives some early and mid-gen PS4 games a serious run for its money. Of course, graphics aren't everything but the gameplay we all know and love from the series is back and bloody as ever. It was still immensely satisfying cutting through the various abominations of the Greek mythos but I didn't really much care for the magic system here. It just didn't have as much of an impact on the combat this time around and only two powers- fire and soul- are really any use at all. I did like the Orkos stone but I wish it had been put to more use than a few simple puzzles. In fact, the puzzles in this game really are not all that special. Nothing bad either, but it just feels a bit tired. As for the story, well, it was still fine but I didn't care very much for it. The only aspect I found much interesting was the character of Orkos, quite a tragedy really. Being a prequel to the entire series, I guess there wasn't a whole lot they could do without causing continuity errors in timeline, but I'm glad it got a soft reboot on PS4. I had heard that the game was quite difficult on Hard but honestly I didn't find this too bad. In fact, I found it a lot fairer than Ghost of Sparta which had cheap fights every few minutes. The only parts that gave me any trouble really were the fight against the Hecatoncheires's head and the elevator battle in the furnace. Even the infamous Trials of Archimedes wasn't awful- I passed it on my second attempt on Hard, so many of the attacks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds can be blocked. As for the multiplayer, well, this game style just doesn't lend itself very well to multiplayer in my opinion so for me this was just another one of those tacked-on multiplayer modes designed only to tick a box that nobody ever actually wanted. I never actually played a match online, just completed the training for the trophy but I assume the servers are long since dead anyway. God of War: Ascension is still a great game but I'm probably never going to revisit it unless it gets a remaster on PS4/5 down the line. Before I get around to the PS4 masterpiece, I must first do the first two games again on PS Vita then GoW III Remastered on PS4 for the full set. Popular Post juakofoo94
#50 The Dark Soul All trophies obtained. Congratulations! The first DS game I played was DS2 and recently got the first, now I can understand why this game was so much popular than DS2. The lore is better and you feel like what you are doing has sense (unlike DS2 where ,IMO, they didn't explained you very well), anyway I enjoyed this game so much specially the DLC. I'm a big fan of Soulsborne saga so I can't wait to plat DS3.

Popular Post panikooooos
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 8/10 What a thriiiiiiill.....Wait, wrong game ?. Soooo, this was another one of Ps3's greatest hits I had never played when it was popular, I recently got into the Metal Gear Series because the series used to look scary for me as a child.. There's was way too much freedom for my liking as a kid, I preferred linear stuff (I still do), I had only played a demo of this game from PSMag, and I got so confused, I didn't know where to go, in the middle of a warzone, with an old mustached man, I was like wtf never playing this again ?. Anyways, the game is a truly epic conclusion to the Solid Snake saga, if you are a fan of the series you can't skip this game (or the 10 hour cutscenes ?, fun fact btw people called this game a movie because of 10 hours of cutscenes, look at the average videogame cutscene length now lmao), this game has got it all. It brings you back to old locations from previous games, it retains the borderline perverted yet lovable japanese humor, the unique storyline and memorable boss fights (I'll talk more about that in a minute), and especially the gameplay which personally I always though was perfected in MGS2, but it has evolved just like the world around Snake has evolved which makes sense. So, the bosses.. Something went wrong here. Apart from 2 boss fights, the rest are very similar to one another and don't really live up to the standard the series has set. War has evolved and so have bosses, which aren't the cartoony villain characters they once were but are now the products of ptsd from being child soldiers etc, giving them a more humane but also more boring personality. I will not spoil anything, but thankfully one boss makes up for all the others, Spoiler the final battle with Ocelot on top of Outer Haven during the sunset, with Ocelot roleplaying as Liquid thanks to drugs (it's true look it up), and going through all the previous videogame phases before you finally beat him is just the conclusion this character deserved and will be remembered as one of the greatest boss battles in videogame history I don't think I'll share any more thoughts about the game, pretty much these videos sum up my thoughts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93-_r0w7ykI , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R1x8TwVnmo Let's share some thoughts on the platinum. Oh man, what the fuck was this. They make you go through the game 8 times minimum, so that should tell you something. This plat is mostly lots of grind and one difficult ass playthrough. The game requires you to obtain all songs, which means you have to obtain all the emblems, which means you have to do all the tedious shit the game wants you to do... Finish the game with >75 alerts <250 kills and >25 continues. Oh you did that? Good now, finish the game with <75 alerts >250 kills and <25 continues? (repeat different combos of this 7 times) Oh cool you did that too? Now finish the game with >150 alerts, >500 kills, >50 continues, use >50 recovery items oh and in OVER 35 HOURS... WTFFFFFFF. No matter how bad you are at videogames I doubt you'd get this emblem without trying to go for it. The thing that differentiates the men from the boys, so to speak, is the Big Boss Emblem. You have to finish the game on the hardest difficulty, with 0 kills, 0 alerts, 0 rations, 0 deaths, without using any special items (also you can't buy tranq ammo)! There are guides on youtube but for the most part these people are pros, I had to find a strategy that works for me. This reminded me of the MGS2 Vr mission walkthroughs were it was people with world records doing stuff that require precise timing to the millisecond to pull off or else you get an alert, yeah no thanks for that "walkthrough" bro ? Hardest parts of the Big Boss Emblem run were, the start of the game, since you literally start the game with no weapons other than a lethal one and a shitty knife, which means you're basically fucked until you get your equipment, you have to do extreme bullshit to get through the hordes of guards without an alert, I had spend like 2 hours on the first part I think... Other hard part was the second act because I had run out of tranq ammo in the first act and without it I couldn't pass the first part of the 2nd act no matter how many times I tried, so I said fuck it, reloaded an older save and played it more carefully to retain my ammo. Another infamous fucked up part is that shitty ass rail shooter section in the 3rd act (I'll give you my thoughts on this whole act in a minute). I had mk2 ammo, the solar gun from previous runs, stuns, smoke and it was hard as shit to not die in these sections. Auto-aim + the most powerful/fast non lethal gun in the game, and I barely passed this shit after like 3 hours with a shred of health left. The whole Act 3 can go suck a dick, it's literally a walking simulator for 20 minutes, you follow a guy through a town and have to painfully escort him slowly so he is not seen by guards (FUCK THIIIIIIS, I HAD TO DO IT 8 TIMES, 1 IS BAD ENOUGH), Act 3 is the worst act in the game and probably in all Metal Gear games in general. Also the final boss fight gave me trouble in Big Boss run but it was satisfying to beat. Yeah basically, what more can I say, looking forward to playing more of Kojima's stuff, and I will see you later gamers, I'll leave you with this song, until next time ♫ Here's to you, Nicola and Bart ♫Rest forever here in our heartsThe last and final moment is yours♫ That agony is your triumph ♫ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oday_Fc-Gc

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #447: Difficulty: 1.5/10 Playtime: 30 minutes to an hour Enjoyment: 7/10 Okay, full disclosure; due to time constraints I had to resort to the in-game cheats and what have you. But I did play it legit at a friend's late last month, and I gotta say, SEGA Aladdin is better than I remember. While its claim to fame will always be the graphics, the gameplay is still good for a high. But let's address the elephant in the room here. This collection is so much less than what it could have been with SNES Aladdin, one of the greatest licensed games of all time, in tow. Why, I'd pay the same price as I did for this collection for a PS4 port of just that game alone. They had one job and they half-assed it. What, did Capcom demand the trophy list be changed to a 100 percenter or something? I'm serious, there probably is no better one-hour burst of platforming action to be found. 10/10, any day of the week. Anyways, as always with nearly any SEGA game you might name, rewinding and quicksaving features enhance the enjoyment of these games tremendously. I'll be checking out the Game Boy versions and stuff down the line, too.
