Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#415 - Seasons After Fall This was not a fun experience. It's an artsy plastformer that far overstays it's welcome. It makes you run back and forth between areas, constantly doing hte season changes to progress . It seemed desperately wanting to offer gameplay, but went extremely overboard. Only positive thing I can say, is it looks good. Popular Post PlayerWhiteMage
Platinum #5 Zero Escape: The Nonary Games Enjoyment 999: 9 Enjoyment Virtue's Last Reward: 4 Difficulty: 2 Would I recommend? Yes but only for 999, you can live without the other game I brought this game awhile ago but never actually played it and recently I've been on a VN kick so I decided to go for it. After playing 999 I was extremely happy and content with what I just played, a game hadn't satisfied me with it's story for a very long time and everything about this was perfect. I loved the few multiple endings, I loved all the characters, I loved the subtle hints here and there and even though I didn't find the ending perfect it was unique without making it a fail. Throughout the whole thing I was thinking about all the possibilities and what might happen next, some I got right and others I was completely off which is good because it wasn't predictable. It's also the first game since Final Fantasy IX in which I actually enjoyed all the characters, that definitely gets brownie points. This game is on par with Danganronpa with enjoyment and I want everyone to experience the joys of this game, especially since it was a DS game. Now coming from the first amazing game I had high hopes for the sequel and oh boy was I in for a disappointment. I wasted so many hours on this game and in the end I didn't get anything out of it besides, play our next game to see what happens! The characters were all bland and uninteresting, the area had no real threat and was pointless, there wasn't a risk, there wasn't that horror aspect, the plot was terrible, far too many endings and it was very predictable. The amount of endings and 'twists' this game had felt like it was trying to beat the first game and not be better than it, more than half of the game is just repeating the same path with a slightly different ending. It didn't take long for me not to care about what happens, in the end I was still reading but trying to speed things up as much as possible.

Popular Post Janire1911
Adam's Venture: Origins #126 Finally picked this game up when it was on sale. Luckily I knew how bad this game is so I wasn't disappointed, it really is hilariously bad with the most dislikable protagonist I've ever encountered in any game. At least it was an easy platinum.
Popular Post FinalFan
#96 Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon (PS4) First game was my 50th and also maybe the very first Gust game I ever played (I own several Atelier titles, but I think I'm not ready yet to dive into them), I was mainly attracted by chara-design from Yoshiku https://twitter.com/yoshiku449 , the setting and the lesbian/yuri vibes. I can also say I'm a proud owner of both Limited edition purchased from NISA store. Let's be honest, while I enjoyed the game, from the very beginning of the journey I felt something was off and sadly, this was permanent. The game was less nervous than the previous one you could feel it immediatly. Also, it was damn too easy, aside from 1 or 2 bosses, the challenge was inexistant. I even played my NG+/second run on extreme (maximum) difficulty only to see it was badly balanced and you could die in nearly an instant in some cases because your character has no recovery/invulnerability after being hit. So, when some enemies decide to hurt you, if you didn't manage to block the first one, prepare for a nasty moment than can lead to your death. But, the story (with a whole new cast) while being more or less similar to the original game was enjoyable as well as its female cast (men don't exist in this game ). Spoiler The new heroine, Aluche is a decent fighter but not very smart. Her best friend (and lover) Liliana is your typical pure priestress, she also has some special magical powers. Imo, she's way better than Lilysse from the first game. Ruenheid (Rue for short) is a childhood friend of Aluche and Liliana. She's the tsundere knight in shiny armour if I can say. Dr. Camilla is somewhat like a mother to Aluche, she's a clever scientist, fighting with a gun from distance. Veruschka shares the special condition of Aluche, imho the best partner. She's your typical cold/robot girl with no feelings that only cares about her mission. Eleanor is somewhat the loli/comic relief sidekick. She's a chocolatier and seeks peace through her art. Muveil is the senior to Aluche and Ruenheid, a powerful fighter. She can cause alterations to fiends pretty often. Arnice finally is the returning heroine from the first game, I was so glad to meet her again. Same goes for the enigmatic Christophorus (not playable, only here for cinematic/story purpose). Oh and... if you're here for happy ending and all, you're playing the wrong game. Azure 2 has a normal and a true ending and none of them were satisfying. I really hope for a third game, but I'm not sure it'll ever happen. Overall, this sequel is disappointing, I preferred the first one. I really liked the soundtrack. I'm glad it was available within the Limited edition of the game. Regarding the trophies, it took me 60+ hours (2 +1/3 walkthroughs) to clear everything, some things carry on from first run to NG+, but not everything. Meaning you had to do grindy chores in order to unlock some of them, espcially two. One for reaching maximum (50) level and another one when you unlock all the abilities from the skill tree. This is where the +1/3 is from.
Popular Post MrGarland
#74 Difficulty: 3/10 Platinum time: About 30 hours* Enjoyment: 7/10 * Since there doesn't to be any way to check game records, i'm going to assume this was my time. Originally, i was planning to play some other spin-off in the series (that being Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection), but i couldn't find any proper trophy guide, other than one. However, it was quite confusing for me to follow, so change of plans was required. I'll try to play it within the next few months, but can't say i'm looking forward to it too much. I've heard of that it's the worst game in the series. I'll have to see that myself when the time comes. Anyway, i decided to jump to this one, leaving (hopefully) the best spin-off in the series as the last (which is Sega Hard Girls). Now, onto the game. The game is pretty much like Action Unleashed, but somewhat better. Not much else to say. Uni was my choice, since she's my favorite. Plus, being a ranged character makes the game pretty easy. Finally, Uni and Nepgear have a moment of their own. *spoilers* And now the bad things. One annoying thing are all those big bosses. Probably the worst thing in the game. Their attacks are annoying, they take either long time or very long time to beat and some of them fill most of the screen. Add the bad camera angle on those battles and there you have it. What were they thinking? Thankfully, my defence was high enough, so most of them couldn't harm me. But beating them took about 5-10 minutes, depending on the boss. I also had some techinal issues, but only twice. When playing the story mode, the game crashed only a second after i started a mission. Probably because i had all the in-game cheats on. I turned most of them off. After that, the game worked normally. Overall, it's a good game, but not much. I'm still giving 7/10 since i'm a generous guy and it did have some good moments, like Magical Noirina (lol). I'm really hoping that Sega Hard Girls is good enough. But before that, i'm planning to play few other games. It'll take time, but i'm looking forward to it. Popular Post awf9495
Platinum #100 - Muv Luv Alternative One of the best visual novels I have ever read/played. What an emotional roller coaster full of unforgettable moments. The kicker is that it is almost required to play Extra and Unlimited first, which I did enjoy but to a much lesser degree. 100 platinums don't mean much anymore. In the 2019 stats thread, there were several people that earned well over 100 in 2019 alone. Still, even though I didn't plan it out, I am glad that not only did #100 go to a game that I absolutely love, but to a Vita game as well.
Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platiinum #36 Tekken 7 Enjoy: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I must say, I like fighting games, and even though I hadn't ever tried a Tekken game, I decided to start with this one and I actually enjoyed it, I liked many of the main characters and the fact that mostly all of them speak the language corresponding to their nationality (and also how they could understand each other despite of that). I didn't like the fact that the process of achieving the platinum doesn't allow the player to enjoy the content of the game as much as they can, so if someone wants to enjoy it, they need to keep playing it even after the platinum (as I do). I took advantage of the discounts from the store to purchase it, so I guess I'd be glad to try another tekken entry.

Popular Post Carol
#178 World War Z Came back haunted Earn all other trophies I want to buy the new PvZ game, but it's still a bit expensive and it's, probably, not that different from GW2, so I'm waiting for a better price. Meanwhile, "World War Z" was recently on sale, for 16€ and it seemed a nice new online game to try. The main focus of this game is the cooperative mode, where you follow different groups of people and their stories of survival, in the context of a zombie apocalypse. You can also find some competitive modes, that are actually quite fun and, even in those, zombie swarms are thrown at you, which is an interesting addition to otherwise classic game modes. Trophy-wise, WWZ is a very grindy platinum, with a couple of hard trophies. The coop is, in general, hard, even on lower difficulties; on harder difficulties it's truly unforgiving. Nevertheless, I was able to complete all the missions on insane mode by playing with randoms; it's totally possible, as long as you have patience and perseverance. The reason this platinum is ultra-rare, though, is all the grind it requires. You have to fully upgrade the coop weapons, to level up all the cooperative and competitive classes and to buy all their respective perks. In conclusion, WWZ is a fun game, just not very trophy hunter friendly. I am, however, happy to start 2020 with an ultra-rare platinum, especially since I didn't get any last year. Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#116 Platinum Agent Unlocked every Trophy in Tom Clancy's The Division™. Platinum on 4th January 2020 (5 months, 4 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** Two years ago, I was in a crossroads on whether to get "Tom Clancy's The Division Gold Edition" as South-east Asia PlayStation Store is having Flesh Sales that cost no more than S$15 buck but one of my PSN friends say this game is just another grindingfest nothing more and I was held back by what he had said. Fast forward to last year January, "The Division" became one the Instant Games Collection from S.E.Asia PlayStation Plus. True to what he said, this game is really a "HUGE" grindy fest but only your own doing if going for those unique gears or weapons. The story? ...it happen around New York City, Manhattan on Black Friday as some kind of unknown virus outbreak on that fateful day and...3 to 4 weeks later, US government issued order to quarantine and lockdown the whole Manhattan. And the "Sleeper's Agent" is activate by Strategic Homeland Division, or simply call "The Division", to assist and restoring order in the city but the first wave Agent have either gone rogue, missing or dead and "We" the 2nd wave have been call up for duty and the story continued from here... Although the story is normal like most 3rd person shooter game out there but I was hook by the gameplay because of role-playing elements where I can build multiple different type of gears to counter different situation in the mission or in between the mission. Farming those Classified gear or Exotic weapon were repetitive but also addicting and those monthly Global Event is a good week to farm my Classified Gear ...so far I only got 4 complete set of Classified Gears and full set of Exotic Weapons & Gears. But this game have his downside too, during my 432 hours playtime I think I spend around 5 hours waiting on every loading screen. Although, there is still some minor bugs & glitches in this game but nothing is game breaking. I'm also not a fan of everything is run and saved in the servers cause once in awhile everything will lag to a stop. And lastly, I wanna to thanks @vlad_rgn for the help in 20 rouge kill cause it damn bloody hard to kill those veterans player in Dark Zone nowadays. And also thanks to S.E.Asia PS Plus for making this game "FREE" in the 1st half of 2019 and I also brought the season pass during one of the Flash Sales in either February or March that cost no more than S$9 dollars. Popular Post Kcrack_Km
PUBG My first Battle Royale, never bothered even trying fortnite, this was more my cup of tea. Awesome game if you can get past the last gen graphics and performance, playing with a squad is where it’s at but nothing beats the feel of your first solo win. Unfortunately even with cross play, the servers in Aus are dying quickly, lunchtime on a Saturday right now and both solo and duos are dead. Kind of glad to finish this off because some trophies are fairly glitchy. Concrete Genie Had my eye on this since it was announced, fairly enjoyable, liked the story and message on bullying. Also the first game to introduce me to VR in it’s own extra mode which was surprisingly enjoyable. The negatives, the main game is pretty short and doesn’t support VR at all (I thought it would be optional). Without those I’d give this an 8/10 but it goes down to a 7/10.

This game is the best for its story. However, the Vita version has some problems. It's almost as if the sliding challenges weren't bad enough, they are basically giving me a vertigo. Why you asked? The gyroscopic controls suck so much ass that it's nearly giving me a headache, since that's the only way to complete the sliding challenges. You've acquired all trophies. Really easy plat, but since the story modes are really short, most of the grind is done on survival/challenge/free battle. Popular Post IceSoul21
Drakengard 3 The Final Song I can hear the sound Enjoyment: 7.5/10. Difficulty: maybe an 8.5 or even a 9 (mostly because of Branch D's final boss and the Last Survival). Rarity: Rare (11.98 % here on PSNProfiles). Well, I can't really say much about this game when it comes to its plot. But that's not because I didn't get it or anything like that, but because I know that, for one, this game is a prequel to the other 2 Drakengard games, which I haven't played, and also because it has connections with the Nier series, which I haven't played either (though I'd really like to get NieR and play it at some point). Still, if you're interested in reading my not so good summary about the story, then, here we go: the game follows Zero, an Intoner, a woman who can use magic through songs while she looks for her 5 sisters with the sole purpose of killing them. As the story progresses, you learn more about Zero's reasons as to why she wants her sisters dead and the secrets behind the mysterious flower that she ended up having in one of her eyes after supposedly dying after failing in an attempt to take all her sisters at once. Throughout her journey, she'll be helped by Michael (a dragon) who dies protecting her but reincarnates in a child like state named Mikhail and people who eventually join her side. With the summary out of the way, I'll try to talk a little about the gameplay. It's a Hack n' Slash game, and since I like these types of games, I liked the gameplay, specially since you had different combos with the different weapons you could get once you upgraded them. The combat when you ride Mikhail wasn't the best, but it wasn't that bad once I got the hang of it. Still, what the hell was the final boss of Branch D? I wanted to appreciate the way the boss was designed, but couldn't since I had to focus in either my game (which, believe me, I tried not screwing up, but whenever the camera zoomed out I failed) or the video shown in the guide for the game to sync up the button pressing. In the end, after I finihed the Branch I went on YT and watched a video. Have to say, I really liked the song and the boss when I didn't need to focus on what I previously wrote. Besides that complain (that I think a lot of people have) the game has one big issue: the frame rates drop were sometime awful. When playing a Verse of Branch D and fighting enemies, the FPS decided to drop a lot and I had no idea what I was doing, if dodging, blocking, attacking, etc. But besides that one, I didn't get really bad FPS drops. That and the grinding to get all the necessary gold to buy all the upgrade materials and upgrading the weapons was quite boring. while the biggest challenge (besides Branch D's final boss) was the Last Survival. I tried finishing it with normal Zero, but I always died in the 2nd to last round, so I ended up using the outfit that gives you infinte Intoner mode and it ended up being a breeze. Anyway, I think that's it since I'm not sure what else to say ?
