Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #38 God of war 2 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoy: 9/10 After playing the first game, i definetely needed to try the third one, and i actually liked it even more. Never is too late to enjoy such a game and the only trophy that actually suck a little bit are the challenges you have to complete after beating the game. Other than that, is an excellent game I couldn't enjoy at its time. I also have the third one, but i'd like to try something else in my new ps3 before jumping to it. Also the story of kratos seems to be pretty interesting and relatively easy to follow.

Popular Post Paulie1313
129 BURNOUT PARADISE REMASTERED What an awesome, fun game this is. Had it on PS3 but never got around to it, now servers are closed. Was asked to join for the Wildcats trophy and ride 10 miles to start and thought, why not, it's a racing game I can just mess around with here and there. Boy was I wrong, game is addictive. Favorite mode is definitely Road Rage, what a blast. Has some help with the online portion of the game, which things easier as every game I entered was just people running the map crashing into each other, but never setting up challenges. I'm a FPS type by preference, but this is a fun & easy game for anyone to play and plat. Now I want to do the EU stack, game was so fun. Popular Post DamagingRob
#431- Vampyr I Time is on my side Earn all trophies Vampyr... is a game about vampires. Bet you didn't see that coming. The story and world were kind of interesting. And some of the music was fantastic. In particular, I really liked this track: Spoiler But that's pretty much where the good ends.. The gameplay is fairly mediocre, and then they made a trophy that makes you underleveled almost all of the time. I mean, it's no Bloodborne. But it just makes fights so damn tedious, and you barely get any XP for them. Pretty much went like this: hit enemy a bunch of times, warp away to heal/regenerate stamina, rinse and repeat. Sometimes having to leech blood, since enemies hit like a mack truck. Then you have to keep trekking back and forth all over the map, with enemies constantly getting in your way. You can warp or run past them, but be prepared to get hit with game freezes.. The game can not handle it if you start covering ground too fast, stopping completely with a red loading circle. Who play tested this thing!? So yeah, not a great experience. With it being from a developer who hadn't made a game I disliked before, I was hoping it would be good. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.. Platinum image: Spoiler Edited February 9, 2020 by DamagingRob
Jelly Soup
#114 - Planet RIX-13 Short and sweet. It's nothing super amazing, but there is just something about a straightforward adventure game that just feels comfy. Even if we're dealing with a planet covered in alien mindfuck monsters and a number of ways to die. Popular Post Sword
Bloodborne #19: Bloodborne (All trophies acquired. Hats off!) ※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※ Bell rings hollow, As beastly screams echo, Across city basked in shadow. Oh pale moonlight, Why does the night go on? Will this nightmare ever end? Can you hear our prayers? Forgive us our sins... Forever on, Does the night go... Welcome home, good hunter. ※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※ Bloodborne is an RPG game from the makers of the Souls series in which you take on the role of a Hunter, who hunts beasts and monsters in this gothic, pre-European style world. With fantastically detailed environments, a great soundtrack (when needed) and an ambiance that will have you standing by the hairs on your head from the moment the game starts right until the final boss, this game will captivate you for hours to come. The feeling of ambiance is what really sets this game apart from any other game I've played in the Souls series to date. The foreboding and hollowness you'll feel in the environments will keep you playing to ask one simple question: What is going on here? One of the subtle things about these sorts of games is that the lore is often hidden away, only revealed to you in little bits and pieces. There is no way that you'll be able to go through this game and come out the other side understanding everything unless you read the item descriptions, which is where most of the lore is presented. Unfortunately, unlike other Souls like games, the lore in this particular game seems to be difficult to piece together. Even having read every piece of text, I still had to go to external sources (YouTube, etc) to have it piece the puzzle together. The story, once understood, is amazing. However, I have to say that I wish the story was presented in a more straightforward way. I spent a good 30 hours running around feeling like all I was doing was slaying monsters... because I could slay monsters. There wasn't any rhyme or reason to what I was doing until VERY late in the game. Unfortunately for me, that's just not the type of game I enjoy. I struggled sticking with the lore aspect of Bloodborne, eventually abandoning it after about 4 hours of playtime only to pick up interest in it again almost 25 hours later. So for 25 hours it felt like all I was doing was playing a hack/slash action game with gore, with no plot and no reason to do anything. It did come together in the end though. ※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※ Combat in Bloodborne is typical Soulslike with some twists. First, there are no shields. This game revolves around dodging/getting out of the way much more than Dark Souls. In retrospect though, this game is actually a lot EASIER than Dark Souls except for a very few things (Defiled Chalice in particular). Second, your primary weapon (called a "Trick" weapon) actually has two forms. Based on what weapon you pick, stats you invest in, you can build a character that can tackle any sort of enemy in the game. Once I got my hands on Ludwigs Holy Blade, I used it for the entire rest of the game (and the DLC content too!). Of course, you can upgrade your weapons, imbue them with gems and equip words of wisdom which grant unique effects. All this leads to a lot of customization and ways to tackle the games many challenges. Boss design in this game ranges from overly frustrating due to some unfair mechanic being used against you (mainly the camera), to "oh my god I felt like I just mastered that boss YES". Designs of bosses are all unique and have their own special attack patterns/strategies you need to master in order to overcome the challenge Bloodborne will give you. This game is extremely fair in its challenge and every boss can be overcome within a few attempts, from my personal experience. Trophies for Bloodborne were very easy in my opinion, save the one where you need to descend through a maze of different post-game dungeons in order to unlock one trophy. There are some collectable trophies you have to watch out for, but nothing too bad you can't go back and do in a 30 minutes total. Just need to make sure to collect all the cords to unlock the secret ending and defeat the brain mother, then you're good to go. All the trophies can be earned in one playthrough using save state restoration for the ending trophies, only requiring you to go into New Game+ for about 2 minutes for the final trophy, which is an accumulative trophy. ※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※ Final Score: Lore (2/10 before 30 hours, 10/10 after I figured out what was going on) Gameplay (10/10) Difficulty (3-7, skill dependent. Boss dependent) Trophy Difficulty: 3/10 (By the time you finish the game, getting any "boss" related trophy you missed is easy cause you're skilled enough to do them).
Popular Post DamagingRob
#432- Black Mirror Every Trophy accomplished Accomplish all Trophies and complete the game Kind of been on the fence about buying this one, so why not play it with my PS Now trial? Was pleasantly surprised with it. Pretty interesting story, looks nice, and was about what you'd expect from an adventure game. Though it does have some flaws. First are the controls are a bit awkward, and take some getting used to. It's also kind of dark, making it hard to see where you're going. Then it has some pretty bad bugs, so you should really manually save often in different slots. In Chapter 3, my character got stuck and wouldn't crawl forward. So, I closed the game and continued from the last autosave. It happened again, and I started to search to see if others had the same problem. During that time, he stood up and was kind of glitching through the wall. I then decided to manually save, and proceeded to load it. Suddenly my character was in the right crawling position, and I was able to continue. But shortly after this, at the start of Chapter 4, I noticed my inventory had vanished.. I loaded previous saves until I found one where I still had the items, and had to replay a bit of Chapter 3. But at least it wasn't a huge setback, and the game is pretty short. It also crashed once, and wouldn't let me leave an area. All the bugs and frequent loading screens, kinda bring it down a bit.. Still fairly enjoyable, though. Popular Post Darghel
To be honest, I was thinking about Drakengard 3 - which is a fun game but DAMN the frame rate sucks, and the Branch D boss is a pain - but then I forgot I gained this through a session since the last trophy I needed was the infamous Last Man Standing and It's so rare to do it that not even my pc account has it! Still, I love the game, didn't initially plan to platinum it but I managed to get every trophy by myself at one point and LMS was the final one...now I got it and I can finally enjoy the game without focusing on trophies! Too bad that the last update kinda made it really hard to enjoy it...maybe next time!

Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #51 - Resident Evil Revelations Difficulty Rating 7/10 Enjoyment Rating 6/10 Very Rare - 9.29% Fastest Achievers - #49 Oh boy, I never thought I’d be returning to this game from my 3DS days. Resident Evil Revelations is a spin off title that takes place between the events of RE4 and RE5. No, it doesn’t fill in the gaps from RE4 or set you up better for RE5 The story here is sooooo yawn inducing it will put you to sleep. There’s a floating city, a ghost ship (or three) and you bounce around between playable characters so often that you’ll stop caring after a while. Even I don’t know what really goes on in this game, but it does have some of the better gameplay in the series. You can move around while aiming and shooting, making combat more intuitive. Graphics are also subpar, but keep in mind this was originally a 3DS game, and it was pretty ambitious for it’s time. But Capcom felt like it needed more ports than Bethesda’s Skyrim, so here we are. Campaign is not the most time consuming. You’ll spend roughly 12 hours across two playthroughs. You can try to go for one playthrough on the hardest difficulty, but you’re gonna have a bad time doing that. I recommend playing on easy while scanning all the handprints and then take on Infernal difficulty through New Game Plus. The true challenge of this platinum comes from Raid Mode. You’ll spend more time here than campaign for sure. I don’t recommend taking it on alone, find an online buddy and dedicate yourselves. Or you can be like me and find a random Japanese player online who will carry you through nearly the whole thing You gotta level up your character, find better weapons and beat all levels with S ranks. The stronger you become, the easier it is to do. It’s a great test of patience... even with my Japanese wingman it took almost 25 hours to complete it all. Your milage may vary however. Are you crazy for Resident Evil? If you’re not the biggest fan, I can’t recommend this one too much. If anything, I feel that it will only have people running for the hills. Do you want a good Resident Evil game? I can vouch for RE4 or RE7. Those two are my favorites in the series, even if they’re both completely different animals. I probably don’t have to tell you that, Resident Evil has become a household name over the years and Capcom is going to keep milking it for as long as they can. Sometimes they push out a really good game, yet sometimes they don’t. My next stop in the series is RE2 Remake, here is hoping it’s amazing as people say it is ?
Popular Post Eramir
I platted three games the last nine days and had alot of fun doing it. Here there are: Platinum #70: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (PS3) After getting the online trophies before the servers closed, I knew I wanted to get the platinum eventually. Thought I had to do this game twice, once on hard to unlock crushing and to get all collectibles and a crushing playthrough. Luckily that wasn't necessary, as it unlocked with normal 5 years ago. This game is alot of fun and it was nice coming back to it. Crushing was not too hard, except for a few parts (looking at you chapter 12, the shipwreck yard). The game still plays well, maybe I'll do the Uncharted remastered someday in the future.. Probably not. Shame that there are so much DLC trophies, 51% and a platinum doesn't look good, but it is what it is. Platinum #71: Yooka-Laylee Started this game because of an event of another community I'm part of: the Four in February (FiF in short) where you start four new games and complete the story. For my FiF, I also want to plat those four games. This was my first game and it was different than I expected. I only saw gameplay of the second game and thought this would be a sidescrolling platformer. The game itself is alot of fun, not a hard platinum as well. I would recommend this game if you like 3D platformers. I also loved the puns and breaking the fourth wall jokes. Platinum #72: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare This was my second game of my FiF. Had a blast playing this game and it was hard putting it away. Clean House is my favorite mission of this game, what a cool mission that was! Trophywise this game is not hard at all. Even on veteran I didn't have alot of trouble and if I did, I always had a checkpoint nearby. This game is very forgiving. Loved the story and action, felt like a movie. Next up: Control, after that will be The Walking Dead Final Season.

Popular Post PlayerWhiteMage
(I need to play catch up) Platinum #6 Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 3 Would I recommend? Definitely The Tomb Raider series is something I've always seen people play and praise but I had no interest in it myself, then I decided to give a game which I wouldn't normally play a chance and this was it. And I can tell you I'm glad I did! Not knowing anything about the games I went in completely blind but if there's something I love then it's bows and playing as a female, same reason I thought Horizon would be good but that was a disappointment. Either way it had the formula to make me enjoy it, it just needed to execute it well. Most games start of pretty slow but from start to finish but it had a steady pace and ramped it up here and there so I was never left bored, which is quite a rarity with how repetitive games can be. It managed to keep the areas fun, different and make you use different tools which you unlock gradually throughout the game. I know some people may not like it but I love going back to the start of a game to see that one secret area I couldn't unlock before. So with that in mind, I knew that even once I did unlock everything I had some cleaning up to do. The story itself was decent, definitely not a stereotypical story so that's more than enough. It's about Japanese Mythology which is something I love to learn about so again it had something to keep me interested, not much more to say on the story since it wasn't heavily story based and more gameplay. Grim definitely had the best line, "This is nothing pal, I grew up in Glasgow!" Once you finish the game (or maybe you did it before) you have the multiplayer to deal with, which honestly wasn't that bad. Of course you have to set up a bossing session since it's dead but to start a match you need 4 or 6 people? I can't remember and to get that many people to listen to you in a chat is oh boy, an experience. After three hours of torture fun it was finally done, this wasn't even for all the multiplayer trophies, this was just for the ones which require multiple people. So after all that I still had many hours of grinding up to level 60 which would have been worse if I didn't have @KaiserVendrix helping me out so thanks for that! Overall it's a great game and as soon as I finished this game I got the next one in the series, so once I clean up my games it will be time to see how the sequel is!
Popular Post saki
Platinum #53: Assassin's Creed III Liberation (PS Vita) Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Mulitplayer: 1/10 It took me 7 years and 2 months to complete this game. During my first playthrough in 2012 my save corrupted 3(!) times. I managed to finish the game in my 4th playthrough, but eventually gave up going for platinum, when I encountered that horrible and bland multiplayer. To be honest, I wasn't in the right headspace and simply lacked the patience to continue. Since I only had 13 trophies left, I decided to go for platinum again, why not? I checked my singleplayer save, everything works fine + I only had to redo 2 missions for the 100% sync trophy. I told myself to get that boring multiplayer out of the way first (mistakes were made). After tapping the touchscreen and smashing the X-Button for hours, I got those 3 multiplayer trophies. I went back to singleplayer and guess what? My save corrupted! (and NO my backup save didn't work either) After replaying the whole game once again, I realized how much I loved it. The protagonist Aveline is a multifaceted character, who brings a new kind of gameplay to the Assassin's Creed franchise. I genuinly enjoyed the game and would give it an enjoyment rating of 9/10, but after encoutering many corrupted saves, mission breaking bugs, game crashes, as well as continuous resetting of trophy related statistics I just can't give it the rating it deserves. Also, the game tries very hard to implement PS Vita mechanics in the gameplay, which doesn't work that great tbh. Having to put the PS Vita camera close to a light, just doesn't work that well when the camera is doing a great job at correcting overexposure. Eventually you end up holding your handheld close to a light source for minutes, not knowing when the game will finally notice a light. About the multiplayer: it's a joke! The hardest part is being patient tbh. There's no challenge whatsoever and it gets repetitive real fast. Overall, (if you ignore all the bugs) it's a fun game! I genuinly enjoyed the singleplayer and being able to get that platinum after so many years feels great! ?If you ever try to go for that platinum tho, I advise you to do it in one go and don't ever close the game! Keep it running and make sure your PS Vita doesn't die on low battery.
Popular Post Akeachi
#1 Platinum - Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Fun : 8/10 Difficulty : 4/10 (I haven't cheesed any boss or enemy except the Demon Of Hatred) Time : 47:51:13 (According to my save file) although I spend some hours AFK This game is really good I've had a lot of fun with it, I really like fast paced games But imo the best thing about it is the bosses while I wished for more bosses like Genichiro and Isshin, the ones here are really good But my problem with the game is the soundtrack which I didn't like at all except the mini bosses ost which never fails to raise the adrenaline in me Some questionable level design choices The lack of options in combat, why wouldn't they at least let you switch the combat arts mid gameplay? And my biggest problem with the game is that it's 30FPS... Why the hell would you do that for a fast paced game that relies on reactions? If it was at 60FPS the controls will be more tight But overall I really enjoyed it, maybe I could say even better than Dark Souls 3 (not in the replay value) but not worthy of GOTY, that belongs to DMC5 Oh and fuck everyone at fromsoft who put the All Skills trophy, spent like 5h grinding that shit
