Popular Post Ghost
Platinum difficulty rating - 4.5/10 Fun factor - 6/10 I didn't care about the story of this game with it's dreadful dialogue. I skipped every damn cutscene. The only thing I enjoyed was completing all the drift zones. Hearing that Criterion Games will be returning as the main developer for the series is a step in the right direction.

MooseSketts
Platinum #107 Syrup And The Ultimate Sweet I've been reading a lot lately. I thought I'd give this a read solely because of the art. I disliked it. I'm wondering why visual novels are so boring to me. Perhaps it's the lack of "panels"? Maybe the insane amount of useless dialogue?

Popular Post hittheroadbucky
Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 4 It’s been a long time coming but I finally have the platinum in Skyrim ?? I still haven’t touched the DLC and have a quest log as long as my arm so easily I’d say there’s still about 100 hours of content to work through, but for the time being I’m done ✅ Not really any difficult trophies in the game, the only one that worried me a little was the Daedric artifacts because some are missable but it wasn’t actually that bad. This is by far one of the most enjoyable plats I’ve gone for in a while ?
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum # 240 Fun: 8/10 initially then 3/10 grinding Difficulty: 7/10 Super Earth is under assault from 3 alien factions: The Cyborgs, an army of half human half machines that enjoy air dropping tanks on you, the bugs, I mean they're giant bugs, self explanatory there, and the Illuminate, an army of technologically advanced aliens that has shields, summon barriers to halt your progress, and reverse your controls. The community's mission is to halt their advance across multiple planets in near by star systems and bring the fight to their home worlds to conquer and end the war. Helldivers is a grind to say the least. It's a top down twin stick shooter that you and up to four others can work together on various missions on different planets to win the war. To get the 100% you have to obtain enough research points to upgrade all the Stratagems and weapons which can take a long time as it takes 10 research samples to equal one research point and this will take a long LONG time. Not to mention the 100,000 kill trophy, yes that's right, 100,000 enemies has to die by your hand for a gold trophy. The trophies range from easy like playing against the three races and on different planets, to not so easy such as completing a level 7 mission without causing an alert throughout the mission or completing a difficulty 7 mission against the cyborgs without getting harmed. It starts out pretty fun but once you hit the point where there's nothing to do and all you need are kills and research samples the game gets boring. Shout out to @SnowxSakura for being a great co-op partner in this hell

Popular Post Conor
#52- HITMAN: BLOOD MONEY (PS3) Perfect Assassin Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Time Taken: 1 week, 3 hours & 31 minutes (20 hours in-game) Rarity: 3.2% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 12.46% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: All firearms collected ( Gold)- All firearms collected and displayed in the hideout "Names are for friends, so I don't need one..." At last I have completed the Hitman HD trilogy. As far as the games go, Blood Money is probably the best one in the series- better balanced, more variety in the missions, a more versatile 47 and just a bit more fun, although there are some things that I feel the other games did better. New to Hitman is the notoriety system, whereby the way you complete a mission can have an impact on future missions, so the more evidence and witnesses you leave behind the harder future targets may be, unless your kills are clean and you be sure to steal security videotapes! If your notoriety gets too high, your next targets will be more alert and have higher levels of security. It's a neat feature but I found myself experiencing little of it since I went for the quietest kills possible, with my foreknowledge of the series having played them to death years ago. The storyline running through the game is more subtle, with an unreliable narrator guiding you between missions until the grand finale. There are also subtle hints in the newspaper reports between missions as well which I thought was a great touch. Depending on how well you execute your mission, you will be rewarded with higher cash sums to spend on weapons and equipment upgrades. While also a cool feature, I found only a sparse few of the purchases in any way useful, so buying all of them was just a tedious and pointless grind save for the trophies. Also, the upgrades only apply for five weapons- the Silverballer(s), the MP5 (AKA SMG Tactical), M4 assault rifle, SPAS-12 Shotgun and the W2000 Sniper. If you want to take the AR or shotgun, you have to find it elsewhere in the level in an Agency drop off box, whereas the sniper rifle is carried in a case. If you fail to carry the special weapons on you or back into the box, or if you leave your suit behind, you suffer a monetary penalty at the end of the mission. I found the game to be a little less challenging but I mean that mostly in a good way- the enemies rarely just became alert for no good reason so there was a little less rage-restarting! An exception to this was the 'Murder of Crows' mission which had some randomized elements to it and you also had to carry an assault rifle out in the open in order to collect it at the end which was very tricky even on Normal because the cops kept owning my ass, I eventually just had to keep leading them one by one into an alley and capping their asses. On the other hand, it was all too easy to get Silent Assassin ratings on Professional difficulty in the exact same way as I did on Normal, in fact, I had an easier time pulling them off on Professional since I knew the missions so well by that point! Yeah, still had to restart a couple of times but it was much clearer to see where I had gone wrong so it was easy to overcome. I also do think that the weapon variety was severely lacking this time around. You can only collect a few guns and the only dual-wielding option is your Silverballers but you have to pay to upgrade them as such first- like, what gives? Did 47 just decide to stop using two? Or did he just lose one? Strange! So yeah, a bit disappointing. Also, a lot of the weapons you do have to collect are all on the same mission- the longest one has two of them and you can't bring them both so you have to repeat the missions multiple times. I was lucky I did my first playthrough on Normal because it probably would have been a lot more frustrating on Professional! All in all, Blood Money is a fantastic game that I look forward to doing again on PS4. A pity I can't plat Absolution on PS3 since the online Contracts mode was pulled two years ago. Popular Post snakebit10
#300 Control It took me a while it seems to finally figure out what I wanted to make #300. Control is a game I had been wanting to play but never bought it. When it was offered in PSNOW, I jumped at the opportunity to play it. For me it was a good game. I loved the story, the combat, the abilities and the mechanics. You play as Jesse, who kicks butt. With her abilities you gain you become really powerful. I probably killed more enemies with the launch ability than with any of the guns. Don't let the 42% plat rate fool you on this one. I struggled with quite a bit of the boss fights. All of them took multiple attempts to beat and some even had me wondering if I even wanted to complete the game. I stuck with it and was able to finish. The game does have it's flaws. The frame rate drops terribly after coming out of the pause menu. Also notice after the story and playing in free roam it would drop some. The in game menu is just about useless. Better to use the wall signs to get were you have to go. Lots of times I felt lost in the game. Overall a satisfying game and glad I did get to play it.
Popular Post VoxAnimi
Platinum 35- Shadow of the Colossus (PS4 version) The Horned Boy Difficulty: 5.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Shadow of the Colossus is one of those critically acclaimed games I've heard about for many years, but never had the opportunity to play it. When the remake was announced, my interest was piqued. However, after finally playing it for myself, I still feel relatively ambivalent about my experience. To begin with, let's focus on the positive aspects. The world depicted in Colossus is utterly phenomenal, and it conveys the lifeless feeling accurately. I enjoyed riding through the landscape and gazing at the beautiful sights. Additionally, the Colossi designs are memorable as they're rather distinct, plus some of them manage to appear outright intimidating when you first encounter them. I liked the variation in the forms of bosses, such as having certain encounters primarily being airborne or being submerged under water before you could make your way to the weak spots, even if managing to get on them could prove to be annoying at times. While the plot could be relatively scarce in terms of information provided, I still liked the basic idea of making a deal with a deity to revive a loved one, even if it has repercussions. Unfortunately, there were other relevant factors that detracted from my experience. The controls are a prominent complaint, as they did not resonate with me whatsoever until after my first playthrough. I know they were intending for it to be more realistic, but I found myself irritated when I faced dilemmas such as the somewhat slow animation for Wander when he is knocked to the ground, and thus, vulnerable to enemy attack when he gets up. Additionally, the camera controls provided to be a hindrance at times since I would squander certain prime opportunities, such as maneuvering my way across certain bosses or having to make a precise jump on them. I did acclimate to them eventually, but it took a while to properly adjust and understand the mechanics. Another key point is the trophy list being rather monotonous since it requires multiple playthroughs. While the time attack could prove to be frustrating at times due to the time limits imposed on you, the main offender was the trophy where you had to maximize Wander's statistics. I resorted to the method where you had to kill the first 2 Colossi over and over on NG+, so I ended up doing around 15 or so partial playthroughs, each being under 10 minutes or so. At least it was alleviated by the Queen's Sword you unlock in time attack mode, but it still was tedious. However, I also had to forage around the map for fruit since I didn't have the amount of health I needed. While people's experiences will obviously differ, I had to prolong this title for a while to refresh my mind and find the motivation required to completing it since it was daunting initially. Needless to say, I won't be reminiscing about this experience in terms of trophies fondly. Overall, while I did experience a plethora of emotions ranging from frustration to enjoyment at certain times and so on, I just feel an immense sense of relief to complete this title finally. Especially since it was the oldest title lingering on my profile, so I'm proud that I persevered through this game. I'm currently working on Transistor, which is proving to be a rather nice change of pace, and then I'll proceed with maybe another incomplete game from the profile. Popular Post sunnydaleAlumni
Bright Future This vn turned out to be better than I expected. The story was a bit of a mess but still funny/charming at times, the voice acting & music were excellent. The chart system was also pretty cool once you figured it out. Popular Post Darghel
#63 Platinum Trophy (Bioshock) Difficulty: Surprisingly easier than I thought Time to complete: About 3 days of play, I assume 20 or 25 hours Recommended? Absolutely! Now here's a story of how about I played this game many times before: I started it out on Xbox360 (still got my copy) then got it on my pc and finished it TWICE and one day when I saw the collection on ps4 I was so wanting to get it but my sister would go "don't buy it again, you got it on pc and you finished like, 2 times! Well last month this gem was available on PSN plus so I thought "it's destiny that I must grab it!". Only difference is that I never attempted 100% it so I was concerned about the game played on the highest difficulty without vita chambers but it turned out to be much easier than I thought: after a while, I could easily 1 shot enemies with a headshot and saves felt like I was playing an old pc game from the 90s-2000. Good times. Anyway, what makes the trophy a bit harder is the missables: there are a few that are only obtainable early on, especially diaries, and the Cohen's room being one thing I never found out until today. The rest was fairly simple and finishing the game on Survivor without ressing gave me 4 trophies in a row. After that, I just went and completed the diaries and I was done, infact finishing the game on Survivor was the hardest part because you start off very rough and you realize how enemies are much tougher - I nearly died at the very first enemy! But as soon as you get some plasmids like Decoy (SO GOOD AGAINST BIG DADDIES) and better weapons (shotty and crossbow ftw) you're pretty much on the roll. The story is very good but I ain't gonna spoil it: the guide on the site says that you should play the first time for the story but I think you can do on survivor too. Game is only hard at the beginning. Main issues are the game is clunky, like plasmids and weapons can't be BOTH equipped together (you can in the sequel!) and the odd fact it crashed more times than I wanted...also why the money counter shows 4 digits but the maximum amount of money is 500?! Still, a great game, one of my faves and I plan to play the second soon, which my favorite (when it comes to gameplay) and eventually Infinite. So, would you kindly give this game a try?
Popular Post ZitMeatloaf
#48 - Nippon Marathon "Nippon Legend" I first saw this game on a PlayStation Access stream and thought it looked like a fun, ridiculous game that would be great for family game time. Certainly a success in that regard as my son loves it and even my wife, who normally doesn't stray out of her Mario Kart and Smash Ultimate comfort zones, saw the game and said "That looks fun, I want to play it!" It was recently on sale for half price so I grabbed it. It was a good pickup for the price. In addition to the marathon races, the game also has a couple of additional party games; a crazy shopping cart bowling game, and a Wipeout-style obstacle course mode. This game also satisfies the letter N in my quest for a complete A-Z platinum collection. 8 more letters to go...
Popular Post SoapMacTavish222
#358 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PS4. This was honestly the best Call of Duty released in I don't even know how long. They got rid of all the futuristic crap finally and just went back to a solid story with good character development. The trophies themselves were pretty easy to get, there wasn't anything Online based in the standard trophy list. The special ops missions were a blast and even though I have finished the platinum, I am still playing the spec ops missions. There are a couple things that I am not a fan of. Aside from the fact that the game is relatively short (it was a fantastic campaign though) the amount of storage space required for this game is pretty ridiculous. There have been so many updates for this game that are required that it takes up a lot of space.

Heroic mode has no saving in levels, so dying is not allowed... or you're back to the start of the current one. I'll rate the difficulty an 8/10.
