Popular Post ZoutjeNL
Platinum #28 Life is Strange Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 1 I was looking through my library to find a school themed game for one of the events here on PSNprofiles. Sadly I lacked on. I decided to buy the season pass for Life is Strange as the game really surprised me the first time I completed this on PC. The second time around however the impact was underwhelming, I found myself bored at times. If it was my first time playing I probably would rate it a 9 because I still think that the story is fantastic and that the impact of your choices change the game is really cool. The trophies are all straightforward, completing the chapters and finding the hidden pictures. Probably the easyiest game I will complete in a while as I tend not to play too many easy games. As I haven't played Before the Storm or Life is Strange 2 I am looking forward playing them for the first time we will see if I end up wetting my eyes like in did in this one. Popular Post Pershing24
#57 Vortech's Bane LEGO Dimensions (PS3) Well this one was pretty easy, but then again most LEGO games are easy games. There is a bit of a grind for getting all the necessary studs, but the only difficult trophy was Speedy Thing Goes In.... but using a flying character allows you to skip a few stages. This is actually the second LEGO game I've platinum since the LEGO Movie two years ago, but LEGO Dimension is slightly underrated as it has some great ideas using the toys to life concept. Thou the only two expansion pack I got was Midway Arcades and Portals, but their both very good, closest thing you'll get to Portals 3. Next platinum is either Vanquish, or Assassin Creed Rogue, probably the latter. Edited March 20, 2020 by Pershing24
Popular Post I_BREAK_U_IN_2
#160 - Titanfall 2 Mark of the Advocate I actually owned this game long before it became free from PS+ last December but never got around to playing it. I had heard so much about the infamous gauntlet trophy which didn't do much in encouraging me to go for the platinum. Finally decided to play it and go for the gauntlet trophy first, which ended up only taking me an hour to do. From then on it was smooth sailing to the platinum and I must say this game is a fun one and the multiplayer is pretty good too.
Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#289 - Lara Croft GO I have never played one of these "GO" games but it was quite fun. I didn't know what to expect but ended up with a clever puzzle game that I enjoyed more than I thought I would. Now I will admit I had to use the HINT feature on a few of the puzzles as I would try them a dozen or so times and would get frustrated because Lara would push the column instead of pulling it but for the most part it was worth the price I paid and I can recommend.

(JP) #449 - Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal (JP) These versions are entirely in Japanese / Chinese, but I barely needed to translate anything since I had already played these games not long ago and the menus are straightforward for the most part. Burst Re:Newal is my favorite game in the series, so I had the most fun there. I only have the physical stack of Bon Appétit! left in order to complete all stacks in the series. Maybe one day... A cornerstone for every soulsborne fan, right? Yeah, right. The first souls game from Hidetaka Miyazaki. And one of my favourite games of all time EVER. So this is the 2-nd time I got a platinum in this game (NA version), the first one was a couple of years ago (EU version). 3/10 - because it's not that hard, especially when you spend a 300 hours in this game already. And oh yeah - the pure bladestone trophy. This drop rate is absolutely unpredictable, last time it took 5 hours, now just only 5 munites, what a luck. Popular Post UK-Danny-93
#175 Banner Saga 3 Banner Saga 3 MasterGet all trophies. 8.92% Very Rare The Banner Saga trilogy has been one of my favourite experienceson PS4 so I'm glad to have made it a milestone Platinum. If I had to pick one game or series for people to try out this generation, I'd probally pick this one. I'm sure a lot of people would love it but the series as a whole seems very overlooked and underplayed. Set in a norse inspired fantasy world on the brink of apocalypse the game is one part decision driven oregon trail style journey and one part tactical Xcom like combat as you try to keep a caravan of refugees and warriors alive as they flee a huge army of the 'dredge' while the sun sits unmoving in the sky. The setting and atmospere of the game is compelling. The artwork, music, sound design, writing and voicework are great, improve with each game, and add a real authenticity to the world. You'll meet a large cast of characters and manage a party of scores of warriors pretty much all of whom you can get killed depending on 'bad' decisions and yet 'Stoic' managed incredibly well to infuse them with character and personality. The story is compelling, small scale and large. Each game building from the last and I really enjoyed the 'set pieces' for lack of a better term in the second and third games. Also the structure of BS3 was an interesting way to square the weight of all the choices made carried through the trilogy. I enjoyed the combat too. It's quite challenging even on normal but not so much as to be intimidating. With the large cast of characters comes a variety of abilities with some decent combo potential. One thing I've seen complaints about regarding combat is the fatc that it's often advantagous to leave injured enemies alive for awhile instead of finishing them off which can feel counterintuitive. This is because you always take alternating turns with the enemy so killing a weak enemy can result in a stronger more dangerous one moving up in the turn order and potentially taking more turns. But tbh it didn't bother me at all, it's just a principle you have to learn and incorporate into your decision making. Tip - especially in the first game armor break is probably your most important stat. Overall The Banner Saga is an excellant trilogy made by a small indie team, funded through kickstarter and I'm sure many people would enjoy it like I have if they gave it a shot. It can be picked up pretty cheap nowadays and one upshot of Corona pandemic might be that theres an audience out there with time on their hands to try out a series like this one.

Popular Post MrGarland
After several weeks, i finally managed to platinum all three games on Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, as well as a bonus platinum. I'll be covering each of them. #77 (as well as 100%) Difficulty: 4/10 (platinum), 5/10 (Extended Collection) Playtime: 16 hours Enjoyment: 8.5/10 (Excluding Brutal playthrough and speedrun) Spoiler The first game has always been the hardest one to me. Playing it in the past on PS3 helped me somewhat since i was able to memorize almost every part and thus, plan how to tackle them. Especially that water cavern section Chapter 5. Back then, it was a nightmare. But now, i only needed few attempts. Just had to pay attention to my surroundings and see where the enemies come. Other than that, it wasn't too troublesome. The playthrough on Brutal wasn't too bad, since i used tweaks. I already mentioned this once, so i'll say it again. When i first tried it without tweaks, i managed to make it all the way to Chapter 4 and i should be proud of that i did. After several tries, i couldn't get past a certain combat section (not sure which one, though), so i decided to make this run easier. Same goes to the other two games. If i ever manage to clear all three games legit, it would be the hardest thing i've ever done. It's probably never going to happen, though. Anyway, with tweaks activated, most of the game was a cake walk. That said, there were some unfair sections, like that first water jet section or the sections outside the library. I almost lost my patience on the latter. Not much else to say. The second game, however. As for my speedrun, it was quite hard. Even though i did skip some of the combat sections, i still messed up on some parts, with Chapter 5 being the worst. I missed a jump several times on that climbing section (you're on a hurry, after all), and i couldn't get that time back. I tried restarting the checkpoint as well as going back to the main menu, but no. Either i did it wrong, or the game has to be patched. I don't know. Oh, and when i went back to the main menu to see if i could get that time back, i had to walk all the way to the castle wall. That was s***. Despite the several mistakes i made, i managed to do it on my first attempt, with more than 5 minutes remaining. I also did it on one sitting, because I want to do things like this in one go whenever possible. That's my style. Same goes to other two. #78 (as well as 100%) Difficulty: 5/10 (platinum), 8/10 (Extended Collection) Playtime: 30 Hours Enjoyment: 9/10 (Excluding Brutal playthrough and speedrun) Spoiler The second game is favored by many. After all, it's a big improvement from the first game. But while i think it's an amazing game, my favorite is still Uncharted 3. I'll cover about it later. Compared to the first game, the playthrough on Crushing was much harder. While it was harder, it was a good challenge and i enjoyed it somewhat. The only thing i disliked about this run was collecting all the treasures. Treasure 80 (if you use the guide) is the worst. That jump to the other side has to be done from the precise point and it's just barely possible. Also, i happened to miss it on this run. I had get it on Brutal run. As for my Brutal playthrough, this was an absolute pain, even with tweaks. So many annoying sections where you can die quickly. My most hated part on that run was the start of Chapter 23. You have very limited cover, and there are enemies coming from everywhere. Not only that, but there are no checkpoints. This means that every time i died, i went back to the beginning. The worst part in that chapter is when you go up the first stairs, there will be more enemies coming. If you're not fast enough, you get killed. I must've spent at least 30 minutes on that part and i almost ragequit after dying so many times. But with patience and learning, i managed to do it. Then there's that speedrun. If Brutal playthrough wasn't annoying enough, this was even worse. This is the only the game where i didn't manage to do it on first attempt. I had to do a second run to get the trophy. The reason for this? I don't know what else to blame, so i'm going to say that ice cavern section. Once again, missed several jumps, but not that many. I could've make it, but exceeded the time requirement by 1,5 minutes. After redoing it, got a much better time, with more than 7 minutes remaining. #79 (as well as 100%) Difficulty: 4/10 (platinum) 6/10 (Extended Collection) Playtime: 20 hours Enjoyment: 9.5/10 (Excluding Brutal playthrough and speedrun) Spoiler I bought my PS3 back in 2011 and the first two Uncharted games were one of the first few games i've played on that console, but that happened in Q4 on that year. Before that, i happened to see a video about Sony's E3. One of the games shown was Uncharted 3. That gameplay footage, as well as the trailer following it, impacted me so much that i had to buy that game. And when i finally got it, it did not disappoint me. It was that great. For platinum, there's not much to say. The weapon kills are kind of annoying to get since you can't use tweaks to select that weapon. Memorizing where they can be obtained makes it less annoying, though. Other than that, the trophies are pretty easy. If there's anything i hate about this game, it's those Djinns you encounter near the end of the game. They take so many bullets to kill it's outrageous. Of course, any stronger weapons like shotguns and grenade launchers take less, but even so, no need to go overboard. Even the previous enemies (the guardians in Uncharted 2, for example) were tough enough. One last Brutal Playthrough. It's easier than the previous one, but there are couple of BS sections. My most hated parts are the sections in Chapters 8 and 12 where you're hanging and enemies are firing above you. You have to time your shots just perfectly. Time it wrong or miss a shot, and you die. Then there's that running section in Chapter 9. This is the worst part when it comes to this difficulty and i honestly doubt that anyone can make through that without dying at least once. It's extremely easy to die, and i had to look from YouTube to see how to do it. But even with that, i still needed some attempts before i finally got past it. At least you don't die in one hit, but even so. Have mercy. The final speedrun. With a time limit of 4 hours and 15 minutes, this was the easiest one. Even with some mistakes, i managed clear the game with about 15 minutes remaining. Also, what's with all the doughnut skins? Is that supposed to be funny? I certainly don't think so, nor was doing all three speedruns as a doughnut. It was stupid. #80 Mecho Tales (PS4 EU Version) Difficulty: 2/10 Playtime: 2 hours Enjoyment: 7/10 Spoiler There's not much to say about this one, other than it's pretty easy. The only parts i had some hard time are the first and the final boss. After learning their pattern, they're pretty easy. Same goes to other bosses. And that's pretty much it. Overall, it was fun to revisit the trilogy, considering how long it has been since i've last played them. While clearing the games on Crushing wasn't too bad, i have no intention of doing any more Brutal playthroughs. They were pretty hard for me to do, even with tweaks. As for speedruns, it was a good challenge, but i'm not a fan of those. All i can say, i'm done with them and i hope i don't have to do too many of those. With these platinums done, i can finally start playing the game i've been planning to play for a long time. I'll consider that as a reward for all the hard work i did. Popular Post Bumperklever
#118 Goat Simulator (PS4) All The Goat! Date Achieved: 20 March 2020Rarity: Uncommon (30-31%)Enjoyment: 7/10 I remember playing this when it just released on PC when 'bad & dank' games were new and refreshing. Honestly had a blast playing it back in the day, Replaying this on PS4 however lost it's magic a bit. This, maybe due to me maturing or that I have already seen all the (pop culture) references before. If you play with an open mind (so not while specifically hunt trophies) you will have a blast of a time! But the base game is not why I actually decided to play this game. I wanted to do the DLC as I have never touched it before. Hence the 100% is still coming in the near future. PS. I did 30 minutes on flappy goat. It ain't that bad.

Popular Post Zach
#160 Murdered: Soul Suspect Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 7-8hrs When you hear about this game, it doesn't sound too impressive, but it's actually pretty good! The story has a good foundation, the characters are interesting and the gameplay isn't half-bad. Unfortunately the actual game can be beat in only 3-4hrs and the platinum only takes 7-8hrs. It's honestly half story and half collectibles. I honestly feel like they added the 200+ collectibles just for filler. There's just no way around it. So unless you get this game for 20 dollars or less, it really isn't worth it. But, for the right price, it's definitely worth the play!
Popular Post AccessEngage21
#125 LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham PLATINUM Difficulty: 2/10 Fun Factor: 8.6/10 Rarity: 37,98% Time in Total: 1 Day, 5 Hours So, we meet again i guess, its been a while since i make another of this entries, but i got to get some new platinum before showing here anyway, so without more delays, here is batman 3 in lego style So lego games, it been a while since i play the last one, if i remember right, it was the harry potter one, you know, the one with the nasty framedrops after a few hours.....damn that was terrible, lucky for me this game didnt have that, so i few backstory first, i bought this game new for $5 bucks, yep, just $5 freaking new, i still cant belive it, ok that the backstory X.X Ok, so the game in general, play it in my PSTV, and love every second of it, the story if i get it, is batman and robin goes to find killer croc to save the watchtower to join the lanthers to save the world from braniac, all of place story, but pretty enjoyable in general. Now the performance, since the harry potter years 5-7, i have doubts about the lego games in general on the vita (i hear the avengers game port be just freaking terrible in general) so when i bought this batman game, i have minor expectatives in general, but damn, i was really glad to get it, performance wise, it was solid in general, just a crush and a few framesdrops in general, but nothing really serious, definitely more solid that the harry potter one by far, and really playable, since the vita versions has a more condensing hubworld and a smaller roster of unockables compare to the ps4 version, is still a solid one in content. The music is really good too, since is WB, they have access to some soundtracks of series (like batman series) and themes of movies and media (superman movie`s theme for example) and the original one is good, the voice acting is fine a guess, no complains there. Since is a LEGO game, difficulty wasnt a problem at all, hell, even some cheap platinums games like METAGAL or Back To 1995 were far more challenging in general, some time invested and ta-da!, new platinum gain i guess. In my PSTV, looks good, and the controller adjust nicely with the system in general, just some use of the touch here and there, but nothing to serious. And that really is, a good old LEGO game that actually make me feel great, and i cant recomended enough.
