Popular Post ZoutjeNL
Platinum #29 inFamous Second Son Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 5 According to PSNprofiles the most obtained platinum... I just had to join the club! Either way I never played an Infamous game before but I always liked the bright colors and the art styles. Overall I found this game allright but not outstanding. Compared to the other exclusives I played it was a bit disappointing, a short story and I found the characters nothing special. Also I found the camera pretty bad, moving so slow especially at the final boss at the expert playthrough it gave me some frustrating moments. I also got a couple times stuck where I had to restart the game. As this is one of the first exclusives I found that it still looked decent so that is a plus. I will probably play First Light in the future but I don't think I will go for the older games. Edited March 25, 2020 by ZoutjeNL

Popular Post cronocyde
Platinum #133: Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (PS4) First trophy: 9th Jul 2017 7:55:04 PM Time to platinum (real time): 2 years, 8 months, 2 weeks Time to platinum (in game time): Around 20-25 hours Platinum rarity (psnprofiles): 9.63% Game rating: 9/10 Trophy rating difficult: 6/10 I honestly think that this is the hardest Crash Bandicoot platinum of the three. The time trials can be absolutely brutal and even some "collect all the boxes" are hard as heck. Super happy to have cleaned and platinumed this one out. All I have left is the Stormy Ascent DLC on the original Crash Bandicoot and I have 100% on all three games!

Eternal also looks crazy fast paced! Intense combat, lot of parkour, some aggravating heavy enemies (Archvilles, Marauders, Whiplashes). The exploration's pretty fun, but the combat can be unfair at times, but certain weapons are nice.
Popular Post Icebrand1270
Platinum 132 RBI Baseball 20 3/25/2020 1st In The World To Platinum RBI Baseball 20!!! This is the first time RBI Baseball has a Plat... and I'm the first to earn that Plat! OOH YEAH!!! RBI Baseball returned in 2014 as an old-school game for a new generation... and has struggled to find itself. This year gives players the option to choose between Classic controls and a Modern control schematic that I refer to as "sim-lite". In other words, approaching simulation style but not quite there. For trophy purposes, most trophies require Modern controls (ex. throwing every type of pitch at least once for Everything in the Toolbox). As for my personal journey to Platinum, I still have no idea how I caught on so quickly... but I did. There are no multiplayer trophies but that doesn't mean it will be an easy time. 2 types of trophies stand out: a plethora of luck-based trophies (ex. 3 outs fielded by the same fielder in the same inning or getting 3 outs in 3 pitches) and getting 1000 RBIs, which is a staple trophy of the series. Only through playing 15+ games a day, continuously going for home runs via "charged power swings" at a "hitters' park" (ex. Yankee Stadium) and a bit of luck did I get an RBI rate of over 100 per day. And now, in a little over 8 days, I am the first in the world to Plat RBI Baseball 20. This is the second game I'm First in the World to Plat (First was 8 To Glory back in 2018). I still can't believe I'm saying that! Popular Post koozer19
#66 BioShock 2 Still one of my favorite shooters of all time, amazing atmosphere and so many different ways to play. The bee swarm was my favorite plasmid to use on ps3 and that did not change this time around. Love putting the fountain of youth tonic on, then standing in water and having unlimited swarms of bees, makes Adam gathers very easy. Guess you could call my big daddy, the bumbler...
Popular Post Saruto941
Platinum #135 - The Legend Begins God Eater Resurrection [PS4/Vita] It may have took about almost 3 and half years but after watching Season 1 on Netflix. I got my ass back into this game, to which I wasn't originally into until now! Now all I can say is....FINALLY! For this my 135th Platinum! This may have been grind but I glad I finished the story, mostly taking down oh Heavenly Father. Mostly I like to thank: WildDualism, Adaptor17, Rawdogide, and Black-Zoro15 for helping me out through some of those hellish missions to that one nasty mission that almost made me vomit...Look at you Venus
Popular Post Darghel
#65 I Am the Night (Batman: The Enemy Within) Difficulty: It's a Telltale game...nuff said! Time to complete: I took it slow because I wanted to enjoy it, so maybe 2-3 days Recommended? Well it's a nice story and a very easy platinum so... I honestly won't be long with this: the main reason why I got it this one was that I had the first one through PSN+ and I fairly enjoyed that one, so I waited for the time to grab this one and use my "choices" into the sequel. I'm not a huge fan of Telltale works after the walking dead - loved the first 2 seasons and the wolf among us the most - but It was fairly enjoyable and a much better improvement over the first in terms of technicalities (the first game glitched and even crashed a few times). Either way, me and my sister enjoyed going through and most chapters were pretty good: each chapter should be about 2-3 hours and the ending is pretty satisfying. What can I say, if you want a very quick Platinum but also enjoy a good story without much effort - and sometimes we want some relaxing games - it's worth a shot, especially if you can get it cheap. And now after a well deserved break, back to Bioshock Infinite! Edited March 26, 2020 by Darghel

Riv1404
@Shinyraver compare to Doom 2016 game is more harder i think. On harder difficulty, the gaming process become, run and shoot. You have to move all the time, even small stop can becaome death to you. @ArmoredSnowmanyes, you are totally right? Guest
Platinum #98: Far Cry 5 Enjoyment: 7/10, would be higher if not for the finicky/glitchy/hunting trophies. Difficulty: 4/10 Probably my favorite far cry so far because of how open it is, even if it has the typical open-world tropes Ubisoft basically created. The story is surprisingly scarce, mainly chiseled down to cut scenes that happen at random times while playing, but the main villain(s) is/are interesting and well-acted as always. Found out I'm surprisingly good at the multiplayer, and this comes someone who is usually genuine garbage at online shooters, so the online trophies weren't as bad as I thought they would be; especially because I thought the servers would be dead but I found matches pretty quickly. The only annoying things in terms of trophies were the throwing rocks to distract trophy because it says to do 15 but I easily did well over 50 before it popped, and the other was the hunting/fishing trophies. The main reason I found hunting obnoxious was almost solely the PTSD I now have from RDR 2. Any time I have to hunt an animal in any game I get Vietnam flashbacks of trying to not only find and study a certain bird that only spawns sometimes but also trying to kill it, find where the body landed, and skin the little fucker. Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #77: Hitman Go: Definitive Edition Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Really enjoyed myself playing this game. Because of COVID-19, I work from home now. There are a lot of times that I have nothing to do, perfect for a game like this. Some challenges were pretty hard, although it was almost always just a matter of changing the initial approach. Plat rate is high and that's because it is a easy platinum, I would recommend it to everyone who likes to puzzle. Next up: either Uncharted 4 or Playstation All Star Battle Royale. We'll see.

Lara Croft one is also decent, but prefer Hitman! Forgot all about it. Thanks for recommending, will give it another go now myself ? Latest Plat: Super Weekend Mode! Wish some of the Ratalaika Games had some more grindy trophies cause I actually enjoy some of their games more than I should. Any recommendations on some of their newer releases who are a little more challenging trophy wise? Edited March 26, 2020 by Shinyraver

Popular Post cronocyde
Platinum #134: Cosmic Star Heroine (Vita) First trophy: 8th Feb 2019 10:28:54 PM Time to platinum (real time): 1 year, 2 months, 3 days Time to platinum (in game time): Around 10 hours Platinum rarity (psnprofiles): 30.42%% Game rating: 5/10 Trophy rating difficult: 4/10 This game had a lot of potential, but missed the mark on almost every aspects. It doesn't help that I played the game on Vita I guess, because I got 5 softlocks, several crashes and a lot of performance issue. The story is uninteresting, the characters are forgettable and the combat system is honestly boring. I was super excited when I first saw the trailers, so I decided to buy it only to regret my decision. At least the platinum is easy enough with a little bit of planning. I don't recommend this game... at all.
