Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #116 A Sonic Hero Earned every trophy. You guys wanna hear a funny joke? I brought this day one. I always wanted to get the platinum of a Sonic game; I like him and his games, and I especially liked the "boost" games a la Unleashed and Generations... but the idea of playing those kinds of games at 30fps is gross to me (Played a bit of Unleashed on PS3, ew). I'll gladly just keep my PC version of Generations, thank you very much. But Forces, I though that would been it, it does run at 60fps and a pretty stable at that; and it's also on current gen systems, so no need to dig up that old PS3! ... I really should've done that, especially now since I would end up getting Generations on PS3 due to Humble Bundle. Even going though the effort of downloading a game on that pos would've been a better idea, because Forces... is not that good. Sonic Forces would actually have been "fine" if it came out early in the generation, and there were other 3D Sonic games available to play on the PS4 too. But as the only 3D one, and as a game that came out just months after Mania... oof Classic Sonic is the only part of the game that I would really call "bad" because he just plays like shit; it's hard to explain, but they somehow made him play worse than in Generations. Also, the music in his stages sound like garbage The Avatar stages just feel like Modern Sonic without the boost mechanic. They can be fun, and I appreciate that they do give a ton of customization options, but they just make me wish I was playing as Modern Sonic instead. Modern Sonic is pretty cool, but they removed the drift from Unleashed/Generations, which removes a ton of the more advanced moves you could pull off in previous games. But still, when you get into a groove, it still feels amazing, and there's just nothing else like it. ... But what really kills this game is the fact that stages take 1~2 minutes to beat, even when you play them for the first time. So right when you're having fun, the stages are done; you don't even get a proper listen of the game soundtrack, which outside of the Classic Sonic stages, there are some real jams in here. And even as short as they are, they try to pad out the stages by adding cutscenes with QTE and cutscenes... Which is very weird because Sonic games are made assuming you're gonna be replaying these stages to try and get the fastest time (And Forces definitely was made with that in mind considering the SOS missions), so when you replay a stage, you just have to keep seeing the same scenes and doing the QTE over and over again, which is very annoying, I sure hope they'll never do that again. But y'know, the game is fine. If you got it on PS+, I think it's worth a play; you can waste a afternoon with it and feel good about yourself. This platinum though? Fuck no, the amount of times it requires you to replay the stages is way too much; you basically have to play most of the stages at least 4 times to get all collectibles and do all of the missions, and let me tell you, that's no fun. And even after that, you'll still have to grind a few hours to get all honor and 100,000 rings (Who tf asks you to get 100,000 rings in a Sonic game?). It doesn't require you to invest that much time into it (Guide says 30 hours), but it sure feels like it. Rant done, I never want to play this again. EDIT: The UI in the game is really, really amazing, just retrying a stage is loads of fun because of it. Sega clearly took inspiration from Persona 5 with it; I sure hope future titles will have UI that's just as good. Popular Post ladynadiad
# 139 MeiQ Ugh, that sure was a tedious grind, though now that it is over I can honestly say that Sorcery Saga was still worse no matter what some people may say. Yes, killing 30k monsters is very tedious, but you have an item to summon monsters and can wipe most of them out in seconds rather than having to go find a monster like in Sorcery Saga, or wait for them to respawn like in Omega Quintet. The plat took me less than 80 hours in total according to my save file's time. Not really a great game though, it was fun enough for the first playthrough, but even then there are far better dungeon crawlers out there. It's a nice shiny UR plat to add to my collection at least.
Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #101 - Bastion You Done Good, 11.94% Rarity Difficulty - 8.5/10 , Time Spent - ~35 Hours , Enjoyment 6/10 Before I write anything that might make it sound otherwise, this game would get somewhere around a 3/10 difficulty and 8/10 enjoyment if it weren't for the trophy list. There's two trophies in this game that suck the fun out of it. Anyway, onward with the review. Bastion has you playing as "The Kid" who wakes up after a mysterious event called The Calamity which wipes out nearly all the population of the country of Caelondia. He eventually arrives at The Bastion, a place where people were supposed to meet once The Calamity came about, only to find one other survivor-- The Stranger. The Stranger is a wise old man with plenty of knowledge about The Bastion. He sets The Kid off on an adventure to collect Shards to repair The Bastion to its full glory, and The Kid also finds other survivors along the way to join him at The Bastion. Bastion is a more-sophisticated hack-and-slash/beat-em-up type game, with 11 different weapons that you can slash, shoot, burn, pound, and bombard enemies with. You can choose two weapons at a time, so you can have some fun playing around with different weapon combinations before settling on your favorite combos. Most of the gameplay involves doding and using these weapons to defeat enemies while wandering around dungeon maps that form around you (the pathway drops down from above or appears from below as you walk along). You pick up various items along the way, such as weapon upgrades, special skills, or mementos from the destroyed world that you can ask other characters about. The game has an awesome narrator that speaks almost consistently throughout the game. He's got a wonderful, wise, gravely voice. And then the soundtrack is also pretty good-- though you don't have many tracks throughout the game (the same music is reused throughout). I do love the actual voiced tracks in the game... they're quite intoxicating. The artwork is also really good. Don't really know what to say about it other than the fact that I enjoyed it. But then there's the trophy list... most of the trophies are very doable throughout the course of the game and NG+. There are two trophies, however, that were a bit annoying. The first of these is called Hard Bargain and is awarded when you gain 1,000,000 points in Score Attack Mode. Score Attack Mode is unlocked after completing the game along with New Game Plus. However, Score Attack Mode is annoying as it makes you start from Level 1 and you lose all your weaponry+upgrades (New Game Plus allows you to keep both of these things). You have to build combos in the game in order to generate points... and while this doesn't sound like a pain on the surface, it is in practice. Combos are made by defeating enemies quickly in succession and not taking damage; it isn't often that enough enemies are present on the map to rack up a good combo score. So you're left to take to the Dream worlds (more on these in a minute) where you fight waves of enemies, but between each wave you nearly depleat your combo meter just by waiting between waves of enemies. However, by the time you get around to attempting this trophy, you should be very well-versed in the Dream worlds because you will have likely tried for the About the Author trophy. This trophy literally haunted my dreams for close to a week... and I couldn't even beat it in my dreams-- that's how hard it was. You have to envoke all Idols-- which is a mechanism the game gives you to make the game harder by giving enemies the ability to disappear, deflect attacks, regen their health, among other things-- and fight through 30 waves of enemies, many of which contain multiple game bosses in a single wave of enemies. You're pretty much forced to play perfectly, otherwise you're dead. And it takes upwards of 30 minutes to fight through the entire Dream, and, if you're like me, you'll end up dying on the last wave of enemies time after time after time (wasting half an hour each time). I attempted this dream sequence probably upwards of 30 times-- cursing at the game like I've never cursed at a game before, waking my husband up because I'd yell loudly when defeated, having my dogs look at me like I'm a psycho-- before finally getting it. I raged so hard when attempting this trophy, that when I finally got it, I WEPT... tears of joy/anger/confusion/relief... first time for everything, I suppose. And I'm SO SURPRISED that at least this hasn't made this game an UR. It is mind-boggling that it sits at over 12% rarity. Like, how the fuck? I feel like with that rarity it shouldn't have given me that much trouble, but maybe I'm not as good at these types of games as I thought. Anyway. The game was good, with a fantastic story, fun battle equipment, and a great narrator. The trophies, however, took some of the enjoyment out of the game. Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#117 Platinum Trophy All Trophies obtained Platinum on 9th April 2020 (5 months, 4 weeks, 2 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfigher" on PlayStation 2 is the last "Ghost Recon' game I played and I didn't get to play "Advanced Warfare 2" so when I'm about to begin "Future Soldier" I was a bit hesitantly because I'm not sure whether the storyline have any connection from previous game and obviously the biggest hurdle is the online stuff. Luckily, the storyline did not follow last "Ghost Recon" game on PlayStation 2. As for the story...it just your typical military operations that goes horribly wrong, then they dispatch another team, which is "ME" to pick up the pieces. Although the story and the graphics is not the greatest but the gameplay mechanics make up the lost cause as the A.I in this is game is great at taking out enemy unlike some others games that have useless A.I partner that follows you around and this is on PlayStation 3 that released 7 to 8 years ago. I begin working on multiplayer first before switching to story campaign and I was lucky to be invited to a 12 people's boosting group from previous Tom Clancy's The Division boosting party. Damn those online trophy cause the struggles is real. Minimum of 8 players to start a public match and getting 8 peoples to boost every nights is tough but the biggest obstacle for this shiny plat come from "Daily Friend Challenge" and "20 Daily Challenge" cause every challenges I completed the next challenge requirement will increase the "X" numbers of "Kill", in a specific way or "Heal" "X" numbers of downed player and those challenges have to be done in Quick Public Matches ...so there is no way I could do it legitimately. Lastly but not least, I appreciate those guys that play a big part during my journey in "Future Soldier" online multiplayer. They are: Amonre, BATOMEISTER, Executioner0, Ka2210l, Lyrikk, Max, mrzizch, NiTRO--X_, Phoenix0594 and seanquan. Special credit must give to Executioner0 for getting his 3 PS3 running at the same time multiple times during our sleepless nights and Lyirkk for patiently guiding me through DMZ networks setup so I could host the game and play campaign co-op with seanquan, though it didn't really work out smoothly due to our commitment in real life and network connectivity problem but luckily Phoenix jump in by hosting the game and pull us through the campaign. In fact if wasn't for them calling my Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier may still sitting in my ICG backlog. Thank you so much guys! Popular Post ladynadiad
# 140 Cosmic Star Heroine (PS4) Already had played this on Vita and was just wiping out the second stack since it's cross buy and I don't like leaving stacks of games I own incomplete. Definitely prefer the Vita version because the graphic style is much more suited to a smaller screen and I also ran into trophy glitches on the PS4 version that weren't present on the Vita version. Had four trophies in total decide not to unlock when they should so I had to redo those bosses multiple times to finally get them to work and get this plat. That was rather frustrating when the experience on the Vita version was much better and the trophies all unlocked when they should. That and a second playthrough just made it more obvious to me how cliche the story is and how much of a Mary Sue the protagonist is.
Popular Post FinalFan
#98 Untitled Goose Game (PS4) HONK! HONK! HONK! HONK! HONK! HONK! This game is way much better than Goat Simulator. I really liked its peaceful and pure artstyle. It's very relaxing while you have to act like a jerk to the humans in order to clear your task list. Also, I have to mention the nice idea with the sound design when things are getting dangerous for you. About the trophies, well, you have to do every single task, some of the hidden ones are smart and some others will require you to move your goose carefully, especially think about the one involving the cabbage or scoring a goal ⚽. Of course, you'll happen to be angry at the game when proceeding to speedrun attempts for each zone, this is what speedruns are bout, after all ?. Especially with Back garden and Pub area as you don't have that much space to fool the humans when they'll be after you. The final task ? to get to the end of the game was quite surprising and completely changed the way to approach the stealth aspect of this game. Overall, a short (my fastest with 5h30) but satisfying experience! ?

Spoiler "Because of the extreme amount of bass, listeners discretion is advised" The saws hits just as hard as the bass. The music, the level design, the spotlight, James Bond, but really hard yet awesome level. Noooooooo!!! Blue Square!!! A music from Shovel Knight. A cute will-o'-wisp dancing to the beat.... while vibing the scythe. Probably one of the most iconic VGM gets a funny yet the hardest level in this game.

Popular Post Deluziion90
Platinum - 276 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Is That All You Got?Earn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Campaign Remastered. Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 4.5/10 (7.5/10 for the <19.7 seconds run trophy took me a while to get that) Total time: 1 day 19 hours The 360 no scopes, the amount of nukes, the screaming autistic kids in the lobbies, racism, rage and salt. So many crazy and funny moments back in the day when it got released. I've put over 1000 hours in the PC version and was actually really good with no scoping and made it legit to prestige 10. I've had so many rl friends who played this and we lived for this game back in the day. So seeing this gem as a remastered I just had to get the platinum. And less then 2 days later I have it. The trophies are all very straight forward as you can expect from these new remastered games. There's a veteran run, a no death run and a bunch of misc trophies to do something extra. ..like shooting clowns.. The immortal trophy got me triggered at some points because of stupid deaths but only took me around 4 hours of getting through the game. Then there is one specific trophy.. The Student Surpasses the MasterBeat BX time in 'S.S.D.D.'. Funny enough it took me a while to get this and when I got this.. I lol'd less then an hour later I had over 10 messages on PSN if I wanted to shareplay help these people. I didn't really mind if I was consistent but it was one lucky run so everybody should just keep trying themselves in the end. overall great game and brought back a lot of memories Edited April 16, 2020 by Deluziion90
Popular Post Akeachi
#9 & 500th trophy milestone Devil May Cry 4 Enjoyment : 9/10 Difficulty : 5/10 (Personally) Time : 40ish hours This game has the most deep combat in any Hack n' slash game, even surpassing DMC5 (Although I prefer 5) But the thing is you won't get much out of this game if you're not playing it on PC because of the lack of content here and the lack of a training/void mode to experiment with your tools Also personally I don't like this game's bosses (except Credo, he's one of my favourite bosses ever) The game has some really weird design choices with the worst Enemies in the hole series imo And by the lack of content I meant the missions for Dante since it's basically Nero's missions backwards Plat-wise it's really Overrated in terms of difficulty, I found everything easy because Lady/Trish makes the S-Ranks a breeze (except mission 16 on DMD) I S-Ranked all of the missions on my first try except a few missions like 16 & 20 The only hard trophy in this game is finishing Bloody Palace with Trish which is really stressful but pretty doable. I got it on my second attempt the almost infinite DT glitch which really benefited against Blitz made this really manageable but didn't really use it for other things since I was really afraid of Blitz and always saving it for them Nero/Dante/Vergil's BP are pretty easy because of their super costumes Lady's BP is just time consuming since you can just spam charged pistols while jumping and turning your camera away, that way the enemies can't even hit you because of the programming of this game so it just comes to patience All-in-all I find this game time consuming more than difficult imo so don't be afraid to get it I've made it my 500th trophy Milestone because the platinum screenshot looks sick! Popular Post Whitelightnin683
#191 Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Conqueror of the HinterlandsUnlock all trophies for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Enjoyment: 8/10 Time: 400~600 hrs (including base game) Difficulty: 5.5/10 I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I first picked up World two years ago with it being my first MH game, but it far exceeded any expectations I would've had. Iceborne did not disappoint me. With this expansion comes two new locations in Seliana ( a new base of operations and home for hunters in the region ) and the Hoarfrost Reach where most of the new battles take place. The last location ( The Guiding Lands) unlocks after beating the main story and serves as a convenient endgame grinding area now that all monsters can spawn there. Master Rank brings the difficulty of previous MH games G-rank and is a step above the base game. The new monsters are a lot tougher and I experienced my fair share of cart trips to the camp. As such, I personally recommend getting used to the new clutch claw mechanic as it can weaken monsters limbs and outright flinch shot them into walls causing a lot of damage. The platinum will once again be a test of time and patience with the rng of gold crowns and treasure hunts. Capcom has done an amazing job and yet there is still more to come. With constant content updates, this game is a great to play for hours on end or for those waiting for the next release.

postofficebuddy
Platinum #112: Rayman Legends (PS4) talk about a long and frustrating grind. Thankfully there’s still a good sized player base so getting diamond trophies is manageable in the challenges. I’m also working on the Vita version. Still at least 3 weeks to go for that one. I started on FF7 Remake but I might avoid getting the platinum until later when I can make it a milestone plat. Maybe 125.
Popular Post ahmedelebiary
#150 The Last of Us Fun 10/10 Diff 6/10 2.5 playthroughs (NG++) Time: 60 hours total (30 campaign, 30 MP) Oh man from where do I start ? I got the MP trophies done last year but the disc was faulty when it came to campaign so it glitched on me on Chapter 3 and it was unplayable. Had to wait for a digital copy to get campaign started. The Last of Us is already well known for being one of the best games out there, but I refused to read or watch anything for it to avoid spoilers, also ignored all reviews until I try it myself and I am so glad I did. TLoU has that special magical aroura that sucks you in from the very first Prologue as "That" Sarah's scene makes me cry so hard every damn time. The characters acting and voice acting were exceptional and I liked how they used the real voice actors to act the movements of their parts not just record audio in a studio, this is what Beyond Two Souls also did, it was also amazing how Clickers, Runners and Stalkers had their own voice actor.. The relationship between Joel and Ellie as it develops from just a "cargo" to "you will never be my daughter and I will never be your dad" all the way to "BABY GIRL" was really beautiful character development.. the side (secondary) characters were also very well made and had their interesting stories, I am talking about Tess, Tommy, Sam, Henry, Bill and the bad boy David " Nolan North " -The depression and tragedy with Henry and Sam's character man on man -THAT FUCKING SCENE between Ellie and David -The badass savage Joel interrogation The story was filled or emotional moments..The soundtracks were on spot to hit you right in the feels.. Different journyes and adventures across all 4 seasons of the year was fun and that giraffe scene made my heart melt The gameplay was fantastic and smooth.. Brutal, Stealthy, Tactical. The ending left me speechless tbh I liked how they left it open to the player's morals .. it is neither good or bad, it is up to you to decide, just like Life is Strange but the difference here is that it is forced and you can't change it. I can't really go on without spoiling it so whoever still haven't played this masterpiece you're in for one helluva ride It can't be for nothing
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 53) Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Perfect Sleuth Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 6/10 The first Digimon game I ever played. I saw a friend playing it and since I love collecting, I was interested in getting all of the Digimon, sort of like completing the entire pokedex. The game is fine, but I was somehow not ready for the story. Most of the things you had to do were just… too Japanese. There’s a quest where you have to ask advice for a guy on how to get a girlfriend, there’s a quest where you have to tell a stalker to back off, and there’s a short little dialog where a girl extorts her boss for a raise because otherwise she’ll claim he sexually assaulted her which is completely played for laughs. Okay… Collecting the Digimon was fun though and I like the system they have in place where you can pretty much endlessly evolve and devolve them to get new Digimon. I loved slowly completing my field guide and going trying to find ways to get the Digimon I didn’t have yet. The main story and characters are actually pretty interesting and all characters are in different places at the end of the game than they were at the beginning. But I hated all the filler in the game. The sidequests were incredibly boring and you can’t skip any of the dialogue so you have to sit through the entire thing. The whole cyber sleuth aspect of the game was for me the weakest point and I wasn't interested in it at all. Just give me a game where I have to collect all the Digimon. I don't need all this nonsense around it. The game also has a lot of RNG. You have to get certain cases, but the cases are random so you’ll spend about an hour loading your save file until you get the right one. The same goes for the slot machine in which you have to get all of the medals. You’ll spend about 30 minutes per slot machine getting all the medals and there are 11 of them! The combat for all of the random encounters is very basic, but the boss fights can be tricky. After beating the game, the Colloseum was actually very challenging and I had to try the master cup a shitload of times before a finally beat it. I didn’t like it at the time, but when I finally beat it, it did feel very rewarding. The coolest thing for me was probably creating a party of all of the Digimon that you want and it’s really cool that your main party walks with you in every level. I absolutely loved the Dark Masters in the anime, so it was really cool having them in my team ?. All in all though, I didn’t enjoy my time with the game that much. There was just too much stuff that didn’t really interest me and I had to force myself through most of the game. There isn’t that much endgame content, so your final hours are spent mostly grinding out your Digimon to finally beat the Master Cup. Oh and I missed one of the medals, so I had to play all the way up to level 13 again to get the final one ⚰️ So yeah, collecting the Digimon and completing the field guide was really fun, but I’m glad this game is over and I don’t see myself every playing a Digimon game again. Popular Post Alantor32
Platinum #39: Secret of Mana What to say about this remake of a game I never got to play when I was a kid? Two words... Absolutely awesome! When I preordered this remake, it was riddled with bugs, but over time, it got patched out and I get to enjoy this game a few years later. Now the gameplay is cool, but the drop rates can be a bit grindy that you need paitence for. But the weapon orb and magic systems made this game fun for me. And the characters are enjoyable too. The story has drama, humor, friendship and sadness that anyone who played the original can once again enjoy (If there is any who wants to play this game). You can also grab two friends to play with in co-op. Overall, I enjoyed this remake of a classic I never got to play when I was a kid. And I platinumed it just in time for the Trials of Mana remake. The game is smaller than I initially thought and it felt OOOOOOLLLLLD. Surprisingly it was really fun and a nice change of pace from my latest JRPG binge. My biggest complaint is with the game is that it is very laggy and suffers from performance issues. GTAV is way more detailed and runs way better than this game. It is a game from 2009 though and the issues didn't detract from the experience too much. Enjoyment: 8/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2/10

Some of the gameplay felt a little bit like 2K18 and that game is considered one of the worst games in the franchise; certainly in this generation. Despite some issues I have, this game is much easier than last year because there's no emphasis on online trophies. Thankfully, I don't have to beat cheap scrubs at their own game. Going undefeated in My team isn't required. Although the collection count increased this year, it still wasn't that bad. Lastly, I'd like to thank @Paully3433. Popular Post cpt_und3rp4nts91
Heavy Rain! My 3rd Platinum overall but I'm slowly building my collection. Loved the game... maybe less so after doing the endings many many many... many many times, however each ending gave a little bit more to the story so it was well worth it. I did get a bit worried when I didn't see a trophy pop which would have meant going way back to early on in the game, but luckily I just hadn't seen it and my trophy list on the PS app on my phone hadn't updated after I checked. Would recommend the game and the Platinum to anyone, even if it's not their style or genre. Also, not much of a spoiler, but, Spoiler Scott Shelby is 44, not 48 like the news report says... weird. Now onto my next one...
