Popular Post punkshepherd
Ive been waiting a long time to say this; DRAGON QUEST 11 It gets no pictures because i want you to experience it for yourself. Enjoyment: 10 Difficulty: 4 It spits on the face of modern rpgs with its meaty TURN BASED combat. Great story, great characters, good for beginners, plenty of content. Its almost flawless in my eyes. Play it. Like the RPGs of old. Its one of my favourite games ever. Easy top 3. I wont forget this game in a hurry ??
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 221 - FINAL FANTASY VII: REMAKE Final Fantasy VII Remake is a great example of a remake done well - the amount of love put into this game is undeniable. Since FFVII is not my favourite in the series, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed going back to Midgar - the gameplay is fantastic and I really hope SE continues to use it on future entries. For now, I’ll just enjoy my time with Aerith, I’m so glad they gave her so much screen time, she is a keeper.
Popular Post sephiroth4424
#196 Rainbow Skies (ps4) Rainbow Skies Winner Team Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Rain Skies improved some things compared to Rainbow Moon (like being able to run faster or using an airship) but made a lot of unnecessary changes as well. A had a lot of trouble navigating, many areas where locked because of time-travel and also i didn't like the fact that i had to waste resources on temporary party members (i mean weak monsters). During postgame i had to lower the battle stars in order to avoid grinding. Plat took around the same time like RM, 65 hours (minus the 35 hours afk) Edited April 20, 2020 by sephiroth4424
Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #154 - Dokuro (PSVITA) Phew, DONE! This game has always been in the back of my mind since I played it about 7 years ago and I wanted to complete it before my PS+ runs out. I did try to use a guide, but there wasn't a guide that I could specifically find for the PSVITA to help me with the puzzles, so I just powered through. The game is a platform puzzler that tasks you with guiding a princess through a dark lord's castle. The puzzles are clever and the music in the various areas is pretty well done. The thing that bugged me the most was the hit box of the hero. A lot of my deaths seemed unfair but it didn't happen too much to really get under my skin. This was most noticeable in boss fights and situations when you need to react quickly. I wasn't expecting to have as much fun as I did, but I had a good time finishing this little game up. Popular Post Ala-Arska
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (PS Vita) The Force Awakens Unlock all Trophies "Chewie, we're home." Surprisingly, the amount of Midichlorians is strong with this one. I've always avoided the handheld version of LSW: TFA, simply because of many bad stories about it. Corrupted saves, glitchy progress saving, missing characters and missions, freezes...the list goes on. I HAD NONE OF THOSE. Pure gaming joy from start to finish. What a lucky bastard I am Then again, I don't think I've ever encountered any game-breaking bugs in any LEGO titles I've played. Blocking! But, here we have anything a Star Wars (and LEGO) fan could hope, in a miniature scale of course. Flying and fps shooting with Millennium Falcon! Planet hubs! Classic characters and levels! The music! I played as Darth Vader every goddamn moment I possibly could. A bobblehead-mode would've been nice, because Spaceballs! One of the better LEGOs for Vita, for sure. All aboard for the nostalgia train, and hope the tracks stay intact
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#443 - Shenmue II Yeah, this was not great. This game was chore central. Pacing still feels off, even with the option to ait. Excessive amounts of quic time events and a walking segment that takes an hour towards the end of the game. Doesn't live up to the hype at all and it seems to me that the demand for a sequel was exclusevely tied to wanting a conclusion to the story and not more of the riveting gameplay this seres had to offer. Popular Post cpt_und3rp4nts91
Well, it's been a good couple of days for me, cleaning up some of my back catalogue from before I was into trophies. Far Cry 5 - We Always Had Faith In You I enjoyed this game, good mix of open world exploration, combat and watching a bear rip people to pieces. It does away with some previous Far Cry rubbish but keeps all the good bits what with vehicles, weapon customisation, etc. The story doesn't make sense, they seemed to add in some weird "super natural" shit or something; I dunno, I think they just tried a little too hard or I just didn't understand it. Main game trophies were pretty simple with a few proving to be a bit tricky after end game. The online arcade trophies take a little bit of time but a boosting session made it pretty easy. Was my first time using PSNP to find people to play with for trophies and it was great; we got it done nice and simple, all there willing to help out and get through it, so thank you guys for helping me with this. Burnout Paradise Remastered - Burnout Paradise Elite What can I say, it's a Burnout game, it's arcadey and fun with awesome crashes! I used to love Burnout 3 Takedown on the PS2 when I was a kid and, this may be the nostalgia talking but, I still think Takedown is better than Paradise! Great soundtrack as with any Burnout game, with one caveat... I fucking HATE Guns n Roses! So hearing "Paradise CIty" every time I'd start the game was easily the worst part of the experience (I used to start the game with the sound muted). The trophies were easy in this, you don't even need to find 100% of the collectibles and the Burnout license (where you need to win 90 events) wasn't even much of a grind at all. The online stuff was fun and thanks again to the great people of PSNP for helping with those; it was cool to see a load of us get the Platinum at once. My one little gripe with this game (and a few games these days); why does it have to be open world? I get what they've done, made a whole city you can explore and there are trophies linked to it. but it's an arcade racer, I can't be bothered driving all the way back to the city for the next race after my last one finished in the middle of nowhere! That and the fact you can't place custom way points on the map and you can't fast travel, even to be able to go between Junk Yards would make it better. The Burnout World Tour of Burnout 3 worked perfectly, the addition of open world (and taking away proper crash events!) added nothing to the game. Everything is open world these days, look at No Man's Sky, it's an open world open world simulator... we don't need more open world for the sake of it. Spider-Man - Be Greater More nostalgia here for me, I loved Spider-Man 2 on PS2, what an incredible game; and this... superb! So much of my time on this game is spent swinging around the city just being Spider-Man (and unlike Burnout Paradise, this definitely benefits from being open world). The story was OK, the leveling up and skills were handled very well and and the customisation, with so many suits to choose from (and you don't even have to pay for them which seems to be the norm for a lot of games these days) all with their own suit powers too, really worked with whatever play style you're going for. As for the trophies, there was nothing too taxing, I came back to this a couple of months after beating the main game so had a few hours of clean up to do. There wasn't one thing that annoyed me about getting the last bits for the Platinum, except maybe Task Master's drone challenges. Would definitely recommend for a fun, easy Plat. Up next, cleaning up Jedi Fallen Order.

Popular Post RedSkyKing
#41 WipEout Omega Collection Good Lord, was this supper infuriating to get. If I hadn’t already platinumed the Vita version this would’ve been a lot harder for me, but I digress, it was stil extremely difficult. Having to perfect my technique in order to beat Zico took tremendous amounts of concentration (and some lose to my sanity ?) It was super satisfying when I finally beat it, and would probably do it again. Maybe I’ll attempt it on PS3 ? Popular Post Carol
#185 Zombie Army 4: Dead War How's that for a slice of fried Platinum? Win all other trophies to take your place as the world's greatest apocalypse survivor. Playing with other people is, possibly, what I like doing the most in gaming, so when a new multiplayer-based game is released, I find it hard to resist. This was what happened with this game. After trying and really enjoying Sniper Elite 4, I was curious about these zombie games, where you fight Hitler's hordes of zombie soldiers. Zombie Army 4 is quite an entertaining and enjoyable game, although I still like the main Sniper Elite games more. I actually found the gameplay a bit dull, especially compared to similar games, like "World War Z", that has a very dynamic and challenging gameplay. WWZ is hard to master, whereas I felt I became a ZA4 veteran in less than a week. These nazi hordes were way too easy to defeat, especially if you're playing in a full team of four players. Trophy-wise, the platinum was easy and straightforward. Most trophies just come naturally, while you play. There's just a bit of grind to get to level 100, but nothing too bad.

Popular Post EIdain
Platinum #48 - DiRT Rally 2.0Completionist It's been a while since I last played a racing game, so I was looking forward to playing something a bit different here. It's a great racing sim and I really enjoyed having a game I could put some music or a podcast on and grind away at. But in terms of breadth of content this was a stark contrast to the last DiRT game I played back in 2009. It looks like a lot of the events have been broken out and sold as DLC which is pretty disappointing, because it can get pretty repetitive racing on the same few tracks and stages over and over. It's a pretty straightforward trophy list with the exception of one trophy which will make or break most people's platinum's. I'm also not a fan of the time-gated nature of a couple of the trophies. Happy to get my 2nd platinum of this lockdown and my second rarest platinum.Difficulty: 7/10 - Mileage will vary depending on how difficult you find one trophy.Enjoyment: 7/10Playtime: 30~ hours, will take you a minimum of two weeks real time because of time-gating. Popular Post cronocyde
Platinum #138: Aces of the Luftwaffe Squadron (PS4) First trophy: 25th Nov 2018 9:45:38 PM Time to platinum (real time): 1 year, 4 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, 6 hours Time to platinum (in game time): Around 25 hours Platinum rarity (PSNProfiles): 19.71% Game rating: 6.5/10 Trophy rating difficult: 6/10 This game is a really cool shoot em' up and I LOVE shoot em' up games. The bosses are really cool and the story is also enjoyable. The art style is also very flashy, even though sometimes it's really hard to see the enemies on the screen. Why the 6.5 rating then? The game is very grindy and it's a shame. Not only in terms of trophy, but you actually need to grind to get past some levels as your ships are just not strong enough. So you need to replay and replay the same levels over and over again and it's a shame because the game is really cool, just very unbalanced.
Popular Post Champ147
#151: Crystar Fun Factor: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 This game was actually a blast to play. While the gameplay itself could use a little work and they for sure need to add more varieties of monsters, the story by itself kept me wanting more. It's a very dark story all based around death and people's desires. The base premise is you killed your own sister and are on a quest to revive her. To avoid spoilers I won't go into any further detail and just say the story was awesome and that's what easily kept me engaged and glued to the game. Plus, while I'm usually not keen on developers using the same image for all their trophies, this one is an exception, just look at the cute innocent Thelema.

Popular Post JaM
#314 Dragon Quest Heroes II Glory Hunter Awarded for successfully acquiring every trophy. https://i.imgur.com/JOTFxZp_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium Can you guess who I prefer more? It is over... It is finally over T_T I have this game for a while now and I have been stalling it since I have read that this game is very grindy. Weeks ago, I had at itch to play Musou(I am still waiting for Western release date of Persona 5 Scramble Atlus) so I decided to play this game. The gameplay felt the same with the first DQH but it felt less Mosou this time and felt more like YS-like ARPG. Well, I really didn't mind it since I was having fun and I kinda liked the plot... Yes, WAS! Then the real nightmare happened, getting the plat aka Grind/RNG fest. At first glance, it looks not that bad with getting all Puff Puffs of every caharacters(1~ hour gameplay with each character) then it escalated quickly in getting Level 20 of every weapon efficiency. Then when you think it is over, you will realize that it is far from over... Hours of praying to RNGesus to get the rare drop from a monster(I hate you Agoomulator)... Eye rolling to sponges called Wanted Monsters... And then back again to praying to RNGesus to get the Uber weapons(I started to lose my faith in RNGesus at one point, it took me hours just to get Terry's Uber weapon - luckily I love Hiroshi Kamiya)... It felt like it never ends.... Plus, I had to play the game from start to end Solo!!! And the AI of party members are like Donald from KH 1 and 2... On a bright side... I finished 4 Season of Community and 3 seasons of Elite(don't judge and also, Forever FTW) It was so repetitive that before post game, Cesar and Maribel are always in my party and I got so tired of using them hours later in post game. Overall, fun gameplay with lots of combination to choose with many playable characters compared to first game but a very grindy platinum if you are playing solo. Popular Post Gommes_
#111 The Wolf Among Us Full Moon I wanted to know what all the fuzz was about and I really liked Tales from the Borderlands and The Walking Dead. So when I visited a friend I saw this game in his shelve and I just had to borrow it. The game was good and the world building superb. The story however was just not that outstanding. Good, no doubt about that but nothing more. I also wanted to see more of the city and I think that Telltale could've worked more on the "pulp factor". Btw. Bigby is a great character but I think with a voice over like in Sin City he could've even work better. Anyway I had my fun with it and I am excited how season 2 will look!

Popular Post Darghel
#69 Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Victor! (Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory....wow that's a mouthful) Difficulty: Fairly easy but very time consuming Time to Complete: about 70 hours (it's mostly grinding) Recommended: with a guide, yes. Without? Eeeh... Hey this is the first time I get to do 2 plats in a day! I was planning to give the 69th spot for this game considering the game - and the fact that half of the cast is a bunch of half-naked goddesses is also part of this - so after a 7-year pause I finally got myself into playing this and get the plat...and boy it was a chore. I forgot why I originally quit in the first place: the scouts system and the fact the game totally relies on RNG made it just annoying to play without a guide and the quests gave absolutely no clue on where to go for completing them. Not only that but scouts are also necessary for unlocking dungeons and additional enemies, EVERYTHING! As I said without a guide this game can take from a week to probably weeks, MONTHS if you got no clue. Even with 20+ scouts with me I still had to reload my save several times...Oh well at least the game is short and the endings took me only a few hours to get. The only reason I got the platinum for this is that I wanted to give the 69 spot to some specific and I thought this one fit the bill...but if it was for me I wouldn't have tried right now and got something else. Oh well, at least with this I'm finally done with the original trilogy on ps3! #70 Superhuman (Amplitude) Difficulty: Very hard depending on your music game skills Time to Complete: shouldn't take more than a few weeks if you're skilled with this kind of games! Recommended: If you're a fan of the original - and guitar hero too - yes! And this is my second plat! Done a few hours after Neptunia, this one was already done for the plat: I already did the hardest trophies like finishing all songs in Super and the 15 song campaign without failing, so only thing missing was multiplayer where I mostly did solo - my sister did help for a couple of them, so cheers lil sis! What else to say, the game isn't tough in itself actually but the main trophy that gave me trouble was Fluid Intelligence as it took me a lot of time to get it right - Astrosight and Digital Paralisys were the songs that gave me the most trouble - while clearing the songs in super took me a few days, with a few songs giving me a bit of a problem - Attack on Psychofortress is insane! And with these, I'll be needing a break...Amplitude might have taken the longest but Neptunia Victory was the one that was hard for me to play as I kept looking on guides for even the slightest thing I needed. Hoping VII is better...but I might do that another time! Edited April 22, 2020 by Darghel
Popular Post xprzemo98
WipEout Omega Collection Platinum #43 Well, it was tough, but I already had platinum in original WipEout HD, so experience in this game helped a lot. I found zones and combat in 2048 frustrating, but after choosing better ship (AG System Agility) - zones became easier. Combat is completely luck based so no tactic for that. 7/10 difficulty for me with platinum in WHD, probably 10/10 difficulty for people without that experience. Too bad I was too lazy to do a multiplayer campaign in 2048 for Vita, I'd have all 3 Wipeout platinums. Too bad.
