Guest
Platinum #101 Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 5/10 This is where I could go on a pointless spiel that no one really reads but I don't have much to say about it. I don't really play CoD games. I'm awful at them. Borrowed it from a friend to mainly get the plat for. Veteran mode was the most aggravating experience of my life. The trophies are straightforward enough, not without its bullshit ones as most games have but still technically doable. Thankfully no online trophies. I didn't hate it and Price seems cool, but it's just not my thing.
Popular Post DoctorGameGeek
Platinum #13: Time to plat: 231 hours, 48 minutes (lots of grind time acknowledged) Difficulty: 5/10 The trophy list has you doing a little bit of just about everything in game. You'll never get bored working on the list. If your attention span is nil, you can selectively work on the main story, side quests, or building up the bestiary (no trophy for this, weirdly enough, but gratifying to get 100% of the loots). Although extensive and grindy, you can get a number of achievements out of the way just playing through the main story. One quarter of the trophies are story-linked and unmissable, and another one-third can be earned without straying too far from the main story. The Awards system tracks trophy progress for you. So, just when you think the Farmer trophy is never going to happen, you can see, hey, you've got FIVE more items to forage. (Or, if you were like, you just said screw it to the main story for a bit and ran circuits around Toadstool Grove until the trophy unlocked.) The only downside is that some trophies can't be completed until post-game, and you don't really know which one that is. The last one I got was Treasure Hunter, and that was because I had to get Merchant Seals post-game to unlock more maps to buy. Enjoyment: 6/10 YAY: overall solid story once main plot point resolves, lovable protagonists and solid banter, PLENTY to do in game before hitting level cap BOO: monsters not worth developing overall, hard to grind defense gear; sharp difficulty spike end/post-game Difficulty is manageable due to the Battle Rank system. You fight X enough of battles at one rank. As long as the monsters are comparable or higher-level than you, you can unlock additional ranks. Monster stats ramp up significantly except for their HP and MP. In return, you get keys that unlock new areas in the overworld map, some of which hold solid treasures or help you get 100% exploration. Like Rainbow Moon before it, Skies gives you a level cap and sends monsters 20+ levels ahead of you. Real time-sinks include forging early gear and developing monster allies. At best, they can kick in support skills and buffs for your team, but they wilt when attacked. By end- and especially in post-game, not many formations leave them protected from one-hit kills. Had I to do the game over again, I would have just ignored monsters entirely except for the one side quest chain they matter and focused on building my main team. That way, I might have reached the highest Battle Rank and not waste time reviving my dead weight. These gripes aside, this is a fun turn-based RPG that doesn't take itself too seriously. The A plot is kinda cheesy, but the characters are lovable; and unlike the first game, the main team of three can cover virtually anything the game throws at it (except post-game ambushes, haha). The good news is that you can earn the platinum trophy without fully 100% completing everything in game. And really, by the end, I was ready to stop. ?
Popular Post Reaperberri
#5: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) This is a great game! The graphics are really good and super realistic. The story is pretty decent as well. I loved the fact that the trophies are only singleplayer related. Playing the campaign on veteran is not a piece of cake, but definitely achievable as long as you play slow. Did it in 2 playthroughs, first on Recruit to enjoy the story and get all the trophies, and the last on veteran for the last trophy.

Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Platinum #175 - Atari Flashback Classics Volume 3 You might think a collection of old Atari games probably wouldn't be much fun, right? And you know what, you're right. But all 3 volumes have ultra rare platinum trophies so I figured I might as well give them a shot. This particular volume only has 3 platinum achievers right now (including myself) but it could easily have many more if more players knew about the cloud save exploit which basically lets you save scum your way through the entire collection. Some of you should give these games a shot! You'd get a reasonably simple UR plat and experience a bit of gaming history. In the meantime, I did manage to become the #1 fastest platinum achiever for all 3 volumes in this series (which is kinda neat). ? Popular Post SirDave1988
# 114 Uncharted 2 Among Thieves Remastered (PS4) PlatinumEarn all Uncharted 2: Among Thieves™ Remastered Trophies Another enjoyable run through a classic, was just as good as I remember it originally, made better by it running sliky smooth on the PS4. This was the first time though that I started this game on the hardest difficulty to save a playthrough and therefore time, and it made earning the plat much more enjoyable, so I'm gonna do the same for UC3 remastered definitely. Yeah, not much else to say really. 3rd plat for this month alone, largely due to the current situation. Resident Evil 3 should be next!

Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #56 - Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash Difficulty Rating 2/10 Enjoyment Rating 8/10 Uncommon - 22.97% We are entering an age where everything needs to be politically correct or else cancel culture will come after said media. Senran Kagura is a franchise that went against giving itself blue checkmarks across the board and is all about providing busty, thicc cuties for male entertainment. However, I have this sinking feeling that it’s about to change for the worst. This is still the newest game in the series as of writing this platinum summary (not counting the Burst remake) but somewhere around a year ago, the producer of Senran Kagura left Marvelous Entertainment due to having restrictions on his creative freedom. One has no clue how the series will end up looking from this point forward. Probably much more tame, but I sure hope I’m wrong about that. Senran Kagura always has been what it is currently. To change that would be blasphemous, but only time will tell if Senran Kagura 7EVEN will end up being as voluptuous and delicious as the previous titles. This may be the last good and most lewd game in the series. It is a treasure that should be cherished by all men of culture. Snag yourself a copy while there is still time, for it already a rare breed of software. This title in particular is a spin off of sorts while remaining canon at the same time. Instead of being the usual hack n’ slash, it takes a different approach of being a third person shooter using what I can only assume are highly powered water guns. The closest thing I can compare it to is probably Splatoon. Mainly cause you have two competing teams trying to spray each other, but both are still very different from one another. I can’t say it would ever become my competitive shooter of choice ? But I do really like what I see here. Peach Beach Splash makes for a nice single player experience worthy of its trophy run with a story that takes itself in a more lighthearted approach than the usual mainline games. Even the teachers from the good and evil ninja academies (Kiriya and Suzune) are completely out of character, but that doesn’t make their chemistry any less hilarious ? This platinum is very easy if not a bit of a grind. There are no missable trophies to worry about, so you can take it at your own pace. Play the story mode, play the tournament mode, so miscellaneous things in battle and you will soon see the platinum is yours I recommend leveling up the mini gun (or is it called the gatling gun?) It’s the best weapon and your AI partners will perform amazingly with it. The game becomes a cake walk with you and your entire team with this weapon. It takes quite a few cards to upgrade everything the trophy list expects of you. So it’s best to upgrade only what you are really going to use and save the rest for later. You could always upgrade a set of one thing, pop the trophy, quit the game without it autosaving, go back in and upgrade other items with your hard earned cards Very simple, you won’t have any trouble. Just expect to put some time into gaining lots of cards though. Best girl? My infatuation for Hibari has not changed across the four Senran Kagura games I have played. She may not be wearing her gym uniform by default in this game, but the dressing room allows me to stuff her phat ass back into the bloomers she belongs in ? I can only hope the future of Senran Kagura is a bright one, even if it doesn’t involve Kenichiro Takaki any longer ): I’ll be praying that the “Righteous Boobage Producer” will soon bring us cultured software once again, whether it’s using Senran Kagura or a completely new IP entirely. He said we have his word, so I will wait patiently for him to make good on that promise ?

Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #43 Tomb Raider Anniversary Enjoy: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 There is not too much what I can say about this game, just that I liked just as much as Tomb raider Legend and its interesting how the combat and puzzle system change from one game to another. The combats are not exactly what takes time in this game but rather to figure out how to go through the levels. Other than the previous one, this game doesn't offer combats with human enemies as most of tomb raider entries i've touched so far, you fight mainly with animals and some kind of odd creatures. Bosses are actually not complicated at all, not even in the highest difficulty level. I still prefer the newest entries than the old ones. The most annoying part of getting the platinum were the time trials, in some levels we have to let every second count.
Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #107 - Everybody's Gone to the Rapture The Pattern Is Mine, 17.82% Rarity Difficulty - 1/10 , Time Spent - ~6 Hours , Enjoyment 6/10 Everybody's Gone to the Rapture tells the story of a town that is hit by some kind of epidemic and everyone ends up disappearing. It is up to the nameless protagonist to piece together what happened to the town by finding the memories of various characters as well as listening to voice recordings. I had shied away from playing this game because I heard extremely mixed reviews about it. Some people said it was fantastic (which the internet seems to mostly agree with), but then there's a camp of players that said this game was awful. After playing it, I can certainly see where the latter folks have formed their views, but I personally didn't think the game was terrible. You can't go into this game thinking that it will provide any more gameplay than just walking around and sometimes interacting with things; it is labeled correctly as a walking sim... there's really nothing else this game could be classified as except maybe a "mystery" game. One of the biggest qualms I've heard is that the player travels too slowly... I actually didn't think the pace was terrible most of the time, but I can see where people would want a more brisk walk. The story of this game is great. However, I did follow a video walkthrough from start to finish that led me to all of the possible narrative in the game; it is very easy to miss certain pieces of the story if you don't know which areas of the game to visit. Some of the story is also told non-sequentially, which can be a little confusing. I did end up having some unanswered questions at the end of the game, but I read a great article at Kotaku that pieced together everything brought up in the game. I wish I could have been able to understand the game without reading outside resources, but at least I feel that I have a full understanding of the game. Parts of the narrative did make me tear up... The other thing about the game is that it is graphically stunning and has an amazing soundtrack. Definitely hits some great high notes in those departments. One thing that wasn't so fun was the trophy list. There are tons of collectibles which, unless you follow some type of video guide, you aren't going to find (it's even too hard to describe in a text guide where some of these things are). There are also a good number of trophies which just involve you waiting in certain parts of town for several minutes... that's pretty boring. And then there's one trophy that glitched on me (the one that the guide lists as buggy) so it took a third runthrough of the game... which, fortunately, only took about 25 minutes or so because you can literally traverse the entire map without encountering a single piece of the story. I would have given this game a slightly higher rating if it weren't for the fact that the trophies were dull at times (and buggy), but I suppose you can't expect a super interesting trophy list from a walking sim. The fact that the story was a little hard to piece together also docked some enjoyment points. Overall, though, I think I'd recommend this game to someone wanting a faily quick and painless platinum. Pretty sure the only reason why it is so rare is because it was offered on PS+ at one time. Edited April 29, 2020 by eigen-space

Popular Post DF007gamer
PLATINUM #159 NIOH PS4 You Are Nioh DIFFICULTY - 4/10 ENJOYMENT - 9/10 PLATINUM TIME - 120 HRS RARITY - 16.85% DIFFICULTY - Personally I thought I would have had a harder time with Nioh then what I thought but it was not so. That been said if you going to try and rush the game you will get you ass get kicked and handed to you. The most difficulty part of the game for me was the first three bosses for not having the right gear/magic/ninjutsu. Once you get pass that and grind for the right stats and gear then it gets much easier. Sometimes I'd die more from falling off a cliff or into water then actually to a enemy. Lots of my mistakes and dying were actually from myself instead of the game design. Going back to the first boss with my higher level character which I'd die so many times to kick his ass felt good. ENJOYMENT - I enjoyed Nioh alot as I always do with games like these which have interesting lore. If you do abit of reseach on each boss and on the world lore you'll understand the game better. Actually enjoyed helping other players online once you know the map inside out. Showing the newbies where some of the Kodamas are and where gear are was nice. If you a newbie first try and do most of the areas by yourself before you summon another player. It just makes you enjoy the game better. I had no problem with the double bosses because I prepared the whole game with my build in mind for them. If you been depending on other players to help you with all the other bosses then you will struggle here as there is no help for you. That's about it and please if you going to rush through NIOH with alot of help from other players then you will struggle with the final double bosses which you have to do solo. Just take you time and explore and enjoy the game for what it is for this is not meant to be a cheap 5 min platinum. Popular Post Mayellie
#21 - Everybody's Gone to the Rapture I bought this game on launch, no clue why. Had some money in my PSN wallet to blow, so I went ahead without reading reviews of any kind. That's not something I ever do, but I did it that once. Needless to say, it was the first and last time I purchased a game without checking reviews. Now, it's not a bad game in general, but personally, I did not enjoy it at all. The walking pace is very slow and there's no running option. I also found the story to be quite lackluster. However, taking in-game screenshots being a hobby of mine, it was a beautiful game to look at. I started the story in 2015, then put it down and didn't return to it until 2017, when I attempted to get its platinum three times before giving up. Mind you, this game takes about 5 hours to complete its story. I felt pretty taunted by its platinum again yesterday, despite not being into trophy hunting. Gave the platinum a final shot, and voilà!
