Popular Post Zanreo
#34: Megadimension Master Completed Neptunia VII! Another trophy cleanup I put off for way too long... while I've been through grinds before in both Neptunia and other games, the annoying Senmuu Labyrinth just kept me away from this plat... so I decided to finally tackle it (thanks to the map in the guide), get a huge level boost with the Metal Dogoo (got from levels 50-60something to 90something in just a few fights!), and from there everything went much faster. Other than that, I really enjoyed this game while playing through it some years back and it's one of my fave Neptunia games x3 Edited April 30, 2020 by Zanreo

As you can see, it's time for backlog time! I don't want to buy any more new games until I finish all the games I bought along the years and this one was on my list. Now 2 years later my friend got the game and offered to boost with him so we managed to get the trophy in 10 hours. Now the real fun begins. 20.000.000 zeni grind. I still had 18 million zeni to go when I was done with all my trophies but like all my games when I start with something I can't quit. So I decided the most recent version of doing a low hp tournament which is around 3-5 minutes and grants you 30.000 zeni. I did this over and over and over and over... Day in and day out almost 10 hours each day including a remote ps4 auto keyboard which granted me around 300k every night. This was a grind of 6 days of non stop doing the same thing over. It's the first time I even had dreams about a game it just took over my life the past week which isn't healthy. I'll never again do a grind like this again because this was just to painful. Popular Post Akeachi
#12 - Transformers Devastation Rarity : 0.94% (PSNP) Enjoyment : 7/10 Difficulty : 5/10 (Personally) Time : about 25-30ish hours I'm not a transformers fan, I just watched Transformers Prime when I was a kid and I liked it. So I came into this game with little knowledge about the series. I played this game because I like the games from Platinum Games Studio (Metal Gear Rising is my favourite game from them) The game was really fun... For the first couple of playthroughs Unfortunately, the gameplay was very mashy with not much depth or room to be creative. I also didn't like that all the characters' playthroughs share the same dialogue, I thought every character had they're on comments on the stuff happening because my 1st playthough was with Optimus Prime but turns out they all share the same dialogue, even in their playthroughs, Optimus Prime is the one commenting The visuals were really good, I like the style of it but the levels didn't help it because they're really bland, boring and empty and they all look the same Plat-wise it's not hard, it's a matter of Patience and a little luck with the A.I because the SS ranking in this game is not about playing perfectly, it's about farming points. I recommend using Sideswipe in your commander S Rank Playthough and farm reversal headshots with your assault rifle and then spam rush attacks when you run out of ammo and you'll get a free SS rank. You can also put your Save on a USB or PS+ cloud to save time and be wary not to miss any battles as that will void your SS Rank immediately even if you SS Rank every other checkpoint The No-Damage Boss Trophies were really easy since you can just reload your checkpoint if you get hit and still get the trophy, it was made easier because I got lucky and got the Devstator's boss weapon at S Rank which let me kill all the bosses in 4-5 hits Mission #6 boss was a little annoying though 35 minutes ago, Deluziion90 said: Platinum #279 - Dragon Ball FighterZ Trophy TriumphantAcquire all trophies Fun: Really? They are dense with atmosphere and have great gameplay. And how they connect each other is amazing, especially if you have played Burial at Sea Episode 1 & 2. Before going further into praising these games, I have to thank two of the greatest trophy hunters here that have helped me get through the infamous difficulty 1999 Mode in BioShock Infinite: @KingGuy420 for general tips on tackling 1999 Mode, and @crash for Gear setups recommendation. My journey in the BioShock world hasn't finished yet: I haven't touched BioShock 2, but I might play it later. For now, let me enjoy the rest of the downloadable contents of Infinite, and I also urge every single one of you to play this amazing franchise since a new one is coming. Popular Post Conor
#57- MASS EFFECT (PS3) N7 Elite Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time Taken: 9 Months, 1 Week & 2 Days (85 Hours in-game) Rarity: 2.1% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 6.83% Very Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Medal of Valor- Complete 1 Mass Effect playthrough on the Insanity difficulty setting. Do not change the setting "HOLD THE LINE! ENEMIES EVERYWHERE! GO GO GO! I WILL DESTROY YOU! ENEMIES EVERYWHERE! I WILL DESTROY YOU! YOU MUST DIE!" The Mass Effect trilogy was one of my favourite series of the previous generation and one of the few games I went for a full Gamerscore on Xbox. Even though the first game was always the most dated of the three, and pretty badly too in some areas, it is still a fantastic game with a great story and characters. It was a latecomer to the PS3 but I'm very glad that it eventually came out so we can actually play it and carry our decisions forward. However, this is easily the worst version of the game. I don't like talking a lot of bad but the amount of bugs, freezes and glitches I encountered was very annoying, including a freeze on the final loading screen after I had felled the final boss on Insanity difficulty. Also seemed to freeze a lot when I went to talk to Kaiden. The game is also missing the 'Pinnacle Station' DLC, due to corruption of the source code. Not the greatest piece of DLC ever made but it still means the game is incomplete on PS3. Mechanically, the game is dated quite a bit. The shooting feels clunky and giving every enemies massive damage-resistance powers makes Insanity a real slog. The way the trophies are set up really doesn't allow for a lot of flexibility in play style since you have to play a lot of the game with certain squadmates rather than mixing and matching on a mission-to-mission basis, as the game was really meant to be played, as well as requires grinding with both Adept and Engineer classes to get the powers trophies since squadmate use of them doesn't count . While the inventory and upgrade system is more robust than future titles, a lot of it feels like squandering points with very little noticeable benefit and once you acquire certain weapons and armour the rest becomes useless. You end up with max cash and omni-gel very quickly. The stiff character animations during dialogue are pretty daft as well but, yes, it was made in 2007 and it was quite an accomplishment for its time. Also, the repetitive enemy encounter lines really grated in almost a hundred hours of play time! "ENEMIES EVERYWHERE!" Because my previous run of the game was with a male Shepard, I decided to go with a FemShep this time around, and on the first playthrough I was as mean and bitchy as possible, although some choices felt a little too cold so I couldn't bring myself to do a pure Renegade run. It does feel like the FemShep option was tacked on as there isn't much that distinguishes it from a male Shepard run, though Jennifer Hale's voice work was superb. I look forward to taking Laura Shepard through the next two titles. A pity Kaiden isn't as fun a character as Ashley, though I didn't particularly mind Spoiler leaving her behind on Virmire, in fact her sacrificing herself for the good of the galaxy made for a good redemption arc for her space racism! Overall, I love the story of this game so it was worth another three playthoughs, but due to the technical shortcomings of this version, any future playthroughs will be on Xbox or PC. Popular Post sephiroth4424
#198 Wasteland 2 King of the Wasteland Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Continuing my journey with tactical rpgs, i decided to try a western one (not that Rainbow Moon/Skies are considered jrpgs). It's a good game but a little unbalanced. Regarding tactics, the most important thing is the beginning and how you will spread the skills between your 4 members. It's the difference between having an easy time and a really hard one, even on easy difficulty. It has questlines with many outcomes depending your choices which can lead to shocking events. Funny game, not so trophy-hunting friendly though, many things can go wrong and you must keep plenty of different saves if you don't want to play multiple playthroughs. I had to revert to previous saves many times, even losing hours of playing. I could have given it a better score, but at least for me, the game crashed around 20-25 times after reaching 50% of the story which was a bummer

Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 167! Dead or School 完全制覇 - All complete English trophies offline, Japanese trophies online... Anyway, a 2D hack 'n' slash metroid game, but, unlike most of them you already see the map of every level, and all the collectibles and sidequests, so no need to wander around. The combat system is fun: you can use three different weapons (sword, gun, rocket launcher), upgrade them and add two accessories to every weapon in order to increase your stats or add extra effects. Also the skill tree is nice, but there should be a zoom mode in order to see the entire tree. The story is more or less the same of every apocalyptic game/movie: humanity turned into zombies, the few survivors escaped into the underground and lived there for 70 years... Until the daughter of the chief decided to go back to the surface and conquer it because... She wants to go to school! ... Really? Luckily there are a couple of interesting plot twists. The graphics look good, not great, but some textures and enemies intro are really ugly. And there isn't a great variety of enemies. But some puzzles for the collectibles are really brilliant! What else? For the last two levels I switched the difficulty to easy beacuse I was tired of facing hoards of enemies and I wanted to see the ending. And, since you have no healing item, every time you die you are kicked back to the last checkpoint and you have to face again every single "forced" battle, even if you had already cleared them in your previous attempt. This is the only annoying issue... And actually there's another one: the main protagonic design. In the different static cutscenes sometimes she looks completely different. In the end, this is just a nice game after the atrociuos grinding of Lapis x Labyrinth. Platinum screenshot! "Good morning" is not really correct, now there should be "Good night"!
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #502: Difficulty: 3/10 Playtime: 30 minutes to an hour Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Nothing much to say here other than it's another bit of decent platforming action published by Victory Road (not the PPV where Jeff Hardy showed up to wrestle out of his ever-loving gourd), who just really need to get their heads in the game regarding this whole region stacking business, huh? Anyways, Chop is Dish (and yes, that is its real name! Just go with it) is your average "Michelin chef has his prized ham stolen by spooky, scary skeletons and deviled demons, and must travel the ends of his oddly food themed earth to get it back" story. Classic Sephistoclean introspection if ever a game contained it. With shotguns and molotovs well in hand, it's time to grab them cakes! It doesn't do anything new with the formula, nor is it an amazing usage of it in the first place, but it's fun enough. The game doesn't outstay its welcome, and is just challenging enough to ensure you need keep your head in the game at all times. Actually, less seasoned platformers may well come to require the use of its Game Over-dodging load exploit more than once. The trophies are easy enough but a few of them are awkwardly implemented. Some of them require you to die in certain ways five times, but the game only tracks this statistic within your current playthrough, and if you have fewer than five lives at any point without having popped them (and chances are you will) you will have to replay a decent chunk of the game just to pop these trophies. This is how I lost my chance at the leaderboards. Not fun. Ultimatelty, some quick and easy platinumi--err, platforming for an agreeable price point. Nothing you'll remember, except perhaps the protagonist's proclivity towards deeply bizarre outbursts like "Risotto in my grotto" or "Banana in my antenna". A hearty three-course meal it is not... hell, even toxic McDonald's crap is a stretch... but you should know what you're in for from the name alone. You get what you pay for... and little else.
Popular Post Angel
Platinum #149 - Crystar I don't even know where to begin with talking about this game and my experience with it. Crystar was a game I was so looking forward to playing as it's unique art style, characters and story plot intrigued me but as I finally had the chance to play it, it just became a huge disappointment. Although it had an amazing and interesting story, especially towards the true ending; the gameplay is what was the nail in the coffin for me. The game mechanics always stay the same, running over what feels like the same hallway like dungeons that make you run around in circles at a dead end to find the exit to another similar floor (they even make you replay the same 3 final chapters for story progress). Battle mechanics are really barebones that you just basically button smash the same button over with some dash here and there for a boss. Rei's clunky boots (I was using her swimsuit outfit which made it more cringey as she is barefooted) when she runs is far more memorable as the music sounds so generic and forgetful, but the intro opening is so amazing that I wished I heard more music and cutscenes like that ingame but sadly no, never. I can continue but I don't want it to turn even longer than it already is heh. Platinum wise, it's an easy one that is very straightforward with no missables at all but I hardly had any fun that I just wanted to quickly finish this game up as it's been unfinished for 2 months now and would love to start playing my first Persona game which is Royal or FF7R. With a closing note I normally recommend games that I just platinumed but I don't with Crystar, I see that it's currently in the Big in Japan sale and even at that discount I wouldn't purchase it. Thank you for your time, wishing you the best on your next platinum and hoping you are safe.

Popular Post Darghel
#71 Honorary S.O.S. Member (428: Shibuya Scramble) Difficulty: Very easy, especially if you use a guide Time to Complete: 30 hours Recommended: if you're not into VN games, it's an easy plat at least! Total score: 7/10 I remember a friend mentioning this game on discord and I had no idea about its existence until I saw a copy of it on a local Gamestop. I didn't buy it there though cause it was 50 euros and frankly I'm scared of VN games: due to their lack of gameplay they sole reliance is on their story which means that if the story doesn't click with me, it's practically garbage for me. That's why I prefer rpgs: if their story suck, and sometimes they do, then at least I get to play the game! Thankfully Shibuya Scramble has "some" gameplay elements (sorta): the story is about 5 characters (later you get a couple more) and how their actions will change the fate of the other 4 and so on, which is what I was talking about gameplay element: each decision may or may not lead to a bad end in another route which gives a sort of "puzzle game" vibe to the game, forcing you to think how to proceed. The only mechanic I hated was the jump: occasionally the game will "keep you out" until you unlock it via another route by "jumping" to another character, which allows you to proceed with the story. This mechanic may sound nice at first but it ends up being very frustrating and not very intuitive as some jumps are hidden behind some very obscure choices. For example to Jump to another character, I had to choose another, very similar option, with the only difference that he spoke a name WHICH was the jump! I'm not going to lie that I had to use a guide once or twice because it wasn't very easy sometimes, but not all that bad. What else to say, it's not too bad, my sister and I really enjoyed it and had some very nice twists near the end. The side-content was a bit of a hit or miss and unlocking all bad ends was boring but necessary to get all endings. But the platinum is fairly easy and if you don't care about following its story you can just skip it and go for the trophies using a guide. Definitely not bad and I hope the next VN I may play will be as good if not better!
