Popular Post Akeachi
#13 - Super Time Force Ultra Enjoyment : 7/10 (because of helladeck levels) Difficulty : 5-6/10 Personally Time : About 15ish hours /100% Rarity : 2.46% This game is really fun, it has the most unique idea to collectibles and I kinda enjoyed collecting them, although they got annoying after a while because of shit placements that sometimes make it it impossible to get them because you killed a certain enemy in the past by mistake which forces you to repeat the level The humor is good? I like the references here and there but the gameplay... Not so much, my main issue is that you can't aim with your right stick so the aiming is really clunky and you'll be forced to move to aim diagonally or anywhere which leads to stupid deaths Platinum-wise everything was really easy except the Helladeck levels... They weren't hard persay but they were really annoying and tedious, espically Helladeck level #37 (I think?)
Popular Post WayfarerFox
#157 - Assassin's Creed Unity Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Don't know what it was about this game but I did not enjoy it this time around. There just seems to be more issues and glitches than what it's worth. The plot is a little dull as well in all honesty. Set in the French Revolution era this could of been a fantastic setting for a gruesome yet authentic Assassin's Creed game you know? What is it really? Glorified Romeo and Juliet sim. The characters just aren't that interesting. Arno is a pretty good assassin but they held him back quite a bit with all the lovey stuff really. Elise is just annoying as hell. I've heard nothing but praise for her but every time she was on my screen she was just irritating. Used Arno for her own vengeance and if he didn't do as she asked, he was pretty much a dick. Yeaaaaaaaaah, no. I don't know the story overall just wasn't that good. Great setting, wasted potential. Gameplay was hit and miss with me as well, the revamped parkour from your usual AC formula kept it flowing really well, no stupid jumps off some places just to move all the way around just to get the spot again. Climb leap is a saviour. Combat was just pretty much the same honestly except you have to time the parries so you can strike. I felt that when you get a rhythym though and you used stuff like pistols for quick shot or smoke bomb to get a few extra hits in then it would crash. I lost count the amount of times it wouldn't let me parry, strike or even run away for that matter so I had to stand there and get hit, lose a ton of health until the game woke up and decided I wanted to do something. The quick shot with the pistol is just straight up broke as well, when you get the Gold plated pistol which is the fastest and best pistol on the game, using quick shot with that may as well be called takes 5 minutes a shot or can't be arsed taking a shot. Luckily though all the co-op missions can be done on your own. You can get all the sync points on your own etc. The only thing you need someone for is the Revive and the 10 co-op sync kills and that's it. Some of the co-op missions were better than the actual story missions which was disappointing. The only positive thing about the game is that you got to see French Revolution, some parts of it at least. Shame they had to turn it into a love story though. The gameplay was good when it worked, the customisation was good to. Oh and the addition of the murder mysteries was a nice concept that they added in. I liked them too. Ohh and for those wondering what the platinum is like, 20% story, 80% collectibles which have no value, it's just money. I think I finished the game with about 1million in the games currency. Now it's time to juggle AC Syndicate, or AC jhjshsjhsoshoje as my playstation likes to call it with the russian language. That and Yakuza 0. Much much better games. hittheroadbucky
Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 So I’d seen a couple youtubers play this and noticed that the first and second game were on sale so I decided to pick them up. Honestly surprised it’s an ultra rare plat as there’s not really anything difficult about it ? also the guide rates it as a 6 which seems a bit steep. Either way, I had a lot of fun with it and would definitely recommend grabbing it ? Not sure when I’ll play the next one because I’m pretty close to the fallout 76 plat and I’d rather that be a milestone than the escapists 2 ?
Ghost
Super Super Trophy Platinum difficulty rating: 4/10 Fun factor: 9/10 Platinum image: Spoiler This game caught me by surprise when it hit . I enjoyed it a lot. Memory Lane: it reminded me when I use to play Top Gear 2 on Super Nintendo back around 1996-1997. The game was pretty easy overall. The Gentleman car worked like a charm on the master tournament. There's a lot of races to complete between all modes: World Tour has 100 races Tournament has 96 races Endurance has 157 races The music was great. The devs at Aquiris Game Studios got the music composer who worked on Top Gear. The game's composer also included a hidden marriage proposal to his longtime girlfriend in the game with the assent of the development team, which was discovered by fans but kept secret until he was ready to share the story. Next up: Tekken 7, Final Fantasy 7 Remake and maybe Bioshock 2 MP Spoiler Spoiler Edited May 4, 2020 by Ghost update

Popular Post ZoutjeNL
#33 Donut County Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 1/10 This title always looked fun to me. The raccoon or the style something that made it stand out to me. It is a game I usually don't play I like a relaxing game once in a while but I did not notice that the platinum rate was that high! It will probably remain my highest platinum rate forever as I tend not to play the spam titles. Even though been unaware of the high rate of plat I still had some fun with the title I found the writing hilarious and with such a small team it was a pretty fun short ride.

Popular Post Whitelightnin683
#193 Final Fantasy VII Remake Master of FateEarn all FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE trophies. Enjoyment: 8/10 Time: ~70hrs Difficulty: 4/10 So begins my first dip into one of the best FF games, and looking back, should've been my starting point in this series (no offense to XV). The characters and scenery are beautiful, and are highlighted by many of the cinematic cutscenes. I like what I see so far from the story, but some parts (namely the whispers of fate) were a bit underwhelming and I doubt it'll have great plot significance. The sidequests/activities were fun, offering a good distraction from what is otherwise a short and linear rpg. The combat took some getting used at first, but feels extremely satisfying to master. Hard mode isn't as daunting with a good materia setup and understanding boss mechanics, not to mention some characters and accessories are OP (Barrett and Gotterdamnerung for example). Now I want to play the original all of a sudden, which I have in the backlog.

I held off for so long (and forgot about it) because people said one part in one of the stories was so hard like Titanfall 2's Gauntlet trophy and that CoD training trophy, but I ended up getting it in about 3 minutes of trying... Leveling up the classes to level 2 seemed to take less than an hour each because 2xp was on and then suddenly i had this trophy.
Popular Post cr1s
#457 & Trophy #20,000 - Mortal Kombat (PS3) Platinum Trophy You've unlocked all Trophies! Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10 I've had this game from way back in the day thanks to PlayStation Plus, but it wasn't until they announced the server shutdown in March that I started it. I was in the mood for a fighting game and decided to make this one a milestone as I thought it'd make for a great one. My second PS3 helped big time here as it allowed me to self-boost the online trophies (which took me a 6-hour session to obtain) and speed up the "spend 24 hours with each character" grind by regularly switching between my two PS3s. Yes, they're both still alive, thankfully. *wipes forehead* The game itself was quite fun. This was my first foray into the series and I wasn't entirely sure what to expect (other than some of the Fatalities that I had seen beforehand), but I enjoyed my time with it. It comes with a variety of game modes, the main ones being Story Mode, Arcade Ladder, Challenge Tower, and Online. I found the hardest things in the game to be: Discovering Hidden Kombatant 1: Defeating Shang Tsung while winning both rounds with a Flawless Victory was tricky because he likes to be unpredictable with his moves. In the end, I spammed Scorpion's spear attack until I was lucky enough to get it done. Tower Missions #269 and #275: One features 3 Shao Kahns and the other 3 Goros. The hardest thing here was to get the timing down for Stryker's gun attack and the jump uppercut method respectively. #300 wasn't nearly as bad thanks to regenerating health and only 1 Shao Kahn to contend with. That's pretty much it. The rest was straightforward, albeit grindy. I'm very excited to have gotten to 20,000 trophies and chosen this platinum as that milestone. I'm definitely gonna play X and 11 in the future. I'd better buy and start playing X ASAP because of that Invasion Mode...

Popular Post ShinigamiSensei-
#157: VAMPYR Time is on my sideEarn all trophies Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Yes, this game have flaws, i loved the characters, but the story have some hiccups as certain things feel weakly set-up or lack pay-off. Some of the combat felt pretty wonky, there's no fast travels so you have to walk here and there again and again doing side missions and stuff and sadly, the loading times doesn't make it any easier. However, I loved the world of Vampyr, and investigating its cast and finding out their secrets, the true nature of some characters, their motivations and how they relate was a fun and unique experience. The game has a wonderful atmosphere and oozes plenty enough charm to hide its faults and when the combat works it has a pretty nice rhythm. So, there’s a good, if occasionally clunky game here, with some really interesting ideas. That central pull of vampiric power at the expense of people’s lives and the evident consequences of all your actions works pretty well. This definitely feels like a cult game that requires a certain kind of taste. I loved it, but it's not for everyone. Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #88 Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX This is an atelier game, so if you played one, read or watched something about the others, you know what to expect. In this game, however, I think they did something different: this game is more story driven than to others. Normally the protagonist need to prove herself to someone through requests, and this makes her meet many friends, and retributing their support by helping them achieve their personal goals. This time our protagonist, Ayesha, needs to save her sister, Nio, who suddenly disappeared. In doing so she not only needs the support of her friends, but she also needs to discover what she really is: an alchemist. During her journey, not only she reflect about what alchemy is and what can be done with it, but Ayesha also thinks and see the effects that the alchemy of the past left on her dusk world, that is nearing it's end. And not only the story, the characters too are more mature this time around. But dont worry, the essence of Atelier game is very present. There are plenty of funny, relaxing and cute moments in this game. But the tone of the story was not the only thing they changed. The combat was revamped from the Arland series, with the addition of a positional system. You can move during battles, which allow you to attack an enemy by being closer or farther, from the front or behind, which yields different effects depending of the characters. The combat is the part of the Atelier games with the smaller focus, and although I know this series is differents from other JRPGs, I think it's a shame, because their combat systems are very good. The possibility of moving was an welcome layer to the combat. They also changed how items are stored. For example: in all games, if you harvest 4 items, even if they're the same, they will ocuppy 4 slots in your basket / container. This time the same item stack on the same slot, making harvesting for materials far easier. Coupled with the fact that you can access your containers in 4 different places, your basket will never be full. The cointainer is infinite, or at least it is so big that you will never run out of slots for your materials. And if they changed everything, you guessed right: the alchemy system was also touched. This system is very different from the ones used in both Arland and Mystery series. This is one is more complex, and you can only really utilize it when your alchemy level is high. After I learned how it worked, I had fun with it while synthesizing the ultimate equipaments and support itens, but before it was a pain, because the ingame is explantion is very bad. Every item has 4 elemental gauges, plus the quality one. Each material item will increase one or more of the elemental gauges, in addition to quality. To increase the effects, like increase the damage the item will deal, you need to increase the gauge of the corresponding element. Traits in this game refer to how the material item will affect the syntheses process. For example: the "Well-made'' trait will increase the overral quality of the product. The key to understating the system is using those traits smartly. All synthesis itens have their own possible properties (the traits from other games), that are added when another gauge is filled while adding materials. If you want to pass a certain property from a material that you will use, you will need the Power Transfer skill, that only unlocks when your alchemy level is at 35 if I'm not wrong. Pretty hard, right? The platinum is not hard, I think the guide makes things scarier than they really are. The majority are event and ending related trophies, pretty standard for this kind of game. Clearing the game on hard is not a challenge, just follow the guide. You will spend more days, because you synthesis less items on hard, but it doesnt matter much because character events are meaningless on this run. Things are a bit harder at the beginning of the playthrough, with a spike when going to Hallos Village, but after powering up in Zweiteturm things get pretty doable. The album is easy to fill. Most entries you will acquire normally. Some require the synthesis of itens with specific properties or effects, but they're easy to do. The superbosses are not as challenging as the guide makes them. Aside from the Winged Master, all of them are easy fights. Assuming you're using the ultimate equipaments and itens advised here, stock Forbidden Capsules to use after the boss has healed thrice. This will guarantee your win. In all, Atelier Ayesha is now my favorite Atelier game. I liked Ayesha the most, and I liked the more mature tone. The changes to how the itens are stocked, and the early access to the wholesale function and equipments that improve Ayesha gives way more freedom than in the Arland games, while still having the pressure of the time system. The battle is also more engaging with the possibilies that moving around gives to you, all while hearing the fantastic OST, starting with the phenomenal opening. I wouldnt recommend this for a first time Atelier player, but if you already played another entry, you should play Ayesha ASAP. I'm sure you will also love this game.
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 222 - FINAL FANTASY XII : THE ZODIAC AGE Back in 2006 I tried this game on my PS2 and for my surprise I didn’t enjoy it - As a high schooler FF fanatic I was so disheartened 14 years later and with way more experience in rpgs and gaming, the zodiac age really surprised me. The story, side content and characters were much better than I remembered initially. On top of that the addition of 4X speed is a bliss and makes the later grinds so much better. In the end and for my surprise, I can finally say Final Fantasy XII is a great and worthwhile entry to this majestic series of RPGs. Long live Ivalice!
Popular Post ZoutjeNL
#34 Yoku's Island Express Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Yet another indie game down! A very cool one with an interesting design choice of combining the metroidvania genre with pinball. I love pinball so I enjoyed that part the most. The music is great, the art style is great. A relaxing experience. I only had to backtrack a lot. I understand this is often the case with Metroidvanias. I probably did not take the optimal path as I had to go back so many times and gotten some of the usefull upgrades a lot later so it took a bit longer for me to plat. Either way it was a fun game to change the pace from the longer titles. For some of the collectibles I recommend to have a guide open as some of the collectibles are pretty hard to figure out on your own. A small tip I can give you is to go for all the scarabs (part of the pinball maps) straight away, this saves some backtracking later. Either way, if you are up for something different, a shortish experience and you like pinball and or metroidvania I can recommend this game!
Popular Post Draps-1337
#45 Dreams Dreams is fantastic. Creating is really easy and very fun. There is also a hell of a lot of community content to keep you entertained for hours. And this platinum will take you hours... Specifically, getting to Dreamer Level 30 will take you hours. I achieved every other trophy in a little over two 10 hour days. But level 20 -> 30 took a combined total of 25 ish hours of playing/grinding to get to level 30. That said, it's very easy to have those hours melt away while you create a puzzle or level or a full game.
Popular Post Zach
#163 and milestone #7000! Final Fantasy VII Remake Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 7.5/10 Time: 89hrs Wooooooo! The FF7 Remake is just as amazing as you'd think. The cinematic cutscenes are some of the most beautiful in gaming I have ever seen. The gameplay is fast, intense, and plainly freaking awesome. I won't get into any story details because of spoilers, but I think they did really well with how they stretched the story out. Remember they took the 4-6hr (around 20% of the game) experience from the original game and it made it around 35-40hrs! The only pacing issue I had was chapter 6. It definitely felt like filler. The side quests were all decently fun and really added to the overall experience. Now, you may be asking, "Zach why did you label this a 7.5 difficulty and why did it take you 89hrs?" Uhhhh because if I'm being honest here, I sucked at hard difficulty! To avoid spoilers, I'll just mention the chapters that messed me up. Chapters 9 and 18. ESPECIALLY 18. I really sucked at this chapter on hard ya'll. However, it felt so good to beat it! Special thanks to: @Mah2c and @Omar for the tips they gave me on defeating the final boss on hard! Their Materia set up and accessory tips worked WONDERS. Top 3 chapters: Chapter 9 Chapter 12/18 (tied) Chapter 8
