Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#456 - Sagebrush Alright this is the last platinum for a while I think. Spent my day off getting these easy plats out of the way. This game was average at best, and I'm not sure why it's been so highly rated. The story is passable, the visuals are unpleasant to look at and it's unnecessarily dark. Furhtermore it's a very short experience, out of which the final 5 minutes or so consist of nothing but walking through doors. Had I not experienced far worse games throughout my years of gaming, I'd have rated this one lower. Enjoyment: 5 Difficulty: 2
Popular Post Mayellie
#22 - Assassin's Creed: Origins This was my first Assassin's Creed game, and it's set in Ptolemaic Ancient Egypt. Took me around 40 hours to complete the main story, and an additional 30 hours to grind some trophies. The story was quite good and depicts the origins of the Assassin's Creed, while includes some emotional factors that help make the characters feel alive and the player more invested in the game. You start off in Siwa, a region in northwest Egypt which is, frankly, boring, and might not have been the best place to start. I felt I trudged through that for the first few levels before I got to travel to a different region. I'm glad I stuck through because many other regions are fantastic. From Mediterranean Alexandria, where you can see the Lighthouse of Alexandria by the Great Green Sea as merchants sell their goods, to crocodile-infested Nile waters you can sail through and get some great in-game screenshots, all the way to the deserts of Giza to explore the three Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and their tombs. There's a ton of impressive detail in the lore which made the game educational, too. The map is massive, and to obtain the platinum, you need to clear every location. I wouldn't have an issue with this had the locations been pretty varied, but it's always either loot treasure, enemy camp, or animal lair. This made the game feel bloated and repetitive since the variety doesn't justify the massive size of the map and amount of locations. Overall, a good entry point to the series and an enjoyable game. - Platinum difficulty: 6/10 - Platinum grind: 8/10 - PSN Rarity: 4.1%
Popular Post Darghel
#72 Sekiro (Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) Difficulty: VERY difficulty alright! Time to Complete: About 50-60 hours (had to grind for the last trophies) Recommended: If you're looking for a challenge, yeah! Total score: 7/10 I'm very...VERY debated on this game and I can't shake the feeling that this game didn't fully click with me. I'll explain why but let me put this way: I didn't fully enjoy this game When I first saw this game I had Tenchu vibes all over: I loved Tenchu back in the ps1 and ps2 era and I wish we had another one because it was super fun! But oh well I wanted to play Sekiro a lot and I knew it was going to be hard but still I wanted to play a cool looking ninja doing stealth kills and sword fights. Well, the ninja stuff was fun for sure but the combat....not so much. Let me start with the pros: exploration is top-notch, definitely the best part of the game and the verticality added to the movement made an already big place to explore even bigger - maybe even too big? Some areas were just so damn well hidden. I also loved the areas and how varied they were - even though it recycled the last 2 areas but it's alright - and the animation was fluid and overall, It gave me a great sense of discovery that only these games really do. If there was one thing I loved in BB, was the exploration! But here's my cons and these are 1000% SUBJECTIVE (added an extra zero because its serious business yo!): I did not like the boss fights. At all. The main reason for that is mainly due to how spammy they get with their unblockables and how barely of a moment I got to counter each of them and considering there are basically 3 types of them (Sweeps, Thrusts and Grapples) I could never - EVER - figure the right one in time. I would do a boss fight for hours and the only thing that actually killed me was that damned unblockable sweep that came from nowhere! I could do the thrusts fine and STILL sometimes I would get the full hit even when doing at the right time - which means I did something wrong, or it cannot be mikiri countered! I'm probably the minority but that's just me. I also really disliked the dragonrot gimmick...mainly because it was pretty meaningless on the long run. I played ultra safe for most of the game, resting every time I would accidentally die and ress, just so i could avoid the dragonrot but even when it triggered I really didn't see much...so I was just an idiot who got scared of a gimmick that basically has no real repercussion to the game itself, minus some minor npc. Oh and I lose half of my money and hard-earned exp without having a chance to recover them! That's nice! And I was going to put this on pros but, honestly, what's the point of these skills anyway? I barely used any of them, maybe the Double Ichimonji and the whirlwind slash the most cause they were short and didn't block you in animation - at least the ichimonji can be stopped midway! The tools were good but I only ever used the firecrackers, the umbrella (amazing for the isshin fight!) and the Axe, so I felt a bit underwhelmed by how incredibly situational most items were. I dunno, I went into with good hopes and dreams, wanting to love the game but I simply didn't as much as the others did. I'm glad I got the platinum because exploration was the thing that kept me going and it was exciting to visit some of these places - Fountainhead palace was incredibly gorgeous!. But unlike BB or even Code Vein where I felt legitimately sad to part ways and move on, with BB gothic places and CV nice characters, I probably won't be missing Sekiro all that much... At least the endings are nice! I'll stick with the Purification one as canon! Edited May 8, 2020 by Darghel Just minor corrections

Guest
Platinum #110 Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 6/10 I've never finished the original and almost poetically stopped playing around the same place this one ended. I can't attest to the accuracy of its portrayal of the original, but I can absolutely say I had an incredible time playing it. I adored every character in the game and the story that tagged along with it. The combat was incredibly satisfying, and the world was beautiful. Trophies weren't anything tremendously overwhelming. Hard mode wasn't nearly as bad as the nightmare people were making it out to be. Still pretty challenging on certain bosses and certain areas but nothing impossible. Minor nitpicks here and there such as I didn't like when the game literally slowed you down by making you walk slowly for a period of time or when you had to walk across a bridge/underneath something but that's nothing to honestly complain about. It made me honestly want to play the original to see what is different and where the game will be headed. The most hyped release in this console generation, at least to me, delivered in every way and so much more. Never been more excited for a sequel.
Popular Post Armidi
#81 Resident Evil: Operation Racoon city Mr. Death: Get all trophies Enjoyment 9 Difficulty 7.5 /10 (for S, S+ Rank in all missions) I played this game because i'm grow up with Resident Evil 2 and 3 in my childhood. I appreciate the idea to impersonate an Umbrella Squad a really cool idea. It was nice to change the point of view, and to review many locations of Resident Evil 2 and 3. I really liked the campaign. And do you want to have platinum with the face of my beloved Nemesis? Priceless. As a shooter, it is not the best and I would say that it is not innovative at all, much more could have been done. I really enjoyed the character design, their classes, skills and weapons.

Thx a lot to the PSN+ !! It's a souls like game, similar to Bloodborne in terms of gameplay, that I've enjoyed very much also. The beginning is very difficult but developing your skills and character makes it easier and enjoyable.
Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #59 - Assassin's Creed III Liberation Platinum Trophy - Collect all other 44 Trophies for this Trophy 121,166 owners - 10,018 Platinum achievers for a percentage of 8.27% (average completion 26%) Enjoyment; 6/10 Difficulty; 2/10 Trophy tiles; 2/10 (reused icon assets and many dull, one-word Trophy names) Did this game change my opinion about the AssCreed series?; No I went into greater depth regarding this game in my Trophy Checklist, but I figured it sensible to include a shorter post in this thread; two months on from my last Platinum I've now completed Assassin's Creed III Liberation on Vita. A quick and relatively easy list for AssCreed standards, I could have finished this one up much earlier, but kept one easy Bronze Trophy aside until May. Why? Because my OCD has me try to get exactly 65 Trophies each month (I don't even know why that number), and the Liberation Plat didn't fit in my April schedule. Hence. The streak is now three months and running, looking forward to extending it across May. Liberation disappoints; the Trophy icons are reused across multiple Trophies, and a lot of them have very poor names ('Climber', 'Charming', 'Pickpocket', etc.), some of them clearly haven't been tested ('Tree Ninja' has bizarre requirements, 'Predator' is glitched, 'Climber' requires a number of metres no one would get even when 100%ing the game, requiring rubber banding) the game itself has very little meaningful content, and the 'multiplayer' is so poor, it would make even Facebook blush if it had been uploaded as a game to that platform. Yet I'm still happy I played it; a quick, relatively rare Platinum that isn't too difficult, and the game itself is impressive from a technical perspective - the only problem is that it simply isn't fun, an issue I have with all AssCreed games. I suggest you buy it if you own a Vita, because besides the grind and some awful forced mechanics (rear touchpad pickpocketing which DOES. NOT. WORK) this is unfortunately one of the few AAA games on the platform (well ahead of the Rata games, which are the only reliable new source of titles on Sony's forgotten handheld).

Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #155 - Final Fantasy X-2 (PS4) I can't believe it's over... X and X-2 100% complete and I still can't believe it. I loved these two games and played the hell out of both. Amazing characters, music, and world building had me hooked for somewhere close to 220 hours total. The games have aged quite a bit but they are classics that any JRPG fan could easily get into. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Batman: Arkham Knight I AM the Batman! Reclaim your city Feels like nostalgia, when trophies take ages to...............pop. I had this game on my shelf unopened for four years. Four. Years. In a retrospect I can safely say "Yeah, I'm and idiot". Because Arkham Knight is great and worth the plunge. And what a plunge it is: trillions of characters, Batmobiles, challenges and trophies. So many trophies 110 'Dings' is maybe a bit too much for any game. But gonna catch most of 'em, you know bang for ya buck and such. There's also way too much of Riddler. Or perhaps he's just an annoying piece of turd who sounds like Ace Ventura Batmobile is a new addition to the Arkham series. At first it's the coolest thing evaah!!!! with different skins and guns and whoom boom! But the game leans on it faaaar too often. Boss battles? Tanks against Batmobile. Riddles? Races with Batmobile. Half the missions? In BM. Driving that goddamn tank is like driving a goddamn tank. In high speed it's just pure luck to stay on the road. I sucked in all four wheels. Gotham City looks vast and gorgeous. Gliding through the night sky is just as exhilarating as in Arkham City, and views are phenomenal. Lots of characters, good and evil, make their appearances. I appreciated them all, and even wanted more of them! Except Riddler, f**k that guy I've always been a Marvel man and only semi into DC Comics, but these well made Arkham games make me wanna check those too. Whether a veteran or new to the series, Knight is a fine title in any ways. Play it, and see where he does get those wonderful toys
Popular Post CrimsonMercury
#30 Batman Arkham knight I AM the Batman! Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 I'm a big fan of the Batman Arkham series so I came into this with high expectations, and it didn't disappoint. Easily one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've had in a while. Everything feels so fluid and polished. And surprisingly, I never got tired of the Batmobile throughout the entire experience. The only place where I feel the game fell abit short was in its boss battles and some side missions that started to become monotonous after a while. But the game is just so much fun that I'm able to look past all its flaws and I'm still playing it even after the platinum to get the last suit. Not only is the game great but it's also packed with content and considering how cheap the premium edition is priced at nowadays during sales, it's an absolute must buy.
