Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #117 Complete the Gears of Destiny Acquire all trophies. A wacky platinum image This game is not good, but it's not bad. It's just kinda there, which is probably the worst thing a game can be these days. But there's a weird heart to this one; it almost feels like a game a kid would make. Not "A kid would make" kinda game (Game development is haaard) but more like "A game a kid wishes they could make" And, at the very least, I can tell that the people who worked on it cared a lot about it. Which just makes me more sad about the results. Ton of effort went into it, but it just feels misguided. Y'know, like what a kid would make. The lack of Voice Acting is a real shame, game feels like it was made with them being there in mind. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, but glad I played it. The trophies are garbage tho. Game took me 10 hours to finish, but had to spend another 10 on some dumb RNG trophies.

I got the MP trophies done last year but the disc was faulty when it came to campaign so it glitched on me on Chapter 3 and it was unplayable. Had to wait for a digital copy to get campaign started. The Last of Us is already well known for being one of the best games out there, but I refused to read or watch anything for it to avoid spoilers, also ignored all reviews until I try it myself and I am so glad I did. TLoU has that special magical aroura that sucks you in from the very first Prologue as "That" Sarah's scene makes me cry so hard every damn time. The characters acting and voice acting were exceptional and I liked how they used the real voice actors to act the movements of their parts not just record audio in a studio, this is what Beyond Two Souls also did, it was also amazing how Clickers, Runners and Stalkers had their own voice actor.. The relationship between Joel and Ellie as it develops from just a "cargo" to "you will never be my daughter and I will never be your dad" all the way to "BABY GIRL" was really beautiful character development.. the side (secondary) characters were also very well made and had their interesting stories, I am talking about Tess, Tommy, Sam, Henry, Bill and the bad boy David " Nolan North " -The depression and tragedy with Henry and Sam's character man on man -THAT FUCKING SCENE between Ellie and David -The badass savage Joel interrogation The story was filled or emotional moments..The soundtracks were on spot to hit you right in the feels.. Different journyes and adventures across all 4 seasons of the year was fun and that giraffe scene made my heart melt The gameplay was fantastic and smooth.. Brutal, Stealthy, Tactical. The ending left me speechless tbh I liked how they left it open to the player's morals .. it is neither good or bad, it is up to you to decide, just like Life is Strange but the difference here is that it is forced and you can't change it. I can't really go on without spoiling it so whoever still haven't played this masterpiece you're in for one helluva ride It can't be for nothing I've still got to do one of the multiplayer paths and I'm halfway through. It's been seven years now though and I really ought to get back to it!

Popular Post ViciousAly
#56 Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty Against All OddsMudokon God, Mudokon Saviour Rarity at the time of posting: 2.68% (ULTRA RARE) Had this in my backlog for a whopping 5 years! Got the game as a PS+ freebie. Had actually played the demo iirc on the PlayStation way back when it was released and at that time I didn't have much understanding of the game but the concept and everything encaptivated me a lot but I believe I couldn't find the full game to play. Fast forward to it being given as a PS+ monthly game, the sheer nostalgia it provided was amazing that I finally got to play the game that I only have played a demo of. Fortunately I had done around 75%+ of the trophies way back in 2015 (including hard mode and saving all the Mudokons), what always puts me off from trophy hunting certain games are the trophies tied to speedruns, which I really dislike. But oh well, quarantine and all pushed me to just spent the whole day today to do the speedrun and cleanup the remaining trophies. A less than 3% Ultra Rare platinum for the cabinet! Difficulty: 5/10 (just because I hate speedruns) Enjoyment: 7/10
hittheroadbucky
#40 - Fallout 76 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 4-9/10 Well this platinum was a journey, and not one I really expected to go on. I got the game a month after launch for £20 because of the dramas that surrounded it. While I somewhat enjoyed my time with it, it really lacked the personality of a Fallout game so I struggled to stay invested. Every so often I’d dip back into it but I never really made much progress. I think between December 18 and April 20 I managed to get my character to level 23 ? I was pretty excited for the Wastelanders DLC so as soon as it was released I hopped back into it and honestly it felt like a totally different game. I’ve played it pretty solidly for the past month in lockdown and invested so much time into it. Originally I was just doing the new quests, but as I was working through them with my boyfriend I ended up going back to the original ones and slowly working my way through the game. I ended up chipping away at the trophies without meaning to before deciding to seriously go for the platinum. Of course there’s still some gripes I had with the game. The main one being your stash box and how little you can fit in it ? I also struggled a bit soloing some things until I respecced my perks and picked a build for settle on, and now I can take down scorchbeasts by myself. Also as a little aside, FO76 has one of the best communities that I’ve experienced online! I’ve had so much fun with it since the update and if anyone has played it before and not gone back I definitely recommend! ?
Popular Post Cave Johnson
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X Trophy Master All trophies unlocked There are so many negative things I have to say that I'm not sure where to begin. Project Diva X is the final nail in the coffin for this series on consoles. No, I'm not counting Future Tone, an arcade game that was ported to PS4 with no regard for how it will feel to play with a controller (note: only the actual arcade version is fun). Instead of one last game with all the songs from the previous titles plus some new ones, there is a half-assed "story" and a pathetically small song list. There are only 30 songs, which already sounds bad. However, it's even worse than it sounds, as six of those are medleys. Initially, one might think this was done purposefully to sell a bunch of song packs as DLC. At least that would've been better than what really happened: there are two DLC songs. That's it. When compared to a game like IA/VT Colorful (60 songs), which likely had much less of a budget to work with, "pathetic" might not be a strong enough word. I think it is important to look at a game and its trophy list individually; it doesn't make sense to me to dislike a game just because the list is terrible. When it comes to this game, I don't think it's entirely correct to say that I hate it. It's more like I resent it for being such an abhorrent send-off for this series. On the other hand, I absolutely despise the trophy list. It's an absurd grind that demands way too much time relative to the low amount of content this game has. The guide on here says 70 hours, but that has to be some kind of joke. It's easily 100+ hours of bullshit. Maybe with god-level luck, skipping everything, and aiming for the platinum from the very beginning it can be done in 70 hours.
Draps-1337
#46 7'scarlet (vita) A straight forward Otome VN, there was a little mystery to the story which was enjoyable at first. But the true ending was super lackluster after all the other endings the game made me play to get to it. Very easy platinum. Let's hope Norn'9 VC is better!
Popular Post Intoner_Zero
Plat #143: Persona 5 Royal After 175 hrs, I've finally finished it! What a blast to play; new scenarios, new characters, updates to the battle system, some new music, extra Mementos area and Palace, and a different ending! It's definitely easier to max out Social Stats in 1 playthrough due to extra opportunities to obtain more points and I managed to max all but 2 confidants as well. Persona is one of my favorite series to play and it was really fun playing this polished version. Newcomers who are curious should definitely check out this entry! YANDERE!Akechi for President. Popular Post Condemned09
#215 Yakuza 6 The Song of Life The Song of LifeObtained all other trophies. Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Yakuza 6 is awesomeI love the story and the new characters are likable, however I feel the substories was ok, the previous Yakuza substories was better and I have to say the combat in 6 felt weird and I have to say the lack of variety heat actions felt a little disappointing. The mini games are fun as always however there a lot of contents have been removed such as pool, bowling, UFO catching and gambling they also remove the colosseum and climax battles. Yakuza 6 is definitely the easiest yakuza game to platinum unlike the previous games you don't need to %100 everything. Overall Yakuza 6 is great but no it's not the best Yakuza game.

Popular Post Viper
#187 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Remastered Julius Caesar So this was an AC game I always held in high regard...whenever I rank AC games this was top 5...so while I knew this game was going to feel dated, especially considering I love Origins and Odyssey so much...I was excited to replay it. Now, in the PS3 days, because of the online requirements I didn't even attempt the Plat...so in turn, I didn't bother with the Il Principe trophy (full syncing everything). So this time. my goal was obviously to Plat it. And I have to say...the full sync requirements absolutely RUINED this game for me...just an absolutely frustrating, unenjoyable experience.I heard in passing over the years how much the full syncs annoyed people...and now I get it. They completely go against the grain of what the gameplay is about...freedom of doing things your way. I get that the full sync is supposed to be this in-universe way of explaining that Desmond needs to do things exactly like Ezio...but I don't like it at all. Mostly because the requirements are all the WORST of the gameplay elements...tail, escort, don't get hit, don't get detected. I could see this being a thing every now and then...but almost every mission had one of those. It just got to the point where I was looking forward to a "Kill only with the hidden blade" or "Use your recruits" as those were the only ones that were ever fun. Then we have the dreaded Tank and Flying Machine 2.0 missions. I actually managed Flying Machine on my second try surprisingly enough. I desynced a few times when losing the carriages and messenger. But second attempt didn't get hit. Tank wasn't "hard" either per se (I was using the glitch), just cheap hits by the cannons. It's really the having to start the entire memory over again, that's annoying about them. If you're going to remaster games...fix your problems from before. It couldn't have been that hard to add a restart checkpoint feature.Overall...it's still AC and I love it. But this really made it so I miss the new games so much. This game shows me how far the series has really come, and that I'm really not part of the group of people that "misses the old games". This experience has likely made it so that I won't be playing Revelations any time soon because I know that's more of the same headache. Bring on Valhalla! Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#302: Platinum This one caught me by surprise in a couple of ways. The first was how easy it was for me, clocking in at a little over 6 hours from start to finish. The second way was, well, how I didn't hate it in the slightest. Don't get me wrong, it isn't what I would call a good game, but I can say I have played much worse. It DOES has my pet peeve of being a movie-based game that has little to nothing to do with the actual movie. I get not wanting to spoil the audience on events, and that a movie can change at any given time, but for me, I WANT that movie experience, however flawed it may be. I want to relive the events and key scenes from the film. Making it a prequel, or interquel, or sequel just renders the whole endeavor pointless to me because at the end of the day, all 3 story types are GUARANTEED to be ignored in the film canon. So not only am I NOT reliving and being in control of iconic moments from the movie, I also have nothing to get excited for for future sequels because nothing is being set up. Aside from that, the only other real fault I had with the game was what everyone described; the clunky unintuitive controls. But, I just can't find myself faulting the devs for this. Iron Man to me is in the same boat as Superman; flying is such a big part of the character, that it's basically a MUST in any game of theirs, and yet it always seems to be screwed up. Honest question; how do you make a character like this work? What game has managed to get this right, a seamless transition between fight and flight, ground and air? None that I know of.
Popular Post Fire
#240 - Far Cry 5 + 100% We Always Had Faith In You Obtain all the Trophies As a big fan of Far Cry franchise i can honestly say this one was big let down for me. Story wasn't too interesting at all and it was kinda short. Also radio towers are left out and to discover the whole map and locations you have to walk or ride near them. DLC's are short and can be finished in couple of hours each. Sometime down the road i'll try New Dawn, but it seems too me it has lots of similarities to this one.
