Popular Post hittheroadbucky
Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I decided to treat myself to a month of PS Now to keep me occupied for the rest of lockdown and the first game that caught my eye was Control. I knew it was a fairly recent release but other than that I didn’t know anything about it. From going in blind my initial thoughts were it was pretty surreal but I was completely on board. I also loved the creepy atmosphere that was being created. In terms of premise it wasn’t what I expected at all but it was a nice change from what I’ve been playing recently. I loved the combat in the game and the boss battles were pretty fun, and each one required utilising different skills that you learn throughout the game. Another major plus for me is there was no missable trophies so I could just enjoy the game and worry about tying up the loose ends on my list after. My only real complaint would be that it’s so short. There’s only 10 main missions and 18 side missions (although there’s other randomly generated events in game such as the alerts and countermeasures which can inflate your game time but they’re pretty much the same) so it doesn’t take too long to work through the main bulk of the story which is a shame. Overall, for being a bit of a wildcard game I really enjoyed it. I’d definitely recommend picking it up if you haven’t already ?
Popular Post snakebit10
#306 Recently I have wanted to try some games in genres I am not use to playing. I had picked up the Persona dancing games in a recent sale and I decided I would give one a go to see how it is. Knowing nothing about Persona, except the little bit of payed attention to on here. I really enjoyed my time with it. It is mostly easy. Especially using the support modifiers. If we couldn't use them, than this platinum would be much rarer. I found the characters to be pretty interesting and I may be interested in playing one of the main games sometime in the future. One last thing . I have Burn my Dread burnt into my mind.

Popular Post Reaperberri
#7: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint This game gets a lot of hate, and I can agree with some of it. I enjoyed getting the plat, it took me around 30 hours. The story is not so great, after about halfway through it I just started skipping the cutscenes. The missions are very repetitive. The combat feels really good and satisfying. The game is half arcade half realistic and I liked that about it. Fortunately, there aren't many online trophies, so I also liked that part. If you're on the fence about this game, I'd say it's overall a fun game and platinum. Edited May 19, 2020 by Reaperberri
Popular Post sk_lp_him
#58 - Persona 5 Legendary Phantom Thief Earn all trophies. What a game! This was my most out of my comfort zone game mainly because of the limited activities I can do in every game day and if it wasn't for the awesome 100% guide this platinum would've taken me much more time. Incredible game, story, characters, everything. Some day I'll do Royal and maybe the dancing games.
Popular Post Intoner_Zero
#144: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven Man, this took me forever to complete. I really love JJBA and also platted All Star Battle, so of course I had to get this. The whole game is very sleek and stylish, staying true to Jojo fashion. This title is most likely one of the few easy fighting games people can experience, but being the trash scrub I am, fighting battles wasn't a complete cakewalk for me. I'm pretty bad at trying to execute most of the moves, trying to string combos together, and would miss pulling off Heat Attacks, like, 70% of the time dammit. Playing online was pretty bad for me too, it seemed there was lag whenever I got into matches. Movement was incredibly slow, don't know how it was for the other player, but I had my ass constantly handed to me. (゚⊿゚) Doing S Rank on all Story Missions AND Extra Missions was also too much and unnecessary. But oh well, better late than never.

Popular Post Ballin-tuff
Platinum #25 - Life is Strange: Before the Storm Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Date Completed: May 12, 2020 Playthrough Time: 13h 20m 43s Specific Rating: 9.3/10 The Excellent - The actresses for Chloe (Rhianna DeVries) and Rachel (Kylie Brown) both do amazing performances of their respective characters and presented them as if they were two actual persons. - A story that deals with love, hatred, and loss of family and friends, the uneasy feelings of teenage relationships, and learning the difference between lying to someone you love in order to protect them from the truth or to manipulate and control them. A story that will surely resonate with me for years to come. - The Backtalk Challenges and Graffiti Tags are a perfect match for Chloe's personality. - A fantastic soundtrack with songs playing at appropriate times. - Amberprice. Nuff said. The Good - Beautiful art and environment design. While certain locations (Blackwell Academy, the Prices' Home) are reused from the first game, it is welcoming to revisit these locations once more. - A cast of unique characters, both new and returning. Unfortunately, most of the new characters don't get as much screen time as they deserve. - Now while the core gameplay hasn't improved much from the first game (Walk from A to B, solve this environmental puzzle), there is still that enjoyment of discovering new story/dialogue bits and talking to the game's characters. The Bad - The fate of the main antagonist is rather anticlimactic. - Disappointed with the game's length (three episodes instead of five). The Atrocious - N/A
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Resident Evil 3 So Long, RC Obtain all trophies Eww, I'd rather have a loading screen than this as a Plat image. 30 hours, says total playtime. Closer to 23 would be accurate. Or I'm just full of shit. I pre-ordered Resident Evil 3 (and RE2, Symphony of the Night and Metal Gear Solid) back in the PS1 day, when I was young(er). I remember liking a lot. A lot more than this, ummm, version, of it. Feels like this new iteration has been cutting corners on all aspects. Puzzles gone. Lots of areas gone. Making choices gone Nemesis is still here, though. Not as scary anymore and a total cheap-ass in final form. I shall call him Stunlock from now on When before appearing of Stunlock was random (or so it felt), now these scripted chases are just bleh. Still looks like a boss, mind you. Lots of action and running around collecting things, not feeling afraid at all. Doing that for 5 playthroughs was numbing. There is challenge to be had, for sure. Taking away all the in-game goodies, you're in for a world of hurt. Still not scary, though. And with or without the almighty rocket launcher, end boss Stunlock is a dirty bastard either way. Goddamn one shotting meanie I do feel Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Stunlock Reimagined is a rushed project, with oodles of good ideas and content left on the drawing table. It's still quite fun, if one takes it as it is. Short and non-spooky, but sort of fun nonetheless

Popular Post flashpool23
140 - Wolfenstein: The New Order This plat says I'm a Wolfenstein master but I wouldn't say that until I'm done with the rest of the series. As for this game, I loved it. The gameplay, environments, story, characters were all masterfully done. I regret not starting it earlier as I missed out on a new favorite experience of mine. Apart from some tough areas here and there, it's really worth going through. Seriously, excellent game.

Popular Post FLCLcrim2
#153 ConquerorEarn all Trophies. Now I enjoy all the far cry games I have played. This one was a little weird, as a direct sequel to Far Cry 5. It did not do as much as I would have hoped. The villains are boring and rarely in the game it feels like. Probably about 4 cut scenes or so. Really pretty short Plat and very easy.
Popular Post Rui_One_544
#106 Trackmania Turbo Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 9/10 Estimated Hours: 130h-150h Salt: a f*ck ton I did it, my dudes. After almost two years, including a ragequit-induced 1 year hiatus (a shout-out to whoever designed track 125), I managed to get the plat for Frustration - The Game Trackmania Turbo. The difficulty of this game is so absurd that the challenge itself is to actually not crash during a whole track, which is way easier said than done. The humongous amounts of salt that got to me, particularly during the last sections of the tracks, is out of this world. Had someone recorded me during some of my failed black runs and uploaded that footage to youtube, it would 100% be the new Greatest Freakout Ever. Can't really put into words how agonizing it was to get gold on all 200 tracks of the campaign. Imagine spending literal HOURS on a thing that should be completed in less than 2 minutes, replaying it over and over again. Big oof, eh? One could ask himself: "why tf this guy give 10/10 enjoyment to a plat he struggled so much with, he dumb lmfao". Well that's because, as much frustrating as a track can get after restarting it countless times, there's no equal feeling to finally finishing it in time for the Gold medal. It's an indescribable feeling really, a true sensation of relief and reward that I don't remember having achieved with any other games recently. So kind of a love-hate relationship that I had with this game. Ending on a more philosophical note, I must say the experience of getting this platinum taught me much about perseverance. UNS3's a pretty easy plat, if you ignore the DLC fight. UNS4 is definitely the hardest of the series, since it's much, much less lenient on S-ranks.

Popular Post DF007gamer
PLATINUM #161 Heart of Hallownest DIFFICULTY - 10/10 ENJOYMENT - 10/10 PLAT TIME - 45 HOURS PLAT RARITY 9.11% DIFFICULTY The game is not that hard until the very last pantheon. Otherwise it would be a 5/10 difficulty. Funny enough I had an easier time with the hard bosses and a hard time with the easy bosses. For example the Traitor Lord and Soul Tyrant which some find easy I had a hard time with. To make the game less difficult for yourself just make sure to get all upgrades and most charms before taking on some harder bosses otherwise you'll be slaughter. Same goes for venturing into certain areas. If you go in with an upgraded nail then you can 2 or 3 hit enemies otherwise without the right charms and nail you'll have to do double. ENJOYMENT For me personally it's a 10/10. The gameplay is so fluid along with the platforming and fighting. Any mistakes you do is because of you and not because of the games mechanics so it's very rewarding when clearing an area or beating a certain boss. The exploration is amazing especially when certain areas music and sounds change when entering it. Just make back up saves in case one of the charms break so you can reload your save. If you going to do the invincible glitch then the enjoyment will go from 10/10 to 1/10. You'll be missing out on an awesome and rewarding game. PLAT TIME I'd say the 12 hour plat time the guide gives is ridiculous. Fastest achiever was 24 hours and followed by 2 days and 4 days. So if you expecting a quick plat you can forget about it. Also Plat time depends how lucky you get with the pantheon. I had a few times when 35 mins in the last pantheon I was down to one mask shard and died. If you want a quicker plat like in 20 hours then do the invincible glitch but I'd suggest to only do it on the last pantheon otherwise you'll just trivialize the game. I'd follow @Optinooby guide on this site as it's a perfect guide to get the plat. Would have not got the plat without it because certain parts of Hollow Knight are confusing. Anyway folks that's it from me and onto my attempt on Salt & Sanctuary platinum Edited May 20, 2020 by DF007gamer
