Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#359 - The Shapeshifting Detective That's more like it. I definitely preferred this to The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker. Another FMV adventure from D'Avekki Studios and published by Wales Interactive, this follows a similar setup to the previous game albeit in a much shorter format. You play as a private detective hired to solve a murder who can shapeshift into other characters, allowing you to unlock secret conversations and private encounters with them in order to gain clues and learn more about their motives. I think I preferred this one because of it's shorter length and I had fun trying to figure out who the killer was for myself. Having a far more likeable cast helped it too. seyhano
41 Shadow of the Colossus Difficulty :4/10 Enjoyment: 2/10 Time : 45 hours Visuality, game design and view was great but cam and game controls were really trouble. I had some angry moments during the fighting with colossusas because of cam settings. The story was interesting but short. Intrepid Mortal Trophy was time consuming. At the end of game, reaching the gate was relaxing and good precious walking for me.
Popular Post flashpool23
Plat 141 - Lego City Undercover I like the design of this trophy for some reason. As for the game, the story was fun. The almost 1000 collectibles....not so much. But missing out on all of them wouldn't have made me a Cop-pletionist now would it?

Popular Post DF007gamer
PLATINUM #162 SALT AND SANTUARY PS4 SaltbornAchieve all possible trophies DIFFICULTY - 3/10 (imo) ENJOYMENT - 9/10 PLAT TIME - 9 HOURS DIFFICULTY This is not as hard as the other souls games with the right build which you can do very early but beating the first boss which the game wants you do die. You get the great sword early in the game and finding the right materials you can upgraded halfway quickly. If you follow @Optinooby youtube 3 hour guide you get you plat in no time. He explains everything perfectly. ENJOYMENT For me the placement of the Sanctuaries and save points before bosses was well placed unlike Hollow Knight for instance. That made going back for you lost salt much easier. The bosses weren't too complicated so It made it more of a relaxing encounters compared to Nioh or Bloodborne. I would highly recommend playing this game whether you going for the plat or not. If you've never played a souls game then this is a nice introduction to those types of games in a light sense. I enjoyed this game so much that I'm going to repeat the plat on the Vita. Anyways guys have a great happy trophy hunting weekend

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #509: Harvey's New Eyes Difficulty: 2.5/10 Playtime: 7-8 hours Enjoyment: 8.5/10 As good a classic 2D adventure game as I've played in a long time, made by a confident team of developers with rock-solid knowledge of the basic ingredients, but who aren't afraid to make a few inspired breaks with the medium's orthodoxy while they're at it. The wit is crisp as a spring daisy, the atmosphere is dependably grounding, and the puzzles are doggedly clever. Lilli is a pleasantly twisted orphan living in a convent, where she is an unwitting(?) instigator of trouble. Her best friend Edna is the sole escape from her dogmatic monotony. When an unfettered psychologist threatens to take Edna away, Lilli is thrust into the thick of things, and is hypnotized by a creepy red-eyed stuffed bunny (the Harvey of the title... nothing like the one from the Jimmy Stewart movie!) into losing her free will; the worst fate an adventure game protagonist could possibly suffer. Thus begins a surprisingly complex journey through the twisted mindscapes of Lilli's psyche to reclaim that which her creator may have intended as a gift, a curse, or both. As you may be able to glean, it's a more ambitious story than most in its genre, and one that succeeds as a serious bit of storytelling despite the multifarious nature of the script. It's drenched in comedic sociopathy, sure... but it's got a quiet, understated dignity to it that allows it to deliver moments of genuine pathos more than once. It's an impressive balancing act to behold, and they make it through to the end a in respectable fashion. The simple but lovingly rendered graphical framework can be deceptively effective, with small atmospheric touches making things come alive despite its pragmatic minimalism. The voice work is varied and professional-sounding; almost shocking for an indie adventure game. The music can get a little repetitive, however, as there are only a handful of tracks and they're all pretty short loops, at that. And that vocal main theme is probably one of the worst vocal pieces I've ever heard in any game. The trophy hunt itself is a bit of a drawback. Many of the trophies are just grindy padding, existing seemingly only to fill a quota. Some of them can even glitch out on you if you apply the "skip animation" function a bit too liberally. It's entirely the wrong approach for a game like this... where are all the ones for initiating optional conversations about inventory items, a.k.a. the best part of adventure games? Including a trophy for skipping every minigame was a cute touch, though. Also, fair warning to aspiring hunters... if you aim to play the game the proper way without skipping cutscenes or dialogue (y'know... the only way to play a good adventure game), expect a completion time that is much closer to mine than any of the variety of guides out there. As an avowed adventure connoisseur, this more than does the trick for me, even with some nagging flaws. The quality control is impressively high, as is their batting average for comedy. The cloying, sarcastic Lemony Snicket-esque narrator in particular, is an absolute treat. It's a good game made by good people, and having now found out it's a sequel (some things in the game did seem a bit wanting for explanation) to an older game, I'm very much fixin' to give that one a tumble, trophies or no. Yes indeed, this one is gumbo! Edited May 29, 2020 by AK-1138 Missing the ol' trophy list graphic

Popular Post Dreggit
Answered the Siren's Call Shantae and the Seven Sirens I won't say much as the games 1 day old, so I have no want to spoil, but as far as Shantae games go, this one went back to its roots in level design and progression both. With a fully connected world (no levels like the last two games) and some well made animations, Shantae and the Seven Sirens has been one of the most enjoyable platinums I've earned in a long time. While some might not like the speedrun trophies, I quite like them. 10/10 would play again.
Popular Post Kristycism
#139 - Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention Time to Plat: ~110 hours (I wasn't efficient, could be done in half that) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I'd never played a Disgaea game before, having never actually heard of the series until recently, but when I picked up my Vita a few months back (yes, I'm late to the party), I saw the cover on this game, loved the art style and thought "hey, imma try it!" because apparently I judge/buy games purely on their covers. When I first started up the game, I couldn't quite get into it, and initially thought "what have I done? I need to complete a really long game that I hate now, urgh!", but fast forward about 10 hours and I was hooked to the game. I'm not entirely sure what changed (it might've been Mr. Champloo's introduction, because I love that guy), but I know I'm now a convert to the series at this point and look forward to playing the rest of the series at a later date! The characters were good fun - especially Mr. Champloo, his voice actor was great - though nothing overly standout, and the story was fine, nothing special but enough to keep me interested as it went on. But the real joy of these games is in the gameplay. There is actually way more depth to building up your characters to be as strong as possible, way more than your average JRPG which is just "buy/find Ultimate Weapon and level until max". Which is why it took me so long to platinum the game as I was still working out all the different elements and what on earth I was doing for most of the time, since I was very overwhelmed by all the things I could do that I didn't know what I should do. However, it's satisfying knowing that however you approach it you are still improving your characters, even if you're not doing it in the most efficient way. But now that I know what I'm doing, having spent so much time with all the different systems, I reckon I can plat other Disgaea games in a much more efficient fashion! Starting with 4 or 5 since they're on PSNow And apparently most fans regard D3 as the worst entry in the series, which means I'll be in for an even better time with the other games. Can't complain about that! #140 - Adventures of Mana Time to Plat: ~15h Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 From a great Vita game to a distinctly "meh" one. It's not that there's anything wrong with the game, and I understand it's a port of an early iOS game so I wasn't expecting anything great, but it's just...meh. The story, the characters, the gameplay. There was nothing really stand-out about this game and I was glad when it was over. The "puzzles" (which basically involve remembering to use certain weapon/items on trees/cracked walls/plants) are too easy to provide any interest, and the combat is really easy too. Turn-based combat would have been more interesting than just hitting things as they walk around your screen and attack so infrequently that you sometimes forget they even can. But the grind to get to level 99...that was painful. Especially because there is zero point to it, given there's no optional end-game content and it's just enemies walking about on your screen. So you walk between two screens ramming elephants with your sword for at least 5 hours for nothing. I really should have left the grind until after the final bosses as being level 99 means you steamroll them by just mashing attacks for 30 seconds each. The earlier bosses where I was underlevelled I at least had to time my attacks so I didn't get hit (though really, you can cure so much so fast using spells and items that it doesn't really matter). But after getting to 99 the final bosses were just so disappointing. Eh, anyway, it's over now, on to better games. Like more Disgaea maybe.

The jump and platforming also felt I could jump a little easier and better. Just shows that Sony had a great chance to port more games like these to the Vita because this was a very enjoyable game. Just wish they could do it with Hollow Knight and more. Oh well back to my back log and happy trophy hunting to you all.
Popular Post hittheroadbucky
Enjoyment 6/10 Difficulty 4/10 Days Gone is my latest plat. Story wise, I really enjoyed it. I really liked the different camp dynamics and characters and I was pretty satisfied with the ending. However, I did feel a good 80% of the game was filler missions. The camp take overs, nest burnings and bounties didn’t have enough variation in them to make them interesting past the first couple. Hoardes I did quite like, but again after you get a system down it’s just rinse and repeat while you clear the map. The biggest pro for me with this game was the fact that none of the trophies were missable so you don’t have to worry that you’re going to ruin your playthrough by making the wrong choice 20 hours in. All in all it was an okay game, but if anyone hasn’t bought it yet and is considering it I’d definitely advise waiting for a sale. While the story was good, it wasn’t good enough to justify the grind imo.

Popular Post Viper
#189 RAGE 2 Post-Post-Apocalyptic Poster Child Man, this game gets a bad wrap...and I'm really not sure why. I had an absolute blast playing this! Now granted, the game does nothing new, it borrows a TON of things from other open world games, all things we've played before...but that's not exactly a bad thing, what it does here...it at least makes it fun. Biggest issue I probably have is the story is EXTREMELY short and very lackluster. It's only like 10 short missions long...you spend far more time doing everything else. However, the true highlight of this game...its absolute saving grace, is its gun play. Combat was made by DOOM's Id Software and while not quite as fast paced and frantic as DOOM, it's just as satisfying. The guns are meaty and feel like they have weight, and no single gun fight ever felt boring. There was one Bandit Den I replayed over and over to get a couple trophies and never once felt like I was grinding because the combat is just so satisfying. Add in the fact that you get powers as well...just means you could really string up some fun combos. The driving mechanics were okay (which you pretty much live in your vehicle in this game). But there were times it feels like your wheels lock up on you and it won't turn right. Plus, they put quite a few different vehicles in, but the only one really worth a damn is the one you start the game with, and since a few lengthy trophies require you to use that vehicle for pretty much the entire game, having the others in felt rather pointless. Still have the DLC to do...which means I have to support Microtransactions because some genius at Avalanche decided to make it so that you can't just buy the Terrormania DLC off the PS Store...you have to buy Rage Coins then buy it off of the in game store. Then will be attempting an Ultra Nightmare run...and if at that point I'm not totally sick of this game, I'll do a third playthrough in an Iron Man run (Permadeath).
