Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #90 Tales of Zestiria When you look on this game online, you come across a lot of negavity. People complaining about the systems being too complex, others complaining about the story and a certain character, many even saying dropped the game. Is Tales of Zestiria really that bad? I will start with what the game does right. It's uncommom, but I will start with the music. The opening is fantastic, and it would always put me on the mood to play. The soundtrack that you listen on the maps and the battle themes are all very good, I would give the music 9/10. Another strong point of the game is the combat. At first you will probably feel overwhelmed, but after I mastered the system, I had lots of fun playing. I dont think the system is hard, but there is much information, and some things are hard to pull off at first,so you may feel discouraged. While I was replaying the game on hard, things were much easier, and one of the reasons was because the second time I knew how to play. Always use the enemy weakness, this is the key to sucess. At first you wont have access to many artes, but when you reach midgame, you will have the tools to deal with almost every enemy that you come across. Knowning when to armatize, and when to use the Blast Gauge also helps. Although I had a hard time early on, I didnt have to retry many times. From "random" encounters it never happened, but I had to retry a few times on some bosses that caught me off guard in some moments. It's also very important to fuse your equipments and to defeat the mutant hellions. I would stay with the same piece of equipment for a long time, because fusing made them better than most of the new ones that I got. And defeating the mutant hellions, and using herbs, helps in increasing your parameters. At first you will not be able to defeat those enemies, that are pretty challenging early on, but after some time, specially when you have more artes, you will be able to almost always beat them as soon as they show up. The third strong point are the characters. Individually they are a bit odd, but together they have a very good combination. There are plenty of funny moments, specially during the skits, when they talk during the introduction of an enemy and in other momets. But this does not mean that everything is fun and games. Those characters also have internal struggles that they have to deal with, and Sorey is frequently thinking about what is the Shepherd true mission and the nature of emotions. But the game also have negative points, and I understand, and even agree with some of the complaints. I will not talk too much about the story to avoid spoilers, but there are certain things that I disagree. Not only things that happened, but why and how they happened. I disliked the way they treated the conflict between Hyland and Rolance, it was too shallow. The same can be said about the relationship between humans and seraphims. To me it didnt matter as much as it should, given the characters motives for the journey. Another thing that bothered me is the absence of impact. Obviously that the story has grand moments, but they dont feel as impactful as they should. At first I thought it was because I had watched the anime, but since the story is so different, I dont think this is the case. Another bad point is the equipment system. The idea of the equipment having skills that improve them and shape your playstyle is very interesting, and increase the depth when choosing new gear. Unfortunately, they made the system too uncomfortable to use. You dont keep the bonuses when you stack the same skill, this is completely counterintuitive. There no easy way for you to manipulate the skills. Aside for when you get the first normin linked to the skill of the same name, you always have to rely on luck. The fusing system doesnt help much, since you can only fuse equipments of the same name, and the way that different skills interact seems random, and fusing skills almost never result in a more interesting skill. Sometimes you feel punished by the system. The last thing that bothered me is that world feels too small, and there is little variety in areas. It's plains, forest, caves and ruins all the time, and they feel a bit too similar. About the platinum, this is much more time consuming than hard. The stack 16 trophy was easy to me, maybe I had luck while farming Lindwer to fight the last boss, but the item collector and dietitian nightmare were a real headache. First of all, I think the guide is wrong. Or 90% of the items is not 513, or the game doesnt count the fashions items that you inherit from a previous playthrough and dont obtain again, because my count was on 538 when I got the trophy. You will spend a lot of time fighting enemies and reseting shopkeepers to get this trophy. The snacks trophy seemed impossible. The total amount of my two playthroughs was a few hours short of 100. All characters were on snack preparation asap, and I only got this after I got all other trophies, aside from defeating the empowered last boss. I even left the game on rubber band during 7 hours, and guess what? Nothing of Marron Glace. To the +99 equip trophy use unnamed equipment and farm lots of gald. The trophies for not using items during fights is a joke. If you keep double damage on and know how to fight, most fights will not last even a minute. Fighting the last boss on Chaos and powered up is also very easy if you follow the guide, fightning him blind on normal was much harder. The crucibles are also a joke. The true hard part is Hexen Isle. The first dungeons are not too hard, but on the last ones I was avoiding encounters at all costs, they were harder and longer than the bosses. In the end, I think Tales of Zestiria receives an unfair amount of hate. This is only the 3rd Tales of game that I played. The first was Tales of the Abyss, that I had a mixed, more bad than good experience. The second was Tales of Hearts R, where I had a very good time. I had my share of good moments with Zestiria, and I would play again the almost 100 hours if I had the chance. I am not a experienced player of the franchise, so I cant say how this title stand among the others. Maybe people were too hyped because this marked the 20th anniversary of the franchise, but I think the criticism is a bit unfair. The game is far from perfect, but it's not trash.
Popular Post Akeachi
#15 - The Evil Within 2 Enjoyment : 7/10 Difficulty : 2/10 (with cheats) Time : 30ish hours The Evil Within 2 improves everything from it's original instalment back in 2014, everything from the gameplay to the story etc. Although I find the first game way more scarier (at least the first half of it) I liked the inclusion of the open world segments but i wish they had more interesting stories/side quests, one of the villians was really cool but I was disappointed when I saw him being abandoned instead of getting in depth into his backstory or psychology, hell we don't even know who he is or why he does his stuff, which is a let down because it was a really cool villain. The final villian really sucked unfortunately, so is the ending. Plat-wise it was really easy but I got really unlucky through it Play the game normally to enjoy it then get the upgrades, collectibles, red gels on NG+ then finish Classic mode and get all Weapons My game crashed twice at chapter 4&7 in classic mode which wasted about 6-8h of my time since I wasn't saving Note : you're going to need the bolts to get the trophy for all Weapons (it cost a hole Playthrough because of not knowing this)
Popular Post Deluziion90
Platinum #297 - Darksiders Genesis Not AloneEarn all trophies. Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 9.5/10 Time to platinum: 2 days, 6 hours, 20 minutes || #6 Fastest on the leaderboard at 100% Where to start! I loved this game from the beginning till the end. The gameplay feels amazing like Diablo 3. I've played DH for 1000's of hours on PC and playing with strife felt a bit like the same. That's why I rated this game a 3/10 in difficulty. The story wasn't too over the top but kept me wondering what would happen next and both Strife and War did an amazing job to keep me entertained. Bad jokes, Complaining and wanting to kill everything lol. Trophy wise the game was a bit of a chore as there were collectibles everywhere and I had a map with me on a second monitor as some of those things where hidding on the most stupid placed. The Levithian core which was supposed to be the hardest (And recently patched so no more glitching to get it easy) wasn't too bad. You can lower the speed of the game to ulra slowmo so the bad optimized jumping and gliding route was doable in 1 hour or so. Apocalyptic took me around 5 hours in total as I maxed out EVERYTHING the game had to offer. My characters never died so that was just an extra ng+ run for the trophy. All in all amazing game and some DLC would be lovely but that won't happen probably.

AdmantCrow
Hotline Miami (PS4) Enjoyment: 9.5 Difficulty: 8 Hotline Miami is a simply incredible game. It's short, it's sweet, but it's trophy requirements brings out the full potential of the game and challenges you to try everything offered by it. The A+ Trophy expects a lot of you, and is easily the toughest part of the plat, but it's worth it. By the time I was done, I was living and breathing Hotline Miami, and this game probably has slipped into my top fifteen games of all time. Literally my only problem with the game is one or two levels that just feel a little unfair to play, stacking the deck just a little too much against you.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#457- Persona 5 Legendary Phantom Thief Earn all trophies. KYC Reviews: Day 1 & Final Review. That... was a long one. 107 and a half hours. With less than 10 of those spent on a short New Game+ playthrough. I think it kinda grew on me, since I lasted till the end. But I still prefer P4G. This one, I don't know. Just a few things that bugged me. Like not being able to use a revive item on the main character, when everyone else can be revived. And enemies can hit with instant kill attacks, so if he gets hit with one, it's Game Over. Eventually started playing on Safe difficulty, so I wouldn't have to worry about losing 30+ minutes of progress each time that happened... But then you level up like crazy, and it becomes way too easy. So, I don't know what the best way to go is. Some of the dungeons themselves seemed to stretch on for an eternity, too. And the super boss... That felt like more cheapness, with almost reaching the end and getting hit with a rare critical, causing you to instantly lose the fight. But overall, it's a really good game, and was worth getting. Just felt to me like P4G did everything better. It could be a case of FF7itis, though. That was my first FF, and I don't think it will ever be replaced as #1 in my mind. Sadly no platinum image, since this game blocks any and all Share features. :/
Popular Post Ryudi1998
Grandmaster 6.77% Collect all Trophies. a.k.a Anthem platinum I signed EA ACCESS for a month (mainly because of the BF ones), but the person that share account with, signed it for a year lucky lucky~ And now I'm hunting the plat for all the EA Vault games sports not included You may have heard about how anthem sucks and that EA did a really bad job on it, well maybe when it released. I didn't play in that time Nowadays, the game still has a considerable amount of loading screen and its time, some bugs/glitches and one of these I needed to replay the whole story again for the final misson trophy (an 8 hours playthrough), but it's playable. I personally don't recommend this one, I played it just for the platinum tbh *Edit: Took me 48 hours for it Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Edited June 5, 2020 by Ryudi1998
Popular Post Viscera1900
#250 - Persona 5 Royal The Phenomenal Phantom Thief "Obtained all trophies." Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10 The original Persona 5 was already on my TOP 3 favorite games of all time list, so that should give you an idea how much I love this game. It's been a while since I played Persona 5, so it was a blast to revisit this game with all new additions/contents and events added to this. Persona 5 Royal looks stunning as ever, has very good English dub/voice actings and very fun & addicting gameplay mechanics. The trophy list is much easier and straightforward this time around; no more completing the compendium or maxing all the confidants/social links. The game gives you some free bonus PS4 dynamic themes and avatars just for playing the story and that is very welcoming bonus. Gotta love these Yamcha's famous dead poses in this game...
Popular Post Conor
#63- MINECRAFT STORY MODE (PS3) Chip Off the Old Block Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 2 days, 19 hours, 2 minutes (10 hours in-game) Rarity: 0.8% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 16.21% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: That's Some Pig- Exhaust your conversation with Reuben (because I had to look it up) Another easy but enjoyable Telltale game. I've never actually played Minecraft so there were a good few references that went over my head, but it was easy enough to get into. The characters were very likable and it's always great to hear Patton Oswalt and Ashley Johnson (who yet again gets a mark on her arm which causes the big sick), although it baffles me how easily the characters forgive a certain person given all the damage, death and destruction he causes. Also, a certain demise actually hit me really hard because I was losing a little friend of my own at the time, just felt way more real than a bunch of blocks had any right to be. It also struck me as strange that the main story concludes at Episode 4, which a brand new storyline kicking off in Episode 5 which is concluded in the dlc episodes... although Episode 5 is required for the platinum. It would feel very disjointed without the dlc which really makes for a second season storyline, which I also completed to 100% the game. In any case, I was glad to have the Complete Adventure disc since the game got delisted. A few freezes and glitches which is par for the course with Telltale but otherwise a neat and whimsical little game. #64- ASSASSIN'S CREED: LIBERATION HD (PS3) Platinum Trophy Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 1 month, 3 weeks, 3 days (13 hours in-game) Rarity: 7.8% Very Rare (PSN) / 40.05% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Complete 100% of all Mission Constraints- Achieve 100% Synchronization in all Sequences Honestly, this wasn't exactly my favourite game when I played it on the Vita and despite a visual upgrade and the removal of some of the more tedious trophies from the handheld version, I still wouldn't consider this to be an essential game. At least I didn't have to replay due to the persona collectible glitching out. Some of the missions have parts cut out of them to streamline things a bit, which I welcomed. I had to play the last mission three times- the first time, after I killed the last boss and the brief pause between losing control of Aveline and the last cutscene playing, an enemy hit me and I lost the opportunity to complete the No Damage constraint. The second time, I did it perfectly but the trophy glitched and didn't pop. The third, I did it again and the trophy finally popped. Instead of multiplayer, a string of persona-specific missions are added. They really didn't add much at all (except for one part where you get ambushed by a frigging bear while in the Lady persona) and just added to the tedium of the game. Aveline controls very poorly and acts very slowly, I'm not sure if this was a result of the game originally being a portable title but I was very, very glad that the Lady persona's running speed was increased! Having to grind for money to buy the pocket watches was also dumb and served no purpose other than to get a trophy. Anyway, at least I just have one more version of this game to get and I won't be playing it for a long while. Perhaps a break (because it wasn't too long ago that I played the Vita version) will help me appreciate things a bit more when I play the remastered version on PS4. Popular Post Bumperklever
#123 Twin Breakers: A Sacred Symbols Adventure [AS] (PSVita) A Beautifull Lie Date Achieved: 5 June 2020Rarity: Uncommon (38-39%)Enjoyment: 7/10 This game can be summarized as a short but sweet brick break game. It got a few different modes. It also has different positioning of the beams. Though I found the 4 variant uncomfortable to control. Another gripe that I had on it is that the game's ranking system is heavily depending on which power ups you will get. In this sense that when I a amazing power-up (heavy ball), I instantly gained a S rank with a tremendous score. If not, then the score would be to low in most cases. This indirectly makes the plat very RNG heavy. Though for the amount you have to do it ain't that bad.
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 225 - LIFE IS STRANGE 2 Regardless of how we feel about this entry in the series, we can’t deny how real and current the message is. I was at times cringing on how much pain, and suffering some humans can inflict on others because they’re different. Life is strange 2 was really a dive on the prejudice in the world, saddens me to see the world on this never ending spiral. My only hope is that even though we’re amidst one of the biggest pandemic of the last century; not to mention the ongoing protest against intolerance - we as humans can evolve and learn that we’re all equal. Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum# 244 Fun: it's a children's card game/10 Difficulty: 5.5/10 Welcome to a children's card game with so many complex rules and such that even the characters in the anime don't know what they're doing half the time. Gone are the simple days of summoning one monster at a time and you can flood the field with monsters making old school players ask "did you just summon a bunch of monsters in one turn?" and you respond "Yeah so?" then they go "that's against the rules isn't it?" and you either respond "SCREW THE RULES I HAVE MONEY" or say "check a rule book, things been updated. Lots of monsters have effects to summon other monsters that summon other monsters that can combine into other monsters to summon other monsters." The trophies are mostly easy but the primary ones are time consuming. You get a trophy for most special summoning from the extra deck (fusion, synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, and Link) and the time consuming ones are completing the campaign from the OG Yu-Gi-Oh series all the way to Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains which consists of the major duels in each series where you can use the deck the character used in the anime but you can build your own deck if you want. You have to do each story duel twice, once as it was and again playing as the opponent. Some are balanced like the earlier series but then....we get to the unbalanced BS that is Arc-V and Vrains. Some duels are fine, then we get others that goes against such BS like Altergeist that can bounce your cards as you summon them back to your hand leaving you wide open. Lots of frustration was had. There are two online trophies but with a cheese deck you can probably make your opponent surrender like using a Time Lord deck that can cause chaos easily. The hardest trophy has to be the challenge trophy where you fight everyone in each series with a different deck using your own deck. I recommend using either a Time Lord deck for Arc-V/Vrains or vs anyone that can swarm monsters on the field and Altergeist for anyone that can't get a ton of monsters on the field at once. Oh and one last trophy you do have to earn which is to summon this guy: Edited June 5, 2020 by Rick_Sanchez

Truth be told, these hidden object games have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I think I actually played this game several years ago when Amazon gave the Kindle version away for free. The hidden objects in this game are significantly easier to find than other similar games - I breezed through most of the scenes in just a couple of minutes.
