Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#383 & #384 - Hoggy 2 (EU Vita & PS4) This was an enjoyable platformer with a very attractive colour pallete that sees you play as a purple slime named Hoggy (or his wife Hogatha if you wish) as he tries to rescue their children from aliens. Gameplay is simple and levels are completed by eating all of the fruit in each one whilst avoiding traps, enemies and obstacles of varying difficulty. I'm thinking about double dipping and getting this for my Switch Lite too because I had a good time with it. StressEater
I just finished Marvel's Spider-Man. I wanted to go after a game that I thought would be fun from my backlog. This game was not as fun as I had hoped it would be. It was still decent but it felt very repetitive. The did however try to mix things up the best they could. If I had to get max rank in all the challenges then I think I would have hated the game. However, they did do a good job allowing you to just finish them and not have to get max rank. Which was great because I struggled with the drone chases but did amazing with the fights and stealth challenges. So I was able to easily get enough tokens to upgrade all my suits. The grind was getting 100% in all zones. The whole crime fighting was way to much. They did do a really good job at not repeating crimes to avoid this being an more of a grind then it already had to be.

Popular Post IesuHado
#148 - 99Vidas You, the Master of Unlocking... Rarity: 4.95% Ultra Rare Difficulty: 3/10 (more time consuming and frustating than difficult) Enjoyment: 7/10 the first time - 4/10 at the end of the platinium journey Hi all! I´m happy to introduce to you my platinium #148 coming from the game 99Vidas, a brazilian game (I think) that enter in the beat em up genre and it´s one of those strange love-hate games situations for me. I got this game thanks to Ps Plus and the first time I tried I like it a lot! it was fun and the music and characters for me were hilarious.... the trophies are pretty straight foward and nothing to break your head off, it only requieres you to play the game a lot of times with each character and complete all difficulty levels. I made the mistake of rushing the game so when I was only one trophy back for the plat I decide to took a rest from the game (a whole two years rest), and between that time severals patch came for the game and change things a little bit for example for getting the last trophy I need it (Elite player) you will have to play trough the game 4 times so you can farm some lifes or vidas to make it trought be cause theres come the problem with this game.... It´s frustating and unbalanced as f#3k for real, you will not belive how many times you are going to die in hard and elite difficult you be cause of this, but thanks god if you make it to farm enough lifes to your elite playtrouhg you should be fine at for that time also you should know what to wait for in each level and with each boss. If you can pass the frustating difficulty and the countless time you will have to play the game it will be a easy and nice ultra rare platinium to have but if you don´t have patience you should stay away from this one or just play it for fun. thanks for reading and cheers all! ?

Popular Post ZoutjeNL
#42 Assassin's Creed IIEnjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Overall I never played too much of Assassin's Creed. I played it a bit here and there at my uncle but never from beginning to end. Lately with so much talk going about AC I became more and more intrigued to try out the games myself. I feel like people are pretty divided when it comes to AC, people usually hate it or love it. So what was my experience? AC II right from the get go looks extremely dated, I know graphics aren't everything but the facial animations did not age well at all. On the other hand I liked Ezio from the get go. I also really liked the side characters and the story was the highlight from this game which is still enjoyable at this day. The mission structure however was a bit plain and some missions especially like the escort missions were not so fun. Talking about the trophies, AC II has a decent list to boot. Mostly story related, a few combat related trophies and general exploration ones like finding 10 viewpoints. Everyone that played this game knows that one trophy stinks; collect all 100 feathers. This wouldn't be so bad if there was a map available, like with chests. Unfortunately this is not the case. Collectibles are quite prominent in games in this day and age. Collectibles that add depth to the story and have meaning is what I don't mind. Simply collectibles for collectibles sake to add lenght to a game not so much. The story was definitely the highlight of the game. Climbing rooftops was also fun and feeling like a badass stealth assassin is awesome. I am looking forward to the rest of the Trilogy.

Popular Post djb5f
Platinum #103 Enjoyment 7.5/10 Difficulty 1/10 Despite having never played a normal Borderlands game, I quite enjoyed this one. Another strong offering from TellTale. Top notch voice acting across the board (except for Gortys, the annoying baby robot voice). Episode 1 was very strong and got you interested in the story from the get-go. Wish we could have had more of Vasquez throughout the whole game. Episodes 2, 4, and 5 were all strong as well. Episode 3 was a lull and harder to get through so I deducted half of a point. Within each episode, enjoy the dialogue/choices and action scenes more than the point and click section each seem to have. Verdict: Recommend. Side note, I enjoyed the humor and characters in this enough that I may need to check out a Borderlands game. Any recommendations? Looking at PS4 entries only. I have an ample backlog so not looking for anything too exhausting. I am okay with missing some earlier story if a later entry has better gameplay. Actually come to think of it, I must have the Handsome Collection (Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel) because of PS Plus. Which of those to get started or do you recommend something else entirely? Thanks!
Popular Post flashpool23
Killzone HD - Plat 147 This is pretty much the only one from the original trilogy that is an obtainable platinum still. It's not too bad as it's fun but its age shows enough that it can be become frustrating. Plus four playthroughs is a bit much especially with the unfriendly checkpoint system. I do like the plat icon though so there's that.

Thanks! Tales from The Borderlands was my first Borderlands game too and I absolutely loved it, it also made me want to check the other games out. Recommending another game in that universe is a bit tricky, I've only played 2 & 3 but neither were as well written as Tales imo. If you loved the writing and the characters and you want more of that I'd recommend Borderlands 2 as it came pretty close to Tales. Borderlands 3 plays the best from a gameplay stand point, as you might expect from the latest entry, but the some of the writing is pretty cringe. Hope this is useful. Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #120 - NieR: Automata FInal Words, 31.26% Rarity Difficulty - 4/10, Time Spent - ~36 Hours , Enjoyment 5/10 NieR: Automata has you playing first as android 2B, then android 9S, and then android A2 in a mission to destroy all machines on Earth so that the humans can return there from the moon. I definitely wasn't enamoured with this game like many people are. I thought it was pretty mediocre in most ways. The story was rather non-existant for most of the game... it started ramping up during the second mandatory playthrough and then got marginally decent during the "bonus" chapters after finishing the second playthrough. I honestly thought that I had been playing this game a lot longer than I had because of how ill-paced this game was (though not as bad as some other games I've played). The battle was pretty typical hack-and-slash. About halfway through the game I decided that I didn't really want to play it anymore, so to get it done as quickly as possible, I set the game to the Easy difficulty (no trophies tied to difficulty). You can pretty much sit back and watch the game when you put it on Easy as the game will auto-battle everything for you... enemies will go down and you will very rarely take any damage (let alone have to use any healing items if you have your schema set up to auto-heal). Being that I wasn't totally engrossed with the game, I was one of the people that didn't do the trophies "legit" and instead used the in-game trophy shop that you get after finishing up all the storyline content. The game would have probably taken an additional 15-20 hours if I did everything legit, but I just didn't care enough. I was actually slightly mad that I couldn't pop the platinum with the trophy shop... I still had to finish two endings on my own... one of which makes you play a really stupid bullet hell mini-game that you pretty much can't beat "on your own" (the game gives you help that makes you invincible once you die enough). The game tried to do some interesting things with perspective shifting... changing from 3D to 2D and sometimes having a top-down style game play. I personally found it annoying, and the top-down style gave me motion sickness. The game would also do some things based on the story that made it very difficult to manuvuer your characters (such as getting EMP attacked by robots, which jammed certain types of attacking, jumping, scrambled the visuals, etc).... was very much NOT a fan of those parts of the game and got very frustrated with them. The last thing I'll touch on is the music. It was very annoying to me. Nearly every song had some type of singing in it, but from what I read online, it's a made up language... which sometimes sounds like Japanese, French, or Italian depending on the song. The music was BRILLIANT, but they should have axed the vocals to make it better for gaming... gaming music should blend with the experience, not cause distraction. Overall, it's really hard to say how much I enjoyed this game. There were parts of it that I did like-- such as when the story finally started coming together toward the VERY end of the game, the graphics, the character design-- but then there were other parts that I really didn't enjoy. So I guess the game is a solid Average 5 from me.

Popular Post Desmuria
Oh boy, I've been pretty busy earning platinums lately. I've finally decided to organise my dreaded backlog and I've been attempting to decrease my list. Pretty proud of my efforts thus far, but I have a long way to go! Link to my backlog is in my signature, if you fancy being nosy. #298 & #299 - Breeder Homegrown: Director's Cut Breeder Homegrown: Director's Cut Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 1/10 There's not really a whole lot I can say about this game, except that's it's pretty weird and rather boring. You play as an old man going back to his childhood home after escaping a nursing home/mental asylum type place. You walk around the house and have flashbacks to when he was younger. It's all very strange and slow. If you want to play this type of game, I would recommend Red Bow, My Big Sister and/or Just Ignore Them over this. #300 - Until Dawn A Symphony of Horror Trophies You collected all Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies in Until Dawn Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I finally hit 300 platinums and I'm so very proud of myself for this achievement! I was debating which game to have for my milestone. Originally, it was going to be InFamous Second Son, but I changed my mind (clearly)! I got Until Dawn for free with PS+ back in 2017 and, I'll be honest, I've been too scared to play it. I don't do horror games and I hate being scared, but I knew this game played like Detroit Become Human and the like, so I've been torn. I finally sucked it up and, despite the relentless jumpscares, I really enjoyed this game. The motion capture and voice acting were spot on and the story was suitably creepy and unexpected. The whole thing is a total misdirect and I was genuinely shocked from one chapter to the next as it all unfolded. The story expands as you find more clues and you slowly piece together events of the past, like the miners in 1952. It was absolutely heartbreaking discovering what happened to Hannah and Beth. All in all, the game is truly horrifying and I love it. #301 - Jisei Platinum Detective Get all other trophies. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 1/10 I couldn't pass up the chance to play a brand new visual novel. This new release from Ratalaika games is rather interesting to follow. You not only have to solve a crime, but you also have to prove yourself innocent of committing it. You can interrogate witnesses and build your case by examining rooms. It's all very bog standard for a visual novel and I recommend it for fans of the genre. #302 - Ultra Hat Dimension Platinum Hat Get all other trophies. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Oh my life, this is such a cute little puzzle game! The earlier levels are simple enough to figure out and they get increasingly more challenging. With a little bit of planning and common sense, they're not too bad to figure out. I will admit, I did use a video guide for one or two of the bigger levels. I just wish this had a PS Vita port. I would've gladly played this again for a platinum stack. #303 - DISTRAINT 2 Platinum DISTRAINT 2 Get all other trophies. Enjoyment: Difficulty: Another game that I truly wish had a platinum stack for the PS Vita. I played the original DISTRAINT and I loved it a lot. The second installment has the same eerie and unnerving feel about it. The storyline is compelling (maybe not as good as the first game) but still decent. I highly recommend these games to anyone who enjoys horror and doesn't mind solving a puzzle or two. #304 - Edna and Harvey: The Breakout (Anniversary Edition) Platinum Collect all Trophies Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 After playing Harvey's New Eyes, I knew I had to pick up this game. I love point-and-click adventures and, despite being introduced to the franchise fairly recently, I love these games. The previous game focused on a mute girl called Lilli. Edna only makes a few appearances as Lilli's friend. This game, on the other hand, has Edna as the sole focus as she attempts to escape a mental asylum run by the evil Dr Marcel. I highly recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of the point-and-click genre. Thank you once again to the fantastic @themindisacity for the flawless text guide. #305 - Gorogoa All Done Unlock all trophies. Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Particularly proud of this platinum because I've been putting it off for a year (maybe two). The art style intrigued me enough to purchase it, but I really thought I'd struggle to complete the speedrun. After following a few guides, I managed to complete the speedrun on my second playthrough. The only other challenge is to complete the game in under 500 moves. It's extremely tight, so room for error is very limited. I managed to obtain this trophy on my first playthrough. If you don't mind a slight challenge, I recommend this game. It's really unique. #306 & #307 - Heroes Trials Platinum hero Obtained all trophies. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 This was one of the many Ratalaika games that I have in my backlog. It's a really simple adventure game where you have to kill enemies, obtain spells and take on a few bosses. The only part that presented a slight challenge was Denmaku. Once you figure out how to drop his shield efficiently, he's not all that bad. You don't have to complete the entire game to get the platinum and I won't be playing more. Short, sweet and easy for trophy hunters. Edited July 28, 2020 by Desmuria
Popular Post MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 86 Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Platinum Trophy Finally finish the game. The begining phase is abit boring since most of the starting car and weapon and stat are very bad. But the more i play though it and finish more sidequest. The game keep getting better and better for me. I also spend some time understanding the town. Since it is huge. Anyway this is a good hidden gem game. The story is one of the major thing that keep me continue playing it. Now that i got the Platinum Trophy and unlock most of the in game stuff, i guess i m done with the game. Oh yea if you are playing remember to replay the other world level and get the infinite weapon Waiitng The second one to be polish and imported to Playstation then, hear switch one is buddy and unpolish.
