hittheroadbucky
Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Enjoyment 8/10 Difficulty 3/10 This one has been a long time coming. I originally started this game in 2016 and I’ve only just got the platinum now with my original character (Claptrap). A lot of people I’ve spoken to said this game was rubbish compared to 2, and it’s definitely smaller and it doesn’t have as many good bosses to farm, but I really liked it. I’ve been chipping away at it and finally decided to get in gear and finish it! By far the worst trophy was the Cosmic Completionist trophy for discovering all named locations. Since I originally started the story years ago I couldn’t remember what parts of the game I played in coop or not. I managed to farm the kills for my shotgun and rocket launcher challenges while I was running through every map looking for the one missing location. I got it though! ? Anyone considering going for this plat now would need to set up a boosting session (assuming you don’t have a friend to help you) because the multiplayer is dead ? or at least it was for me when I checked over the last few days
Popular Post Jermster_91
PLATINUM #56 Far Cry 5 Got it for $9 when it was heavily discounted on the PS Store and don't regret it. Loved that I didn't need to do 100% of the game like most open world games. The most difficult or annoying trophies were the online (arcade) trophies because only featured maps count. Unless you boost this or host a multiplayer lobby, you will have trouble getting the featured maps. Overall, this was a easy platinum. Popular Post Jake-TheGreat97
#82 God of War (2018) This platinum has been on my bucket list for the longest time. I didn't think that the game was as good as many were saying it was when I first played it. However, going for the platinum made me like the game more. Still don't think that it's the best game on PS4 though.
SoapMacTavish222
#363 Hitman: Blood Money Remastered for PS4. I really enjoy all of the Hitman games but this one has the best story out of them all in my opinion. Being a remaster from PS2, there's only so much they can do with the graphics from then so it's definitely not the most beautiful looking game ? but the missions and story are solid. The trophy list is pretty light. I completed it in two days without putting too much effort into it.

RoloBabs
platinum 66 Monster Jam Battlegrounds. Difficulty 3/10 fun 2/10 time 5 hours. i did it in a week though. Not a good game at all, crappy controls, bad graphics and almos all challenges are incredibly easy. There are a few precision stunt jumps that might take a few tries but nothing that will prevent you from getting the platinum. Not a sport/entertainment i would watch but hey, a plat is a plat. Got to get to a hundred somehow lol.
Popular Post EIdain
Platinum #53 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign RemasteredIs That All You Got? Almost certainly wouldn't have played this again if it wasn't for PS+ so that was a nice surprise this week. This was fun little trip down memory lane with Soap and Price, it's a really solid remaster. Gameplay feels a bit dated and also reminded me how much I despise how a lot of FPS's increase their difficulty turning the campaign into a game of; peak, shoot, hide, heal, & repeat. The trophy list is great in my opinion a really solid mix of; challenge, collecting, contextual combat challenges, and fun easter eggs. However I'm amazed the rarity is so common even with the veteran difficulty glitch. The Student Surpasses the Master trophy is no joke and whilst Immortal isn't as difficult as it sounds as it checkpoints your progress with each mission, it's still easy to die on recruit to a stray grenade or enemy ordnance. Maybe this game just attracts a really niche audience? ?Enjoyment: 7/10Difficulty: 5/10 - I did this entirely legit. Reasons for difficulty mentioned above.Playtime: I was a bit slow with this one took me around 35 hours. If you're quick you can probably knock this out in a day. Also hopped on to Ghost of Tsushima tonight to make Know Your Enemy my level 22 milestone trophy. I had 3 Call of Duty trophies as level up milestones already so wanted to have it be a different game here. Popular Post SHAZAM_SAVAGE
#12 - The Last Of Us Part II "Every Last One Of Them" I never played the first game, so I really didn't feel the anger that everyone had towards this one. I understand that it had a few "damn" moments, but nonetheless how can you not admit that this game was truly amazing? The graphics were absolutely stellar, the gameplay was top notch, and it was truly addicting/satisfying coming up with different ways to go about your business. My only gripe was the sheer amount of collectibles, holy cow lol. Also, I wasn't the biggest fan of having to go through the game again, in order to fully upgrade both characters. Thank goodness for "skip cinematic". All in all, a truly amazing game as said before. Now it is time for Ghost of Tsushima! Popular Post preciseRNG
#10 The Last of Us Part II Every Last One of Them Well I guess everything about this game has already been said. I managed to totally not spoil anything or read about any opinion before getting my hands down on that game. I wanted it to be my 10th platinum and it will now forever shine in my cabinet. I felt the game in many ways. After I finished it I was both happy and depressed. Besides that: It's quite astonishing what a console generation is capable of at the end if it's cycle.
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #535: Difficulty: 3/10 Playtime: 7 hours, 59 minutes Enjoyment: 8/10 Right, quick backstory here: prior to taking the plunge on this remast--err, reignited trilogy, my experience with Spyro extended to a ten minute play session at the local swimming hall (long story; look up past posts of mine in this thread for context) that didn't register with me on any level save base memory. No indictment of the quality of the game or whatever, it just wasn't our time. I quickly went back to playing Crash Bandicoot 3, and so things remained for years and years. But! As they say, every dragon has his day (they do say that, right?), and having had these memories jogged by my recent playing (and conquering) of the Crash games, I decided "what the heck" and took a chance on a purple dragon with 'tude. And, what do you know, guess who regrets having put it off until now? We three; My echo, my shadow, and me! But thankfully, there's a game for each, so we'll live. Spyro the Dragon is, at its essence, a collectathon platformer built on a rock-solid foundation of meaty and satisfying controls, rapid progression, and bucketloads of a special kind of old-school charm that you just don't see a lot of these days. Save the dragons; save the world. Traversing the lush and varied realms of the dragons is a sheer delight, and they're just small enough so as not to outstay their welcome, while still being satisfying to complete. It is a surgically precise game loop that allows you to play through it mostly at your own pace. I mostly swore off collectathons a few years ago when Donkey Kong 64 (never completing that broken mess ever again) nearly drove me to actual bloody madness, but Insomniac's cleverly minimalist take on the blueprint has reignited (pun intended) my liking for them... I honestly didn't really think it possible. That's high praise and no mistake. Glad these guys are well and truly part of the PlayStation family now, especially since they long since beat Rare at their own game. It really does live up to its reputation as a classic, and as I intimated before, I think I really would have loved it even more if I'd played it as a kid. It just has a special kind of aura of sincerity about it that I heartily appreciate. It's even a quick and breezy platinum (give or take a few unexpectedly tough flying challenges) so if you fancy yourself a Hunter you owe it to yourself to give this dragon a chase!

Popular Post Cloudbahamut
Just got the plat for Horizon Zero Dawn about 2 hours ago. Took me almost 3 weeks to get (not playing any other game in between). Definitely a very satisfying plat with nearly 50 trophies. I am not even quite finished yet - there are still about 17 DLC trophies I have yet to unlock but after playing this game exclusively for almost 3 weeks I definitely need a break now and have to play something else. I just got Uncharted 4 (first time playing it) which was on sale on PSN so I am jumping into that next. Horizon Zero Dawn is a game that I hesitated and pushed off playing for years as I was never sure if it would be for me but oh man was I wrong. This was the best open world experience I ever had and the game with it's RPG progression system and action adventure gameplay mechanics was virtually tailor made for me. Definitely one of the best games I have ever played. This year ist just an amazing gaming year for me personally - Resident Evil 3, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Last of Us 2, Jedi Fallen Order and now Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted 4 (and with Avengers on the ahem...horizon^^). 2020 might also be my most AAA plats in one year yet.
Popular Post DamagingRob
Platinum #467- 428: Shibuya Scramble Honorary S.O.S. Member Acquire all trophies God, where do I even start? This is easily one of the best visual novels I've ever read. Made by the same devs behind the Zero Escape series and Danganronpa (something I didn't know when I bought it, but quickly realized upon starting the game), I knew I was in good hands. But it surpassed my expectations by a mile. Looking at when this was originally released, it came a year before 999. Chunsoft was really cranking out the hits back then. So, with trying to not give away too many spoilers, I'll leave the story for last. Let's talk about the gameplay. For the most part, you are going to be simply reading a story and making dialogue choices. But there's a twist: you will be playing as multiple protagonists. A decision you make as one, can have disastrous consequences for another. Your progress will also sometimes be stopped with a "Keep Out" message, and you'll need to play as the other characters, until you find the red text in their story. This will let you switch back to the one with a Keep Out and break it, allowing you to continue. You might be thinking, "Visual novel? It looks like an FMV game.." And you'd technically be right. Actual video footage is not very common, though. It's mostly still images of people with text. And no voice acting. But it is still a phenomenal story, with great characters and soundtrack. The story.. If you want to go in fresh, I'd stop reading here. You start the game as a detective, protecting a young woman who is delivering a ransom for her twin sister who was kidnapped. Meanwhile, a young man named Achi, who... likes to pick up trash, happens to get wrapped up in things when he sees her standing around waiting for the kidnappers. When it looks like she'll be shot by someone, Achi springs into action, grabbing her by the hand and leading her on the adventure of a lifetime. The game then opens up, with you playing as five different protagonists. The former leader of a notorious gang, Achi, now devoted to keeping his city clean. The detective, Kano, struggling with commitments to both his job and the woman he loves. A freelance reporter, Minorikawa, trying to save the company he writes for from going under and his boss from committing suicide over it. A pharmaceutical researcher, Osawa, being blackmailed for something from his past. And lastly Tama, a young woman who has lost her memories, and ends up putting on a cat costume thanks to this guy: Spoiler ^Dude is fricking ridiculous. I don't know what else to say. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll encounter more twists than an M. Night Shyamalan film, and you will hopefully find this as amazing as I do. There are a few things that keep it from being perfect, though. For one, I think the text can be hard to read over some images. And tips are even worse. They use a light blue that's hard to see, and after you read them it changes to a dark blue. Should have been the other way around. Besides being informative, some tips are just funny and/or weird (I'll post a few pics of some underneath). Would suck if I missed any. Some grammatical errors/repeating words will show up. And getting all the bad endings is a bit tedious, with there being a whopping 85 of them! Many aren't much different than others, too. Tip pics: Spoiler But none of these negatives really brought my enjoyment down too much. I still loved it, and spent over 54 hours reading everything and playing through blind (unless I got stuck). Some of that time may be me idling, though. :/ Platinum image: Spoiler Edited August 1, 2020 by DamagingRob

Popular Post Phlegeth
#39 King of The World Obtain all trophies. I haven't played it in like ten years. It was a pretty good nostalgia trip. Alkaid was my favorite character back in the day and she's still up there. Bordeaux and Kaede have moved in a little. The grind wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I thought the cards would be the worst part, but it did it's thing in the background the decks from the guide made it easy. And I was done with them all by the time I beat the story. Even finishing the Books of 1000 wasn't too bad. Disc 4 was short. It felt like a DLC. I finished it in just over two hours. Fifth form was cool.
