Popular Post Katt
Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online 4 Goddesses Online Master Proof you finished playing 4 Goddesses Online. Thank you for playing this far! Final words: cool game, but it was pretty lame fighting the bosses over and over again with just different color patterns. The Unreal Engine worked pretty well in this game and there's a lot of potential for future Neptunia games. They could get rid of the VN style for dialogue and make 3D models do the job. Or at least do something like ToCS games.
Popular Post Angel
Gris Platinum #151 Such a beautiful and emotional experience I felt with this art in motion of a game. I just had to take a moment after my playthrough as it personally hit my heart hard and I couldn't stop crying, for those that experienced playing this game before, you know why it has affected me this much. I highly recommended giving it a chance, it almost flew by me if I had not stumble upon it in a past sale. Thank you so much for your time, I wish you my best on your next platinum journey and take great care!
Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #47 Far Cry Primal Enjoy: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Ok. First than all I must say that this was the very first game of the Far Cry franchise I have ever played. I borrowed it from a friend of mine and I must admit, it was a pretty good, I enjoyed it because it was not that kind of first person shooter game I was used to. I mean, I love open world games, but first-person camera doesn't convice me that much, because it doesn't get you to like or empathize with the main character. Nevertheless, this game proved to be interesting and I wouldn't mind to play any other far cry game if possible, besides, the stone age thematic what's pretty interesting, also beast taming and so on. With all that been said, i'm moving on to the next game. Edited August 3, 2020 by BlackSnake1435
Guest
Platinum #153 Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 I get why everyone fell in love with this game. People have been clamoring for an open-world, Japanese style game for a long time and we finally got a good one. Luckily, it's a tremendous game as well. The combat's really fun, the music is gorgeous, the story is gripping, and the world is beautiful. The main reason I only said 7/10 for enjoyment was because of the unbelievably tedious and repetitive side quests. A vast majority of the side quests are made up of 4 main gameplay elements in any order: Listen to a person, follow that person somewhere (either on foot or on a horse, extremely slowly usually), follow a linear set of footprints, and kill some mongols. Once in a while the game will throw in "investigate the area" where you walk around pressing X to listen to Jin say some stuff. The few side quests that do something a bit different, like the one in which you have to protect your ally from an ambush by silently killing the enemies that are hiding around the area as he talks to someone, was really fun because it was something different. They didn't need to have so many side quests if they were all fundamentally the same thing. Adding to that, I also dislike that you can't skip cut scenes (as of this post), which makes the side quests even more tedious when I didn't care what was happening. I did find the Masako and Yuriko quest lines quite gripping, though. Despite that little rant, the game is super fun otherwise. It has the typical open-world tropes like liberating outposts (camps) and random little activities like haikus and the fox dens in order to raise your stats, but they were all really fun and a good deviation from the story. The story also has so many great moments that I won't spoil that make it worth playing. And I'll say it again: the music is absolutely fucking gorgeous. TL;DR: The game is incredibly fun if you ignore a majority of the tedious side quests. Edited August 3, 2020 by ChunkyKong64 Posted this slightly early, apologies. Jermster_91
Platinum #57 Far Cry: New Dawn What can I say about Far Cry: New Dawn. If you jump in after playing Far Cry 5, it is gonna be a little different. For one thing, enemies have health bars over their heads which it previously didn't have. Also, there are different tiers of difficulty and enemies from I to Elite. For those that have played Far Cry: Primal, it will be familiar in some ways in that you have get supplies to upgrade your base or where you live using ethanol that you get from clearing outpost, stealing tankers or supply drops. For those that buy it that go for the platinum, there might be one trophy you might have difficult going for which is Anger Management but overall, was a easy platinum that you can add to your collection.
Popular Post snakebit10
312 Ghost of Tsushima This was my most anticipated game this year. Always have liked Sucker Punch games and this is no let down. It does start kind of slow, but does pick up. Jin Sakai is one of my new favorite characters. Yuna was a great supporting character to him. Overall the story was good and the gameplay is great. I liked all the different stances and once you get the Ghost stance you feel like a total badass. I love open world games and Sucker Punch has a lot of practice at making them. The world is gorgeous and it never felt like it went past it's welcome. Never once did I feel bored with the game. Doing the side quest were fun, the collectibles were fairly straight forward to get. This was my most anticipated (like I mentioned) and The Last of Us Part II I had low expectations for. Well both games delivered big time. It is rare that I get to play a new release on or close to release and I had the opportunity to play both of these games starting on release. Can't wait to see what is next for Sucker Punch on PS5.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#468- Resident Evil Platinum Splattin' 'Em! Earn all trophies. Well, I finally got this one. Don't know if I would have come back to it this soon without some added peer pressure. But it was something I wanted to try for eventually, and considered doing before starting RE2. But then I figured I would get burnt out on it, and put off playing RE2 for who knows how long. So I decided against it. I have to say, it felt much easier than RE2. Lol. Without buying that weapon unlock DLC, RE2 is pretty damn brutal. My playthroughs of this went so much smoother, and that's after almost 4 years of not playing it. The controls are a bit more awkward, and take some getting used to. Not to mention fighting with the camera at every turn.. But man, I rarely died. I don't know what I was so worried about. Well, the speedrun was probably the biggest obstacle in my mind. I mean, if you could pause the game, it really wouldn't be that bad. But it's hard to follow a video and play simultaneously. Lol. And that's where Rest Mode saved my ass. It's annoying as hell to keep going in and out of it, but I just didn't know if I could do it any other way. Even my no save run took me 2 hours and 40 minutes, and that's with the infinite rocket launcher unlocked from doing the speedrun. Without it, I may have been too slow. Shout out to @Optinooby for the excellent Real Survivor/Speedrun guide, by the way. I could hardly tell the difference in increased difficulty using it. And while it felt a bit masochistic trying to combine the two, I pulled it off. With about 5 minutes to spare. ? I had to use a different guide for Invisible enemies mode, though, because I was using Chris. Ended up going back to the guy who helped me a lot with RE2: IFreeMz. And I didn't die at all on that run. Could have combined it with no saves. But you can't predict the future, I guess.. No saves is stressful, and I hate it. Thought I might have my run ended by an airborne Hunter, at one point. Thankfully, he missed. But God, why? Why!? Even on Very Easy, with barely anything being a threat, it's nerve wracking knowing you'll have to restart if you die. Or the power goes out/game crashes.. Anyways, glad to finally have this one done. As someone who was too chicken to play them in my younger days, now I've got the Plats for two. Platinum image: Spoiler I'll take one Jill sandwich to go.
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #63 - Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back Difficulty Rating 6/10 Enjoyment Rating 9/10 Very Rare - 9.58% The orange marsupial is back, in a sequel that is certainly more polished, balanced and forgiving than the game before it Growing up, I think I’ve seen more people playing the second game than the first. Maybe that goes to show just how unforgiving the first game is ? And don’t I know, I had to take many frequent breaks in between levels in Crash Bandicoot 1, but the sequel had me glued to the TV screen. Challenging as it still is, it felt a lot more fair this time around. Here in Crash Bandicoot 2, you are still collecting all the gems by breaking all boxes in a level and even doing time trials for the gold relics. Only this time you can get running shoes and are able to jump a bit higher.. making these newly acquired assets essential to completing the time trials this time around. You will be spoiled by the faster running speed and higher jumping, so it’s crucial you play the N-Sane Trilogy in chronological order.. otherwise you’re going to have an even harder time with Crash Bandicoot 1 later ? Let the first game shape you into a platforming beast and enjoy the more chill experience that comes from the sequels after it The most frustrating thing about Crash Bandicoot 2 is the ice physics. No matter how hard I tried to get use to the icy surfaces in some levels, it just didn’t seem possible. For those levels, I winged it for the most part and eventually got lucky. The polar bear levels are also nerve wracking when it comes to time trials. Putting those two things aside, Crash Bandicoot 2 is a great sequel ? While I still prefer the first game for the music, challenge and minimal gimmicks, sequel is very good too. It’s objectively the better game, and yet I stand here still liking the first game more

Popular Post Don_carlito94
# 64 Trackmania Turbo Trackmaster Who's the TrackMaster? You! Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 9.5/10 A platinum that was worth the effort, the game was fun despite the frustration I had with the black series which is the last series in the game. The control and steering is very sensitive in this game especially valley and lagoon, it was nothing like other arcade racers. White to red series (first 4 series) weren't hard to gold, even getting 50 trackmaster was only mildly challenging. I thought maybe I came prepared for the black series once I reached it, but I was very wrong - the difficulty of the tracks were not at all exaggerated by other ppl.. many of the tracks were tough as hell. You know when a challenging game has a few challenges/tracks that you had to invest many hours to master, well this game has too many of them to even count. Each time I overcome one of them an even harder track presents itself right after Some of the black tracks took some of the enjoyment away from the game, not every track but some. Funny because the tracks that annoyed me the most weren't even the hardest ones/ones I spend the most time on, but just tracks with cheap obstacles and placements. Valley is my favorite enviroment then - Lagoon - Stadium - Canyon.

Gameplay: 9/10. Violence and Widespread Chaos: 9/10. Platinum Time: 13 hours and 11 minutes. To begin, This was the most enjoyable game i've played and some choices were pretty funny as hell. Mostly good choices are easier to avoid any and bad skirmishes along the way. My good choices were 90%. As for bad choices is 10%. They were some funny interesting bad choices and nearly caught me off guard. In Episode 5 I chose my powerful team, August, Athena and Janey Springs. Felix was my original choice but I had to collect the $9,000,000 from him. I had no problems with the game whatsoever and this was a easy win-win. Popular Post Darghel
#80 A Flash of Light (The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III) Difficulty: A lot of missables and frustrating boss fights (especially on nightmare) Time to Complete: about 3-4 weeks for a total of 109 hours (Guide used) Recommended: Yes, but takes time Total Score: 8/10 I'm not going to mention anything about the story for obvious reasons: all I'll talk about is the game itself, how the game played, and how difficult it was to get the platinum. So with that out, this is the third game in the Cold Steel series (or the Erebonian arc) and unlike the first 2 games this one uses the ps4 to its (sorta) full potential, giving some better and updated graphics and a little more content to explore than before...although to be really honest it really doesn't look all that better than 1 and 2 but falcom isn't known to be a graphical machine so I'll let that skip. At any rate, the game did improve on a lot of stuff and added new things, but also combat saw a few tweaks and now you got stuff like Brave Orders and Break Gauges to give more tactical advantage to your team...yeah about that, I want to say that I definitely didn't enjoy the combat in this game but I'll say that in a minute. As for trophies, it's a "missable" galore here: more than 30 trophies are totally missables and if you skip something you'll be forced to replay the game from start. Bear in mind that this game is huge and just like CS1 and 2 it will take from 60 to 80 hours to complete (First time took me 86) so a guide is highly recommended to avoid spending 30 hours in a single section of the game. They did improve a little though and now hidden quests are actually shown on the map as well as books for the book section...wish they did that for the notes because those are still highly missable and can be only taken in very specific and short time frames! At the very least it shows you when it's updated but come on, couldn't they just tell me that I can update a specific character instead of having to literally talk to everyone? Thank God for the guides, it will save you a headache and a complete replay of the game...which you'll probably have to do anyway if you plan to do nightmare on the second run. And here's what I meant about not enjoying combat: on my first playthrough I played on normal and it wasn't exactly easy, especially at the beginning when your options are limited and enemies hit like trucks (Altina was dying after 3 hits from normal enemies and she was geared up with the best armor I could give her!). It does get better later, you get stronger and more quartz and mores lots open, until you realize that most (if not all) bosses have this bad habit of go "Super Saiyan mode" and heal for a good chunk of their hp, get stronger and usually 1 shot you with their S-Craft of something...therefore your best and only option to kill bosses is to stununlock them to death, with Sledgehammer and Wind Blade being the most used orders in my playthrough (only Sara's Lightspeed Flash was better as it overwrites more turns for you). In the end all I did was breaking the enemies and then delaying them until they died, occasionally having to reapply a break and trying not to die from the boss Super Saiyan mode, and this is even more important in a nightmare where bosses can even wipe your team on their first turn (Some bosses can put debuffs on their first turn or just flat out kill if they're lucky, which is very often, and forcing you to restart the fight). It was really frustrating though and not very fun because it felt that there wasn't any real good and reliable options to beat them, especially when they can heal more than once and it heals for a huge chunk of hp (I think about 20-30% of their max hp and on nightmare enemies have 40% more health, so do the math!), and since magic has been heavily nerfed and physical attacks don't really seem any stronger than before (with S-crafts also being much weaker too, at least at first glance) im not surprised if I had to rely on cheap tactics to get rid of the enemies without dying! TL;DR great game, great story, Truckload of missable trophies, gotta wait for chapter 4 now. As for combat and the missable trophies (especially you, treasure chest trophy) this pic sums up my opinion Spoiler Don't worry it's not censored ingame. I thought it would be best here, just in case.... Edited August 4, 2020 by Darghel

Fish-people and Ape-man FTW. The game is janky but that's where the charm is. The best parts are the investigations and the no hand-holding in figuring out what to do next. The combat is serviceable - could be better, could've been worse. All the trophies are story and choice related, some of which require a really bad choice. Unfortunately non of the choices in the story matters for the endings. It's a good Lovecraft-inspired game.

Popular Post JaM
#321 Fairy Tail More like Errand Tail... amirite? *nervous laugh* Fairy Tail Acquired all trophies. Tag yourself... I am Makarov tired of never ending Requests. I do read lots of Shonen manga but it is very rare for me to finish them. The only ones I could say I finished til now were Assassination Classroom and Fairy Tail. I am kinda updated with Gintama but I think I will wait until it is finished(Updated on anime and movies though). As much as I love One Piece, I had to stall it on the 100th Backstory arc(Wado)... Stalled Naruto and Bleach when they kept on introducing new characters on final arc that made me confuse who is who... and Conan... oh boy... Anyway, Fairy Tail is that one that I could say... my guilty pleasure. After seeing the trailer, I expected it to be the Atelier game with repetitive stuffs... but, I do love Fairy Tail so I had to Pre-order the game as soon as I can. Did I got what I expected? Unfortunately, yes. Story Ah yes... money worth spent The game started on the end of Tenrou Island Arc (Chapter 210ish | Episode 110ish) leading to the Time Skip. Which I get why they started on it... it was the point where you can build your guild from scratch. My issue though, as much as they tried to... I find it not friendly to unfamiliar with the series...They do try to explain the previous arcs in one page of their own but obviously, most of the details will be left out (I know, kinda nitpicking) Also, basically, if your image is not in the game... you don't exist in this game and most likely will not be mentioned *cough* half of FT members *cough*. And the Tartaros arc.. you poor arc. I get it why they had to adapt it, it was the point where Lucy and Gray will have new moves. I just wished they just adapted the TimeSkip (X791 Arc) to Grand Magic Games arc and maybe make a sequel to adapt the rest of the series. Gameplay Of course Lucy is the one that has this useful skill. How to explain the gameplay in one word? Atelier. If you have played any Atelier game then you will most likely know most of the gameplay in this game. Less the Deadlines *woo hoo*. It is a Turn Base RPG, where you will use Magics 99% of the time. Later on, as you fight more powerful Sponges.. I mean more powerful Mages and Monsters...it will be basically build Friendship Meter... press + mash to win. The most bizarre thing though is your enemies are on 3 x 3 area... where they can move, each magic you can use have their moves have pattern where they can hit... but your party... Nooooooo, they will just stand there in one line where the enemies can either hit one or all of your party... how fun, did I mentioned that later on these monsters evolved to sponges? Trophies I could not even remember how many times I have seen this exact image No Missable. YAY! And it is straight forward tbh. There's a trophy that is basically a collectible but it is not that hard to get if you check every part of maps. There is a bit of RNG needed to see a specific skill but with how long the road to plat is, you will get it along the way.... So, looks easy right? yes and no... It basically depends on your tolerance in repetitive quests... yes, your mortal enemy for the plat is Boredom. It feels that the requests never ends. So, in every Guild Rank (D to S) there are 10 kill these monsters quests. 50 of them and there's the obligatory member related ones and boss re-fights. And of course, the game loves fun so you are forced to only take one request at a time. You'd better start thinking of what show to binge if you are planning to plat the game. You're welcome. So, in the end of the day, do I regret pre-ordering the game? Not really, I expected it to be tedious as soon as I saw the trailer but what can I say, I love Fairy Tail. Was it worth full price? NO. I would say buy it if you are a huge fan of the series and if it is on sale... like huge price drop sale.

Popular Post FMWWant
Platinum #59 Cuphead Man oh man, Cuphead. Interesting history I have with this wonderful game. When it was first announced many moons ago, I really wanted the game. Countless delays had me on the edge of my seat and when it finally came out, I was hooked from the get go! From the look of the game, the controls, the music, everything about this game just popped. So much so that I have the deluxe vinyl set and bought it again on Steam and the Switch. I never completed it fully on the Xbox when it first came out but when it got the surprise release on the PS4, I knew that I needed to challenge myself to get this trophy. The bosses were challenging on normal but when it came down to beating all of them again on Expert, a brawl was surely brewing. Every time I heard that "Knockout" I pumped my fist in the air. On the more challenging bosses that I struggled with (namely in Isle 3) I thought I was going to break my controller. I remained calm and collected, each victory getting me a step closer to the platinum. And there I was, facing The Devil, knowing that I was one win away from victory. I was hard and every time I was close, he would beat me, taunt me. Finally, I had that last run that would seal the deal on this story and I beat the Devil, almost throwing my controller in the air and yelling but it was almost 2 in the morning so I just quietly danced. For I have done it, I have unlocked the trophy and the proudest platinum in my collection! Cuphead is such a great game and I can't wait to see the DLC down the road!!!
Popular Post Mayellie
#27 - BioShock Remastered Platinum Trophy Unlock all trophies Really late to the party with this one. About 13 years late, so the food has gone bad, the cops have shut down the party, and everyone else has already gone home. I enjoyed partying alone, nonetheless! Buuuuuut, in case you’re even more late to the party than I am (normally, I'd say to just head back home at this point, but this is an exception because you shouldn't miss out on this game), BioShock is a first person shooter unlike any you’ve played before, set in 1959 after you crash-land in an underwater city, which you come to learn is named Rapture. The way I see it, some big guy wanted to be the big boss of something, so he built a hidden underwater city free of morals, ethics, and limits in every way possible. You can imagine that that can lead to quite questionable practices... and naturally, it does. With injectable substances known as Adam and Eve that carry the ability to genetically modify your DNA, you gain Plasmids. Plasmids are “powers” and range from electrocuting enemies (including bots, security cameras, and turrets so you can hack them), setting them on fire, to hypnotizing them so they do your dirty work for you, and more. Along with a varied arsenal of weapons at your disposal, you fight your way through Rapture to uncover the mystery of its downfall, and how some once-ordinary inhabitants either became enemies known as Splicers, or mentally conditioned Adam harvesters known as Little Sisters, and their Big Daddies which act as their protectors. All the upgrades and abilities you can acquire and use lead to a pretty varied and tailored play-style, which adds replay value. BioShock’s story is told through the environment and audio diaries which are treated as collectibles. The main character doesn’t speak, so there isn’t any actual dialogue between him and other characters. While voice acting would have added depth, I think the audio diaries did a fantastic job of telling Rapture’s story, along with some interesting characters you meet. You start to piece together, bit by bit, what happened to Rapture, its citizens, the remaining people, and why everything went to hell in a city which should’ve been any dreamer’s haven. My favorite character is Sander Cohen. I thought he was maniacally awesome! His section was a perfect length; long enough for you to piece things together, but doesn't outstay its welcome. I’d heard that BioShock 1’s story was among gaming’s best, and I see why now (thanks to @JoaLoft for giving me the push I needed to start this franchise!). I’m a thorough explorer (gotta get into EVERY. single. nook. and cranny), so the game built up its mystery-esque story very steadily through audio diaries I found and some cutscenes. The audio diaries that explain major plot points are very easy to spot, so you won’t miss out on those. The big plot twist/reveal was fantastic and totally blew me away! It was unexpected and incredibly impressive. Up until that point, I’d give the game a 9/10. However, after the twist, I felt the story deflated to an 8/10. I wish it kept that same momentum and stuck its landing. Trophies-wise, you’ll get most by simply playing the story. Hack this machine, upgrade your Plasmid slots, collect X number of tonics, etc. If you explore, rather than run to your objectives, those should be a breeze. There’s one missable depending on which ending you get due to your actions throughout the game. I got the best ending on my first playthrough, so I didn’t have to keep that in mind for the second. My second playthrough was mainly for the Survival difficulty without using Vita chambers. I also needed to keep in mind to photograph enemies for “research” trophies, which were easy to do. There’s one collectible trophy which is to collect all 122 audio diaries. Sounds like a lot, but they’re not difficult to find and add depth to the story (to be fair, those are almost pretty much the story). I thought they were well done! Initially, I had a rough time adjusting to BioShock which resulted in not enjoying it for one reason or another. I couldn’t put my finger on whether it's because I expected it to be Uncharted-style fast paced, because I hadn’t played shooters in a hot minute, or simply because it was completely new to me. I’m really happy I pushed through because once I got used to the controls, I enjoyed my time a lot more. While the game does feel dated (can’t complain about that, though) it still provides the most innovative shooter experience I’ve ever seen. It’ll be a while before I get around to BioShock 2, but I know it’ll be a treat once I do! (P.S.: Got this from PS+. If it's sitting in your library, and you haven't played it whether it's your first or 17th playthrough from playing it on PS3... well, would you kindly play it?! ) Time: 39 hours for my first playthrough (I really took my time). 6 hours for the second. 45 total. Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Definitely recommend! Edited August 4, 2020 by Mayellie

This is the right game for you... if you own PSVR. This is a mix of SuperHOT and Beat Saber. Select a track, lock and load and ready to smash. You're all breathtaking. Wait, backup. That's actually what the platinum looks like? I just took a moment to look it up and it is. That's awesome.
