Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #450: World of Final Fantasy (Vita) The chibi art style and Lann 20 IQ act turned me off. The boosting session here on PSNP for Maduin trophy motivated me to start this game again. When did I get to that point, found that Vita has no Online Functionality that you can only trade through Ad Hoc (Local). Thankfully, the sand mini game was easy: ( 1 from left, 1 Down), (1 from right, 1 Down), and Bottom Right Corner for placements. Enjoyed collecting mirages and evolving them. Anime Cut scenes in there were nice like. Would have been great for them to have Anime or Movie pairing like FFXV. Popular Post Spamlynguist
#23 The Order: 1886 (PS4) The Grail Not bad. I've been buying/playing the PS4 exclusives I haven't had the chance to play yet and I was pleasantly surprised by this game. It's really short but the weapons and world were interesting enough to hold my interest. Edited August 6, 2020 by Spamlynguist

Popular Post WayfarerFox
God of War III (PS4) #172 Time to platinum: 12 hours | Difficulty: 3/10 | Enjoyment: 9/10 Overview I mean I shouldn't really need to write this. If you've been on playstation a long time you should know who Kratos is by now and what he does. The end of the originally planned trilogy. You are now bringing the war to all of the Gods of Olympus. You're Kratos and you will do anything it takes to get the job done. No matter the cost and be damned if you get in his way. Literally carries on straight away from God of War 2 and are thrown right into the action. Gameplay Fixed camera angles which you can't change with the right analog stick. That is dodge in this game and the amount of times I tried to change camera angles was beyond me but I learnt in the end. It's an hack and slash type of game. Do devastating combos to anyone who gets in your way. Light attacks, heavy attacks, grabs. The game does this really well. Kratos is naturally a badass. He deserves the title God of War. You go through all of Olympus navigating through the different realms such as Hades and others. Completing puzzles and fighting a ton of enemies with badass moments. As you progress the enemies do become a little tougher and you have to use different weapons to take care of them and they're all great. I hate the sirens and the wraiths though. They seem to take forever to get rid of otherwise everything else is pretty simple. Some of the boss battles have some really nice camera choices like first person from the bosses view and yeah. I won't ruin the surprises but it's really done well. Characters The characters in this one are pretty much all dicks. Even Kratos, he's just a super angry dick. The gods don't care for their own people. Kratos doesn't care for anyone at all besides getting revenge. I've never really liked Athena. She keeps changing her mind and it's annoying. It's explained towards the end why the gods acted the way they did towards Kratos and it does make sense honestly. Kratos does have some redeeming qualities. He does care for one person in the game and if you did him no harm he will leave you alone. Other than that he's the most angry character in video games right? Surely has to be. Trophies All trophies are very straight forward. There are quite a few missable ones but if you explore everywhere getting all the chests, upgrades, killing enemies certain ways you should be fine. Always look up a guide for missables if you haven't played the game before. The rest of the trophies are for upgrading. Hitting a 1000hit combo which is a lot simpler than you think if you level up a certain gods claws. In typical God of War fashion there is a challenge mode afterwards and honestly out of the trilogy. These probably do have the easiest challenges. Theres so many ways to get them done where you don't have to worry about times at all. There's a difficulty trophy but you literally don't have to worry about it. There's a glitch where you can start the game with infinite health and magic and all upgrades to weapons. You can either then do the whole game again OR you can get to the three judges. Do something you'd do right at the end of the game and then get to the final boss fight. So about 30mins to 60 minutes for a second playthrough if you don't want to go through everything again and you didn't miss anything. Conclussion The game is still one of the best around. It's so much fun and honestly it's worth playing if you've never played it before. I'm sure the majority would have though. The PS4 version when I downloaded it was a whopping 42GB but it's justified by the touch up job they have produced on the PS4 it's actually really good looking and can probably hold up against other games coming out at the minute considering it's 10 years old. It was offered on PS+ a while back so it might be in your library if you collected games every month. Even if it goes on a sale it's worth getting. Trophies are simple and can be practically done in 1-2 sittings if you have the time.
Popular Post Cal
Ghost of Tsushima My 40th platinum and what a great last exclusive game for the PS4! I enjoyed every minute of my play time with this game, it's crazy how goddamn beautiful this game is. I think I have taken at least 30 pics which is something I rarely do with games if they have a photo mode in them, least favourite trophy is the one were you have to get all the collectables got tedious pretty quick but my favourite and the best trophy in the game is the one were you have to dress up as a certain thief, glad Sucker Punch haven't forgotten about him.

Popular Post Boomshanks
( 54) Battlefield 4 (PS3) Platinum Trophy Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 So 2012/2013 was one of my best periods in gaming where we had a solid group of 8 friends and we used to play Black Ops II online every week as a squad. It was amazing and in the end we actually got pretty good at it . But as it is with these games, a new one comes out every year and we had to decide between Call of Duty or Battlefield. Most of my friends chose Battlefield 4 so that’s why I switched and it’s when I found out I absolutely suck at this game online. I don’t know what it is. Somehow I’m always the wrong class. When I’m an Engineer I don’t see any vehicles. Then I’ll switch to a new class and suddenly there’s tanks everywhere. I couldn’t get a sniper kill even if the enemy was clapping his buttcheeks in my face and whenever I tried to pilot a helicopter the world would hold it’s breath to see which building I would crash it into this time ?. I had some fun with the game with my friends, but it just wasn’t the same as CoD and people quickly stopped playing. I know that this is more my fault than the game’s fault – though it didn’t help that the game was absolutely broken at release. And no pre-game lobby, are kidding me. So yeah, my experience with the online wasn’t great. Years later I decided to try the campaign in order to clean up the game for the platinum. It was okay… I don’t know, the gameplay is cool but these games are just too much macho and hoorah for me. I like to feel badass in a game but these stories are so over the top and to me they feel like they’re written by Michael Bay’s thirteen year old nephew. Gameplay really was good though and the trophies were easy, so there’s that. I actually only needed one trophy for the platinum for about two years – for getting 45 kills with a certain handgun online. I did it back in 2018… only with the wrong handgun . It was at about 70 kills when I started to feel like something was wrong. So yeah, I left it for a time but came back when I became worried that the online might start acting up more and more. I’m still thinking about going for all of the DLC to get the 100%. But I’m thinking about going for the 100% on a lot of games so we’ll see where we get.
Popular Post erickt123
#62 - Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS3) The sequel to Sly 1, and similar to Jak 2, it changed up the gameplay formula drastically. While Sly 2 isn't boasting a bleak world like Jak 2, it features 8 open levels with missions to complete and guards on patrol as your obstacles. Sometimes you'll enter in buildings or other areas, but for the most part, you'll be completing missions in the main hub world and admittedly, repetition can kick in since you have to play through 8 hub worlds playing some of the same missions repeatedly. And Sly 2 also has the flaw of not having much to do in the hub worlds outside of finding clue bottles and finding loot around the levels. You also can't replay missions you already completed, even in this HD port which confuses me since Sly 3 has that option and I am sure it would have not been difficult to implement. Flaws aside, I do enjoy Sly 2 and I still find the writing and characters to be entertaining and good fun even today. After having replayed Sly 1 however, I can definitely see why some people might have preferred the gameplay of Sly 1 a bit more, at least on the platforming side of things. Regardless, Sly 2 isn't a very difficult game and I think it's something fans of platformers can get some enjoyment from.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#469- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered (that's a mouthful) Is That All You Got? Earn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Campaign Remastered. This was a nice Plus game to get. This and the original Modern Warfare are my favorite CoDs, simply for their campaigns (I never played any online). But I haven't played a lot of them. Lol. World at War and the first Black Ops I think are the only others. Fun to revisit, and I hope the third one is on its way. Only one of the trilogy I never played. Trophies are mostly fine, but the one added for not dying kind of sucks. :/ Makes it so you have to play through the entire game twice, and even on Recruit dying can happen from a number of things. Explosions, grenades, melee attacks, getting ran over, falling between buildings, etc. Really annoyed me in some levels, having to restart a number of times. Speedrun trophy wasn't bad, at least. Has nothing on the one in Titanfall 2, but it still took me about an hour of practice. At first, even 30 seconds looked like a challenge. But the times just got lower and lower with each run. And then it all finally clicked: Spoiler But yeah, it's still a great campaign. And looks amazing in this remaster. I wish all remasters looked as good as these CoDs. Popular Post realm722
Unravel Two Platinum #100! (1.69% rarity) This is extra special for me because my FIRST PLATINUM EVER - was Unravel (the 1st game) and when I platinumed it in 2016 I had 0 idea there would ever be a 2nd version of the game, the fact that there is and I managed to be good enough to make it my 100th over 4 years later is crazy to me! It is also my rarest non-sports platinum I've ever earned to this date - so it's extra special dear to me for that. Jermster_91
Platinum #58 Storm Boy A cheap fast platinum. Doesn't really bring much. Platinum #59 Drowning This was a cheap fast platinum but it is different. This is about how a person goes through depression which we all face from time to time, some more than others. Sure you can skip the scenes after you get the collectibles in some areas, but would advise playing it all the way through. Popular Post ZoutjeNL
#43 Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 1/10 I always like to play idle games. Having completed many of these on pc I am familiar with the world of idle games. I would say this is the best idle game that excists on the Playstation platform. It gets updated regularly and there is no sign of them stopping anytime soon. It is one of the longer idle games to complete in terms of hours but compared to the PC version it is pretty short. According ot the ps-timetracker bot it took me a little over 360h to complete the game. Overall the trophies are pretty quick and easy to obtain with the exception of a few. The adventure variants got easyier since launch as there are 3 event champions available during each event plus more campaigns got added. The last trophy you likely will obtain (unless you don't focus on variants) is 250 freeplay runs. Simply reset at 50 and you are good to go. If you use speed champions and or speed potions buffs this will decrease the time of the runs. Overall an enjoyable platinum if you like idle games. I used remote play to reset on my pc while studying or while watching youtube or netflix which is always nice. This is basically a free platinum! Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #133 Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders. Difficulty: 2/10. Enjoyment: 8/10. Puzzles and Hidden Objectives: 8/10. Platinum Time: 8 hours and 25 minutes. To begin, Point and Click adventure games are pretty dead easy and easy to plat in a couple hours. I enjoy platinum Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders and it was a great, mysterious, magic and conspiracy game. Puzzles aren't very hard at all. Took my time and patience to isolate down each piece by piece and as for the hidden objectives, They're easy to follow down the clues and solutions and manage to pull off all of em. This is just the beginning and I have more Point and Click adventures on me and time to move on to my next objective.
