Popular Post Draps-1337
#73 Steep 7/10 Enjoyment 5/10 Difficulty Steep is a criminally underrated Ubisoft game. I'm not a fan at all of traditional sports games. But Steep is so incredibly chill (excuse the pun) and has such an ease of access. The player gets to feel like a badass snowboarder, skier, wingsuit master, paraglider, rocket suit flier. It's incredibly fun, the soundtrack is all licensed pop, rock, chill music and is super awesome for getting into a flow and just letting time fade away. Exploration is fun because playing is fun. It's a truly open world, go anyway do anything and the challenge comes from the bigger mountains with harsher terrain. The platinum is UR at 2.83% but I'm not sure why. It's not super long and while there is a few challenges that are pretty hard, it's nothing you can't overcome. You also don't need to get gold medals on every track in the base game you get about 4 or 5 that you can skip.

Popular Post Raveniteh
platinum #335 - Persona 5 I finally did it. After 200+ hours across two playthroughs (one for story and maxing out social stats and second for trophy hunting) over 3 years (yeah I 'forgot' to play this game after ~70hours) I finally became Legendary Phantom Thief. I really enjoyed P5 with exception of Morgana telling me to go to sleep every fking time. Glad they kinda fixed that issue in Royal edition because I plan to get it eventually. But now that this one is done, it's time for some (Persona 5) dancing in starlight! Edited August 24, 2020 by Raveniteh
Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #149 Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala Common: 78.37% Difficulty: 4/10. Enjoyment: 8/10. Graphics: 6/10. Challenge: 8/10. Platinum Time: 10 hours and 56 minutes. Completing the entire trilogy of Enigmatis Series was a pretty well challenge. But to re-iterate, Today was pretty good, Getting a 3 different collectibles were well challenge throughout the game. All trophies turnout great, gonna love the tough challenges come to by. Overall the Enigmatis series was very good and I enjoyed all 3 of em. I am very happy and pleased that I got this done and now time for me to shift to my next trilogy pack. The Next Platinum will be: Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart.

Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #66 - Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Julius Caesar - Earn all trophies 579,865 Owners - 22,263 Achievers for a percentage of 3.84% (average completion; 45.56%) Enjoyment; 1/10 Difficulty; 6/10 Trophies; 1/10 (numerous glitched Trophies, soulless tiles, terrible B/S/G balance) Sense of relief; 10/10 Full review in my Trophy Checklist I hate Assassin's Creed, so if you love the series you're probably better off not reading the rest of this post. On April 22nd 2011, my younger brother put Brotherhood on my profile without asking, which was the start of a nearly nine year long headache for me; the prospects of having to clean up after him by trawling through another Assassin's Creed (he had previously pulled a stunt like this with AssCreed II) was not only painful but devoutly daunting because of the ridiculous decision by Ubisoft to include multiplayer and related Trophies - making this series the latest in a long line of IPs that absolutely did not need an online component, but still got it bolted on anyway. After my brother got bored with the game (having collected only 23 out of the 51 base Trophies), I picked up his copy again in May 2012 to clean up 14 of the easier singleplayer Trophies before putting it back on the shelf to resume one day in the future. For the next eight years, I had this awful game living in my head, rent-free, reminding me that I still needed to grind to level 50 online and complete Abstergo Employee of The Month - lest one day Ubi pulls the plug on the servers, and I have more unobtainables on my unearned list. At the start of August this year I got my PS3 back (I had emigrated since but not brought along my dear little Phat) and with a newly-bought used copy of the game and free DLC courtesy of the Hong Kong PSN store, I set out to get 100% on the game. And let me tell you, it was awful, just plain awful; Brotherhood was already poor on launch, what with the unfinished Rome map (left over from II's development) quickly polished up to serve as the game's single main location, the gameplay being as shallow and uninspiring as ever, the story amounting to very little and ending on a cliffhanger, and the multiplayer being one of the most technically inept pieces of work I've seen recently. This was Ubi's first foray into online territory for AssCreed, and it showed; the updates were botched and made getting a lobby together for boosting extremely hard, some people would continuously get the infamous 'Unreachable' error and the game flat out refused to let certain people play together; our boosting party had to lobby and relobby time and again to get all six of us into the same game, which then left us praying the connection wouldn't be severed. This contributed to the game having aged like milk; it's almost embarrassing that this title was released at full price back in 2011, and that people willingly played the tired, uninspired modes that make up the multiplayer component. But I persevered; I suffered through most of the story again for 100% sync for il Principe (a painful DLC Trophy that requires you to 100% pretty much all of the dull content this game has to offer), redid the first four sequences in full to fix the glitched story Trophies (which have caused my list to have impossible ordering - thank God Brotherhood is known to be a glitchy mess, Trophy-wise), collected all the dumb flags and feathers, and cleaned up multiplayer. Platinum and 100% in the bag, two new Ultra Rares for the collection, and after more than eight years, finally some peace of mind. I almost want to tell Ubi to finally kill the servers now that I finished the MP, but for the sake of everyone else unfortunate enough to still require some of the online Trophies, I hope they remain up and running for many more years to come. If you're thinking about playing Brotherhood, be it on PS3 or on PS4 via the Ezio collection, in 2020 for the first time, then please don't. Please. But if you've already started and need to clean up, then you absolutely should; the feeling of relief you get once that Platinum dings is unparalleled. And thank goodness I didn't lose my sense of humour; I left Spring Cleaning as the final Trophy before Plat to celebrate my efforts. I'm off to finish Revelations and Black Flag now; yes, I was stupid enough to let my brother put FOUR(!!!) AssCreed games on my profile before getting smart and setting up a password.

Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #54 Road Bustle Platinum deliveryman So lately, I have not been popping many trophies, due to limited time to play, and using what time I do have to focus on a grindy game where my remaining trophies pop infrequently. Sitting around yesterday, with half an hour or so to kill, I stumbled upon this game (and the next) and remembering saying out loud, 'Perfect.'. Got all of the trophies for this one in 8 minutes. It's a simple Frogger-like game where you run across roads trying not to avoid collision with oncoming vehicles. The price is just right at one dollar and the soundtrack is pretty cool, though it does loop after only a few minutes. Platinum #55 Memory Lane Pineal Gland Opening Another quicky - beat the whole thing in 10 minutes. A memory game a la the kind you might play with a kid, flipping over cards trying to remember which ones were which, so you can match them up and collect a pile of pairs. Nothing else to this one, aside from a few fun facts about the human brain. Did you know our brains take up only 2% of our body weight, but demand up to 25% of our oxygen? Or something like that, can't exactly remember...
Popular Post DefinitiveTJ
Platinum 51: Ghost of Tsushima A game I really wanted to love so badly but in the end failed to leave a mark. Sucker Punch is a great studio and I loved all their previous games but somehow I weirdly could not get into it. That doesn’t mean it is bad, certainly not, it just wasn’t for me. But I must say, the game looks stunning and the art team did a terrific job to make the locals both authentic to the real location and make it more magical simultaneously. You could ask: Why platinum if you didn’t like it all that much? And it’s a fair question, I guess in the end I wanted to see it through to see if it would get it’s hooks in me and after the story and all the side missions it wasn’t too much to ask to finish the rest too. In the end I did get to cosplay as Sly Cooper so in a way, what more can I ask?

Popular Post Desmuria
I have a fair few recent platinums since my last update. I'm extremely proud of achieving level 52 for my trophies now. #308 - Nicole Platinum Nicole Get all other trophies. Ehhh, this really wasn't worth the money that I paid for it. If you're a trophy hunter, the game is your bog standard visual novel and you need to collect all the endings. It's yet another cutsey dating sim and fans of the genre would enjoy it, I'm sure. #309 - 112th Seed Puzzle Master Unlock all other trophies This was such a cute little puzzle game. I really enjoyed playing it. The trophies are dead simple too. You just have to complete levels and they pop after each one. Some levels require a little bit of planning, but nothing is too hard and it's all manageable in about half an hour. Just absolutely gutted this didn't get Vita support because I would've loved playing it twice for the stack. #310 - Evan's Remains Evan's Remains Platinum What an absolutely stunning game. I didn't realise this game was actually crowd-funded, but I'm honestly glad it was. It's a 2D puzzle platformer game and the environments are luscious to look at. There are some missable trophies, but the video guide by @IBadDriverI was extremely helpful. I will be keeping an eye on these developers with interest. #311 & #312 - Iron Snout Platinum Pig Get all other trophies I've made it my mission to sort out and attempt to clean out my backlog (link in my signature). This was one of the MANY games that I had rotting in my library and it's not all that bad. You basically beat the crap out of wolves by punching, kicking, throwing sharp items and impaling them. Particularly satisfying to play if you're a little angry, I'd say. Trophy-wise, it's a walk in the park - it's just grindy. Takes about an hour to get the platinum. #313 - Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises Platinum Unlock every Trophy. Yet another Artifex Mundi game under my belt and, despite not particularly liking the non-fantasy stories, I quite enjoyed this one. The puzzles were varied enough to keep things interesting and the story line was fun. The detective work, similar to Enigmatis, didn't bother me all that much and I enjoyed uncovering the secrets. I'll continue to say it: I love these games and I'll continue to buy them and play them. #314 - Memory Lane Pineal Gland Opening All Seeing and all hearing... It's a memory game. You play until you reach a certain amount of points and the platinum pops. It's really that simple. Not much gameplay involved, just how well you remember stuff. Only recommended for trophy hunters. #315 - Cat Quest II Pawlatinum You are pawsome! The cat puns return in this epic sequel to the amazing Cat Quest. This time you have a little doggo friend to help you out and it's actually adorable. The trophies are all straight forward and the game can be completed in about 6-8 hours of non-stop gaming. The only trouble I had was that damn level 200 dungeon. A massive amount of dodging later, finally beat it. Highly recommended for anyone who likes cats and doesn't mind having puns shoved down their throat. #316 - Oxenfree Leave Possible? Collect all trophies. Oxenfree is definitely a game I'd recommend if you don't mind doing numerous playthroughs. The story is driven by the choices you make and even the slightest comment can shift the dynamic in your friendship group. It's fascinating stuff and truly an awesome game. The twist at the end left me feeling really hollow inside. I can't say too much because anything I do say is potential spoiler territory. It's one of those games you really need to experience for yourself. #317 - Even The Ocean Beyond The Ocean Get all other trophies. There's not really a whole lot I can say about this game. If you play it legit, you're apparently looking at a 5-6 hour experience. I earned the platinum in 5 minutes thanks to Warp Mode and, once again, @IBadDriverI's video guide. It's really cute in appearance and looks like mix between a visual novel / exploration game. Super quick and easy platinum for trophy hunters and, without Warp Mode, something decent for legit players too. #318 - Of Tanks and Demons III Platinum future Сollect all trophies Basically, this game is PacMan but with tanks and demons. There are 22 levels to complete, including three boss battles. Thanks, yet again, to @IBadDriverI for his video guide that had a cheat code for the game. You can activate God Mode and earn in-game currency to buy the best tank and upgrade it fully from the start. The game is piss easy after that. Just takes time working through all the levels. #319 - Darkestville Castle Darkestville Demon Keep the key to the castle. I'd been looking forward to playing Darkestville Castle for a while now as it's very reminiscent of the old classic point-and-click games. I did enjoy it, but I felt that it tried way too hard to be like Monkey Island. In the same vein that Deponia tried too hard. They even make reference to The Curse of Monkey Island in Darkestville Castle. One of the characters wishes Cid luck finding the uncursed diamond ring. I won't lie, it did make me giggle a bit. There was an awful lot of back and forth between scenes and some of the dialogue rambled on a little too much. All-in-all, an enjoyable experience. If you're a point-and-click fan, this one should definitely be on your radar. Many thanks to @themindisacity for the amazing text guide, found HERE to use. Popular Post StraightVege
Hyper Domination #233 (11th Fastest Achiever) Unbelievably, this relatively recent shoot 'em up game was a Kickstarter project developed by Hewson Consultants, who also created a bunch of good shooters in the 1980's. Amazing that they still exist in any capacity! The player is tasked with piloting their ship on horizontally-scrolling attack runs over various enemy weapon platforms, until they destroy all ground targets, at which point, a unique boss will appear. Meanwhile, they'll have to deal with assaults by a large variety of enemy craft (including groups which fly in formation), and hazards such as falling asteroids and missiles that streak across the screen. Since the ship continually accelerates on its own, there's no choice but to flip directions back and forth until everything on deck is demolished, with this flip doubling as a powerful dodge maneuver, affording near-invincibility when used rapidly. A boost is also available, to escape danger or ram enemies—pretty simplistic overall, and not very challenging as far as shmups go, but it manages to be enjoyable enough for a short while. There are only a dozen brief levels, so the game achieves length and replayability by offering several modes and difficulty settings. Unfortunately, they don't do much to alleviate repetition beyond the initial playthrough. Survival Mode is a boring joke, as one can simply flip back and forth while firing, and effortlessly survive for as long as desired. Boss Mode is just the same bosses you've already defeated during Arcade, only this time, no weapon power-ups will spawn, so it's more tedious to deplete their health bars. The difficulties aren't different enough from each other to really matter, either. I could barely tell Normal, Hard, and Retro apart, other than some additional deck obstacles to crash into on Retro. I'm sure the game could be platinumed in a day, but I didn't have the patience for it. Still, I don't intend to be too negative about Hyper Sentinel. It's great that this small team of legendary devs were able to release a decent retro arcade-style game all these years later, and at an affordable price; I paid a measly few cents for it on a sale, so I'm not really complaining. It's probably worth picking up for 2D shmup fans, especially at a reduced cost. One tip for anyone who decides to try this game: while holding down the shoot button works fine most of the time, you can fire faster by tapping it. I didn't become aware of this ability until I was at 60% completion, but it's seriously helpful with beating bosses more quickly to earn the time-related medals. Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #90: Ghost of Tsushima Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Got this game on release and I enjoyed myself. But it took a while before this game and I clicked. For a long while, I wasn't feeling it. After a while the story picks up and that's when I couldn't stop playing. That was around the end of act II. I don't think it was the best game ever, best exclusive, the best looking game, or something like that. This game is good, but not great in my opinion. The plat isn't that hard, but you have to collect quite somethings to get it. Didn't overly enjoy it, but I had fun. Next up will probably be Sly 1 (Vita). I just started it yesterday. Injustice is such a good game and more if you like/love Dc Comics characters, the trophy list in my opinion isn´t that hard there are only 3 trophies that are going to make you a challenge and those are: 1. 720 Stars in Star Labs Mission 2. Complete all Battle Modes 3. Get to level 100 (Big thanks to @SteveCheraLouis if it wans´t for him this one will consumed mi life lol) If you can do that 3 trophies you will be done and thank´s god there are good strategies for each one so with a bit of practice and luck you will make it if you really want trust me. (This is my first fighting game only genre platinum). And for your mental health and time say a friend or prepare a turbo controller for getting to level 100 cause that is so crazy grinding there if you planning to doit naturally lol. The rest of the trophies are fearly easy and as I said you just need a bit of patience and luck for this. What an awesome surprise this game has been Those who know me probably know that I am quite a bubbly, uplifting guy so playing the story of three friends doing their wholesome best to chase their dreams made me unreasonably happy throughout! I was craving some cool crafting system and it's so cool in this game! The gathering was fun, the music is soothing and triumphant and the atmosphere is overall wholesome and relaxing. I love a good challenge but I felt like it would be a waste to make this game difficult so I played it on Very Easy difficulty and focused on the fun, and I absolutely recommend it! Now I take a trophy break as I dive back into the world of Final Fantasy XIV, happy trophy hunting everybody!
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#323 - Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Splinter Cell Unlock all trophies This is one of the finest stealth games I've ever played. I liked the first two Splinter Cell games, but Chaos Theory is such a huge leap when it comes to quality/production value. I can see why it's considered the peak of the series. The gameplay has been significantly improved and you have more options about how to tackle each mission. The story was excellent and I thought they did an amazing job developing the characters and their relationships with each other. I love all the witty remarks and jokes they make other over the radio. ? The platinum was pretty straight-forward. Nothing all that difficult, but 3 playthroughs are required. Even so, I had fun from start to finish.
