Popular Post ExistentialSolid
#200 - Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! ~ Taiko Trophy Master ~Difficulty: 8-9 ~ Enjoyment: 9/10 Time really flies, huh? I started playing Taiko (a drumming rhythm game) over a year and a half ago, right around the time I started taking trophy hunting more seriously. When I looked over the trophy list for the first time, I remember thinking something like, "I couldn't do this even if I wanted to, this is way beyond my skill level." The most intimidating trophy on the list was "Extreme EX Relay Full Combo 10,000" for getting 10,000 hits across consecutive full combo clears on 8☆+ songs on extreme or extra extreme without using support. Basically, what this means is that you need to chain together a series of full combos on some really difficult Taiko songs without missing a single note until you can manage 10,000 total hits. There are a few ways to go about this but the simplest is to choose 1 song and full combo it over and over again until you reach 10,000 hits. Save scumming wasn't an option here. Experienced Taiko players could play songs like "Kurenai" or "Senbonzakura" (which each have around 1,000 notes) about 10 or 11 times and earn the trophy in 30-45 minutes. But less experienced players (like me) will opt for easier songs like "Ninja Re Bang Bang" or "Memeshikute" which require 19 consecutive full combo clears and 27 consecutive full combo clears respectively to reach 10,000 notes. So what did I do? I honed my skills until I could play 8☆+ songs, half-heartedly practiced "Ninja Re Bang Bang," got about 5 consecutive full combo clears at best, and then... I gave up. Playing nearly perfectly for an hour was just too much. I then spent a year and a half trophy hunting in other games, filling my list with harder and harder games along the way until, one day, I learned something valuable: There is no such thing as "way beyond my skill level." Anyone can earn any platinum they want if they're willing to put in the effort. So, about a week ago, I came back with a vengeance to prove to my former self that I was wrong and that I could do it. And you know what? I absolutely annihilated it. I spent 3 days grinding "Memeshikute" and managed 27 consecutive full combo clears like it was business as usual. My heart may have pounded along the way and I had one gut-wrenching loss at 20 full combo clears but I picked myself up and kept pushing until this once intimidating trophy was dust beneath my heel. ~~~ Now, why did I save this game for platinum #200? Some of you may know that I have an obsession with the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva series (I have around 1,000 hours in Future Tone alone) so I wanted to celebrate the occasion with a Miku victory lap by getting my last combo related trophy (999+ Combo) in the song "Senbonzakura" (Miku also gets to play with you in this particular song). In the end, I got to prove my former self wrong and celebrate with Miku (as goofy as that sounds). I can think of no better way to earn my 200th platinum. Popular Post sk_lp_him
#68 - BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition Platinum Columbia Acquire all other trophies A very satisfying plat to probably the best story driven shooter. Even though I played it years ago on PC the story still amazes me. But as with everything nothing is perfect and the two things I hated the most are the lack of manual save and the limitation of carrying only two weapons. Two weapons sucks, I mean this is not a realistic game to go with only two weapons at a time. Coming from BioShock 1 & 2 this was big downgrade for me. So now it's time for the dlc-s, I hope the challenges aren't too bad.

Popular Post Velt162
#144 Fairy Tail Difficulty : 2/10 Time : 29 Hours Fun : 7.5/10 Simple and very easy jrpg to platinum, takes 29 hours with skip cutscene. just need to finish the story, clear all request, and 1 trophy for collectible. gameplay quite fun for an anime game. clearing all request is way too repetitive and there are a lot of them, about 100 request to clear, most of them are killing monster and gahering ingredient. Pros : Colorful anime style simple and fun platinum good attack and character animation lot of fast travel to move faster between map Cons : Side quest way too repetitive lack of enemy variety
Popular Post SIick_50_
Platinum #60 - Grip Enjoyment - 8/10 Grind - 5/10 If you’re a fan of wall riding racers this is probably one of the best games. Really flew under the radar but it’s very enjoyable and the grind isn’t too bad. Campaign is fun and challenging, the obstacle courses are easy except for the last few which will take quite a bit of skill, and the CPU’s are balanced so beating the game is only dependent on how well you run the tracks. Would definitely recommend for anybody who enjoys casual racing games
Guest
Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Genuinely one of my favorites ever. South Park is legendary for being stupid and ridiculous and they didn't dial anything back. Everything about the game is so damn fun. The only minor thing I don't love is that the combat is a little too involved. Almost every move has some sort of quick time event and is a bit unnecessary. Other than that, the game is perfect. The story is over the top and wonderful, the combat is quite fun (besides my complaints), and the world is obviously iconic and a pleasure to explore. So many Easter eggs, references, and nods to the show's history/lore. Every moment is enjoyable, and that's all you can ask from a licensed game

Popular Post Kal-El457
Wolfenstein : The New Order. Short and sweet game. I played it in 2016 and abandoned it, came back 4 years later. Solid fps, not too long. Hardest difficulty is challenging and requires effort and precision in some parts. You must be patient plus be willing to collect everything to save a playthrough.

Popular Post Jelly Soup
#127 - LEGO Worlds Ughhhhhh. I had such high hopes for this game. It's not really terrible, just not very well put together. Everything is spread out in a hard to navigate way, everything is a grind and it largely doesn't encourage building things as much as you'd think. Now, it certainly gives you plenty of options to build with, not very, very few goals that require using any of it. Liked the OST, though, and the animations of your little ship hoping from world plate to world plate is really cute. Don't recommend, even for LEGO game fans.

Popular Post SHAZAM_SAVAGE
#15 - CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2 CAMPAIGN REMASTERED "Is That All You Got?" What else more can I say besides "how can you not love a free game"? MW2 was arguably better than the original Modern Warfare. There was nothing like popping this bad boy in back in the High School days and getting nukes with your friends. I'm very happy they remastered the game for all of us to enjoy one of the better FPS campaigns to ever come out. Some of the trophies almost had me pulling my hair out. In particular getting under 19.70 in The Pit, took me a few hours. Then some of the levels on Veteran were no joke. Takedown (the favela mission), The Enemy Of My Enemy Is My Friend, and Endgame really tested my patience. Other than that, the trophies weren't too overly difficult. I was able to get pretty much all of them on my Veteran play through (I did Veteran first). I almost had a scare with the Immortal trophy that has been notoriously glitchy, but I replayed SSDD and bam it popped up. Once again I just loved the nostalgia of playing this game again. Very grateful to have been able to access it for free at the PS Store. I recommend everybody give it a try!

Popular Post NurseTatiana
Platinum #185 Shadow warrior 2 I’m a Collector Myself Ultra rare 4.48% Difficulty 4/10 Time estimated 50-60h So now I will share a bit of my experience after playing this game! It was really fun and the enemies had an unique design I have all the way to the platinum played and did everything solo because couldn’t find a partner to join me. Everything was okay after I finished the campaign is when things started to get real and the infamous GRIND of this game almost made me leave it. It was not fun at all took me 20h alone to get all the money required of playing lot of levels over and over again and after the worst of them was getting 10000 orbs. So the most effective way was to play one of the trials on No Pain No gain difficulty to get 27 orbs each minute but it didn’t worked out for me! I got killed so many times and failed it so I go back to upgrade my gears and finally made it through....it was a pain still but happy to unlock the shiny platinum after all! Popular Post DefinitiveTJ
I’m so happy about this one: Platinum 54: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Easiliy one of my favorite games and after all these years I have the platinum. I can still remember clearly, standing in the store and eying the box of Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistance knowing that this had to be special but not knowing how much. Then at home, discovering the weird wonderful world of Metal Gear for the first time. I got lost a lot in it as a kid (and still do now) but I stuck with it and beating this game then was a very special and unique experience. When the HD versions game out years ago I played them on a different account but the plat always seemed too far but now in 2020 it was time. I wanted to complete the game in 1 playthrough but I missed one bird and one kerotan plus some miscelanious trophies so a second playthrough was needed. All in all, 16 hours of joy. The game has aged incredibly well, sure the combat is stiff and the controls are lacking but the overall experience still holds up. The bosses are as amazing as ever, the story is convoluted and wonderful as everthing that Kojima makes plus the overal art directions is just terrific. Sure, the no kill run and the motorcycle kerotan hunt made my heart race in a bad way but it was worth it in the end. Popular Post Carol
#198 Hidden Through Time Hidden Expert! Found all Hidden Through time trophies #199 Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 Guns gore and Cannoli 2 Earn all Guns Gore and Cannoli 2 trophies Sometimes, I really enjoy playing shorter games with easy platinums, so I bought these two games in the current Hidden Gems sale. "Hidden Through Time" is an adorable hidden-objects game, with very cute hand drawn levels. It has a very calming and relaxing gameplay, but it never gets boring. I loved this game even more than I was expecting and I even enjoyed playing the levels made by players, as there are some pretty good ones! "Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2" is another very fun game, that revives the action platform run and gun genre. It's a fast-paced action game, with very fun boss battles! Both of these platinums were easy and enjoyable. Now, it's time to work on a epic milestone!

Popular Post AustinMichael1
Ultimate Fall Guy Platinum #180: Fall Guys- Ultimate Knockout Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 8.5/10 (though highly skill dependent) What a game. For a game that was free for PS+ members for the month of August, this game legit took the world by storm lol. A fun, colorful game with a quirkly little “battle royale” theme. Most of the trophies were pretty simple but winning games is VERY luck dependent. There are races/survival rounds where you need to qualify to advance to the next round. There are team games which can seriously screw you over. Get put on a bad team and you’ll be eliminated with them. The one trophy which made this incredibly difficult was “Infallible” which you need to win 5 Crowns (episodes) in a row. Very stressful to do after losing multiple 4 games streaks. But all in all, happy to have this done and look forward to what season 2 beings (if they bring more achievements) Edited September 3, 2020 by AustinMichael1 Forgot to add platinum trophy images
