Popular Post juakofoo94
#71 Is That All You Got? Earn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Campaign Remastered. I enjoyed playing this because I never did it back in the day, I remember playing COD MW in my old PC (it's good to know they continued Soap's story). Anyway it's an easy plat, the only trophy I had to struggle with was beating BX's time in The Pit, but I don't think it was harder than the training course from MW and certainly it wasn't more difficult than Titanfall 2 lol.

Popular Post Godo Fwar
#353 - The Messenger I am the Messenger Obtain all other trophies. I highly recommend this if you like side-scrolling platformers. Even though it's a retro-styled one, it still feels fresh and modern. The thing that impressed me most is the music. Really cool how it transitions from 8 bit to 16 bit (and vice-versa) depending on the timeline.
Popular Post The Alchemist
450 - The Last of Us Part II It's no secret that I absolutely love TLoU. It ranks as my tied favourite game ever. I loved every little thing about it and IMO, it's a flawless game, a masterpiece. So... I was more than a little worried that a sequel could mess up such a perfect game. Truthfully, I didn't even think it needed a sequel and would have been happy to see it stay as a single entry, but that was never going to be the case due to the critical and commercial success of the game. I could only hope that ND would knock it out of the park, and I never had a reason to doubt that they could. Everything in the build up was looking good, all the little details that were coming out about the game had me excited. Then we had the fiasco about the leaks and the intense hate and backlash that followed. I avoided it all, it wasn't a conversation I wanted to take part in. I don't do leaks anyway. I simply wanted to play a game I was waiting 7 years to play, and pass my judgement afterwards. I still don't want to have that conversation. I have my opinion on the game, other people have their opinion which i'll respect so i'll leave it at that. There's nothing more I can say that hasn't been said by someone already and I'm not going to change your mind one way or the other. As for the game itself, I can happily say that ND nailed it. They managed to make a sequel to something I hold so dear and it's worthy. Not just worthy, but in many ways it surpasses the first. Now, that doesn't mean I think this is better than the first game. I think there are things the first game does better than this and vice versa. I think the music is better in the first game, and I think I would give the edge to the story in the first game too, though I believe the story in Part II to be more complex and layered and more emotional too. I think the combat, shooting, and general gameplay elements are all vastly better in Part II. I don't think i'll ever be able to separate the 2 games and pick a winner, not that it matters. They're both absolutely fantastic games. I honestly loved this game so much. I had a deep appreciation for everything ND tried to do with it and I think they got it spot on and nailed it. I could go on forever about my thoughts on the game but I won't. I left more detailed thoughts on another site I frequent so if you're that bothered you can do a search Long story short, this is a 10/10 and I loved every second of it. My complaints are minimal and are more nitpicks than anything. This isn't my 'Game of the Generation', that title still belongs to RDR2, but this is a very close second. I guess my final thoughts are that I would like to see a third game to wrap things up, which is funny considering how apprehensive I was about a sequel in the first place I also hope we get some news about the MP, that would be great.
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#146 Shadow Warrior 2 Lo Wang, the dick-joke cracking mercenary from the first game is back at it again in another installment. Whereas in the first game he made a pact with a demon which enabled him to possess cool powers, this time he partnered up with another ally, the daughter of a yakuza leader. The dynamic between the two was pretty much the likes of siblings fighting all the time except Lo Wang has no filters with his crude humour. Even the fortune cookies were in on it Spoiler Having improved upon the gameplay of the first, SW2 also changes up the formula and it plays similar to borderlands now, having freeroam and a loot system with regards to upgrades and elemental buffs. However the weapons are predefined and aren't random. There's also co-op now which I imagine would be fun with a buddy. The only drawback though with this system is that I was checking my inventory every 5 seconds filtering out the gems I dont need which breaks the pacing of the game. You'll have to sort through a bajillion upgrades because the drops are ludicrously high. Trophy-wise, it's significantly easier than SW1 but it's a lot more grindy. Getting 10M Zillyen or money, wasn't a big deal. It was the 10k orbs that was a pain in the ass. I finished all the trophies at about 36-37 hrs playtime and by the time I was done with the orbs, I was at 44 hrs after doing the same thing over and over. Not cool whatsoever.. Finding the secrets was also a bit of pain as the freeroam sections are randomly generated (not to be confused with procedurally generated) in that the devs created discrete units/assets such as a specific building, cave, fountain, statue, etc, and each section in the map can rotate between the aforementioned assets. What happens is that the secrets may or may not spawn as a result and you have to reload the map hoping for it to spawn. On top, it also gets a bit confusing when the map keeps changing everytime you reload so you’re always on the lookout for important landmarks around you making sure you’re going in the right place. Nonetheless, trophies aside, I highly recommend this game especially if you're into FPS's. I personally can't wait for SW3! With that, I leave you with this badass main menu track. Enjoy and onto the next! Spoiler Edited September 5, 2020 by PooPooBlast
Popular Post iFraaN97
# 276 - Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockdown Enjoyment : 10 / 10Difficulty: 8 / 10 I had so much fun playing this, definitely looking forward to the next season I managed to get the infamous Infallible trophy winning 5 Hexagon finals pretty much back to back. Even with the exploit it's still a pretty challenging trophy, at this point there's always gonna be some really tryhard players in every final and there are so many factors that can totally screw up your streak, like I lost a 4 winning streak to a server error after trying to leave a game and there was other time when my game just crashed while I was playing the final and when I got back my kudos went up ruining my wins again -.-

On April 22nd 2011, my younger brother put Brotherhood on my profile without asking, which was the start of a nearly nine year long headache for me; the prospects of having to clean up after that little brat by trawling through another Assassin's Creed (he had previously pulled a stunt like this with AssCreed II) was already painful enough were it not for the fact that on May 21st 2012 he added more work onto the pile by sticking Revelations on my profile as well. I became increasingly convinced that he was doing this out of pure malice. Because for better or worse, he didn't seem to have done it for the love of the series; he quit out of the credits after about a minute and never returned; I can tell because that's where his save left off when I booted it up this month. Besides a unmissable Assassin Recruit Trophy and the Bronze for killing 50 guards with the hidden blade, he had gotten nothing but the story-related main sequence Trophies - leaving me to clean up 39 base game Trophies and 20 DLC Trophies - with 20 out of those 59 being Multiplayer-related. I managed to breeze through the admittedly kind multiplayer (compared to Brotherhood anyway) in August, thanks in no small part to an excellent boosting squad, and booted up the singleplayer (and sat through 12+ minutes of unskippable credits) on September 1st. I was already loathing what was in store for me after having suffered through the awful Lost Archive DLC (seriously, if you haven't played it, look it up; it's the worst rip-off of Portal ever), but I ended up pleasantly surprised with how quickly I breezed through the random Trophies my brother had left for me. Really, the only issue was Fond Memories for 100% sync of the main story. I have to say Revelations is a lot better than Brotherhood; for the first time in series' history Ubisoft managed to include a substantial improvement into the gameplay loop in the form of the hookblade, as well as very lame additions like bomb crafting which was swiftly dropped when III rolled around. The Constantinople map is really decent compared to the awful Rome map of Brotherhood, which was really just repurposed from the sawdust of II's development - and it showed. In terms of story, I didn't catch much of it as I only replayed those memories needed to get my 100% (quite a few but none of them especially vital to the plot from what I could tell), but then I could not care less about Ubisoft's stupid wheel-spinning about two death cults anyway. Now onto Black Flag, which is the third and final AssCreed for me to clean up this year (albeit the fourth overall); I 99% sure I will never ever play another game in this series because, my God, these titles are incredibly insipid to me. I personally have never played Portal but I hate anything first person so I make a point of not playing any games that are in FP, I only played SOMA recently and didn't know it was FP. But I generally avoid them as they make me disorientated. I personally don't like the DLC either in this game, I also hate no death trophies, and those are two I have trouble with. I can tell you that after Syndicate, 100% sync was dropped from series and the player is no longer bound by the "optional " constraints, also the parkour is a lot smoother in both Origins and Odyssey and the DLC's of both a very good. AC2 will always have some nostalgia for me, the series isn't for everyone though.

Hence why so many big titles like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Crysis 2 and other games had rather absurd multiplayer requirements. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood basically jumped on that, and that has the most difficult multiplayer out of all the games in the series. The newer stuff, particularly Origins and Odyssey, is far easier than the old stuff.

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#325 - Hitman: Contracts Perfect Assassin Unlock all trophies I really love the tone of this game, with the cutscenes giving me some serious horror vibes. Not something I was expecting from a Hitman game, but it was really cool. There were some nice improvements to the gameplay in this one like how you're able to run around much more often now. Doing that in the previous game would almost always lead to your cover getting blown, even in disguise. I think the levels were more consistently great in this one too, although there are less of them. You have to get Silent Assassin rating on every level to get the platinum which was really enjoyable. Like the previous game though, collecting all of the weapons can get tedious and annoying. The trophy for getting exactly 47 kills in a mission makes a return and it's just as much of a pain in the ass. Very easy to lose count. Still, overall I had a great time playing this game and I'm very much looking forward to Blood Money. #326 - Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour Hail to the King! Completed all trophies for the game! Got this on sale a while back for next to nothing. It doesn't take very long to get the trophies, so I was done with it pretty quickly, but it was a fun retro FPS while it lasted. Makes me want to play the original DOOM.

Just look at this blue beauty. 50% I can live with it if it looks THIS good. The game itself is fine as well, if you are into puzzles.I love the art style and sense of class went into every inch of this game. Sure, it feels like certain puzzle pieces only reveal themselves when the game wants to, and some of the fits are so tiny it's hard to make out, but hey, it functions as it should.
