Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
A couple of short and fun platinum trophies! Nos. 185, 186 & 187! Cat Quest II Pawlatinum I really liked the first game, but this one is even better! And it looks like there should be a Cat Quest III! And this game is not only for cat lovers, but also dog lovers! Platinum screenshot at the end of the game! Gris Personal growth I read a lot of positive reviews about this game, and they were all right. This is a masterpiece, since everything is wonderful: artwork, music, and the plot which is quite opened. Too bad it was so short, but it was a really beautiful. Please, give a chance to this game (especially now, since it's on sale on the PS Store, "Hidden gems" or something like that). And I add a couple of tracks from the ost, which have a completely different style: the eel chase (Unagi) and the firmament level. Enjoy!? LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Unite (PS Vita) Complete Hero And with this game I've finally a double version (with timestamps) of the very first games I've played on PS3 without profile (and without timestamps!). And I've also completed all the 13 LEGO games on PS Vita! And a messed up platinum screenshot, with multilple windows. I don't know why, but it always happened on LEGO games screenshots. Again, sorry for the long post, but the spoiler tags refuse to work... Edited September 6, 2020 by Phoenix_argentea
Popular Post snakebit10
: #315 Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom First off I never got into the cartoon. I was already an adult when it first come out. I only had caught glimpses of it here and there. I decided to give the game a go anyways as it did look fun to me. It wasn't difficult to pick up on the characters and areas. Gameplay wise it reminded a bit of some other games with the platforming. It felt like a mix of Sly Cooper and God of War (early games) with some f the traps and stuff. Yeah, I found it to be quite enjoyable until having to clean up the socks and few spatulas. If your a Spongebob fan or a fan of platformers than give it a go. Nothing to difficult. Just a couple parts really. The rolling ball puzzle took quite a few tries, the sliding race down the vine and beating Larry's time on his course. I had to look up a strategy for that one. I was 30 seconds or so behind the time required. Turns out there are short cuts to shave the time down and once I learned them I beat it with 16 seconds left on the clock. Enjoyment 7/10 Difficulty 3/10 Next up Beyond Two Souls (PS4)
Popular Post Ala-Arska
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (PS4) Have you ever tried Shawarma? Collect every trophy C'mon, bub. Let's dance like it's 1974 again. I have been a fan of Marvel comics for well over 30 years now. They're awesome. This game...is not. First of, character roster is pretty fine. They've got the basic Peters, Steves and million Tonys (why?), and a few odds (hello, Kurse!). Levels are fun to play. They match you with different heroes, against some solid, and sandy, villains. So far, so good But, then starts the Collectables Grind...most of it is doing various quests for various folk. Mind. Numbingly. Boring. To put aggravation to sleepiness, quest marker (Deadpool) often is not in the right place, stuff freeze, escorts disappear...just suckiness. Then there's the races. My God do they f**king suck flaming elephant c**ks while ramming you up the ass with a purple dildo. Land races are "only" awful. Pedestrians and cars all jump in front of you like it's Vice City. No Wanted level for superheroes, though Air races (and flying) are beyond appalling. You have little or no control when taking off or landing. Or maintaining speed or course. Especially Iron Man. I'm pretty sure this version of Tony Stark has fell off the wagon, hard. No sober person moves this erratically LMSH is a game I really wanted to like, but bad controls and unforgivable glitches made it close to impossible. Then again, if you're going to collect 100%'s in LEGO games, this is something you just have to muster. 'Nuff Said

Popular Post StraightVege
DUNWALL DAYS AND KARNACA NIGHTS #234 Compared to the original, it took a bit longer for this game to grab my attention. It opens with a pretty flat setup scene, featuring stilted writing, mixed voice acting, and some rough animations. After being dishonored for the second time, I was thrown into a fairly dull tutorial level, and the awful default control settings became immediately apparent. I had to fiddle with the look sensitivity and whatnot for ten minutes to get anything playable—not a great start. However, once I got into the real missions proper and regained the supernatural abilities, that delicious blend of Thief, BioShock, and Hitman I remembered quickly re-emerged, and I was hooked again. Two levels in particular are more impressive than anything in the first game: Clockwork Mansion and Stilton's Manor. The mansion is one giant puzzle, with rooms that elegantly shift into different forms and spring traps on the player as they explore. In true non-linear design fashion, one can also refuse to participate in the maze altogether, by sneaking through spaces between the walls, thus catching the target completely unawares. Good stuff! On the other hand, the manor introduces one of the best time travel mechanics I've ever seen—it seriously deserves to be a full-fledged power, instead of a one-off. With the press of a button, you can instantly jump between the past and present, with actions taken in the former having immediate effects in the modern day. Sabotage a statue or balcony in the old days to open new paths in the future, or remove an insurmountable blockage by traveling back to when it was merely an unlocked door. Since time constantly passes in both worlds, you can peer into the past and observe guards, maneuvering yourself into an advantageous position, before shifting into their time and striking. They really experimented and took chances with these missions, and it paid off. There's just so much to discover in the game world; so many little stories, secrets, and side quests, which are usually presented in an organic way, without obnoxious waypoints and messages shoved in the player's face. For instance, I once read the diary of a woman who killed her husband and hid his body in a crate, but was disturbed by the constant scratching sounds emanating from the container. Searching her apartment, I found the crate had burst open, with a bloodfly nest erupting from the husband's corpse, and her stung to death on the floor. Or, there was the time I donated a few coins to a beggar, and he tipped me off about some suspicious people he witnessed carrying explosives into a nearby basement. Finding my way down there, I discovered two thieves arguing (they required one more explosive canister to bring the wall down). I was able to take them out, retrieve another canister from a different part of the map, and blow open the wall myself, allowing me to rob the shop next door. Piecing these events together yourself by exploring is great. Nothing revolutionary, but the sort of excellent old-school game design which I'd like to see more of. The options for dealing with your targets are similarly expansive, and when combined with the variety of useful unlockable powers, the game is highly replayable. Even on my third run, I was still finding new stuff, and alternate ways to get the job done. The areas are designed in such a manner that they're beatable without using any magic whatsoever, too, so you have to appreciate how much thought and work must've went into the city's creation. There's always an alternative method if something isn't working out. Like Dishonored 1, this sequel certainly has its rough edges, but it's hard to care much when the world design exhibits such superb craftsmanship. I'll be moving on to "Death of the Outsider" next, and I really hope it isn't as disappointing as I've heard diehard fans say. Popular Post MissShake
#52: Star Wars Episode I: Racer Now THIS is podracing Earn all trophies. Oops, got this a week ago and never posted about it... I've been in a bit of a Star Wars mood since I started playing Knights of the Old Republic for the first time (loving it so far), and I remembered this game from my childhood. I never got to try it myself, but I definitely remember watching the son of my dad's girlfriend pick Sebulba quite a few times. Playing it this time was kinda interesting, I wouldn't say I'm any good at the game but the plat does seem pretty achievable if you decide to go the legit, no cheats way and you know what you're doing. Turns out I don't, so I used the cheat codes lol. That doesn't mean I didn't play any of it without them, I did and I had a lot of fun even if I'm terrible at it

Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #66 - Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 Difficulty Rating 5/10 (Veteran) Enjoyment Rating 8/10 Uncommon - 32.96% Sad to say, the Castlevania brand hasn’t been doing too hot lately. Luckily for us, IGA ditched Konami and went on to start his own spritual successor. Bloodstained is Castlevania just without the name. Curse of the Moon 2 follows a familar formula just like its predessor which is compared only to Castlevania III. They’re both 8-bit style action games with multiple playable characters each with their own unique abilities. The first Curse of the Moon did not have a platinum, so it was a nice surprise to see its sequel get one. Must be why the overall completion percentage is higher for this game This is certainly not an easy game. It can be, but only if you’re willing to make it so. There are two styles of play. Casual and Veteran. By default, Veteran is the original difficulty that the developers would expect you to play for it recreates that NES inspired challenge found in older Castlevania games. Most people seem to flock to Casual though, turning the game into a cakewalk. On Casual, damage is halved, unlimited lives, no knockback, countless health pick ups and double sub-weapon points. Yes, just about anyone can beat it like that.. but it takes a true Castlevania nut to stick to Veteran merely for the sake of bragging rights ? It doesn’t matter which style you choose to play, for the platinum is achievable either way. Just beat all the episodes, sometimes under certain conditions. Pretty simple for the most part. For an 8-bit style game, the music and presentation are on an epic scale that I would say puts some modern games to shame. I find myself listening to music quite often to this very day. You’ll also find the bosses are quite massive and extremely frustrating ? This game is a lot harder than the first Curse of the Moon. That is if you’re sticking to Veteran of course. Overcoming this game’s challenges the way they were intended to be provides the ultimate dopamine rush. Not all will flock to this game at a price point of $15, but maybe the inclusion of a platinum trophy will change that If you’re itching for some Castlevania, IGA has you covered with the Bloodstained franchise.

Popular Post Spinosaurus Rex
PLATINUM #157 - CUPHEAD Difficulty: 7/10 | Platinum enjoyment: 6/10 | Game enjoyment: 9/10 | Plat tier: RARE Cuphead became one of my favorite indie titles back years ago on Steam. Unexpectedly arriving on PS4, I decided to pick it up for full price almost immediately after releasing, as it's worth the price. Being recognized for its difficulty and INCREDIBLE art style imitating old Fleischer animations (just type "Cuphead screenshots" in Google Images or "Cuphead gameplay" on YT and you'll see), Cuphead was first thought to be just a boring title with no other value than its art style, but fortunately it provides maybe not too original gameplay (consisting in 90% of fights with bosses), but good enough to be attached to the game right until the end. Platinum is pretty common for such difficult game, and many claims that Expert difficulty is the biggest wall before the platinum, but I had much more problems with "Pacifist" runs, where you need to beat six stages without killing anyone and pray to not be killed by RNG and to not take damage in the worst possible time - my biggest complaint about the game and trophy list in general. The biggest challenge in this game probably is beating the game on Regular for the first time, as bosses can be pretty hard and you only can commit two mistakes (up to four with certain power-up). Excellent title, well worth spending money on. Also a good example that graphic IS important and improves the quality of the game - imagine the title with exact same gameplay, but retro graphics typical for indie games. It certainly would be less fun to play. PLATINUM #158 - BOUNCY BULLETS Difficulty: 2/10 | Platinum enjoyment: 3/10 | Game enjoyment: 6/10 | Plat tier: COMMON Small filler between two big titles included for sake of trophy count continuity. Being published by Ratalaika Games, you know what kind of platinum to expect (requiring only minimal skill). Pretty bizzare shooter, but not a bad game though, reminding me a bit of Portal games I had a lot of fun on Steam years ago. Would obviously have more fun from platinuming if the game provided bigger challenge. PLATINUM #159 - THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT Difficulty: 5/10 | Platinum enjoyment: 7/10 | Game enjoyment: 10/10 | Plat tier: VERY RARE This is it - one of the best, bigger, more recognized RPGs which is well known for excellent sidequests and engaging storyline, which I can not say anything wrong about and just agree whole-heartedly, so I just say a bit about bad things about this game. The main reason why this game isn't a perfect 10/10 game for me are technical reasons - ABSURDLY long loading times after death (which make Death March an absolute nightmare in certain sections), ridiculous falling damage, pretty clunky movement of Geralt and Roach, non-balanced EXP gain (you are very low on EXP in beginning, and after half of the game it skyrockets and you gain big amounts of EXP by just talking to someone in main storyline) and a few more things I cannot turn a blind eye on. This game is still EXCELLENT and probably the best I've played yet on PS4 (excuse me, The Last Of Us, you've almost won). I struggled a lot with the platinum and abandoned the game year ago because I didn't feel the Gwent thing, and the grind trophies are pretty stupid considering how low these amounts are (what's are 50 headshots in comparison to, for example, few thousands kills in any online game?). While I finally felt confident enough to tackle Gwent card hunt (which turned out to be very fun, much more than highest difficulty playthrough), grind trophies were a fly in the ointment in otherwise very good trophy list. I'm proud it was the company from country where I live that created this masterpiece (even Andrzej Sapkowski, creator of original novel, was astounded how this game has become popular in the world and demanded larger proportion of the profits from CD Projekt). Now it's time to buy GOTY edition and do the platinum again... After some break and getting these grind trophies out of my mind. Popular Post DarkSamurai69
#311 Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Exploring the world of Witcher is something that I'm always up for. You play Gwent when it comes to combat but some of the rules and cards are different from the Witcher 3 and this is the way of progressing the story. Nothing too hard, just have to pay attention to missable trophies. #312 Rage 2 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Just another standard fps with some powers to go along with it. The story was mediocre but the combat wasn't too bad but it did get repetitive. I just always went to my go-to weapons (Assault Rifle, Shotgun, and Rocket Launcher) and never really used the arsenal at my disposal. Having the New Game + trophy and Ultra Nightmare difficulty trophy required two more playthroughs but fortunately the story missions are really short.

Popular Post Katt
God Eater 3 It All Comes Together Collect all trophies. Huh... It felt really quick. It must be because I'm a veteran player already, playing since the old PSP release. I haven't finished everything but I've got the platinum already. It's a shame that the new content doesn't have DLC trophies to encourage people to keep playing. But it must be done, especially when you expect a fourth game. Though this new game felt new with the new engine, the truth is: there is less content than GE2:RB and that is an abysmal downside. On the other hand: pretty good story. Finally something to feel good about. If you played the first game, you know what I'm talking about.

SoapMacTavish222
#367 Battlefield 4 for the PS4. I started this game whenever it very first came out but just now finally got around to finishing it. The campaign isn't very difficult even on the hardest difficulty. There's some collectibles but nothing too crazy. The part that takes the longest is going to be the multiplayer unless you boost it. If you are planning on going for 100% completion with all the DLCs, you should know ahead of time that three of the DLCs have trophies requiring you to complete all of the assignments which none of them are very difficult if you're boosting but there is one assignment on each of those three DLCs that requires you to play for 10 hours worth of that DLCs maps/modes. So while you may be able to burn through the base game quickly, you're gonna need to put in a minimum of 30 extra hours for those three DLCs.
Popular Post IzTriicky__
Platinum #212 Minecraft Dungeons This game is pretty much a diablo clone but just with a Minecraft Skin on top of it but it was still very fun! Sure it isn't as deep in content as Diablo but I enjoyed the game quite a bit and didn't take long to get the platinum! But now this game just makes me want to go back and play Diablo 3 since I kinda am motivated to go and try to get the platinum in that too.
