Popular Post sephiroth4424
#217 Borderlands (ps4) Borderland Defender Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I transferred my ps3 character so i popped most of the grindy trophies. Still i had to the boring Moxxi dlc but hopefully i didn't encounter any crashes #218 Marvel's Spider-Man Be Greater Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I had a lot of fun with Spider-Man. Memorable boss fights, best travelling system in an open-world game. But i can't rate it above Arkham City. Spider-Man has the problem that most superhero games have, he is too strong. In Batman you have combat challenges and predator (stealth) challenges. In Spider-Man it's just combat, sneaking is like cheating. Of course this isn't the game's problem. #219 Tales of Xillia Lord of Xillia Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I've played every Tales game on ps3-ps4-vita except Innocence and Xillia 2. IMO Xillia 1 is probably the weakest so far. Very plain and simple, story isn't as good either. It has an antagonist that could easily be the protagonist and that says it all. I don't understand how it got a sequel but i will play it and judge later #220 South Park: The Stick of Truth (ps3) Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I've replayed this for an event last week. After doing it on ps4, i managed to complete it in a single day. Still i enjoyed it and hope we will get a third game on ps4 or ps5

Popular Post Kiyan-13
#54 - Prince of Persia Master Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Time to Plutinum (100%): 20 Hours Rarity(Platinum - 100%): 11.06% - 3.21% An average game... Didn't really like the game, it definitely is the weakest entry of PoP franchise(at least out of the 4 that I have played). Starting from the core element of the franchise, which is platforming, I have to say that it is kinda disappointing. I mean, platforming on PoP was always "bending" the rules of physics but this one is on another level. Graphics look kinda cartoon-ish in a bad way, quite unfitting in my opinion. Story is the generic plot of saving the innocent princess and the world from the bad guy, completely predictable and uninteresting. The only good part was gameplay, combat is polished and satisfying considering its age. The DLC made it worse as an experience, in my opinion. Game became a bit tougher to complete and kinda frustrating because platforming parts were longer and trophies more demanding. DLC's story didn't make much sense and it really felt like they were planning to release more DLC's but they didn't get the approval to do so. Can't really recommend this game. Unless you just want to play all PoP games there is no reason to play this one. Edited October 6, 2020 by Kiyan-13

Popular Post Phantochi
#212 - Resident Evil 3 Remake Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is my favorite Resident Evil game of the entire franchise, with that in mind, i gotta say, the Remake is surprisingly good, though it has some pretty jarring flaws and unexpected changes. Combat is a huge improvement from REmake 2, now that Jill and Carlos can do specific timed dodges, everything flows better and changes the ''going in circles'' strategy to defeat zombies and bosses, Jill's personality is way more compelling in this reimagination, sounding and looking more human than ever, as she should be because this is Jill after Spencer mansion, something that the original lacks imo The removal of some fan-favorite areas can be a turn-off for some, which I understand. There were areas that I was really looking forward to seeing, and for some god-forsaken reason, were there but not as i expected (I'm looking at you clock tower), and though the city looks gorgeous and it's great to see some of these places revamped, exploring feels somewhat limited and backtracking is on the safer side. Puzzles are close to non-existent in the remake. Period. I would't call anything they have here a puzzle, especially when comparing to the hard ass puzzles the original one had. And the game feels rushed, not in terms of being broken, buggy or anything like that, but the story and the way it progresses feels way too fast. You already start the game being asked to fix the train... But the biggest fail in this game for me is the Nemesis. The iconic, unstoppable, stars-hating force of nature, who with his constant overwhelming lurking presence made you shit your pants as a kid, now is just a shadow of its former self. Nemesis feels constrained here, never having his moment to really annoy you. 99% of the time he appears in game is on a scripted ''OH NO, I GOTTA GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE'' moment, where you run from point A to point B, and that really sucks, Mr. X is far more scary than him now, and that's not good In short, i would recommend it, just remember people are comparing it to some of the best titles in the franchise, it's not as good as the original, and it doesn't live up to expectations like Remake 2 did but that doesn't mean it's bad, not being better than the best doesn't make you the worst you know

Popular Post StraightVege
Overlord #238 The phrase "rough around the edges" applies to this game perhaps more than any in my recent memory. I can largely overlook the flaws, because its just plain fun to play most of the time, and really does evoke stepping into an alternate universe, where a PS2 sequel to Symphony of the Night actually exists. Charging through non-linear castle exploration, blasting away with spells, and discovering new abilities to open previously blocked paths, all as Michiru Yamane's sick beats drive you forward—this old formula still gets the blood pumping. Even so, for a project that raised over 5 million dollars on Kickstarter, the end product feels like it could have been created for a fraction of that, and is yet missing half of its planned features. It's evident that the developers spread themselves too thin, with the game suffering for it, since the experience was riddled with distracting polish issues. Environments look cheap/ugly in many areas, and the enemy design is all over the place—demonic knights juxtaposed with giant dog heads and scantily clad bunny women. It's cute in a goofy way, but artistically incongruent. The now ancient SotN's art style is still far more pleasing to the eye than this. Combat is pretty shallow and clunky by modern standards, since Miriam lacks in-built block or parry abilities (you have to equip specific shards or weapons to gain these options), and the game doesn't feel responsive enough. Melee weapons are mediocre overall; you're better off sticking to magic and guns. This is not to imply the game is challenging, because on the contrary, it's pathetically easy once you progress beyond the initial hours. Some shard attacks basically break the game, and enemy AI is sloth-like: they often stand around and let you wail on them. Many boss fights consist of little more than repeatedly jumping over them, and mashing attacks on their backs. I understand that this is mostly intentional design, because Igarashi didn't want it to feel like a fighting game, but perhaps it'd have been better if he had. A little-known indie roguelike by the name of Abyss Odyssey did combat better, although the AI there was disgustingly cheap. There were a number of technical issues as well. The game is unstable when buying or crafting items in town; I crashed to blue screen on four occasions, so frequent saving is necessary. The frame rate can be inconsistent, and sometimes room transitions take a while to load. Jumping up into a vertical room transition is super awkward, too, as I often just fell immediately back to the previous screen, since the game didn't continue registering my jump input. I dealt with intermittent input delay throughout, in fact. What makes RotN so interesting to play despite all of this is its robust shard system, which is essentially ripped straight from Aria of Sorrow. Defeating enemies allows you to steal their unique abilities by absorbing shards, and this provides an almost overwhelming multitude of different options for attack, defense, and utility. Whether you want to run at Sonic speed, summon possessed chairs, or incinerate everything before you in pillars of fire, you're truly spoiled for choice in Bloodstained. There's potentially tons of replay value to be found here, if you're the type to enjoy experimenting with various builds. Honestly, I think SotN and this game's own retro spin-off, Curse of the Moon, are more refined, superior games, but I did have a blast messing with the shards. Metroidvanias have come a long way since Igarashi helped to establish them in '97, and I'd like to see him go back to the drawing board if a sequel is planned, rather than trying to recapture the past. A fun romp for the $11 I paid, however; I intend to fool around a bit in NG+, and try out the alternate character. Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #69 - Blue Reflection Difficulty Rating 4/10 (Normal difficulty) Enjoyment Rating 6/10 Uncommon - 31.09% This game is a different breed all on its own. Just how many magical girl games exist, let alone RPGs? Hardly any, right? Surely they exist, but mostly borrow from an already well established IP. The only things can come to mind for me are some beat em up games from Sailor Moon or Pretty Cure.. but those would soon become pretty scarce when magical girl games would devolve into mini game collections. I know, we’re not exactly the target audience for this kind of stuff.. but it is a sub-genre that doesn’t always need to follow the usual tropes, see Madoka Magica as a great example. What makes Blue Reflection stand out on its own is that it’s a magical girl RPG that is completely original. Even if some of the characters and story writing are about as flat and trope-filled as you can get, it still manages to separate itself as its own thing. This marks the first game from GUST I have ever played. A pretty easy platinum if not a bit long winded. The story follows a large group of school girls, but you control the protagonist “Hinako Shirai” at all times. For a main character... she is so uninteresting. She suffers from a leg injury and can’t do ballet anymore. That’s all well and good, but it is her approach and outlook on everything else that makes her attitude and personality that of stale bread. She is not relatable in any sort of way, and I can’t imagine any female audience who would relate to her either. As the player, you don’t get to make any big changes or choices on your own. For example, when a fellow classmate asks to switch panties with you, JUST DO IT! As for the battle system, I liked it quite a bit.. but you won’t see too much of it. This is because you level up by socializing and not battling. Big mistake! The socializing tries to be like social links from Persona but falls flat in regard. Not every encounter with other girls is unique and a lot are cookie cutter repeats with slightly altered dialogue. After a while, I started skipping the lazy ones cause there is just way too many to go through in order to max out every relationship. It’s the developer’s fault for not making it interesting enough. Also, the typos... oh my God the typos. Soooo many typos. It’s not just a few here and there, they’re practically always constant. Didn’t anyone proof read this game?! Blue Reflection feels like it wants to be Persona so bad. But if Persona is a meat filled burrito with tons of cheese and hot sauce to go with it, that makes Blue Reflection an empty tortilla by comparison. Yes, it has an original concept on an already well known genre, but not enough to make it a memorable experience all on it’s own and it would practically be nothing without it. You’ll forget about the story, the characters and even the gameplay for it doesn’t stand above others much like it. You want the platinum, yes? As long as you follow the guide and run clean up when you hit Chapter 10, nothing will be missable to you. But be warned, only the most otaku of players will find this game’s themes interesting. I’m built to take on this kind of stuff with an open mind, and even I was falling asleep from time to time. I clocked in about 45 hours once the platinum popped. Some may put up with it, some may not, you’ve been warned ?
Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #50 Bioshock Remastered (PS4) Enjoy: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Another one of those jewels I missed from the previous video game generation, anyway, it is never to later to enjoy a good game. As many as you probably know by know, even though the gameplay is quite entertaining, the story is actually the most crutial point when it comes to enjoying any game of these series, and Bioshock 1 has proven to be a very good game because of that. It would be a must for whoever enjoys a first-person shooting with much more than just killing everyone around you. The whole story of the little sisters, rapture, Fontaine, ect. Even though the platinum itself seems intimidating, there is a glitch which will make the entire process way easier by being able to skip the survivor difficulty.
Popular Post ex10097
Platinum #150 ACCEL WORLD VS. SWORD ART ONLINE: MILLENNIUM TWILIGHT Millennium ConquerorObtained all trophies Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 (After all that tedious grinding for plat: 3/10) With this I have successfully platted all 4 Sword Art Online games on the Vita! Boy, I thought Hollow Fragment was the grindiest SAO game but this one has successfully proved me wrong. That damn reaching 500 skill level for an AW character was bad enough since they can't spam buff skills unlike SAO characters, making it a boring grind where you are repeating the same move hundreds of times, but then you got that stinking blacksmith trophy that requires you to upgrade a weapon 10 times. To upgrade a weapon to a higher rank you need to enhance it ten times, then you can transform it from rank 1 to 2, and keep repeating this damn process until you reach rank 10. From rank 4 onwards, enhancing starts costing a whopping amount so you'll need to farm the same mission hundreds of times to have enough cash. But it's even worse in ranks 7 and 8, cuz you need to farm RARE monster materials that cannot be bought. But in rank 9 you need those damn phoenix claws for most upgrades, and these are a SUPER RARE drop from a boss, so it took me like a dozen tries to get just one to drop, and I needed like 8 of them in total! Plus you need a retarded amount of super expensive ores as well. But the worst would be the hundred titles trophy. To get titles you have to do feats like hunt 300 monsters of a type, make characters reach level 1000 (which requires a s*** ton of grinding), play in one of the fields for 10 hours, etc. I got so fed up with grinding character to lv1000, that I just left my Vita idle to rack up 10 hours in each location and got the plat that way. Leaving the grind aside, I really enjoyed the crossover. Since Accel World takes place about 20 years into the future in the world of SAO, I really enjoyed the interactions between the AW and SAO characters. Especially fighting the pure kings of seven colors from AW was a blast. Out of the four SAO games, Lost Song is the easiest and most enjoyable to play, followed by Hollow Realization which was grindy but doable and I loved it so much, especially the new characters Premier and Tia, who are fantastic waifus!!! I got the plat before I even started the DLC, but continued onto finishing the DLCs and postgame content, which easily added more than 30 hours of gameplay to it. Platinum #151 HOTLINE MIAMI 2: WRONG NUMBER TROPHY ADDICTUnlock all Trophies Difficulty: 8.5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 In case you aren't familiar with Hotline Miami, this is a game where you play in a top-down style and need to kill all the enemies in a room, before doing the same in the other rooms to finally clear the stage. Enemies die in one hit but the same applies to you as well. Meaning this is a game where you die, die, die, die, die, A LOT! I really like how bloody the game is despite employing retro graphics. You can see crushed skulls with gray matter leaking out, arms hacked off, torso split in two, stomach blown open with intestines scattered about and a TON of blood. Compared to 1 though you play as multiple different characters across different timelines, making the story super confusing until you look at one of those story explained on Steam, but this isn't a game where you are playing for the story anyway. The essence of the game is basically: "Do you enjoy hurting other people?" Unlike 1 where you have a myriad of different abilities available, you only get to use select abilities in a few of the levels only, so no easy way to cheese this game. 2 is so much harder than 1, that just halfway through I already got the thousand deaths trophy. Then there's stinking hard mode. All the levels completely flipped around, so they feel unfamiliar plus enemies react super fast, much faster than the player can react and input commands. No more lock-on targeting, and to add insult to injury, guns have half the ammunition, so you'll have to become an expert at manual aiming but the accuracy of most guns really suck. A lot more special enemies like dogs that more often kill you than not, katana guys that are immune to gunfire and fat b***** who I really hate the most above all other enemies cuz they can only be killed by gunfire, plus take a few seconds to die, giving them ample time to kill you before they cough up blood and keel over, unless you use a shotgun. Seriously are their stomachs made out of titanium or something for blades and axes to have no effect on them? But the worst part of hard mode would be the windows. There are windows pretty much everywhere, so not many hiding places and I can't even count the number of times I've been killed by shots coming offscreen through those damn windows. Casualties is definitely the most challenging mission on hard mode for me, cuz when you are about to enter the damn facility there are windows on both sides full of gunmen plus a fatso with a gun, then the ammunition for reloading is in a difficult to reach place full of enemies plus more windows to watch out for. As the soldier you can't pick up guns but need to resupply your chosen armament at set points. I thought hard mode would be my toughest challenge but getting A+ on all levels proved to be far tougher than I could have imagined. Especially 11, 12 and 24. Dead Ahead wasn't too bad but Death Wish took me three tries to get A+. You play as four different guys but I can only get a full combo run with the first guy. It's really difficult with the other characters cuz it feels like the level is designed against their abilities. The last mission too took many retries cuz it's the last mission I guess. The writer's levels were really easy once you knew the trick of disarming guns, allowing you to easily obtain a high combo count. I never even knew about the writer's rage mode mechanic which was needed to kill a special chainsaw guy in hardmode that just wouldn't die no matter what I did. It was chore and a half but I'm finally done with this game. I thought getting 50k kills would require an additional 5+ hours of grinding but who could have imagined that the moment I started my grind, the first enemy I killed caused the trophy and plat to pop! Just like that☝️. I'll go back to playing Deception 4 Blood Ties after this and see how far I can get this time. It doesn't have a plat rarity of 1.21% for nothing. My current goal during COVID is to reach 175 plats on the Vita alone. Problem is most of my remaining backlog is full of long games that will take quite a while to plat, but I want to completely milk the worth out of my Vita before I buy a PS5.

Popular Post SirWaWa
Final Fantasy XV (including all DLC for 100%) One of the longest games I've played in a while. Took me 90 hours to to acquire the platinum including the two main story DLC packs. The comrades DLC took me 50 hours offline solo. The four episodes took 2-4 hours each. So in total under 150 hours to complete everything. Too many technical issues such as the frame rate and long loading times that can't be ignored. Story pacing is too slow at the start and then not much substance towards the end. After playing through all the content I did really like all the Final Fantasy references to other games and seeing monsters formerly seen in 2D sprites to be completely fleshed out in realistic 3D brought a smile. XV's iteration of Ifrit and Bahamut is my least favorite, while Leviathan and Shiva is probably my favorite among all Final Fantasy's. Outstanding design for Leviathan and Shiva while Ifrit is acceptable but Bahamut, what did they do to you? With that said it didn't feel like Final Fantasy to me. This one was very different and is a solid title but it felt very above average overall with some superb technical achievements plagued by too ambitious ambitions accomplished on capable but far from superior hardware. The most frustrating trophy for me was the Dogged Rider as part of the DLC. Times are achievable but so many things go can wrong versus what can go right and constantly having to reload to restart was infuriating. I'm relieved to finally get this off my backlog as the number of trophies was intimidating. While not the largest amount for a single game it's nearly twice that of an average game. I'd recommend this more to players of previous Final Fantasy games rather than first timers because there are so many references a lot it of wouldn't be understood, not that it is required.

Popular Post IesuHado
Platinum N° 153: Asassin´s Creed: Origins Earn Them All! Earn every trophy. STATS (PERSONAL OPINION): - Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 - Enjoyment: 9/10 (General) - 8/10 (Going for platinum) - Would I recommend it: BIG YES! I´m a big fan or let´s be honest a fan boy of the saga so keep that in mind while reading this and seeing my opinion. Hello all I want to show you my platinum 153 coming from a game that totally deserves a praise from me. I love every main ac game since one. Even the ugly ducks in the series, there is always something about Ubisoft and they world desing and activities that got me, let´s say I´m one of those whom fall in their trap but nevermind cause I love it jaja. The graphics and sounds of the game are really good, the map is amazingly inmmersive and well done there is so many things to do and discover!. The side missions feels right and fun and each character have their own story and motives, the enemy camps are fun to do and you can repeat them everytime you want and there is the arenas and races too that are fun to do. Bayek as a main protagonist is a really likeable one and is a shame cause I feel like if they give him the Ezio treatment with at least another game (like one in Rome) he could easily be at the same level as Ezio and be such a memorable assassins and see in my opinion who could has been the first master assassins of the order. The templars (Ancient ones) are interesting and with really marked motivations and as always is cool to see how they use politics and relevants historic characters to fullfil their ambitions. Gameplay otherwise is good I like the changes they added the only thing I miss maybe is a better parkour system and a more fluid assessinations animations with the hidden blade cause they feel so robotic and slow. But in general I really liked this game and if you are a fan of history settings games, open world games or exploration I totally recommend you to get this one for you. Cheers! Popular Post PooPooBlast
#149 Root Letter In Root letter you play as Takayuki or Max, a guy in his 30s who randomly stumbles upon one of the letters he used to write 15 years ago with a pen-pal whom he never met in person with during his highschool years. Upon reading the contents, he decides to go to Matsue, the capital city of Shimane prefecture to pursue said pen-pal. Root letter was a mixed bag for me. It nailed some aspects and completely flopped elsewhere. So some of the pros for me were: - Excellent art style and really nails the "visual" in Visual Novel. Some of the best scenery and drawings I've seen in a VN - Great soundtrack which fits the "mystery mood" of the game. It's something you can chill to. This was by far my favourite soundtrack Spoiler - A satisfying true ending. The cons: - Didn't care much for the protagonist. He had no VA so he was mute. And also he was kind of a jerk sometimes when trying to get answers out of people whom you never met before just to satisfy your curiosity.. Had a hard time connecting or relating with him - Funny that I mention the great soundtracks before but the cut from one soundtrack to another in this game is really jarring with no smooth transitions. For instance, every time you pull up the map or back out, the music resets. Another problem is that despite the game having 30 or so soundtracks, there was just this one dominant soundtrack that plays in almost every scene which is a shame. - The story was meh. I say this because the quality is not up there with other VNs that I played. Its serviceable but don't expect anything sophisticated with regards to how the story transitions/how it's told. It's just... straightforward. - Adding to the previous point, it might have to do with some of the weird translations which I think it may have fit in the original VN but did not translate well in english. For some reason, it's normal to call others "bitch", "four-eyes", "shorty", "monkey" and so on because that was their nickname in highschool . - The structure of the story is also a miss for me. So these letters that you send in every chapter are what determines the endings you get but the problem is that they do not alter anything in chapters 1-8 whatsoever. Sure you can skip those and get on with the unique chapters 9-10 but the problem is there is hardly any build up as a result leading to the ending. You just get two short chapters that are unique for that ending which comes out of left field depending on which ending you're doing. So yea.. I can't say I'd 100% recommend this VN but I suppose if this is one of your favourite genres, then sure give it a go but don't expect anything grande. With that said, Yakuza 6 for #150 is locked and loaded. Edited October 8, 2020 by PooPooBlast
