By far the easiest of the Atelier games that I've platinumed, but still really enjoyable. It was a bit odd not having the usual amount of character events and specific endings, but it still had that usual Atelier charm. I'll be grabbing the second Atelier Ryza game when it comes out.

#392 - Robotics;Notes Elite

I have been excited for this game ever since the localization was first announced. It originally released in 2012 in Japan, so I had given up hope a localization would ever happen... and yet here it is. People who had already played the Japanese version had said it's the weakest main entry in the Science Adventure series, and unfortunately, I have to agree. It's not bad, in fact none of the Science Adventure games have been - not even the Steins;Gate dating sim spin-off, much to my surprise - but it just takes forever for anything to actually happen. For a large part of the game, if you have no interest in any of the characters, this'll probably bore you immensely.

 

That said, it does occasionally tie itself into the other Science Adventure games (specifically Chaos;Head and, to a lesser degree, Steins;Gate, since those were the only two previous releases at this point) and I was always invested in that part of the plot, and it's what excited me most about this, because according to Japanese players, the Robotics;Notes branch is essentially the one that glues everything together. And I can see that - maybe not to the degree that was hyped up (although maybe DaSH, the sequel, deserves that hype), but enough to be very engaging as a prior fan. The major drawback to this is that Chaos;Head was never actually brought west, so I could see references to events that happened in C;H throughout this, and it starts to become quite plot relevant, but I had to rely solely on what Chaos;Child - the sequel to C;H that was localized - taught me to understand what was going on. Less than ideal, but I got the gist of it. It also somewhat spoils some of Chaos;Head from what I can tell, but it's all vague enough that I can go back to C;H later if it's ever localized (please) and still essentially go into it blind.

 

I'm interested to see what DaSH has in store (speaking of which, I'm pleasantly surprised they sold Elite and DaSH as a bundle instead of asking $60 for both individually), but I probably won't be jumping into it right away. It's nice to know I have some new Science Adventure content waiting for me when I'm ready though. Hopefully we'll see some news soon about future games (such as Anonymous;Code, or the updated version of Occultic;Nine, or Steins;Gate 0 Elite) since there's a stream on the 25th of this month, but since it's a Japanese stream I'm not expecting a localization announcement anytime soon. I just hope Chaos;Head NoaH is next, since it's the only main game missing now unless you count Occultic;Nine, though... I'd accept any of the others spin-offs too.

first start with main mission untill u reach to pink Eye Stronghold they will told u needed clear area from 4->to->1 for start mission when i reach in this point i am back to beginning for clear everything Westland + photo relic + car body + scaveng location when i clear half map down there back to main mission the max now with u maximum lvl cause in this position u can got Road Warrior it’s enough repeter challenge can be done for max lvl -> after that i complete the story then doing all camp 100% there is a guide help me in each camp 3 or 4 minutes maximum for loot 100% after completing the camp back to minefield with dog before doing the minefield clear everything expect scavenge location cause u already clear half map after done back to minefield + all death race this is the fan part ( upgrade you magnum max lvl before play the death race you can destroy your enemy in race to make the race easier & some of race survival you have to finish before they destroy you & make sure you got legendary time with it 

- after complete every race open in stronghold to re-ammo to max for next race ) after complete the race destroy enemy vehicle with every archange after complete this steps back to loot all scavenge location then done

Life of a Consulting Detective

Time to Platinum: 12 hours | Difficulty: 2/10 | Enjoyment: 8/10

 

Overview

Set a few years after Crime and Punishment. The games prequel. You play as one of the most famous fictional detectives of all time Sherlock Holmes. This isn't your typical type of game to give an overview to since every case is different and not really related to anything. There is an overlying story which is essentially the build up for the last case but anything before that is just case by case basis. No overall story. So it's kind of hard to give an overview. There is a total of 5 cases all very different from each other and all can go any way you want them to based on your own deductions. The last case is probably the most important as it's related to the first game and is a personal case for Holmes.

 

Gameplay

There's no complex gaming situations with this game. You mainly control Holmes and a couple of other characters when going through the game. You mainly walk around crime scenes deducting clues and trying to find out what really happened with special abilities Holmes has like imagination where he can see what happens in cases and can get the right result almost every time. He's got a detective mode to where he can see things a little clearly in this mode and see secret stuff. Overall it's pretty basic, you go around clicking on stuff and putting all of the clues together. When you feel you have enough you go to a deduction page and put clues together and that's when you decide who is bad and who is innocent. That's the bulk of it really. Each case has different minigames to keep it a little fresh but that's about it. Nothing ground breaking or anything like that. Just a chill game really where you have to use your brain.

 

Characters

Characters aren't essentially important so much in this game as there is so many. The main two characters are Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. If you're familiar with who they are you'll know they never stray too far from every version of them from the movies and books and games. Holmes is someone who uses his brain a lot. Get's bored if he has nothing to do and always loves solving cases. He's quite blunt and straight to the point. Not many regards for emotions for people he's not close with. This makes him a great detective. His friend and colleague Dr. Watson is someone who helps out in all of his cases and is the more sympathetic of the two and helps people however he can and helps Holmes stay out of trouble for pretty much all of the game.

 

Trophies

All trophies are honestly simple. There is only one missable and that's for winning the bowels game in Case #2 the rest are all easily do able. For all of the trophies towards the end you need to make sure you came up with the right conclusion and got all of the clues regarding the cases. The rest of the trophies are just from progressing through the cases and finishing the cases. Nothing hard about the game at all really and the rarity speaks for itself at over 50% common.

 

Conclusion

Overall a great game. A much better game than it's prequel. The game kept me interested all the way through and was happy to realise I got most of the right outcomes on the cases so I didn't have to do any backtracking at all. It was a nice change of pace from all the games I've been playing recently which have been all heavy action based so taking a step back and trying to solve some murders was a great change of pace. I only started this game thanks to @Mayellie I did have it on my list but I wasn't going to start it just yet but eh I got a push. I wasn't going to refuse. Turns out I'm the "Great Detective Fox"

A long hard road 

 

Difficulty:  6/10 for the main game, 10/10 for the dreaded Eternal Slip minigame 

 

Enjoyment: 10/10 for the first 3 playthroughs, 5/10 thereafter and also for Eternal Slip! See explanation below ?

 

 

What a wonderful game this was, a hearken back to the JRPG era of the mid-late 90's! If you were from North America like me, back on Super Nintendo there was a game called Final Fantasy 3. The rest of the world will know this as FFVI, because stupid America needs to make things confusing for whatever reason at times! Anyway, FF3 is one of my all time favorites, and part of what got me into RPGs to begin with. This game hit those feels on so many levels, from the combat to the graphics, music, storyline... I felt like I went back to my beloved childhood there for a while!

 

The base game itself was a decent challenge. The difficulty curve spikes pretty sharply at the beginning of the game, but as long as you spend a little extra time grinding, you will be good to go! Besides, you are going to need all that gold to purchase every single item available in the shops for one terrible trophy! I'll elaborate more momentarily here... Anyone who has attempted to play this game and go for plat will be sure to tell you: Eternal Slip FUCKING SUCKS!! It is without a doubt the plat blocker for most people, as the rarity indicates. It is 6.5 minutes of torture each way, and I am soooooooooooooo glad I never have to do that BS again! Look it up on YT, if you are curious. 

 

What was actually almost the plat killer for me was said trophy for purchasing all the equipment from the shops. There are loads of items to buy, quite a few that are from missable areas you can never return to once you leave! I had to make 3 additional playthroughs (for a total of 5) for this damn trophy only to find out it is impossible to acquire on NG+, can only be done on a fresh playthrough. Fair warning to anyone who tries this!

 

Synopsis: Extremely enjoyable JRPG and well worth the lower price! Beware the Eternal Slip minigame if you are a true completionist, as it may be the only thing blocking you from plat! Oh yeah, and make sure you are extremely meticulous with keeping track of the items you need on your 1st playthrough.

I really enjoyed this one after some frustration. The main game itself is not overall difficult but the humvee boss and the boss where you have to "rescue" someone was quite difficult on professional. Very short game with different but predictable enemy waves depending on the difficulty. Controls feel dated and the remaster is quite nice if a small upgrade from the PS3 version. The PS4 version includes all the DLC. The DLC on pro is harder than the main game on pro by a lot. Lost in Nightmare is more about running than fighting while Desperate Escape is the opposite. Desperate Escape was complete hell and requires skill and memorization. This is also a great co-op game. Not enough of these around but it's a lot fun with a partner. Trophies can be earned co-op.

Review good exploring game I had lot of fun with it also I highly recommend it for anyone to try it! It’s created by Swedish team I’m proud of them such as Unravel was an amazing title aswell! You can pronounce it Fairy, feaa or fe btw ?

Difficulty 2/10 can’t be any easier really there is no bosses

Cant believe how long it took me to play this. Sure it’s a little buggy but it’s still amazing in almost every way. Combat is intense and encourages experimenting, the story is gripping, and the highest difficulty is an insane challenge to take on. Definite must play PS3 game.

Four days ago I got the platinum for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered 2, after that I decided to return to Modern Warfare (1). First off both games are excellent remasters and are prime examples of how games should be remastered. I played the original games and returning to them on a new system was a very enjoyable experience. BUT I gotta say, I enjoyed the MW2 remaster way more than I enjoyed MW (1). Modern Warfare Remastered felt very clunky in my opinion and besides that the campaign itself just can't really compete with the one from MW2 if you ask me. Excluding the iconic mission "All ghillied up" and all of Captain Price the missions felt just mediocre and weren't that much fun. On the other hand they were very beautiful to look at, but hey COD is not about the graphics, is it? The trophy set I liked, veteran difficulty I didn't. It didn't feel difficult, it felt cheap and was very frustrating at some times, so I decided to use the veteran glitch on the grenade spamming bullcrap sections. Also no way I'd waste my time on Mile High Club on veteran. The F.N.G. training course wasn't as challenging as the S.S.I.D training course if you ask me. Took me about 30 minutes to get the time I needed. One Shot One Kill only took me two tries on veteran and I'm very happy about that. What the actual f were they thinking or were they even play testing that last section? Where I had most problems though was the Heat mission. I don't know why, but I got burned out on it. Ugh. The rest of the trophy set was quite nice actually and spiced up the game a little, even though they could have added a few more miscellaneous trophies... This is probably my last COD platinum I'm going to achieve for quite some time. I just can't be arsed with the Zombie crap on all the other games.

 

Oh yeah, my favorite qoute of this game by the way: "Friendly fire - isn't." lol

 

Difficulty: With the glitch a solid 4/10, without I'd say a 5 or 6.

Enjoyment: 6/10

Time spent: About 20 hours I guess.

Muramasa Rebirth with 100% DLC

 

My first and only Vita only plat! This game is amazing and is another gorgeous title put out by Vanillaware. While I do have this on Vita (digital only with all the DLC) I played this on PSTV with a PS3/PS4 controller. After I found it it works flawlessly with the PS4 controller minus the touchpad I switched over and have never looked back. The PS button works just like it does on Vita. The beautiful 2D art looks amazing on HDTV but it's only 720p thanks to the PSTV output. It does 1080p but barely anything plays in 1080p on it. It could be crisper but it's hard to say if it's the original assets not being in a higher native resolution or if it's the 720p resolution itself. Regardless I highly recommend that this be played using a controller rather than a Vita once you start the Fury playthrough's. Now this was quite a long playthrough for me, not only just for plat but also for 100% completion with the DLC. While the DLC stories are short themselves, the trophies for it are not. I'd say 70 hours for 100% completion. Two playthrough's to earn most of the main story trophies, one for each character including all 3 endings per character for a total of 6 endings. Another playthrough of the main story just for the speed run trophy. Two last playthrough's on Fury difficulty and requires to see all 6 endings (again). The speed run trophy was a bit stressful as I did not optimize my saves and bronze mirror strat. I did it for the first part but not afterwards. If you take too long during boss fights or die the time still ticks and of course you can always reload but the saves are far from the bosses. I think I only had to reload once, maybe twice but I always saved outside the boss except the very beginning. Anyways without optimization and okay boss times I got to the last save at 2:48 and beat the boss in under 4 minutes which leaves enough time to watch the ending and the trophy pops before the credits start. Speedrun trophies the trophy pops before the credits. Ending trophies the trophy's pop after the credits but just before you save. The DLC is very similar the to the main game. You have to finish the story, watch the 2 endings, finish all cave of evils to completion like the main story, beat it on Fury and a few other easy trophies minus 2 more speed runs. The DLC speed runs I found the first was harder the main game and the second one was easier. The first speed run DLC I barely finished it. Made it to the last save at 0:50. Beat the boss in under 6 minutes and just had enough time to plow through the ending. The last DLC speed run I made it to the last save at 0:35 with a whopping 25 minutes to beat the last boss and watch the ending. The most infuriating part about this was the Fury playthrough's. You have 1 HP and basically one hit your dead. Your weapon breaks your dead. For Fury runs I highly recommend this be played on PSTV while it is for sure do-able on Vita you won't break your Vita doing this. The main story Fury run wasn't too bad. After playing through both I actually found Kisuke's bosses harder than Momohime's. I had lots of trouble with Sayo on Kisuke and finally beat her before she went into her fireball enrage mode. Lots of people had trouble with the Dragon God but I beat him the second try. On Momohime's Raijin gave me the most trouble but with patience and some RNG luck I was able to do it. Some of her attack phases are kind of random and hopefully you don't get the one where you basically have to run and dodge. Now the DLC Fury runs I found much harder than the main story. Each character has a different play style and some of the bosses you really have to exploit that character's play style against the bosses. The first boss of the Demon Child DLC against the bear took me 30+ attempts. The bear's last phase in which it goes permanent enrage mode while throwing wild boars at you, which are unblockable and the bear's movesets are very unpredictable at this point while there is a continuous spawn of boars that sometimes charge at you which I'm pretty sure it's unblockable as well makes seem like the task is impossible on Fury. It was by far the hardest DLC boss as you fight the bear right away so there's no way of leveling up, upgrading skills or buying items. It all came down to timing/maximizing damage correctly. The bear always goes into enrage mode after each health bar depletion. Just before depletion unleash your secret art as child and stun lock the bear for damage and the damage carries over into the next health bar. Just play keep away until the bear calms down and do the same thing again. On the last health bar switch to Demon and then finish it off with child secret arts. The second hardest DLC boss was the sumo but I couldn't figure out a strategy to beat him except using secret arts and amber magatama with the bamboo. Pour all your skill points into bamboo and summon your friends too and the damage will pile up fast. As mentioned previously, I would say Gonbe DLC was the hardest among the four as most of my Fury playthrough I kept whetstones and magatama's to a minimal use a possible, not because I didn't want to use them but I found most of the time it wasn't actually necessary. Infact, I learnt to use the restoration items as a defensive measure rather than offensive measure in some situations. Something I never did in non-Fury runs. The worst thing about this playthrough besides the frustrating Fury mode is the repetitiveness of so many playthrough's. Since this is my only Vita only title I no longer have to worry about syncing. This is now my favourite platinum and completion for it's all uniqueness, rarity and that I found it very challenging but do-able to complete. Highly recommended for all Vita/PSTV owners.

Mad Max

Normally when an online service is going away I usually am ok with just letting it go and not bothering. With this one however, I was between games and I had not played an open world game in a while. It was really fun. (aside from being paranoid about the scavenging glitch) The story was decent, the combat was good for the most part and the racing wasn't too difficult at all. A few of the challenges were a bit tricky, but nothing was overly frustrating. I would say that I would recommend it to anyone, but with some portion of the online going away at the end of the month, it wouldn't be worth it to start at this point.

 Platinum #59 - Need for Speed Payback



The Ultimate Payback - Very Rare: 9.05%

My second Need for Speed game this generation after Need for Speed 2015. The campaign is an attempt to make some Fast & Furious affair with some set-pieces thrown in, but it's all rather forgettable. Featuring some cringe inducing dialog that comes across as being written by someone middle-aged trying to act half their age. Perhaps a little too much open-world busy work and my least favourite upgrade system 'speed cards', which were clearly only implemented to be monetised, but otherwise really good fun from a gameplay standpoint.

I thought this was going to be a really straightforward easy platinum, but it ended up being a little more tricky than I expected. This was mainly due to the "Active Lifestyle" trophy requiring you to achieve 3-stars on all of the open world activities. Some of these ended up being rather annoying, requiring numerous attempts and in some case me to return back at a later time after further upgrading and tweaking the car I was using.

Enjoyment: 7/10
Difficulty: 5/10
Playtime: Roughly spent around 40 hours on this one.

Platinum  #5: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019

 

 

One of the fastest and easiest Call of Duty platinums I've got so far. The only hard part for the platinum is beating the game on Veteran because Missions 7, 10, 12, 13, and 14 gave me a lot more trouble than I expected. The Juggernaut part in Mission 14 was absolute BS on Veteran. The game was a lot of fun. I love the campaign, spec ops was shit, multiplayer was fine and Warzone, not so much. I'm glad to have that game off my console because It was a big file and taking too much space.

 

Difficulty: 2.5/10

Enjoyment: 9/10 (Just for campaign)

Playtime: 15 hours. It took me one week and 3 days because I was doing something and being very sleepy.
