Popular Post Deluziion90
#314 Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Master Marsupial 2.61% Get EVERY trophy Fun: 20/10 Difficulty: 9/10 Total time for platinum: 67h:30m The latest Crash Bandicoot game. Even though I dislike super hard games I ofcourse couldn't let a new Crash Bandicoot game down.(It's my avatar, signature, ps4 theme a bunch of real life collectibles and what not. Justice for the bandicoot platinum!) The game actually had a decent story this time and toys for bob did an amazing job to all the characters. Crash feels even more dumb when watching cutscenes which is a lot of fun :D. The game runs really well and I never noticed a single fps drop when playing on a PS4 PRO. The only minus would be some loading screens that could take 20-30 seconds. Funfacts / How I approached the platinum - Play a level for fun, Play for all 6 gems per level. Keep repeating the level until I got a perfect relic(collect everything and don't die). This Crash game has LONG levels like no other crash btw. - NEVER TOUCH THE JOYSTICKS. I played PS1 crash for countless hours and always played with d-pad. Somehow now I'm 30 I still can't even walk normal with joysticks in a crash game. - I need some serious rest for my hands. Spamming Square a million times for speedboosts in the speed trials is just no fun. My hands are just sore and actually really hurt at the moment. Big thumbs up for the Crash 4 forum on here. Lots of help tips and tricks to get this platinum Edited October 28, 2020 by Deluziion90
Omelette Paradise
#410 - Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises Another addition to my collection of Artifex Mundi platinums. This one takes the form of a crime scene investigation setting where the main character is a detective. The story resembles something from an unseen episode of CSI: Miami but with David Caruso nowhere to be seen. I liked that show so I got some enjoyment from it. Artifex Mundi games are notorious for their bad voice acting and I have to say that this title features some of the worst yet. It's comically awful at times. Puzzle wise it was a little bit trickier than some of the more recent Artifex Mundi titles. It actually reminded me of the earlier games they released on PS4. Popular Post RedSkyKing
Persona 5 Royal Enjoyment 10/10 Difficulty 03/10 Would highly recommend this game! This game is up there with my top favorites, easily. I became so invested in it's plot and characters. The music is so groovy and the art style is snazzy! I love everything about it! I didn't want the experience to end even though I had nearly sunk 200 hours in, and when it did end I sat and thought about what I should do with my life ? I got a little choked up during some scenes as well. I'll be digesting this game for the next couple days. Again, I highly highly recommend giving this game a go! Now, off to start NG+ ? P.S. Popular Post ex10097
Platinum #155 Deception IV Blood Ties Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 7.5/10 Trap MasterAcquire all trophies A unique game where you kill people by setting traps. Unlike most games the protagonist does not have the ability to fight and instead, sets traps and lures people onto them, then kills them off by setting off a combo of traps. Basically, you are the Devil's daughter and your task is to free him by luring and killing the Saint's descendants that originally sealed him. The game has four different endings, and sadly you need to play through the story four times but only your first playthrough is going to be the hardest because you need to fulfill all of the daemon requests your three servants give you. If it's your first time playing a game like this, then you will have a hard time unless you are very creative. Good thing that there are video and text walkthroughs available, but for a first-timer it isn't easy, but you will get better with repeated attempts. Although the guy in the video captured targets with high capture points, there is no need to capture people at all except for requests (Capture points have no value other than bragging rights). And although he doesn't use even a single ability and didn't get hit even once, that's impossible for noobs like us, so buy the recovery ability when available cuz it's going to be your best friend. Other useful abilities are Paralyze Beam and Enrage Beam, so use whichever suits you best. Once the requests are out of the way, you should have become good enough to create your own trap combos and play through the story again without any need for handholding this time lol. After this will be mission mode where you will attempt to accomplish an objective within the given time frame, and they get progressively more difficult, so definitely don't attempt this until you have seen all the endings and fully upgraded all the traps. Especially mission 89 which took me an entire hour. Capturing three enemies without being hit even once? With two appearing at the same time with one of them chasing after your ass with a spear (Can't blame him. I mean just look at that fine piece of work. Those tattoos at the bottom are VERY distracting during gameplay ?) and the other one sniping you constantly with a crossbow. Then the moment you capture one, a teleporting assassin shows up who is not only very fast, but can throw daggers at you, slice you up if he gets too close and did I mention he freaking TELEPORTS? But after all that you should have close to half a million exp points and now you need to grind till you reach a million. Found the easiest way is to load up a cross quest and use a simple trap combo of iron rake, spark rod and hell fire. This easy setup will net you 2000 exp per minute, so sit back and watch two movies as you keep repeating this over and over and over and over.... You can also unlock costumes from other Deception titles, Ninja Gaiden and even Atelier Totori! Verdict: A game that takes some getting used to, but once you have acclimatised to it, oodles of fun as you think of ELABORATE, HUMILIATING and SADISTIC ways to kill people. That said the platinum is a bit challenging and quite grindy, so no wonder it's sitting at 1.21% rarity. I myself gave up on it twice, but third time's the charm as they say, and decided to persevere through and finally succeeded after 6 years! Popular Post ex10097
Platinum #156 Severed Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3.5/10 Made Whole Obtain every trophy in the game A lot of people kept recommending this game if you own a Vita, so decided to give it a try and boy did I enjoy it a lot. From the same creators of Guacamelee (another title I also enjoyed a lot except for that damn combo chicken trophy and navigating the secret treetops level. That was some seriously insane platforming), comes a fruit-ninja like game, but with gore and blood, set in an apocalyptic world kind of like the Land of the Dead I guess. When you come across a mirror and get a first look at the protagonist, she's missing an ENTIRE ARM!!! No wonder she starts the game with like half HP. There's a lot of fighting and puzzle-solving in this short game. I only meant to try it for like an hour but kept playing for more than three hours cuz of how fun this game is. It's really nice how you can move with both the directional buttons and the X O T S buttons. So if your fingers get tired from swiping too much, you can just switch hands! Unlike our protagonist.... That said I don't want to spoil too much so if you are a Vita owner or have a Switch, I recommend you give this game a try. I thought I would play a short easy game after playing Deception 4, but boy did I enjoy every moment spent playing and left hungering for more. Wish there was a Severed 2.
madbuk
#393 - Pic-a-Pix Color 2 Going back to the coloured Pic-a-Pix games after doing Classic was a good time. Unlike Classic where you're stuck with a lot of lines filled with 1s, this game actually gives you good starting points and the puzzles flow well. Sometimes you have to spend a while looking for the next move (which is good - would be boring and way too easy otherwise), but it's nowhere near as frequent or tedious as it was in Classic. Was a good refresher of why I actually like these games. Other than that... it's a Picross game. Not much else to say lol.
Popular Post IKARUS-RG
Guacamelee! 2 (Platinum #300) My 300th Platinum trophy!! I really enjoyed the first Guacamelee a while back and I finally got around to playing the sequel for the big 300. Overall, I thought it was better than its predecessor and trimmed a lot of the fat from the first game (although the meme humour did start to grate a little at times). Still one of the best metroidvanias I've played and a really fun experience.
Popular Post Yoey_666
#382 - Unravel Two In my opinion a disappointing second part. It was a good challenge tho. Sadly I got a huge technical problem with this game because it was constantly crashing on Chapter 7 on my PS4 Pro .. I tried starting a new game with deleting all my saves, redownloaded the game but nothing worked. The only way for me to fix this was, playing the last chapter on my old PS4 Slim which is at the TV in my bedroom. There, the game never crashed. Lost a lot of nerves there, kinda glad I finished it now.

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #552: Difficulty: 1/10 Playtime: 1-2 hours Enjoyment: 6.5/10 A laidback little small town murder mystery game with a minimalist aesthetic; just the antidote I needed after my recent and needlessly stressful escapades. With a slight bent towards slice-of-life introspection, It's not so much about the aforementioned murder itself so as much as what led to it... and me not being a fan of crime and the like being used as an exploitative hook and of itself, I really appreciate that. Enjoyably quirky characters abound in the town of Pineview, but never to the detriment of the tone. It does feel a little wanting for length, though. The concept is sound, and the writing is deft, but it just sort never really captures its full potential... and this is without mentioning you can platinum the thing without ever seeing the game through to the end! Could've used more time in the creative oven. Even with these flaws, the end product exudes heart and purpose. Worth the gamble, I'd say... and if you don't enjoy it, you can just breeze through the thing... either way, you'll have supported some talented folks. And sometimes that's enough. I certainly good better vibes than I did from that other rainy murder mystery game... not a damn QTE or awkwardly animated controllable sex scene in sight!

Popular Post DamagingRob
#492- Resident Evil 0 Wanna Go for a Ride? Earn all trophies. Well, this one took a lot less time than the first two I did. Most of that is sticking with it, and not leaving it sit while working on other games (RE2). Or leaving it for years, dreading an unpausable speedrun (RE1). Could be I'm getting the hang of them, too. RE2 felt way harder than this. This seems to be a prequel, set before the events of the original Resident Evil. Where you play as the familiar Rebecca, and an escaped convict named Billy. Once again, we have similar controls to REHD. Camera angles that can have you walk straight into an enemy. Limited space for items, saving with ink ribbons, and zombies (of course). Though there are differences, as well. Instead of two separate characters having their own campaigns, you control both with some A.I. co-op. Though very rarely do you have the A.I. do much, switching to whatever character you want to use, and telling the other one to stay put or follow. They can shoot, but with ammo being of limited supply, you'll probably not want them wasting it. They're also dumber than a box of rocks, at times. Trying to push a box, and Rebecca will just stand in front of it. Meanwhile, they'll kind of sidestep if you run into them. But getting out of the way of you pushing a box was too much for the programmers, I guess. Item management is also a bit different. There are no item boxes in this one, but you can drop things and pick them back up. So you have to carry stuff with both characters, and sometimes make trips back and forth for items. And only Rebecca can mix herbs, while Billy is more of a tank. You'll probably play more as him, since he can take so many more hits. Though the one problem with dropping items with changing camera angles is, they'll sometimes end up offscreen. Then it can be a struggle to locate and pick it up.. Not to mention, picking up the wrong item in a room where you've dropped multiple things close to each other. You also have some different enemies like infected monkeys, cockroaches, giant frogs, leeches, and mimicry zombies. The last one is a zombie covered in leeches, I think. Lot faster than normal zombies, and stretches its arms like Mr. Fantastic. Like most Resident Evil games, the trophy list is very involved. Lol. Will take at least 4 playthroughs, unless you decide to start on Hard. Speedrun, no saves, no healing.. Sounds worse than it is, though. After beating the game and completing Leech mode, you'll have unlimited ammo and a powerful magnum. Clearing it in under 2 hours and 30 minutes would have been fair. 3:30 is a joke with these. Took me 2:20. It also seems pausing stops the clock, so no need to use Rest Mode this time. RE0 definitely has some flaws. But I enjoyed it, for the most part. Would recommend to fans of the series. I mean, who doesn't want to play a game with Rebecca and outfits like these: Spoiler Platinum image: Spoiler ^Also kind of disappointed with the end game screens. 1 & 2 showed whatever outfit you had equipped.
Popular Post Conor
#79- SAINTS ROW IV (PS3) Kingpin Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 11 months, 2 days, 16 hours (40 hours in-game) Rarity: 1.3% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 9.68% Very Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: The Challenge King- Complete ALL of the Challenges “Like all good stories, the second act begins with a call to action and the building of a robot...” Once upon a time, the Saints Row series was a somewhat grounded open world street gang game, with just a sprinkle more zaniness than Grand Theft Auto. Saints Row IV opens with an assassination mission to take out one of the antagonists of Saints Row: The Third leading them to becoming international heroes and The Playa/ Boss becoming the President. I'm not sure which administration is crazier- the Saints or the current real life one, but in any case, the Earth is soon invaded by an alien race called the Zin and the heroes are trapped in a simulation of Steelport, which they must break down in order to stop the Zin and avenge Earth and their fallen comrades. Oh, yes, and within the simulation of Steelport, the President has superpowers. Now, I can understand the frustrations of those who wish that the series had stayed in the vein of the first two games, but I for one can appreciate that the developers committed to the zaniness of the series and ran with it- made it its own thing completely. I played this when it first released on Xbox 360 and I had a hell of a time, more fun than I had with The Third, in fact. The story is so kooky, I love it. The characters are great, including the return of one Johnny Gat as well as newcomers Asha Odekar- a sexy M16 agent- and CID- a rogue Zin AI granted a physical form to help the Saints. Also returning are Pierce, Shaundi, Kinzie, Matt Miller and Benjamin Motherfucking King, although obviously no longer voiced by the late, great Michael Clark Duncan. Also, Keith David is here, playing a fictional version of himself as well as Julius Little from the first two games, with many jokes about their similarities as well as a guest appearance from another departed great, Rowdy Roddy Piper and a great reenactment of the back alley fight scene from 'They Live'. So many references and jokes spread throughout the game and the DLCs make this a very funny game overall, totally ludicrous in every way and I'm here for all of it. The gameplay and world are similar to the previous game, although there are some changes to the city due to it being an alien simulation and you now have superpowers which changes up the combat and exploration totally- there is literally no need to use a car since your super speed, super jump and glide get you wherever you need to go and faster than a vehicle too. This does render a huge component of the game totally obsolete but it's actually well in line with other superhero games like inFamous and Prototype where you can't get into vehicles at all, at least you have the option here! The powers are a lot of fun to mess around with and the activities are fun and very easy if you upgrade highly. Getting some of Matt's missions out fo the way allows you to easily track and collect the Data Clusters to upgrade your powers. I did find that the game was very glitchy and buggy and crashed quite frequently, and didn't start up at all if my PS3 had its web connection enabled. Even though the servers for the character gallery have closed down, I was able to use a program called Simple DNS to trick the game into thinking the server was still up, this allowing me to get the trophy for uploading a character- I hate when singleplayer games have online trophies, had to do the same thing for Saints Row: The Third. Also, doing the activities as side missions for the different characters was very tedious, so it is best to do it at one's own pace rather than follow them as mission objectives. Finally, the game requires 40 hours of total play for a trophy, but when I had everything down including the two brilliant DLCs, I still had ten hours to go, so I just let the game sit idle until it popped and with it, my platinum. Overall, Saints Row IV is an awesome game that everyone should play, although I would suspect that the "Re-Elected" PS4 remaster is the more definitive way to play it for a smoother experience. This took me a while so I'll be playing some shorter games to build up my Trophies-Per-Day score once again.

Popular Post Viper
#204 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided #Can'tKillProgress Well I bought this for super cheap in a sale about 4 years ago and it's been sitting on my shelf ever since. I loved Human Revolution, but that was always the "Plat that got away" as, after 4 retries Foxiest of the Hounds didn't pop and, at the time, I didn't have it in me to do it all over again. So knowing MD had the same trophy in it, it took me this long to finally play it. But really enjoyed this one too. The story is a bit short and the game ends when things are just starting to get interesting. But gameplay wise I had a blast. Like Dishonored, there's a ton of different paths with verticality to allow you to approach any situation a number of way. When it comes to Foxiest of the Hounds. I had very little trouble...though it's likely because I was far more vigilant on saving very very very often...like I don't think I've ever saved on a game so much in my life. And was equally vigilant on reloading said save if even the slightest thing went wrong. Permadeath was quick and simple finished 90% of it just today. Breach Mode though (Online) was horrible...once again an online mode shoved into a single player game that doesn't need to be there. But this game has inspired me to go back to Human Revolution...I'm going to be just as vigilant about saving and reloading this time.
