Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #58 Just Ignore Them Platinum Mark A cool little story about a guy who is pursued by ghosts his entire life but still manages to be miserable and a loner. It's one of those games where you have to interact with objects to piece together how to proceed. For whatever reason, I suck at these games and they make me feel dumb. For example, seeking clues, early on you listen to a voice message saying something about a linen closet, so I go to the linen closet, and quickly get gobbled up by a ghost. So then my brain stops braining and I'm like okay...WELL WHAT DO I DO NOW?!!? I'm sure most don't struggle like I do. Thank goodness for walk-throughs. Platinum #59 Road Bustle Platinum deliveryman I love this trophy image. A larger than life deliveryman posed like a superhero who will let nothing stand in his way of braving speeding traffic to go...wherever he goes. We don't know, since nothing is ever actually delivered. I played the NA stack; this is the EU stack, and it felt more polite, dressed itself a bit fancier, and for whatever reason came across as more intelligent when it spoke. Platinum #60 Riverbond New Brick on the Block Here's an example of where my opinion of a game and its trophies differ. Riverbond is a game where you can smash much of the environment on your way towards shattering bosses, collecting weapons, and equipping many different skins. It plays well, is a good length, and doesn't overstay its welcome. Weapons and skins are the best part of the game, with weapons ranging from clubs and swords to shovels and guns that shoot bees. Skins can be food with faces, animals, or characters from other video games, like the guy from Guacamelee or Bastion. For a few levels, I was playing as Shovel Knight. At one point I wasted a boss by continually poking it with a giant Popsicle. It's good fun. Interesting that this game breaks the standard video game rule of eliminating minions before directly attacking a boss. The reason for this is because of infinite lives, respawning in the same place as you die, and enemies' health not regenerating after your death. My default boss strategy became to rush it, poke/slap/slash it until my HP was gone, and then repeat. After a few attempts, down the boss went. Unfortunately, the trophy list is lazy. I'm not one to complain about a lack of challenge; fun is more important to me, but the trophies lack variety. A good chunk of them are for simply speaking to NPCs, and one is given for starting each level. The game calculates points, and issues them for locating treasure and coins, and for defeating enemies, but offers no point-based trophies. Nothing for collecting a certain number of coins or jems, nothing for defeating a boss within a certain time limit, which is an opportunity that opens each battle, and points are issues if victory is had in time, but points don't matter, really, so I didn't see much...what's the word? Anyway, a trophy for smashing up the environment would have been nice, too. All in all it's absolutely worth playing, and I imagine co-op, which is offered, would be enjoyable.

Popular Post Viper
#205 Deus Ex: Human Revolution Platinum After 7 Years 4 Months...I finally have this Plat! Got the Plat in Mankind Divided recently and figured I'd give this one another shot since I was in that Deus Ex groove. So I played this originally when we got it on PS+ back in 2013, and I had restarted the game 4 times at different parts because I just wasn't satisfied with what I was doing, knowing that Foxiest of the Hounds and Pacifist trophy were hanging over my head. I wasn't used to games like this back then...so on the final restart I made sure to keep my head down and pay attention to everything I was doing. Got to the end of the game, knowing 4 trophies were supposed to pop in quick succession...and after all was said and done...everything but Foxiest of the Hounds had popped. I was honestly about as heart broken as you could be at a video game. I couldn't do it anymore, I couldn't go again...I gave it up. Considering HR the "Plat that got away". This time, I used a walkthrough for heavy stealth sections, used every save slot, and saved in them at any point I felt like I had to if a mistake could be made...if I made a mistake, even a slight one, I reloaded that save. Feels good to finally have it.

That all ended when some Spartan soldier killed him. Sparta isn't around anymore. Can't wait to do it all over again in Odin's land.

Popular Post snakebit10
#321 A Plague Tale: Innocence While I did like the story and the environments I thought the gameplay was rather simplistic. Some of the different ammo types were cool. Like having to make the soldier remove his helmet before being able to kill them. Didn't care for the one hit kill. The rats were rather creepy but can be used to your advantage later in the game. The characters were likeable for the most part. Not a whole lot to say with spoiling it for anyone.

Popular Post coldhardcrash_
#44 Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure Saw this on sale so I decided to give it a shot. Set my expectations low and I'm glad that I did. Not a great game, but not that bad either. Had its fun moments here and there but overall just a meh game, very simple and bland for the most part. It's just a simple collectathon with some very, very easy platforming. A few of the statue treasures are well-hidden (and a couple with some very poor game design choices in terms of placement) and account for the only real challenge in this game. Managed a cool screenshot for the Plat though! ? Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 PSN Rarity: 4.0% Time to Platinum: ~7 hours

Popular Post Conor
#81- FAR CRY CLASSIC (PS3) Paradise Memoirs Enjoyment: 5/10 Challenge: 3/10 Time Taken: 2 days, 19 hours, 33 minutes (8 hours in-game) Rarity: 8.3% Very Rare (PSN) / 30.86% Uncommon Hardest Trophy: Ninja Jack- Collect the Key card in Research without alerting anybody! "I'm not even getting paid for this crap!" The original release of Far Cry on PC was a revolutionary game that I played over and over again. Sure, it is dated now, but the island adventure of Jack Carver was so insane at the time, with its very open levels, different ways to approach objectives and variety of weapons ass well as an entertainingly goofy plot that was sadly never revisited in later entries. The dialogue was typical B-movie schlock coupled with over-the-top voice acting. But it was just so awesome even though the series has come along a bit in terms of writing and gameplay, although I feel the charm of the original is somewhat lost. That is why I believe this game is a classic... but this port, ironically monikered "Classic" is anything but. Even though it is a port of an older game, they really could have done something about the character models and textures. Sure, it is running on PS3 but the machine was capable of much better than what is on show here. There are some improvements such as ADS for the guns but the controls are pretty lacklustre and there is no real satisfaction in killing hordes of enemies because the guns and shots just seem to lack impact. And don't even think of trying to stealth your way through this because the stealth is utterly broken here- enemies spot you from a mile away and even through cover. Sometimes they'll hear you sneaking up on them even if you are crawling. You'll get endless grenades chucked at you or a vital NPC (goddamn it Val) will run right into their barrage and get themselves killed, failing the mission. And that's all if the game just doesn't outright crash on you- I had to start the Swamp mission seven times because of crashes. Other times, whole sections of levels just wouldn't load and I'd be there running aimlessly in a mushy nightmare, which even affected the field models. This was solved by restarting, but still very annoying. Poor optimisation aside, there really isn't much on offer here that couldn't be achieved by even a passable PC, except of course for an easy Platinum trophy. Because I just couldn't be arsed going through it all again on Hard difficulty, I used the save exploit by turning off my PS3 after switching to hard, then rebooting and loading up the last checkpoint, killing the last enemy with a rocket in the middle of the room and popping the last trophies. Quick but somewhat painful. Sadly, the awesome Far Cry 2 has ridiculous multiplayer requirements so I won't be going for that plat. The rest of the series- stacks included- will be fair game for me though.
Popular Post Nostalgy_Flow
Platinum #86: Detroit: Become Human Wonderful experience, I enjoyed it a lot! Fascinating thematic, with very intriguing characters and a nice story. Also the OST was beautiful. Quantic Dream's games are always gold! My favorite remains Heavy Rain, followed by this, and then by Beyond: Two Souls. I absolutely have to get Fahrenheit aka Indigo Prophecy! Nothing to say about the plat, there are various trophies linked to the choices, obviously I did the first run blind.
Popular Post EIdain
Platinum #60 - Marvel's Spider-ManBe Greater - Uncommon: 47.66% Finally ticked off the last major PS4 exclusive that I wanted to play before the PS5 launches. I thought the story was really good, Yuri Lowenthal was an excellent Spider-Man. I was not expecting just how much set-up there is for the Miles Morales game, as well as a sequel. This was the first brawler I've played but I really enjoyed the combat. The skill tree helped with evolving the combat throughout the game along with the arsenal of gadgets to unlock and upgrade. My one major disappointment was the open-world design. Manhattan is a great place to allow for Spider-Man's web swinging to shine. However it's Ubisoft checklist approach to open-world activities, along with towers to reveal parts of the map is incredibly dated at this point. It made what isn't a very long game begin to feel like a drag towards the end. I hope this is improved upon for Miles Morales. I know PlayStation exclusives have gotten a (well-earned) reputation for being easy nowadays, but I was shocked at just how easy this was to complete. After wrapping up the story I only had 4 trophies left; two contextual, one for unlocking all the suits, and one for defeating a certain boss. It must have took me roughly an hour to earn a few more challenge tokens to unlock all the suits before the platinum was pretty much done. Enjoyment: 9/10Difficulty: 1/10Playtime: Roughly 30 hours, maybe less. I was surprised at how short it was.
Popular Post IesuHado
Platinum N° 155 - Assassin´s Creed Liberation Remastered (PS4) Julius CaesarEarn every Trophy. STATS (PERSONAL OPINION): - Enjoyment: 6/10 (General) - 6/10 (Going for Platinum) - Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 - Would I recommend it: You will have this one automatically for getting Assassin´s Creed 3 Remastered (Note: I´m a fanboy of the franchise so be aware of that I totally love the saga and formula). Hello all! It been a while since I post here jaja but I´m back and with two games this time. I will start with Liberation cause is (for me) the weak one in the main entrances of the saga and the shortest to end and 100% but this is not bad at all if you know this one was first for the Vita and moreover you are getting it as part of Assassin´s Creed 3 Remastered one of the best in my opinion and a game that for his time (2012) was BIG. Assassin´s Creed Liberation introduce you to Aveline the first female protagonist in the series and in my opinion a good character, the map I admit is not awesome but is acceptable for the size of the game, the story is pretty rushed that´s a bad thing and the gameplay I think it was better in the Vita don´t know why but the controls were a bit tedious sometimes for me. But guys the reality is that is a fun game and a fast and easy platinium also you are getting it as part of the 3rd one so give it a try if you already make the pucharse. Honestly I love the saga but I will avoid this one if it wasn´t free for getting the 3rd one whom is the star of this post. Platinum N° 156 - Assassin´s Creed 3 Remastered (PS4) Master AssassinGet every trophy. STATS (PERSONAL OPINION): - Enjoyment: 7/10 (General) - 7/10 (Going for Platinum) - Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 - Would I recommend it: Only if you get it as part of the Gold Edition of Assassin´s Creed Oddyssey wich can be bought it for 25$ (Trust me that´s a lot of content there for this 3 games). (Note: I´m a fanboy of the franchise so be aware of that I totally love the saga and formula). This game is awesome is big with a lot of content, the map is amazing the combat is the more fun in all saga and Connor is a really good character in my opinon. The platinum is time consuming but not hard and if you like the game is not going to be tediuos at all. I got this game as a part of the gold edition of Assassin´s Creed Oddyssey so for 25$ I was in!. You will play around Boston, New York, The Frontier and and fictional homestead for the player all zones pretty unique, the story is long and good with all characaters being pretty good and interesting with their motivations. The naval missions are introduced in this games and they are as fun as they were back in 2012 and the side content and dlc is fun and lot of things to do. Thanks for reading all! wich you all a nice week , cheers!

Popular Post Carol
#202 BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition Platinum Columbia Acquire all other trophies Maybe because I had been away from gaming for a while, the PS3 generation was where greatness truly resided, for me. "BioShock Infinite" was, among many others, one of the highlights and, in my opinion, a must-play from the fantastic PS3 library of games. The original version of this game was, actually, my 50th platinum, years ago and it was great revisiting Columbia after all this time. I really love everything about this game: a fascinating city, interesting characters and gameplay, a very mysterious story, with a completely unexpected ending...! The platinum is decently challenging too, since 1999 mode can be pretty tough at times. I know that I will never forget this game. It was, for me, a truly remarkable experience.

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #214 Ginger: Beyond the Crystal Goddess’ blessing 100% complete What a let down this was. So glad this crappy game is over. And while some trophies 'glitched' the 'close the game and reopen it' solution to all of them worked, so... yay? :/ Framerate was terrible, you'd fall through platforms constantly, sometimes just the floor itself, moving platforms you'd get stuck on the edge like it's tugging you along and you just jitter like crazy. This is one of those platformers with a double jump that's virtually useless, where you have to use it almost instantly or it's can't be useful for anything, at least it's not stupid enough to flat out not work as you lose height, that's even worse. Most jumps require you to do the double jump and you just barely make it a lot of the time, combined with the horrible hit detection means a lot of just falling through the platform. They should have just made it not suck, or made the base jump the double jump height instead of this stupid shit. Tons of eaten inputs, your projectiles will sometimes fizzle out right as you shoot them, sometimes you can shoot 5 quickly other times it's hard to even shoot one. Don't get me started on aiming the ranged attacks. The melee is trash, you'll 75% of the time take damage yourself trying to attack something. When Super Mario 64's combat is superior to yours, maybe just remove it or cancel your game. The dash in particular was shit. You'd get some invincibility frames for the ground pound attack, but that shit takes ages to use. You die instantly from falls, falls that in a Mario game you'd probably not even take damage from. Some of the heights you die from are stupid as hell. The camera is fucking trash, you can't move it up at all, it's too pulled back 99% of the time and they made so many huge platforms for no reason. The final boss is a big pain in the ass due to the size of the platforms you're on. You can't see half the shit going on because the camera not only is slow but is so limited. Had they reduced the size of the platforms it would've worked better. Half the difficulty is from the fact the game is a piece of crap instead of it being actually hard. Any time I'd die I'd just think, "If this were Mario, Ratchet and Clank, any platformer with good controls and hit detection... I'd be done by now." The map is atrocious and useless, you can't tell where a building you haven't built is located on it, you can't see which levels are which, you can't fast travel, the hub level design for world 2/3 are so fucking annoying because of all the stupid paths and made worse by the fact you can't fall moderate distances to make travelling easier. Sometimes you will sprint around and the movement isn't so bad, but I couldn't ever figure out why he would decide to start running faster. There was this b/s 'platforming' bonus level where you had to jump on rotating platforms that turned so you'd fall off if you remained on them. Something you see in a lot of 3D platformers like Mario, Ratchet, even Psychonauts. But in this you'd end up falling short a lot of the jumps, and you'd often fall through them if you tried to jump the gap between rotating platforms to give it a safer jump since the length of the platform before the next safe spot was too long to reach fast enough. It was a nightmare. I hate this game. I will say the music is nice, but that's about all I can give it credit for. I'm confident there are far more negative things I could talk about, but I just don't want to talk about this stupid game anymore. Put it in the past.
Popular Post Trini
#127 - Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage A worthy sequel that's even better than the first. The biggest challenge would be the conservationist 2 trophy, where you would need to defeat Gulp without killing any fodder. While you could easily defeat him with the permanent super flame, it just seems like a shortcut that would otherwise be an exigent and fun fight. Overall I enjoyed it a lot more than the first game, looking forward to Year of the Dragon.
