Popular Post Redgrave
- #202: Furon Perfection - Destroy All Humans Remake I played the original on Xbox back when it came out and I remember enjoying it a lot so I was glad to see that they were remaking it. It's a pretty well done remake and I like the extra touches they did by making the levels and characters more colorful to make it look like the romanticized version of how the 1950s looked. It was nice playing it though and laughing at all the tongue-in-cheek jokes that went over my head when I originally played it. ? When it comes to the trophies they weren't really difficult but some of the in-game challenges were more tricky than others but once you fully upgrade everything they are easier. Along with those I only had to replay a few of the missions for the Optional Objectives one of which I didn't have enough upgrades with at the time so I had to skip doing it but otherwise they were pretty straightforward which I appreciate.

Snoeijske
Platinum #30 Dragonball Completed it in 3 years 8 months and 3 weeks Platinum rarity 3,44% Pretty easy platinum. Problem is that it is RNG based so it’s a huge grind to collect all of the ultimate and super attacks. Therefore you need to do the same missions over and over again.

Popular Post AccessEngage21
#128 Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force FA Project Complete Difficulty: 6/10 Fun Factor: 6/10 Rarity: 16.48% Time in Total: 6 Days, 1 Hourso, it takes me so long to talk about this games that a entire year pass by.......happy new year anyway! ok, so this is technically the last one of the 3 japanese games i bought previously, and is more that anything else, a action/arcade game by namco bandai here, this is a spin off of the Extreme Vs series (again, action arcade games made like arcades.....) and it exclusive for the vita is pretty much Extreme vs for the ps3, just on a vita screen, without multiplayer (although a ad hod mode is included), and with some content, i got the japanese original (this game actually got a american port) so this one instead comes with a DLC with multiple gundams that didnt make it in the initial roster, gotta admit that i love that detail so technically is decent, the gundams looks excelent and graphically looks polish enough, i can only criticize the lack of ambition in the stages to be honest, really short maps and probably somehow repetitive as time when on, this game got a campaign mode that is pretty ok, the idea is that you need to beat each stage in certian conditions in order to get medals that also will unlock other missions, some medals are normal like beat the stage with certian gundam or beat it while having a certian amount of health, other can be complicated like beat a stage without recieve damage or beating within a certian amount of time, of course the game will help you with the Force commands, as you defeat enemies and taking bases, the game will give you point that you can use later in exchange of a variety of force commands like increasing damage on gundam or warships, having more defense instead, having your health restore, even giving you invencibility or unleashing a force attack in order to destroy enemy warships with ease, all this element make battle actually a lot more entretaining that the original extreme vs on ps3, with that aside, the rest of the game is pretty much standard stuff, if you play gundam breaker or any musou game, many of the missions will be familiar, like taking bases or having to send you warship to a certian location to gundam fights, etc, is kinda hard, but also forgiving, and it give you a whole bunch of different gundams to use to experiment with them, sadly, some mission actually will requiere to use a pre-determined gundam in order to completed, so it could be a little frustated, but it still manageable. gameplay once again is really fluid and aracde type to my liking, the controls were really nice, the music (some themes are exclusive from the game, another ones are for the gundam series) are really good and the modes will lacking (force mode and versus mode "both offline and ad hod") are servicial at the very least it was my least favorite of the three i manage to get, but that was mostly because im not a big fan of gundam (having gundam breaker 1 and 2 platinums was mostly because i am a sucker for musou games), regardless, the quality on this game is undeniable, so if you got the chance, go for it, is a game worth of atention.... and it works on PSTV too Edited January 2, 2021 by AccessEngage21
Popular Post NurseTatiana
#222 Cyberpunk 2077 Never Fade away 7.09% RARE 0.3% PSN Rarity Enjoyment 6.5/10 Difficulty 3/10 Soundtracks 9/10 Time Estimated 70-90h My review first of all I was very hyped for this game after waiting for years. It got delayed many times so people was upset about it but we all thought that when we finally play it...It's going to be amazing! But nope at first launching the game played for few minutes and it crashed I was like why? Not to mention the graphics was awful felt like playing an early 2010 PS3 game and let me tell you Dead Space that was made in 2008 had better Fram rates maybe I shouldn't really compare but anyone could see the difference between any other game! I said okay let me keep going I bought it for 70€ thanks to my best friends that helped me buy it ❤️ I finished the story and everything was alright I did the kill related trophies that was easy enough checking guides here and there and I was already aware of the missable ones so I got them outta the way thankfully. The hell started when doing the NPCD/Gigs trophies I must say that was one the most horrible experiences that I ever had in a while! Many of them didn't spawn properly or either did register as completed in my list at all...let alone not getting the calls from the fixer I hated every moment of it most of the NPCD didn't glitch but the gigs are the ones that fucked up everything. After lot of tries of reloading the saves back and forward I managed to get the trophies for them except the one in the city Watson cause freedom of press Gig glitched and marked as only "leave the area" I supposed to get a reward after a call but nothing happened. I did lot of side missions, sleept in the apartment with no results....suddenly it marked as completed and was very happy for it one gig away from the platinum but haha nope. Tygers of toe Gig was already glitched for me without me paying attention.....I couldn't mark it in the map at all so I did everything that I could without any results....I gave up and said R.I.P the platinum all the amount of efforts and grind was for nothing why I'm doing this because I'm enjoying the game right? I was so pissed off, mad and honestly cried cause I felt like I was the most unlucky person ever to encounter this...upon creating a thread seeking for help without results aswell. I calmed myself down and said I can't ruin the new year day because of this so closed the game and came back the 3 January. I was ready to do the entire area again and to level up from street cred 29 to 49 what a victory in a matter of 5h I was abel to pull everything fast enough from scratch...thankfully I reached the end with a smile of my face I was so proud to get the platinum and had so many fears that it would glitch again. Finally!! ? ? Do I recommend it? No!! Here is the deal it's better to wait for the patches or play it on the PS5 if you have one the platinum journey is like a fortunes if you lucky you will not have so many gigs that may glitch on you or if like me you will suffer a lot which is not a good thing and not worth it trust me Next platinum? Honestly I don't feel like playing anything now after what I went through I said to try My name is Mayo 2 for fun but idk about it...I guess Blair witch but lets now go back to the 10-30h range plats that I used too and just have fun....hopefully 2021 is going to be a good year for many games to try out!! postofficebuddy
Platinum #125 Skullgirls 2nd Encore: Another Seven Years Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 7.5/10 A challenging platinum but a very fun and enjoyable fighting game. The fact that the online runs on rollback net code is a nice added bonus. Probably my favorite fighting game since Persona 4 Arena. The story mode is pretty sad though. Aside from Fillia, arguably, there are no happy endings in this and a few of them are some dark shit.

Popular Post WishingLemon
#21: Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight My first plat of 2021. Wasn't a fan of the music to start with but it soon grew on me. I haven't played the Persona games before other than some of P1 and some of P4G, but this made me want to go back and play through them. They seem like some very solid games that I missed out on. All the characters seemed likable in their own way, even though all the usual tropes were there it wasn't too overdone. I'll be going straight into Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight from here, I hope it's just as good.
Popular Post Trumpet_Boi_208
#25: Apotheon Enjoyment: 9/10 - Personally, I loved this game. The graphics were beautiful, the music perfectly complemented it, and the gameplay was a ton of fun. My only problems with the game is the occasionally clunky aiming system and the frequent crashes. Not frequent enough to ruin the experience, but it is noticeable. Difficulty: 6/10 - I decided to play through the game on Olympian without the exploit, and honestly, it wasn’t that bad. The only difficult parts were the Artemis boss fight, and the build up to the first fight against Zeus. The rest of the game honestly wasn’t that bad. Artemis was a pain in the neck because when you’re turned into a stag, you have no means of self defense, and you have to hope that Artemis misses her shots. Considering that enemies deal 50% more damage, then you’re in for a bad time. The buildup to the first battle with Zeus was difficult mainly because I was poorly prepared to do it, with few health potions and repair kits. Properly prepare for it, and you’ll be fine. Overall - A very fun and unique game set in Greek mythology, with a hard difficulty that adds some good challenge. If you’re considering trying it legitimately, then by all means, go ahead. There’s always an exploit to fall back to if you can’t do it.

Popular Post Sofa King
147- Cat Quest II Wanted to start the new year off with something fun, relaxing, and light-hearted so I went with this. Turned out to be a good choice. I really liked the first game and this is more of the same. If it ain't broke don't fix it. That said, it did take a few minutes to adjust to the ability to switch between two characters, a cat and a dog, but nothing bad. The story seemed shorter this time, but that's probably because there wasn't much getting used to anything jarringly different from the first. Not a long or challenging game but a lot of fun without feeling like a grind. There's a lot of collectibles and locations to find and the map certainly helps. In all this fit the bill for what I was looking to play as the first plat of 2021. If you liked the first game or just want to play a Zelda-type game with cats (and dogs) I highly recommend it.

Popular Post slaaack1
#12 Rainswept When it released I was impressed that it was only listed for 9,99€ at release. Now it was on sale for 4,99€ so I picked it up because I liked the look of it and it kinda reminded me of Oxenfree. Overall a decent game, nice art style on everything besides character faces but I have to say I'm glad I didnt buy it for 9,99€ because it would have felt underwhelming to me. Kinda short, sometimes the story feels kinda rushed and it crashed 2 times after I got the plat (you get the plat before ending the game actually). Because of the 2 crashes I also decided to dont end the game and instead watch the rest of the game on YT since I already got the plat. Storywise I have to say its more about the detectives story and storys of other people than the actual case you are on. Decent but its sad that some/most of the people wont see everything because they stop playing after getting the plat after like 2 hours of gameplay...

Popular Post StraightVege
Brainiac #249 Startling how much times change—an imaginative cult classic that was once among my all-time favorite games, but to state that it hasn't aged well mechanically would be putting it too mildly. With the nostalgia glasses removed, Psychonauts is an absolute jankfest of imprecise controls, an infuriatingly poor camera, clunky combat, and confusing level design. If you somehow aren't familiar with this old game, here's the setup: a powerful ten year old psychic, Razputin, grows tired of life as a traveling circus performer with his strict father, so he runs away to Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp. Here, children with great psychic potential are trained to become the titular Psychonauts, mental warriors capable of diving into a person's mind to solve their cognitive issues (I could sure use one of them). Expect to fall off of literally everything at least once, as you futilely attempt to grab hundreds of transparent, near-invisible collectibles in this thoroughly dated 3D platformer (possibly the worst collectible design ever). Finding every figment in certain worlds, like Milla's Dance Party, could be used as a form of torture. There appears to serious input delay, so hammering the jump button earlier than expected is a necessary habit to develop. Environmental collision also makes no logical sense in some areas, turning what should be simple tasks into pure frustration. The bounce pad and pole swinging mechanics are plain terrible, and I despise climbing the notoriously awful final level with every fiber of my being. At least it was adjusted to be easier in this port, which is about the only positive thing I can say regarding the gameplay. Why even suffer through it? All these years later, the game remains delightfully creative and funny. Most of the clever humor still holds up, it has overwhelmingly fantastic writing with superb voice performances, and the adorably quirky characters continue to charm the heck out of me (especially this little guy). Many of the level themes are very well-conceived, such as a giant strategy board game in the mind of a man who believes himself to be Napoleon Bonaparte. Practically every world is a novel experience, unique to the person's personality and problems. Beneath the jokes and cute veneer, Psychonauts deals with surprisingly grim subject matter. Characters have far more depth than they appear to initially, and uncovering their shockingly dark pasts was enough to leave my mouth agape when I first played this years ago. At times, the portrayal of mental illness is uncomfortable, with the game handling issues like suicide in a flippant manner, but Double Fine definitely meant well. While the painfully archaic design reminded me of why I usually hate 3D platformers, it was nice to visit these lovable characters again, and refresh my memory before the sequel. Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #73 - Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered Difficulty Rating 4/10 Enjoyment Rating 8/10 Uncommon - 22.77% I recently platinumed Modern Warfare 2 on PS3, so it should come as no surprise that my opinions and experience with the remaster would be pretty much the same as before. The only major differences between the two versions would be the lack of Spec Ops in the remaster, which was easily the toughest thing about the original. That was surely a platinum stopper for most people. For those not willing to go back to PS3, this remaster serves as a great alternative for those who want to relive the MW2 campaign in all it’s glory, now with better graphics and performance than ever before ? This version does have its share of tasks that could be hard for the average player, but nothing as frustrating as Spec Ops on Veteran. Most people dread over The Pit obstacle course and how there is a new trophy that wants your final time to be around 18 or 19 seconds I believe. It took me quite a while to get a feel for it, but after about 30 minutes to an hour, I cleared it quite easily. The trick is to use pistols for accuracy bonuses. Lining up your shots to shoot more than one target at a time also saves time. Memorization is key too, and it’s not as hard as one might think. The obstacle course doesn’t take too long and I would say the one from Modern Warfare 1 Remastered is a lot more tricky. Another trophy that is very different in the remaster is to beat every level without dying once. This is no Mein Leben from Wolfenstein II, don’t worry ? You can do one level at a time and choose Recruit difficulty to get the job done. You can’t reload back to a checkpoint either, gotta do the level in one fell swoop. The lack of Spec Ops also means the lack of competitive multiplayer as well. Which is very disappointing to someone like me who spent a great amount of time playing the original MW2 and wouldn’t have minded revisiting multiplayer without the hackers that now plague the original. Of course, Activision only sees dollar signs and probably wants to keep everyone confined to MW2019 or Black Ops Cold War so they’ll keep buying character and weapon skins ? Overall, MW2 Remastered is a $20 digital game on a normal day and may be more worth it in the future should it ever be updated with more features. Not counting on it, but one could hope ^^ Hurrah!
Popular Post AnonymousPLC1898
#49 Perfection Magus ( May-jus) a laughably easy grind may just feel weird as a game and gets boring very quickly, from the cover was expecting Skyrim type open-world RPG this isn't what I got, Magus is basically a shooter but with magic. Enemies put up no fight and fall like flies and honestly, this is a good thing here, the short game feels like it drags on forever you can obtain the Platinum in about 5 hours, by the end of your first hour though the thrill is gone, the game is just getting from point A to point B and read through boring and poorly written dialogue that doesn't fit the game's feel and shoot enemies along the way, at first sling these enemies are satisfying but as you progress and travel through the 5 different stages nothing changes but their skin. After you finish the stage you can go back at any time and farm enemies for trophies but you have to annoyingly complete all tasks again and unlock gates you've already unlocked making trophy grinding a nuisance there's loot in this game to add a small bit of immersion to dragging win, you get loot from the chest and enemies there are no weapons to collect in this game but there are various armours and gems you can collect to make your character stronger, if you come across a lesser item or duplicate you can break them down into Scrolls later on in the game and use these Scrolls that permanently increase your base stats which I found great increasing your base stats decrease your playtime and trust me before long you'll be racing to the end not even caring what's going around you. You can also decrease your playtime by levelling up in spending skill points in the skill tree, this "skill tree" is a bit odd as you can only have 3 on you at the time making the whole tree idea completely pointless, maybe these developers have never played an RPG but trees branch spread out to add not make you choose, but some of these skills are great such as speed to make your character run faster through the boring lifeless worlds or teleport to help your character get to the end of these boring lifeless worlds faster, you can also call the dead to help you but you have a trusty companion that does a pretty good job, better than companions in Uncharted games ? Magus is an easy game and easy platinum Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: Boring/10 Edited January 2, 2022 by AnonymousPLC69 Mistakes were made
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum 572: A Tale of Paper Difficulty: 2/10 Playtime: 1-2 hours Enjoyment: 7/10 DON'T YA KNOW ME? I'M YOUR PAPERBOY, THROWING BUNDLES OF NEWSPAPER JOY! THIS NEIGHBOURHOOD'S A LOONY BINNNNNN, I'D RATHER THROW THE NEWS IN COMPTON! Ooops, err, wrong paperboy... or more specifically, telepathic humanoid origami bunny man. It might be Frank from Donnie Darko, who knows? And, err, this is his tale, I guess? Oops, did I just assume the gender of a telepathic humanoid origami bunny creature? Whew, this year is starting off on the wrong foot... let's try this again: Ahem. A Cellulose Story is a slightly puzzley 2.5D platformer that sees you traversing a variety of environs on a heavily allegorical quest to somehow fulfill the dreams of your creator. If this doesn't strike you as the most original premise in the world... you wouldn't be wrong. But by way of impressive graphical fidelity and skillful art direction, it creates a pervasive atmosphere that makes it stand out among its peers. It's a shame the overly repetitive (and reverby) musical score isn't held to the same standard. Doesn't make it much further than distracting background noise. Gameplay is pretty fun, granting you a number of transformations with which to traverse and master your surroundings. The large field of view can sometimes make it difficult to see where you are in terms of depth, which combined with a shedload of thin plank-based platforms, can sometimes lead to not fun times. Largely though, it's pretty much a breeze mostly free of undue encumberance. Though a short experience, it strikes an admirable balance between telling a memorable tale, and avoiding the overstaying of its welcome. A balancing act that many before have failed, and many more will again. Definitely more than your average easy platinum game. There's potential here for greater things, and it's impressive to see what the devs achieved on a budget. Though I deem it somewhat more expensive than it's worth, at least the money will be going to people who could do good things with 'em. And hey, how many other games sees you jumpscared by a demonic Roomba?

Popular Post Viper
#211 Control Director of the FBC A little torn on this one. Didn't hate it...but didn't love it either. This is one of those scenario's where word of mouth hyped it up SOOOO much, that the game was absolutely nothing like I was expecting and I was a little let down. The gameplay is fun...but gets repetitive rather quick. And it feels a bit derivative...which I hate to harp on because, well, most games are. But again it was the hype and I don't feel like the gameplay backed it up. The story though is where the games loses major points for me...it's told in the worst way possible. At the very start of the game you're just thrust into the middle of this world and everything is in full swing and it's trying to tell you whats going on and how it all started as you progress. The problem is, you know nothing about this protagonist, you know nothing about this building you're in, and you know nothing about the enemies...for quite awhile, so you you're left just...not caring. The game doesn't give you a reason to give a shit about what you're doing and, I personally, find that to be a very important aspect of any game I play...you have to set me up right and this game didn't do that...I was never really immersed in it. Jesse Faden is a rather bland character, who just walks in and becomes the Director of the FBC for no reason, and every other character just accepts it. Such an odd plot point that is never really explained. You can learn a bit more if you're into reading a 100+ collectibles, but that gets tiring after awhile. On one hand with this not being the type of game I expected (I was expecting a very action movie type of blockbuster game), the more horror vibe it gave was nice, I'll give it that. And the gameplay was fun for the most part. But from uninteresting characters to a very backwards way to tell a story, I was never really involved in it and for that I can't give it much praise. But I think there's a decent base here for a much improved sequel...so I'd check that out.
