Popular Post Sora9427
Sly 2: Band Of Thieves (Vita Version) Unlikely BanditUnlock all Sly Cooper and the Band of Thieves Trophies A Game i know and love really really well! What to say, i played this game on Ps2, On Ps3 (Twice, One on this Account and one on Another account too) and now on Vita, i guess that's enough to say i love the Sly series? Such a great story and old school platform i always enjoy play it, i even go for the 100% even if bottles here aren't necessary in every Episode. I jjust didn't get every single item from the shop because i don't really want to go around farming money when here you can only do it with sly and with the RNG being you can find 3 guard with object close to each other or none in 3/4 of the map. Anyway, the plat is obviously pretty easy as everyone who plays it knows. On Vita it's a neat porting. Not perfect, expecially the reading of the buttons, you really have to press them down otherwise at times it just let you go for example with the paraglide/parachute Still it's pretty well done and it was nice playing again This game on a portable console and getting the trophies once more :3 It took waaay too much to finish this but well i basiclaly stopped playing it up until 2 weeks ago and i was at the start of episode 3, so yeah didn't play that much before. The Third one will wait a bit now! I wanna get back into more games on Vita i already started rather than starting a new one (even if it's not that long)
Popular Post Carol
#206 The Walking Dead: The Final Season The Final Season Completed The Walking Dead: The Final Season I finally had the chance to see how Clem's story ended. This game was decent, with some beautiful and intense moments. The conclusion of Clem and AJ's story was as happy as possible, considering their circumstances, and it did give me the closure that I needed. Joel and Ellie's story ended in such a sad way, that I am glad that Clem ended a little better (although I think this "happy" ending was a bit unrealistic, considering the events of the final episode, but whatever, it's fiction and I'm sure everyone wanted to see Clem alive at the end). Trophy-wise, the platinum was a little trickier than previous Telltale trophy lists, because there are some missable trophies. It is, therefore, advisable to follow a guide. A couple of missable trophies were a bit annoying, but nothing too bad. I honestly miss playing Telltale games, since they are so different from our "common" game and more focused on the narrative and choices. They are a nice change of pace. I do hope the company's revival brings us some new games.

Popular Post Yuuria_
#26 The Talos Principle This is definitely one of the best puzzle games I’ve ever played. Most puzzles are challenging but doable if you think it through enough, the greater challenge comes mostly from the Stars collectibles. The game is divided in hubs and each hub contains multiple areas which themselves contain multiple stand-alone levels; the thing with the Stars is that they force you to think outside the box and literally break the game by connecting objects from different levels and smuggling things between levels. The story is, surprisingly, really really good and really managed to make me feel and think about a lot of stuff. The potential detracting factor for some players is that most (not all) of the exposition is done not through dialogue but through long .txt files found at the various terminals across the game. However, to help mitigate the drop in interest that could comes with the high amount of reading the game usually gives a multitude of interaction options at the terminals, often leading to different outcomes. Time to Platinum: around 75 hours Difficulty: 6/10 Note that both Time and Difficulty may vary drastically from player to player based on puzzle solving skills and how often you end up using guides. I am personally a very stubborn player and only resorted to following YT solutions a handful of times. Fun fact: 9/10, the game always kept my interest very high and the puzzles were never unfair. Very recommended! Edited January 10, 2021 by Yuuria_

Popular Post Jermster_91
#64 Maneater A pretty easy platinum with a difficultly of 2 or 3. The biggest drawback to me was the repetitiveness of the game. Search for Crates, Landmarks and License Plates. Hunt X amount of Humans in a area, eat x amount of animals in a area, kill the apex predator. Overall it took me a little over 13 hours to get the platinum.
Popular Post flashpool23
Plat 159 - Bound by Flame For a game I had low expectations about, this surprised me a bit. Of course there's noticeable low budget moments and it's not all that diverse with choices, which rpgs are about, but combat is fun once it clicks for you. Except for the final boss. Worst boss ever. I'm not really recommending this but there's certainly worse ways to spend your time if you happen to play it. At least the concept was cool.

First time playing this game since I didn't play the PS3 version. I am grateful to have play this and now this adds to my other souls game I've platted! Atmosphere was great and gameplay was smooth! The plat did take 60 hours for me which is considered normal for souls games. Now I have all Soulsborne plats except DS2! Maybe one day I will play it since I am missing out lol.

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #574: Difficulty: 2/10 Playtime: 3-4 hours Enjoyment: 5.5/10 The grim spectre of Death itself (hey, I'm not about to assume Death's gender, 'kay?) has come to the quiet retirement village of, umm, Shady Valley or whatever it was... and they ain't here to collect something normalish like stamps, unopened sets of Sylvanian Families, or decanters shaped like Elvis out of whose neckhole you drink. Nope, Death wants SOULS... and, uhh, West Hangleton is full of 'em. But, for no real reason, Death, in its unending magnanimity, allows the residents a chance to--ahem--Dodge their Coffins so long as they can beat him in an elimination-style kart racing tournament! As you do. So basically what I'm saying is, it's another mediocre Mario Kart bootleg. Right, so my first impression of the game is that it must have been programmed by actual senior citizens with calcified ear canals and that, because it has easily the loudest default audio output levels I have ever heard in a game! Even lowering it to level 2 doesn't help much. Under those circumstances, the game is actually pretty good, considering the programmers probably worked on it for three hours a day at best (half of which was spent on the toilet because the human body has some serious design flaws, akin to this very game). Even though this is completely conjectural bullshit to pad out my mini-review here, I'll give 'em an extra half a rating point anyways, 'cause I'm just a wild and crazy guy, I guess! So yeah, it's a janky mess. The controls and physics have no finesse or learning curve to 'em... best you can do is to avoid crashing into things, because, as there is no rubber banding whatsoever, so long as you can just keep your speed up, you'll win 9.93 times out of ten without your competition anywhere in sight when you reach the finish line. Of course, being as this is a broken mockery of good design, this swings the other way as well. Should you fall behind early in the race, you'll have a tough time catching up, and if you're unlucky with what pickups you get, you're unlikely to stand a chance however well you play. Said pickups, too, are largely unreliable; the Uzi in particular has a large chance of not even registering hits when you use it. Oh yeah, and to prevent "cheating", the game doesn't allow you to restart a race, as such... but it does allow you to quit and redo it that way. I know it's easy to miss a spot check or two or twenty-three with deflicted ancient eyes and all that, but, bruh. There's also an EXP system that I never could figure out whether actually had any kind of effect on the game. Best things I can say about it is, it's fun to try and wipe out your competitors with your cane at the start of a race, and on the rare occasions you get zombies in a level (there is no discernible rhyme or reason to 'em) it can be a bit of a dopamine rush to try and run over or shoot them... they result in tons of the aforementioned useless EXP points! As a bit of a crescendo to this game's generally gormless nature... Death will usually comment on your race performance in terms most belligerent. When you play as Death during your second story run, they do the exact same still! Who knew Death was so mercilessly self-critical? It verges on the depressing; almost feel bad for giving them the worst day on the job ever. In summation... on a scale of racing games from The Zoo Race (look it up; thank me later) to Mario Kart, this is about as dead-center middling as you can get. If you're not in it for the trophies (slightly grindier than they need be, but quick and easy overall) you're best served just letting this one rest, in peace. And even if you are, please wait for a sale... these old folks have no use for money anyways; they actually had good and feasible retirement plan arrangements back in their younger days! Haha, we're so screwed, guys! ?

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#344 - Catherine: Full Body A Full-Bodied Wine Toast Earn all other trophies! This is actually my 4th Catherine plat now. It's the first time I've played Full Body in English though, so I'll mostly just focus on what was new for me. While I got the gist of what was happening during the new content when playing in Japanese, it was nice to finally grasp it fully. I think I can confidently say now that Rin's route is my favourite of the lot. It's so absurd, I love it! ? The new endings in the other routes were a nice addition too though. Full Body is an amazing re-release overall, packed with lots of new content and gameplay improvements. It took what was already one of my all-time favourite games and made it even better. I always find myself coming back to Catherine regardless of trophies. But speaking of, I have one more version of the game to plat before I've completed them all, and that's the Chinese version. I already imported that version of the game - it's sitting on my shelf. Not planning on playing it anytime soon, but one day, the plat will be mine... ?

Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #74 - BlazBlue: Central Fiction Difficulty Rating 5/10 Enjoyment Rating 6/10 Ultra Rare - 3.60% Ugh, BlazBlue... lmao ? Okay, so this one the first games I picked up when I bought my PS4 Pro. This is because I have a local friend who is super competitive at this game, so I took it upon myself to try and get better so I can hold my own against him. While I’m more of a Guilty Gear fan myself, he seems to be more into BlazBlue (can’t imagine why ?) So we usually would end up arguing on what fighting game to play. I’m better at Guilty Gear, he’s better at BlazBlue. Which one is the better game? That’s subjective I suppose... both are solid fighters even if Toshimichi Mori can’t write. But stories in fighting games are usually an afterthought, even if this game’s story is treated seriously to match that of a visual novel. But it is a story I’ve been following since 2009 when Calamity Trigger released. BlazBlue games have always been dubbed, except this one which is the final mainline entry that concludes the “oh-so-great-wonderful story.” To not dub the last game, like what the actual fuck? And those story modes can take days to finish they go on for so long. They even had the nerve to dub Cross Tag Battle which came out after this one. Eh, it is what it is... story is crap anyway, and I just play it for the fighting now. It has taken me nearly 4 years complete this.. so what took me so long? Numerous things actually. The game has your typical fighting game trophy list with many miscellaneous tasks involving characters, fighting online and ones that require playing certain modes. There are three trophies tied to modes that will be platinum stoppers for most. The first is combo challenge, and is what stumped me for many years. Well, maybe not stumped.. but I lacked the extreme patience to complete all combos with one character to pop the trophy. It takes lots of willpower for those who are no good at inputting a list of on-screen prompts that fill half your TV screen. Thankfully, there is a nifty glitch that makes the game think you are completing harder combo challenges when really you’re just redoing the normal difficulty ones. I may or may not of used that glitch The second obstacle is Abyss Mode, which is like a psuedo-RPG survival mode where you need to fight your way down 800 floors. The trophy requires you to reach the bottom. You checkpoint at every 100 floors and can replay old ones for better tomes that make your character stronger. I picked Mai Natsume and spammed her rapid spear jabbing move that comes from pressing constantly ? The AI has a hard time countering this. With patience, it can be done... but the hardest mode of all would be Speedstar Mode. In Speedstar Mode, you have unlimited health but are on a time limit to defeat the amount of opponents you are given. You must clear all three routes for the trophy. Route C is the worst, cause you have to fight 32 opponents which have all been given boss status. It’s as miserable as it sounds. Time is your enemy here. You need to make sure you regain time back, or keep it from going any lower to reach the end. How do you do that? First, don’t get hit.. it takes away time. To get time, you perform fancy crap like distortion finishers, overdrive finishers or astral finishers if your heat gauge and/or barrier gauge is high enough. Since the AI is out to make your life a living hell, I often read that reverting the game back to version 1.00 makes the AI dumber... but I didn’t see much of a difference myself. I still did it anyways just in case. I recommend using Iron Tager cause he deals great amounts of damage and one of his distortion finishers is a grab move that makes it impossible for the AI to block. You just need to be close enough to do it. By selecting “stylish” as your method of play from the character select, that will make performing finishers much easier instead of needing to input the whole command from playing on “technical.” There is also a special move Tager can spam that gives him invisibility frames and makes it hard for the AI to knock you back. I think this video will show exactly what you should be aiming for. Anyway, yeah, I’m done, plat is mine, never again ? Long live Guilty Gear!
Popular Post snakebit10
The Whole World Went Away #333 I bought this way back. I don't even remember how long ago. Always did interest me but never started it. Back in December I really started thinking about playing it. I had asked @DamagingRob what Co Op/Mp games he had and I told him what I had. He said he was interested in this and bought it on one of the holiday sales. SO there you have it. Most know the story by now. You are on a Island when an outbreak of Zombies start and you play as one of 4 characters trying to escape the island. Honestly to me the story was kind of underwhelming. On the plus side is was a ton of fun playing it in Co op. If I had to play alone for most the game I don't know if I would of finished. Trophy wise it is a lot of grinding mostly but not to difficult. A couple trophies seemed intimidating at first but there are easy ways to obtain them. It was a good romp and happy to have the platinum. Oh yeah, I want to thank the different randoms whose game we joined just so we could get those trophies. If you find you a good Co op partner give a go. Just 1 DLC trophy left and it will be at 100% Thanks again to @DamagingRob for the help along the way, and being a great Co OP partner.
Popular Post postofficebuddy
Platinum #126: Samurai Shodown Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I’m on a bit of a fighting game kick. This is my second fighting game plat in a row. Previous one was Skullgirls 2nd Encore which was way way harder than this. I thought gauntlet mode would prove to be at least somewhat of a challenge but it really wasn’t. I beat it on my second try. As is the case with most FGs the story is rubbish. I like the concept of a mostly footsie based fighting game with ultra high damage attacks. Too bad the online is a horrible laggy mess. Although there are rumors that they’ll be adding rollback with the season 3 update.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#499- Dead Island: Definitive Edition The Whole World Went Away Collect all other trophies. Well, Snakebit told you how this started. Lol. Considered buying it before, but didn't think it would be fun to play alone. May do Riptide eventually, too. But I don't think it will be for awhile.. Game does get a bit repetitive, and I have had my fill for now. Like Snake said, the story was underwhelming. I didn't really care about anyone in the game, other than my walking storage container. Why storing items was like this, I'll never know. Means you could only store them where she was, and sometimes there wasn't a shop nearby. A problem when you wanted to dupe and sell weapons. Of course, later on I found there is an actual storage container in the arena. But I didn't visit that until after beating the game.. An island full of zombies co-op romp, that is pretty fun. But it does have some bugs here and there, and the A.I. isn't always that bright. :/ But yes, shout out to @snakebit10 for playing through the entire game with me, and surviving my terrible driving. And the randoms to, I suppose. Though I think one may have been a troll, and we were forced to kick him.
Popular Post RuNNinG-sCaRe_D
Platinums #152 & 153# - South Park: The Stick of Truth - Cyberpunk 2077 South Park: The Stick of Truth feels like a long TV-Episode: It's very detailed and has good humour. I really enjoyed this game. I hope "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" can fascinate the same, even if it's from a different developer... Platinum wasn't hard, but you can miss some trophies, so better look into a guide. I played "Cyberpunk 2077" on my PS4 Pro with Patch 1.06. It's not polished yet, but it's enjoyable on this version. Besides crashes after every 2-3 hours i only had a few bugs, that stopped me from progressing with a mission. Like "Ring the doorbell , so Judy opens the door for you"-task. I have the quest-marker on the minimap, but can't click on the bell. Reloading my savegame solved always these problems. Graphics are good for this "older" console, wasn't "ugly". Texture loading issues were rare for me. The game itself has it's problems. I don't like the loot-system: Loot everywhere, even money is lying around everywhere. It feels like the devs just throw it in to fill buildings and streets. Equipiment ist'n fun, because you find every 20min a better weapon with 2dmg or protection more. Skills aren't thought trough partly: I can unlock a skill that protects me from being spotted from enemies when i am under water. There is no Mission where you need that... The gameplay was solid for me. My highlights are the good written missions (Sinnerman, River Ward's Sidemissions...). I hope the devs polish the game, how it should be at release and the comming dlc has the same quality in story-telling. Platinum is a 3/10 for me, It has no difficulty-trophy. Just look into a guide which trophies are missable and keep it in mind (Body-attribute needs 16 points for a trophy, Tech 18 points, 1 Attribute needs 20 points and needs to bee maxed out by using (so use it from start to end or you'll have to grind a long time at the end...), different endings that also need successful completion of sidemissions (Panam, Rogue) or sidemissions which have their own trophies and can be missed.
