Popular Post its_ArchroniX
This War of Mine: The Little Ones Epilogue: This War of Mine: The Little Ones - 0.9% on Console - 5.65% on PSN What's next? What do we do? Where do we go? Overall some pretty easy and straightforward trophies with some incredible exceptions with the last few trophies I had to get. The 'Miraculous recovery', 'Patched up and ready to go', 'We made a stand' and 'School of Life' trophies were pretty hard and took me several tries. Despite those I found it a very fun and entertaining little survival game. Not the easiest platinum trophy ever but definitely worth a try!

OverlordOfRacing
Haven't posted on this forum it awhile, however my last two platinums were Rocket League and Gravel. Rocket League took me about four days to completly 100%, while Gravel was in my backlog that I was cleaning up. Currently im doing another backlog game, Ducati. Popular Post Ghost
difficulty rating 2/10 Fun factor 6/10 Spoiler Favorite weapon: Electric Whip Total play hours: 40 I enjoyed playin this. The option to save the game whenever you want helped a lot, especially during the boss battles. There was points where I made mistakes like facing Conjuctivius with 4 boss cells or picking up weapons that were low tier. Hardest part was finishing the game with four boss cells active. Some enemies and the Hand of the King were pretty frustrating. The best loadout for me was the electric whip, lightning bolt, ice grenade and the wolf trap: staying a distance from the enemies so you don't get hit and it helped a lot with the flying enemies. *Highly recommend it if you're into roguelike action type games* Spoiler Edited January 27, 2021 by Ghost
Popular Post Sardavanua
#175 - Final Fantasy X HD This is my story! Finally. Finally I managed to get into FF X HD. The countless times I've started this game and just never returned to it are finally over. The game never really hooked me before, until I started a new game last December and wow... I don't know what happend, but I just couldn't stop playing this game anymore. And I'm so glad about that, because FFX is indeed really amazing. The story of FF X is, if you think about it, a tragic one. Not because of the Spira is danger and Sin destroys everything thingie, that's a neat idea and all, but I'm talking about everything that happend to Tidus. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll leave it here, but seriously wtf. What a poor guy he is. I've read quite a bunch of negative comments on Tidus annoying and childish behaviour. Peolple tend to forget that he is actually more of a child than an adult and I don't think he was annoying at all, for me his actions and reactions were more than understandable and I really felt for him. He will definetly remain in my top 3 FF characters for some time. Yuna was also a very interesting character, although I feel like she didn't grow up as much throughout the story as Tidus did. Next one: Auron. What a douche. I love him. Wakka: Eh. Yes I liked him, but eh. Lulu: Yes! But not enough focus on her sadly. Rikku: One very likeable character, but I never understood if she's supossed to be a child or not. Reminded me alot on Vanille from FF XIII. Last but not least, Kimarhi: Ugh! No. Just no. The music had it's moments, like the music is constantly fitting and all, but there were not enough tracks that blew me away. I only added 4 tracks to my game OST playlist this time, which is not alot for a FF imo. But the music was never bad or anything. It was good but not out of this world. Also do yourself a favor and pick the Arranged one if you're playing with headphones. The graphics still look very nice and I totally fell in love with the artstyle, there was never a single occursion where I thought: "Wow, this doesn't look good at all." The CGI scenes are freaking amazing. There should've been way more if you ask me, but hey. So far FF X had the potential to become my favorite Final Fantasy game, but besides the story the game is filled with utter bs. Like how did they manage to put so many unfun and frustrating things in just one single game? I don't even mind all the side stuff, because you simply don't have to do it at all. There's absolutely no need to do any stuff besides the main quest, UNLESS you want to play the late game. Guess what, pretty much every single late game key item is locked behind some stupid side quest activity crap, that takes hours to complete, including alot of luck and pointless waiting, because they didn't put in a freakin restart mechanic for anything of that. The chocobo race. OH MY GOD THE CHOCBO RACE. I was aware of it before starting the game for the first time, but unless you played it yourself for once you ain't got no clue how bad it is. Butterfly colllect bs. Chocobo race at the temple bs where you litteraly have to restart about 10 - 25 times until the AI gets a time you can actually beat. Lightning dodge bs with insane input delay. The cactuar quest. Press f for all those poor souls who did this quest without a No Encounter equipment piece. And the worst of all sport minigames. Blitzball. Did I mind the blitzball game in the story? Yes. Did I ask for like 40 more matches that take up to 10 min each later on? NO. The arena on the other hand was fine for me, many people complained about the capturing, but I did enjoy returning to all the areas. So yeah I liked that part. There's one last thing I want to add. I don't get the idea of placing the dark aeons in certain spots to lock certain areas for the late game. Why not put them in the respective temples for example so players can return wherever they want and collect their stuff so they can actually get to point of beating them? I just don't get it. Difficulty: 4/10 ( would have been a 3 without the race) Enjoment Story: 9/10 Enjoyment Platinum: 4/10 Time spent: 140hrs
WishingLemon
#23 Return of the Obra Dinn A lot of fun once your eyes adjust. I tried to do it myself for a few hours, got impatient and used a guide. I hope they make another game but in a new setting, I'd be all over that. #24 The Bunker Got this one because I liked the plat image lol And it worked as a good palette cleanser after the slightly longer plats. Never played an FMV game before and it was an interesting experience. That ending though, what a bitch. #25 True Fear - Forsaken Souls Dat blurry trophy image. Picked this one up because I like hidden object games and this one and it's sequel have a much lower completion percentage (10%) than Artifex Mundi games. Also it being horror themed pulled me to it after slowly jumpscaring my way through Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story on Steam. I'm done with horror for a while now.
Popular Post Duffcar
#150 - Fallout 4 The first PS4 game I actually purchased, 4 years and 7 months later and I've finally gone back and dusted off the pearly platinum and 100%. What started as me trying to get the flow of the game quickly turned into over 130 hours of running around the Commonwealth wasteland completing random quests or seeking certain objects or enemies to fight. Glad to finally have this game completed, particularly as a milestone to remind me of all my fond memories with this game.

Popular Post DefinitiveTJ
Kinda went through a time where no game really grabbed me the past two months but I decided to go through some quick experiences to get in the groove again. Platinum 81: Raging Loop Currently my fastest platinum, so no I didn't read through it all of it. It became a weird puzzle for me to unlock the complete timeline of the story with all the different endings. I'm probably gonna go back to this one cause I really liked the style of the game. Platinum 82 & 86: Root Letter and Root Letter Last Answer I did really like these games (otherwise I wouldn't have played the expanded edition) but technically it was really rough. With both games I experienced game breaking bugs that resulted in hours of lost progress. With better save management I got through it but it did hamper my enjoyment of these games quite a bit. Platinum 83 & 84: Steins Gate 0 & Chaos Child & Both excellent visual novels, all I can say is that if you are on the fence then just try them. Platinum 85: Super Night Riders Man this one blew up in my face. I bought it in the sale for cheap and thought that it was a fast platinum, which it would've been if I was actually good at it. It's a simple arcade style game where you are on a bike and have to dodge other drivers. The key is that in the corners the drivers are hard to spot and some stages (a lot of them) are in the dark which makes it even harder. The trick is to actually keep tapping the gas button so you can make the corners more easily but it kept being a challenge. So yes, in the end it took me about 8 hours to complete it which is not fast at all. Although I did enjoyed my time with it and it became addicted for some time but I'm happy that this curse has lifted. Popular Post MidnightDragon
#63 Donut County This was a fun and easy game. I thought the mechanic of sucking everything through a hole in the ground was quite interesting. It's short and sweet. If you miss anything, you can replay any levels after you complete the game.
Popular Post StewartBros
# 167 Platinum Trophy Unlock all other trophies "Uphold the principles of our order and all that for which we stand, never share our secrets nor divulge the true nature of our work. Do so, until death - whatever the cost. This is my new creed. I am Shay Patrick Cormac, Templar of the Colonial.... of the American rite." I played Rogue about 5 years ago, back on PS3, and decided that enough time had passed for me to play the Remastered version now I still enjoyed it - the story is too short, and could really have been done with being longer, but Shay's story arc was still pretty good. It features several characters from AC III and IV, and somewhat ties into the very beginning of AC Unity when you start the final mission. The naval combat is pretty much the same as in AC IV, though Shay does have a few new moves and weapons when on land. I did experience numerous graphical glitches during play, such as enemies getting stuck within objects in the environment, one character failing to load in during a cutscene (resulting in Shay talking to thin air and said thin air talking back to him ?), and even falling through the map when I was inside one of the caves, resulting in my having to exit and reload the game, but none of these were especially problematic. I still have assorted collectibles to locate, side missions to do, and some naval routes to unlock, so I'll get those done even though I already platted the game. Earning a platinum is no reason to immediately stop playing a game that you enjoy.
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #75 - Persona 5 Royal Difficulty Rating 4/10 (Normal difficulty) Enjoyment Rating 10/10 Uncommon - 40.27% I have been saving this one for quite a while. It was the perfect game to end the year with and choose for my 75th platinum milestone ? Even though I’ve played various titles in the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, the only other Persona game I’ve played is Persona 4 Golden. That was the right game at the right time for me, so naturally my expectations for Persona 5 Royal were high. Especially cause many consider it to be game of the decade material. Did it disappoint? Absolutely not! Even if there are some things I like more about P4G, I can say with full confidence that P5R is objectively the better game. It took me longer to beat in a single playthrough as well, but more on that later. I have to be very careful what I say, I don’t want to spoil anything for those who haven’t played this masterpiece yet. I avoided spoilers myself for so long and went into it completely blind. That is how it should be experienced. A lot of the tension and excitement comes from watching the story unfold with its many twists and turns. A lot of people may find turned based RPGs to be boring, but P5R makes that type of combat fun, fast and engaging for the player. Gratification doesn’t come at a constant rate though, and you really have to use your abilities and buffs correctly to overcome the challenges ahead. This is all me playing on normal difficulty, which the game doesn’t require you to do for the platinum trophy... But at the same time, you don’t want to rush the experience or make it piss easy either Otherwise, you’d be doing this game a great injustice by rushing it. Everyone is probably aware of P5R and how it operates if only vaguely. But for those who still don’t know, to sum it up quickly.. it’s a turned based RPG where you take on dungeons as the story progresses. That’s what makes up the core gameplay. In between those segments, you live a regular student life making friends, doing activities and upgrading social stats as well as relationships with others that could have an impact on how much easier your dungeon crawling experience can become. You play day by day and your time is very limited. Choose your decisions wisely! The platinum journey for this iteration of P5 is very simple. I can almost say you don’t even need a guide to help shorten your gameplay time. It is not the trophy struggle that P4G or P5 Vanilla is. That said, I’ve never played P5 Vanilla, but I can see myself playing it in the future and having a pretty easy time since I know the game pretty well after playing P5R ? Sure, there is still a few things you could probably miss, and yet none of it should take you very far off the beaten path. The road to the platinum is a pretty straightforward one, which is a bit disappointing considering the game has so much more to offer the player than what the trophy list entails. You may be wondering if I stuck to the beaten path and went straight for the platinum. Hell no! I took my dear sweet time with this one and experienced nearly everything it had to offer me! The trophy list doesn’t make you do this for P5R, but I maxed out all confidants in the game.. which can result in fully completing the compendium if you so choose. Which I did, 100% compendium right here, baby ? My entire playthrough from beginning to end clocked in at 161 hours.. which is nearly double the time than what most trophy guides estimate for completing this version of the game. I understand some people may have already played P5 Vanilla and don’t really need to see a lot of this content again, but for those playing for the first time and starting with P5R.. I cannot stress enough that you should indulge in everything this gem can throw at you. A phenomenal game indeed ? And with SMT Nocturne and SMT V right around the corner, the ATLUS train of goodness won’t stop chugging for a long while ?

Popular Post StraightVege
Sustain Forest Love Iron out all the trophies #256 | Fe Unexpectedly good! I sat down intending to play only a couple of hours, but was so captivated that I ultimately finished the entire story in one sitting. Typically, I don't get along well with 3D platforming, but Fe was so thoroughly endearing that I could ignore some issues which would usually frustrate far more. The camera and controls can definitely cause trouble, and there are frequent performance snags such as hitching, but the fact that I couldn't put it down must speak well of the game regardless. Bipedal invaders called 'The Silent Ones" are capturing all of the animals, and as a clever fox-like being, your mission is to rescue them and restore the forest's integrity. There's an obvious allegory here about humans destroying the natural world, but the story isn't as simple as it appears on the surface. To succeed, you'll need to communicate with other animals, by synchronizing your voice with theirs: gradually press the R2 trigger, until your pitch matches the creature you're speaking with, and they'll be more than happy to help you, or even teach you their language. The little singing voices are so quirky; I love them. Don't yell, though, or you'll scare off a potential friend! This delightfully simple mechanic isn't just charming, it's necessary to solve puzzles that block the way forward. If you can't open those bouncy plants, try politely asking a lizard. That proud owl might carry you across the chasm, too, if you're nice about it. Eventually, you'll learn a collection of different animal dialects, and progression becomes more complex. There's a great moment when... Spoiler you encounter more of your own fox race for the first time. If you can manage to chase them along the treetops and playfully tackle them, you'll be able to sync voices, and they'll excitedly follow you around, chattering in your language. Discovering this through natural gameplay—rather than a forced cutscene or objective—made it all the more affecting. How adorable; I can't believe this game almost made me cry! One problem which did sour the experience a bit was my intermittent confusion in navigating the environment. The game has an attractive and unique crystalline aesthetic, featuring a lot of shiny purples. Pretty, but it can make seeing the path forward and locating collectibles difficult sometimes, because things blend together. You can call a bird to guide you whenever the need arises, but this doesn't work very well, since birds are also hard to see against the world, and they move too quickly to keep track of. I don't want to be dependent on a navigation-assist function, anyway (reminds me of the omniscient objective line in Dead Space). Good level design should make enough sense to imply where to go next. It's not a huge issue in Fe, though; more of an occasional annoyance. Although the game is well-paced, I finished it long before unlocking all the abilities, making shard collection largely pointless, beyond earning the related trophy. Only tree climbing and glide are really required to see the story to its conclusion, and scouring the maps for remaining collectibles in the post-game wasn't exactly fun, I must say. This aspect could have been thought-out a lot better. Fe may be slightly rough around the edges, with some technical hiccups, but it's an exceedingly pleasant game about gentle communication and cooperation, that somehow manages to be cute while maintaining a somber atmosphere. I think it's an underrated gem, and more than justifies paying a dollar for EA Play all by itself. All that said, I do imagine Fe could have achieved something even greater with additional development time. Popular Post Cal
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered. 46th Platinum Well this was a trip down memory lane felt like a teen playing this all over again, still one of the best COD campaigns in my opinion and this trophy list had a decent set of them. I love how the game looked and ran it was all so smooth and I love the little attention to details in this remastered that wasn't in the original game, Veteran difficulty was still a pain in the backside I personally never found the Veteran difficulty's in COD games to be hard they are just annoying and frustrating if anything and they add no real challenge to them they just turn the enemies into Terminators and shoot you the minute you show up in their vision and you have hardly anytime to react to them so you just end up dying and restarting from the checkpoint. The Immortal trophy also gave me problems, it wasn't popping up for me so I ended having to delete my current save file and start fresh replaying the entire campaign making absolutely sure I didn't die and thankfully you can beat the campaign in like 3 hours or less so it wasn't to much of a hassle. Also the missions Takedown and The Hornets Nest can still go F themselves hated them in the original and still hated them in the remastered, still looking forward to the MW3 Remastered!

Reminded me of some old school platforming games. The platinum itself is not insanely difficult, although some trophies can be a bit of a grind. As with any platformer this game also suffers from some unlucky chosen camera angles, which make you unintentionally miss gaps or jumps. Still I had a great time playing this game and recommend everyone to pick it up.

rjkclarke
#301 Queen's Quest 3: The End Of Dawn (PS4) Needed something a bit relaxing after grinding through hours of the same game mode on Pure Pool. This certainly was relaxing. I tend to compare Artifex Mundi games to take away food or a familiar meal that you enjoy eating but couldn't eat every day. It is a bit lame but that is the best analogy I could come up with for games made by this developer. I'll be honest though, this game isn't too far outside of the usual formula that most of the other Artifex Mundi titles I have played tend to stick to. You at least know what you are going to get. I don't think this is an improvement on Queen's Quest 2. That game has a fairly unique approach to the formula, adding a few gameplay elements that change things up a bit. I did have a lot of fun with Queen's Quest 3 though, if you like Artifex Mundi titles like I do ( They have some very impressive artistry in them, especially My Brother Rabbit). You are probably going to like this one too. Just don't expect a really intricate meaningful narrative, because I don't think you will find one. But it is a nice chilled out relaxing experience. I think people know what to expect with these titles so I won't really mention the trophies apart from the fact this can be played on casual mode so you can go nuts clicking X all over the screen without worrying about the screen going blurry and your character going "ahh my head hurts". Funny thing is though, I think originally I picked up the Queen's Quest games because I wanted a platinum beginning with Q (bit weird I know) plus there isn't a whole lot of choice in that area haha!
