Popular Post Canario1988
Hi everyone!! Here I come with my first 2021 plats: #155 Assassins Creed: Valhalla Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 As a big fan of the AC series I really love how Ubi changed the progression system and the game itself to be like a soft RPG. The game is very long, but I really enjoyed it. #156 Gravity Rush 2 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 I played the first game while searching on PS Now for a plattform & adventures game and I was very surprised of the game and really enjoyed it. After that, I started with GR 2 which was also good, but I liked more the old one. Edited January 31, 2021 by Canario1988
Popular Post Shrooba
Platinum #41 - Bye Bye, Xenoverse Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 To my surprise, despite this being a game released in late 2016, with several newer DB games released since then, this is still receiving new updates and characters to this very day! The amount of support put into this game is something I didn't expect, but something I welcome a lot. This particular game is one of my favourite Dragon Ball games due to the amount of content there is to get into. You've got 100 side quests in the main game, a cool premise behind the main story with being able to see the history of events in different scenarios, expert missions, and tons of moves you can apply to your very own custom character! With DLC added, you've got a ton more characters to fight alongside you, and even more side quests on top of the 100 you can tackle already. Another new feature is the Hero Colosseum, a neat mode in the game where you can fight in figure battles based on many of the DB characters. My big criticism here however is that getting specific figures requires a lot of RNG; it's pretty much out of your control as to what figures you get. As a result, you'll find yourself spending quite a while grinding TP Medals so you can beat all the Free Battles. Despite this however, Xenoverse 2 is very fun and is a fantastic game! Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 (mostly a 3/10 but the Hero Colosseum and Expert Mission 15 bring this up just a bit)

Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#68: Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 Rarity: 12,59% Back when I was a kid, the PS2 version of this game was the first PEGI 16 game I owned. From the darker settings the game had compared to Sands Of Time, the metal music in the main menu and the great ass shot in the beginning of the game, I felt like a badass for owning it. I really liked it as a kid, but never got far. So as an adult I was really excited to play the game againd and finish it. But man, I hate this game. From the countless bugs to the enemies that hit way to hard. I was just getting angrier and angrier, like the prince in this game. But first some positives. I like the dual wielding mechanic of the game, even though weapons break to quick. And the hidden weapons are mostly fun to use and add some humour to the game. I also liked the soundtrack. Some of the platforming bits and the moves of the Prince I really liked. And the story was not bad in my opinion. But all the rest is just way to hard or just bugs out. Like the secret end boss. I did him on hard and he was really hard. When I finally hit him to like 0 health he bugged out, got half his health back and my hits did not register anymore. You also repeat a lot of the same areas, which makes the game a real slog to play. The most fun I had with this game was when I played this game on easy for my collectibles. Yes the stupid combat was to easy but it was more fun. And this is way I'm so angry with this game. This could have been a great sequel to Sands Of Times, but instead we got a frustrating mess. And also, I always tought that the Prince wore glaives on the box. So I was really excited as a kid to use them. Turned out it were no glaives but just swords and I completly gave up on this game. #69: Witching Tower (EU version) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8,5/10 Rarity: 15,91% I bought this VR game in the recent January sale after seeing the trailer. The Witching tower is a game that contains puzzles and combat and like the title says a tower. You play as Anna, a girl that is trapped inside the tower of the evil queen. It's your job to escape the tower, and figure out what the plan of the evil queen is. Off all the VR games I played, this one gave me some trouble with my setup. Items were to low on the ground to grab them. So while i was trying to configure everything right, I got dizzy and got a headache. But aside from that, it was a short, fun adventure. Some of the puzzles made me think and while a little bit buggy (like hits from me or the enemy not registering), the combat was for the most part fun. In the last levels you can start to take over enemies and use them for puzzle solving or for fighting. You can also use traps to your advantage to kill enemies. This game can be a little pain with the items low on the floor or having trouble registering your moves, but I had fun with it. But don't buy it at full price, it's really short. Great for a quick VR platinum.

Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
# 39 - Dark Cloud Difficulty - 2/10 Enjoyment - 6/10 I'd always meant to do this game, especially once I got the plat for Dark Cloud 2 some time ago. I have an affinity for the ps2 games that helped keep me into gaming as a kid, and I think Sony did a good thing in having some of the ps2's library find its way onto the ps4 with trophy support - even though they stopped woefully short of comprehensive. I actually never played this game on ps2 but I sure played Dark Cloud 2, and I think to this day that DC2 is one of the greatest games ever released. I figured that this game was gonna feel to me like a worse version of DC2 but that it would still be worth playing, and it was on both fronts. Before I got my first trophy I actually decided not to go for it, since the game played so incredibly dated, but what was there to expect; It's almost 20 years old. But you get used to the controls and actually come to enjoy them, or I did anyway since it still felt like DC2. If you look at the lists for Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 the disparity in rarity is comical, especially considering both games have a nearly identical amount of players. There are a lot of reasons for that which I believe I am more than qualified to address (see; complain about DC2's trophy list), but the long and short of it is that not only does Dark Cloud have a much easier list, and is a shorter game with less mechanics to put trophy requirements on, but there is a glitch you can do to hilariously trivialize the only "grindy" trophies in the game. The glitch gives you infinite money, maxed out weapons which you otherwise would NEVER be able to get, and lets you buy anything you want all the time. Without the glitch I do think the rarity for this game would be much rarer, but I don't care. The fishing trophy sucked nuts, as all fishing trophies do, it honestly brought this game down for me but I would have given it a 6 anyway probably, which isn't a bad score imo, it means it's above average. Probably not a game anyone would play if they didn't have an attachment to the Dark Cloud series or Level-5 as devs, both of which informed my decision to play this. Another ps2 artifact collected on my account.

Popular Post Leon Castle
#192 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 31st Jan 2021 The first Witcher game to be on consoles while it's the 3rd game in the The Witcher series that was before Wild Hunt PC only. What got me interested in this game(and in the end the series) was that Geralt of Rivia is a Guest Character in Soulcalibur VI(and is the only Guest Character in Soulcalibur so far to be canon). #193 Valkyria Chronicles 31st Jan 2021 The remaster of the first game in the Valkyria Chronicles series. I hope that Valkyria Chronicles 2 & 3 can get a remaster or something one day(mostly I hope for the 3rd game)

Popular Post Sylvanticore
#13 - Panzer Dragoon Remake : Panzer Dragoon Panzer Dragoon the original was one of those games I loved when it was originally released on the Sega Saturn all those years ago and when I heard there was going to be a remake released I couldn't wait for it, however today for many people the length of the game (Average around 40-50 minutes per run) and the lack of any other game modes + the price tag will put people off. However the thing that was most annoying with this game if you are a trophy collector is the final one before the plaitnum which is the Lifeless trophy that requires you to have 100+ hours on the ingame timer, that wouldn't be too bad if there was things to do however due to the lack of anything other than the same 50 minutes you played before there isn't much to do. For this trophy alone I had to leave my PS4 turned on all night for the last week as well as during the day if I was busy and only took breaks for some other games when I was bored. Reason being is you can leave the game on the main menu for all of those hours but you do have to play the game every so often to make sure that timer sticks, I once left it on all night, turned my PS4 off in the morning and found the timer had not gone up.

Popular Post Warpedsavior
#260 Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots The Legendary Hero Obtained all trophies. After 9 playthroughs later(mainly because I messed up my first playthrough emblem wise), Metal Gear Solid 4 is now complete. I really enjoyed my time with this game, barring the emblem playthroughs which required different amounts of kills, alerts, and continues. The Big Boss Emblem playthrough was certainly a challenge but not as bad as I thought except for certain parts. Next game I play in the Metal Gear series is probably going to be Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance before Metal Gear Solid 5. Though that's for the far future.

Popular Post TheArcadeKid
#195 - Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (PS4) This game slightly overstayed its welcome, but only slightly. For the most part, it was extremely rewarding - and it's been great to revisit the game after ten years, which is when I last played it on PS3. The only drawbacks were a handful of 100% sync requirements (timed missions especially!), and just the sheer volume of content. I started Brotherhood right after AC II, so yeah, I was a little fatigued by the end of it. That said, it's straight onto Revelations.

Popular Post freddie1989
#163 - Borderlands 2 Been a while since I posted on here (mainly due to Deponia being a dreadful series) so thought as this is a good one I would get it down! Loved this throughout, played it with my partner so great fun all the way. Plat wise fairly straightforward with a couple of irritating bits thrown in, mainly being RNG crap that frankly I hate. Popular Post hittheroadbucky
Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I absolutely love story based games and the plot of Man of Medan was probably one of my favourites. The first couple of playthroughs where I was trying to see all the outcomes were so fun and seeing the difference between theatrical cut and curators cut was so interesting! However, the trophy list for this game is pretty shocking. It requires far too many replays and you can’t skip the cutscenes. So for certain trophies (most notably for me calm junior down) you’ll be sitting there replying the same scenes over and over just to finish one QTE and it gets tedious pretty fast. I will admit though I probably did more full playthroughs than I had to and I probably could have been more efficient with my time Overall I’d say the game was 10/10 fun for me, but the trophy hunting did kind of lower the enjoyment. I definitely recommend picking it up if you’ve been curious to try though!
