Popular Post NurseTatiana
#231 Resident Evil Platinum Splattin' 'Em! Earn all trophies. 5.69% Very Rare Enjoyment 10/10 Difficulty 5/10 Soundtracks 8/10 Time Estimated 30h Platinum time 2 years and 4 months. Recommendation 8/10 excellent game Easiest trophy Die once imao Hardest trophy Real survival and invisible enemy mode My review I remember the first time playing this game back in 2018 the controls was very annoying for me. I'm mostly used to new resident evil games with the first and third person view so basically I gave up at that time and said I just can't get used to it. As for now in 2021 February I was thinking to do it again and to give a second chance. My most inspiration came from people doing backlogs so I said I want to start doing games that I didn't platinum and go back but oh boy....do I regret doing this game? Let me just say it was really amazing as soon as I got used to the classic tank controls everything feels so easy and started to slowly adapt to it. As for the story there is not much to say Barry and Jill one of my favourite characters loved every moment of it the most funny part is probably trying to kill enemies the first time I missed so many shots because of the camera angels so hilarious ? However I put this platinum in my trophy cabinet just because it was really special for me to go back and do it again as it is my favourite game for this year so far after dead space 2 ? Funniest moment Trying how to kill the enemies with old classic controls lol Best moment Getting back to the game after 2 years and doing the platinum Annoying enemies Hunters and crimson heads! Next platinum? Maybe RES0 or Paranormal activity.

Popular Post Viper
#220 Concrete Genie The Artist of Denska This was an interesting game. It was one I kind of forgot about, so getting it through PS+ was great. The story is something we've seen a bajillion times before. Protagonist with a ton of heart gets bullied by some assholes, magic is somehow present (they never really explain that part), so bullied kid becomes Chosen One and is the only one who can fight The Darkness and eventually befriends said bullies. The real appeal of the game is obviously the art you can create. Because the way it works and the pieces you get to choose from...all have a way of working together. There's literally no WRONG way to make anything, and no matter what your imagination comes up with, the art comes alive and the Genies interact with it perfectly. I have to imagine the devs put in painstaking hours to make sure thousands upon thousands of combinations worked together in unison....and it's quite impressive to see. The last part of the game I found to be a little annoying though...like it wants to turn itself into an action game when you spend zero time doing anything action oriented any other time in game, so it just becomes something it's not to try and give you a suspenseful ending. Overall it was a fun experience and something different for a change. Trophies are simple and straight forward, and if you're into the art making there's even a Free Paint mode to go crazy on. Worth a play.

Everyone playing it for free, while I paid for it awhile back.. Wasn't that much, though. And it was pretty fun. Very colorful game, where you get to paint a variety of things. Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #115 Far Cry 4 Rare: 16.95% Difficulty: 3/10. Enjoyment: 10/10. Challenge: 9/10. Widespread/Violence/Explosion: 9/10. Music: 8/10. Grind Difficulty: 8/10. Genre: Shooter, Tactical, Adventure, Action, Historical, Sandbox, Open World, Warfare and Death. Platinum Time: 1 week and 3 hours. Same thing before from last year 2020 and earned Platinum #115. Going into a historical/ancient world full of unknown things was new to me. Wild animals, trial tasks, side quests, getting bump off on drugs was a funny way of showing it etc. I really enjoyed the experience and new things traversing into Kyrat. I have completely upgraded my skills at max, completing side quests, blowing asshole enemies out of the air, maybe having a giant elephant and fuck up the enemies down in close combat. Dealing with a giant brute enemy wasn't easy, I had to get the brute skill upgrade for me to stick a big silver knife in the back side of the brute's neck and kill it. It gave a really nice combo between stealth and death below xp or higher combo to it. Killing bosses was pretty much easy and slashing them down into hahaha...small pieces. Pagan Min was an asshole and I never liked the guy. My choice in the end? I killed him without hesitation. With him and the rest of his lapdogs are dead. Kyrat is saved and peace return. As for others, well I'll say this though, it is a big open world full of opportunities and lots of big unknown shit you'll be dealing with. I finally got everything else done and DLC was very easy and had no problems with it at all. Highly recommended for this game. Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 211! Sakura Wars All trophies I know nothing about this series, and I was simply curious about the story, the characters (and the robots). Is a game with a VN style (choices which decide the characters' affections) and an action combat system (which is very simple, since you can't customize anything of these robots, and in the end you'll always play the dueal-wielder one, since it's the strongest). The story, the characters (and their backstories) are quite good, and the robots level are very simple and fun (when you play them for the first time, then they become really boring, since you're forced to play them at leats four time, and something like 10 times the final two levels). . Then you have collectibles (bromides/pictues) scattered around the theater and the town (easy to find when you have a guide), and a Japanese cards minigame (where you have to defeat 21 opponents! Too bad you can't speed up the animations...). As i said before, some trophies requires a lot of grinding, like the bot battles (where you have to replay every level at least 4 times in order to achieve S-rank), the 5 endings, the cards minigame, and the 15 messages (which force you to replay on NG+ until you receive your 15th message). But the anime opening is really good! "Unofficial" platinum screenshot, that I took after the message in order to have a good picture of the theater at night! And the "official" platinum screenshot with the 15th message!
Popular Post DefinitiveTJ
Platinum 96: No Man's Sky When I started No Man's Sky I never thought that I would get the platinum. Not because it's hard, survival games just never clicked with me. But this game has always been alluring to me right from the time that they announced it and now with countless updates later it's just terrific. Still you have to set your expectations correctly. Yes the universe is endless but can also be empty and lifeless, untill you find a world that seems made for you. Also small point, you need to get off your first planet. The game actually holds your hand pretty well through the beginning with quests and tutorials to learn you the basics but I still had to Google a lot to advance. The trophies actually help a lot for you to learn further. The trophies have different categories corresponding to activities like speaking to aliens, shooting other ships, earning money and finding fauna which all help to advance your knowledge of the game. By going through the list you might find things you enjoy the most which for me was mining asteroids in space for precious metals and occasionally shooting hostile ships out of orbit. I still haven't gone to the center of the universe, and I might never will, but I really enjoyed my time in it nonetheless. Platinum 97: Telling Lies Great game that I won't tell a lot about because of spoilers but it's a great concept for a game and doesn't over stay it's welcome.
Popular Post Darghel
#95 The Dark Soul (Dark Souls III) Difficulty: The game itself can be very frustrating, but the grind is what really bothered me... Time to Complete: Around 85 hours (DLC included) Recommended: Yes and no (more information at the end) Total Score: 8.5/10 Ah, Dark Souls, a game that I never expected to love but it became one of my favorites of all time...at least that's what DS1 did. Then came DS2 and I noticed how "meh" it was, and how despite some improvements it also had this idea that "more is better, and also harder", which often lead me to frustrating times. That's until I played ds3, which I'm almost inclined to say was just as frustrating as ds2, if not more at times. But I want to reiterate something before I continue: DS3 is a good game and unlike DS2, which often felt uninspired and very lacking in many areas, DS3 felt like it had a consistent theme going and the exploration was once again great. Not as good as DS1 but MUCH better than ds2. With that said, DS3 felt like they took a lot of "inspiration" by ds2, especially how the game constantly gets you through ambushes...seriously, ambushes aren't hard, they're only frustrating. It's only hard the first time but once you know what's going on, the difficulty won't be an issue. I must've died SO MANY TIMES, because there was an ambush, and that's not hard. Even the stat distribution, while not as bad as Ds2, still forces you to level up vitality to increase your carry weight (in ds1 it was endurance, which also increased stamina). At the very least no need to increase adaptability for having better dodging! Secondly, and most obviously, this game took heavy inspiration from a famous other from software game that maybe some of you might know, called Bloodborne, which came a year before DS3...and it shows: the game felt extremely dark and gritty, just like Bloodborne, the theme of the game is about speed thanks to a better dodge, just like Bloodborne, and there's a lot of emphasis on giving weapons unique effects, just like bloodborne. But they seem to have forgotten the most important thing from BB...which is the actual combat! Don't get me wrong, DS3 is WAY faster than ds1 and 2, enemies are incredibly quick and can easily kill you with their barrage of attacks. But that's the problem: you are still slow like in dark souls! Ok, you're slowER than your enemies, you attack a lot quicker than before and you generally have more stamina than ds1 and 2, which gives you a lot of swings and always able to dodge, but it didn't feel like I was fast enough! I always go for a heavy melee hitter with 2handed weapons but I legitimately never felt able to take on enemies because of how quickly (and overall faster) they could attack me! In the end, I had to go for a 1handed sword FROM THE START OF THE GAME and basically have it carry me: suddenly I could get past through most parts, and bosses were dying much easy too. It doesn't even help that a lot of 2handed weapons are really bad until you hit very high levels or upgrade them to +10, at that point I could finally kill enemies in maybe 2 hits... and even then I could still kill most enemies in 2-3 hits with my Lothric Knight Sword. I mean, my LKS (with sharp) could do 250-300 damage per swing, while my Exile Greatsword (with Refined) was doing 300-350. I used it mostly for my PVP sessions because of the longer reach and staggering (which a lot of enemies don't seem to be affected either). And let's not ignore how there are still so many weapons but more than half of them are worthless, and how weight is still a thing despite that now you only have one stat that increases it (Vitality) which increases nothing else...they should've gone for BB system of "Fashion souls" instead, at least for this game! I'm sorry though, I don't mean to be negative about this game, because like I said above the game is good and once I managed to get through it I could finally enjoy it: exploration is much better than ds2, even if it lacks the connectivity of the first game, and there's a lot of areas to explore (Ashes of Ariendel was pretty meh, but the Ringed City was probably the best one, it's on par with DS2 DLC). They weren't easy by any means (especially at the start of Ashes of Ariendel: getting ambushed right away, just a normal thing!) but once you knew what to do, the game really picked up and I had a lot of fun. Boss fights are, for the most part, brilliantly made and I enjoyed them a lot, even the hardest ones. The few exceptions were Nameless King and Darkeater Midir but only because the camera was always a mess, but fights like Slave Knight Gael, Friede and Father Ariendel, Champion Gundyr or the Abyss Watchers were fantastic to do and even if they kicked my butt a few times I really, REALLY felt how majestic they were, with phases, with music, everything was top-notch here. Sure you had stuff like Ancient Wyvern, High Lord Wolnir, and Crystal Sage who were mostly easy cakes but unlike DS2, which had so many weak bosses, this game has a ton of great boss fights so I could easily say they went for quality than quantity this time. And again, the game is very big, there are so many areas to explore, none of them were that bad either, maybe the only exception is Farron Keep with its poisonous swamp, or the Catacombs of Carthus. I appreciate them trying to remake Ash Lake but it feels smaller and cramped. So what else...oh right trophies, I mean this is a trophy hunting site, we're all hunters! Well, the thing is that, besides the difficulty of the game, there aren't many issues with the trophies themselves...however, considering you need to get all spells and rings, this leads to the grinding part of this game and, without a doubt, it's the worst offender of the 3 games. DS3 has fewer covenants I think but they all need tokens taken from invasions or other matters (excluding sunlight warriors), but since this is a game from 5 years ago you might not find enough people to do them all, which results in you grinding for HOURS for a piece of shackle, concord, wolfsblood or tongue for your covenant. And it SUCKS, we're talking of an abysmal 3 to 5% dropping rate at nearly 400 item discovery and it was frustrating. DS1 and 2 had similar grinding requirements but the drop rate was surprisingly good, not taking me more than a few hours to grind, but taking all 30 concords took me a whopping 10 to complete! The thing is, I'm a shitty PVP player so even though I tried to invade I always most likely lost every single invasion, which resulted in me taking forever. The sunlight covenant was the easiest as I grinded Friede and maybe soul of Cinder: at least I was doing something helpful! At any rate, sorry for the wall of text, but overall the platinum is doable, but the grind is abysmally bad and it's the only thing stopping anyone because everything else is surprisingly easy and only require a guide to know where to go, but there's nothing legitimately hard. It's just the grind that will grind you to a screeching alt, which is my only reason as to why I'm leaning toward a no. BUT, if you can find people to help you with the grind (My good friend @SoRandom040 helped me with the Vertebrae Shackles, thank you very much!) and enjoy PVP and are good with it, this might not be such a pain and you might even have a better time than I did. It still won't change that you'll have to grind though, so if you plan to do this be ready for a long and excruciating grind! Popular Post ladynadiad
#201 Samurai Hero Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes Definitely one of my longer plats and sadly this one isn't even UR for how much of a grindfest it was. That is probably because a lot of the grind is actually fun and completing subsequent iterations of each heroes' story adds to the overall story, lore and characterization of the various characters. Plat definitely took the about 200 hours estimated though because it's about 64 playthroughs plus a grind to max the levels of each hero and then farming for materials and weapons as needed that weren't obtained through those numerous playthroughs. The stories each are pretty short, about 2-3 hours, but when multiplied by 64 it gets to be a meaty game. Definitely would recommend it though even if the plat is a lengthy grindfest. I'd recommend it mostly because the grind didn't get tedious until the very end when farming for levels and the last few weapons. I paid maybe $10 for it used and definitely got my money's worth. For a 10+ year old game, it holds up well and is a lot of fun. The plat also had a decent level of challenge and there was a lot of variation in the overall playstyles among the many characters. A shame no further games in the series were localized because I'd be very interested in playing a sequel.
Popular Post madbuk
#410 - The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV I began this tetralogy back in August last year, and have loved the journey it has taken me on. It stumbled a bit at the end for me, but nowhere near badly enough to retroactively make me dislike the games. There are just some story developments in this one that I really wasn't a fan of lol, but I can look past them. I love the world-building this series has. Every character, even the NPCs you encounter, have their own lives and stories, many of which develop across the course of the whole saga instead of just being restricted to a single game. It was always nice to see sidequests get a follow up in the next game(s) because it actually made them feel worthwhile. Admittedly, by skipping the Sky saga (only on PC in the west) and the Zero saga (only in Japan) I have missed quite a few details and character developments, so a lot of the references/characters in this were lost on me, but the game does a great job at making sure Cold Steel-only players still understand what is going on, even if they don't have the entire context behind it. Also, speaking of characters, this game had way too many playable ones lol. So many of them just never got used by me at all. This game, like Cold Steel III, added even more QoL upgrades, and the biggest one for me was a chest tracker. In Cold Steel games, you need to open every treasure chest for a trophy, and in 1-3 there's no way to know you missed one until you get to the end and the trophy doesn't pop. Thankfully I never encountered that, but it was nice to have a counter in this one so that that stress was completely removed. Overall, my rankings for this saga would be 3 > 1 > 4 > 2, but none of them are bad at all. I'm eager to see where they go next with the next saga, but also this is a great end point for the series as well (a couple things have been left open for the next saga, but the vast majority was wrapped up), so thankfully I don't have to be on the edge of my seat for them to announce a localization and port it.

ChiefMichigan
Platinum #17 - The Wolf Among Us (PS4) Snagged the game on a great deal a month or two ago. The story was great, and I'm glad I played it. Unlike a lot of Telltale games where you just play through every chapter and episode to get all trophies, this one threw in the Book of Fables trophies for each episode. I got the Episode 5 Book of Fables trophy without even trying, and the other four were simple enough. I wanna get Tales from the Borderlands soon, and that will be a really easy platinum.

Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Platinum #94: Everything Everything is a game wherein you explore planets at varying scales of life, venturing even out into space or into the molecular level on occasion, all while collecting thought provoking quotes from other living things and collecting Alan Watts tapes to listen to. Despite the name, it's actually quite a small selection of content - especially once you realize that the individual environments are not infinite, but instead loop around in a repeating pattern, which I noticed once I was able to spawn in giant objects. It's a fun game; it gives you just enough content to mess around in while feeding you a steady stream of thought provoking dialogue. It's kinda like an anti-walking sim in a way. It's almost like a shitpost game, but in that case, it would be the most profound shitpost I've ever experienced. My favorite quote from the game; "As long as you keep moving, in any direction you choose, that will take you where you need to go."
