Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 213! Giraffe and Annika Gir-Ann Master A quite obscure game (on this site there are only 200 players) with a low budget (with some textures which are really ugly! ), but I liked the story, the music and the Ni no Kuni style. The game is quite simple with no combat system: you simply walk around and you run away from white ghosts in five dungeons with platform elements. The commands aren't really precise, so it's really easy do the same sections over and over again (especially in the 4th dungeon), then you have musical boss fights, where you have to move left (or right) and press . Nothing more. The speedrun is quite easy once you know what to do, and the hardest trophies are the ones related to the musical fights, since you have to earn the S rank for every fight (5) and on every difficulty (easy, normal, hard). And the hard are tough, especially the final boss, but this difficulty is quite artificial, since you don't see all the notes due to the background colors, and sometimes the game doesn't register your imput . While for the other 4 battles I only needed a couple of attempts, for the final one I spent one hour for the Perfect Rhythm trophy (clear every song with no misses) and, I don't know how, I earned "only" the A rank. So I needed another hour (and 1.000 more points) in order to reach the S rank! But this platinum has a rarity around the 10%! Platinum screenshot!

Popular Post kindajustin
#23 - COD Modern Warfare Remastered Well it took two years and four separate instances of me deciding I wanted to play this game but OORAH MARINES I finally have my first platinum from a Call of Duty game! This game feels easier than the original was with the campaign only having a few difficult spots on Veteran difficulty. Hunted and Heat were pretty tough missions but nothing compares to the chaos of One Shot, One Kill haha. Nowhere near as hard as the other COD title I've played recently Black Ops 3 but this game was still a lot of fun to platinum and I'm happy to add this trophy to my collection. After spending hundreds of hours playing the original game as a teenager, I like to think 14-year-old me would be proud of this accomplishment. I also like the feeling of getting a platinum on a good game I received through my PS+ subscription so that's an added bonus. Not sure why I'm getting back into shooters recently but I'm not complaining and I'm very glad to have this game finally completed. It's probably the nostalgia talking a little, but in terms of the fun I had this game is easily an 8/10.

Popular Post xxEliteCDxx
Platinum # 75 - Seasons After Fall It is definitely one of the best puzzle/platformer games that i have played so far! I really enjoyed the art-style of this game, and it had a relaxing soundtrack as well! Some puzzles were a bit challenging, but everything worked out in the end! It takes about 5-6 hours to obtain the platinum trophy, and overall, it was an excellent experience !

Popular Post JoaLoft
#246 - Concrete Genie When this game was first announced, it didn't really grab my attention. After all, artistic games have become a dime a dozen, ever since the indie business boomed. But, as this was a Plus freebie and I wanted to focus on yet another easy platinum trophy, I figured I'd give Concrete Genie a go and see if this game was a treacherous bucket of paint thinner or a Van Gogh in disguise. You take control of Ash, a teenage boy who has a knack for drawing. As he's working on yet another design in his sketchbook, sitting alone, a group of bullies arrives behind him, steals the sketchbook and rips all the pages out. They fly away with the wind and scatter all across Denska, a run-down abandoned port town struck by disaster. To add insult to injury, it has been taken over by juvenile delinquents who turned the place into their own personal playground, vandalizing the many buildings. Discouraged, Ash ends up at the lighthouse of Denska where he chases a page of his most recent design of a Genie, named Luna. She comes to life and awards him with a magic paint brush the size of a small broomstick which allows him to literally paint the town back to life. Ash sets out to Denska again, collecting the pages to restore his sketchbook, bringing his designs to life and taking back Denska from the bullies and a mysterious dark substance which lies at the heart of the town's downfall. The theme of this game is being made abundantly clear from the get-go and stays prevalent throughout the whole experience: bullying. It's a theme a lot of people in this world can sadly relate to, but it is being brought in a rather platonic way, and the outcome ends up being predictable, teaching you that bullies are just misunderstood people who can feel remorseful about their actions, if shown how morally wrong it is. Pretty black-and-white without any notable nuances, although important to note: the game is directed towards players of all ages, thereby keeping the topic matter and its moral message easy to grasp. But you're not here to learn about bullying, it is merely a catalyst to drive the story forward and give the gameplay some much-needed meaning. As you're exploring the different parts of the town and picking up various designs, you'll be painting different landscapes on walls and billboards, avoiding the bullies by running across rooftops, removing the black substance with Super Paint provided by so-called Genies and bringing said Genies to life. Genies are amicable creatures based on the designs from Ash's sketchbook who will help him move forward as he creates them from scratch, providing you with the freedom to design their bodies, ears, tails, etc. Red Genies can set red tarps on fire, Yellow Genies help power fuse boxes and machinery to remove obstacles and Blue Genies can blow on blue objects to create a path forward. That's mostly all you'll be doing, save for a neat trick the game has up its sleeve towards the end of the game, which I will not spoil. Concrete Genie can end up feeling a bit repetitive once you gain access to the final region, but the artistic factor can not be understated. I enjoyed crafting completely custom (!) landscapes on the walls a lot and witness how the bleak walls of Denska slowly transform into entirely personal vivid works of art. Not just that, the Genies are a joy to behold and interact with, to see them play around with Ash and the different elements you paint on the walls. There is one thing I need to address: the controls. The game prides itself on letting you paint with the motion controls of the Dualshock controller, trying to make it forcedly feel innovative. I struggled with these settings to such a degree of frustration, that I went into the controls settings and changed it from motion controls to the right stick, saving myself a huge headache. I highly recommend you all do the same, because it just did not work well at all. Most frustrating trophy - Perfectly Restored Most of the trophies in Concrete Genie consist of watching your Genies play around with the decors you've painted on the walls and some require specific recreations. But I felt that "Perfectly Restored" did end up wasting some of my time. To get this trophy, you need to recover all the pages that have been scattered around Denska by the bullies and thus restoring Ash's sketchbook. By the end you'll have collected most of them, and you will have so many Genie designs to choose from that you'll be thinking: "does it really matter if I find another set of horns or a new tail design?" But trophy lists do love their collectibles, so you'll need to look in every nook and cranny, both on the ground and the rooftops to find the last missing pages. If I used a guide from the start, I could've saved myself a bit of time, but I was determined to find most of these collectibles by myself. Lesson learned! ... Or maybe not, seeing as how stubborn and meticulous I want to be - and always will be - in finding as much as I can without any help.

Popular Post JungleCat20
PLATINUM #390 Never Fade Away I really enjoyed playing through this game, especially the main story lines to get the different endings. Some of the side jobs and leveling up skills became a little boring and tedious at times. I didn't experience many glitches other than being booted out of the game a handful of times after playing for a couple of hours (PS4 PRO). I saved a lot so I was able to pick up where I left off pretty easily. I'll probably add the free upgrade to my new PS5. Overall, I'd say it was a good gaming experience.
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 248 - CONCRETE GENIE Beautiful game! As I'm eagerly waiting for more information regarding VR2, this game still have a shot at full completion. For now I'll just say that if you want a quick and enjoyable platinum give this one a go. PLATINUM 249 - UNDERTALE At least you’re awesome Dude!! Okay Marc, let’s try to do this the best way you can while avoiding any kind of backlash. Before starting I need to share that as a colossal fan of old school RPGs and bullet hell games I was intrigued to try this game since it launched as it was so acclaimed and whatnot. However maybe it was me, I don’t know but for the first time in a pretty long time I’ll actually say the words that usually don’t come out of my mouth, I didn’t enjoy my experience with this game. In hindsight I wished I have not bought the game on the past sale as my time with it was so dreadful. Nevertheless , not all is lost as it was a quick platinum and I needed in order to finally pop my favourite Original release of 2021 so far the milestone it deserves. With that being said please wait a little bit longer for that one even though is already shining on my profile. Popular Post arcanehornet_
#319: Little Nightmares II What an amazing horror puzzle adventure! I already thought the first game was a masterpiece, this game improves over it in every way. The game is incredibly well designed and creepy too. Not gonna lie, the new monsters and levels scared the shit out of me. I honestly can’t praise the game enough, it’s an excellent continuation to the first game. I just wish the game was a little longer Oh well, maybe we’ll get a season pass. About the plat: It is very easy, there are two types of collectibles, and the rest is story related or miscellaneous trophies. All of them are very fun to do too! I recommend using the full walkthrough by PS5Trophies, it won’t spoil any of your experience. If you like horror, please play this. It’s seriously great and not a huge time investment either. Popular Post DefinitiveTJ
Platinum 100: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End The big 100! I thought a lot about what which game I wanted to be my milestone but going with a true Playstation 4 classic made a lot of sense. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was my first Playstation 3 game in 2010 and even though I've changed accounts since then it was still my first experience with trophies. I've played Uncharted 4 before in 2017 and for some reason it didn't fully impress me. Don't get me wrong I still loved the choices they made in the story and the game was beautiful but the gameplay formula got a bit stale for me. But, after I played Lost Legacy last year which I thoroughly enjoyed (and weirdly is my favorite Uncharted now) I was interested in replaying this game again to see how I feel about it now. Now playing in 2021 I can't believe how much I actually missed these characters. Naughty Dog spends a lot of time to fill in backstories and add additional optional conversations that flesh out the story and the game is better for it. A lot of the set pieces are amazing and the locations are great as always but I still felt that the shooting gameplay and even some of the platforming got stale quick and in this department with the long length the game actually suffers. With Lost Legacy I never lost interest because it's more bite sized and although I do agree that Uncharted 4 needed a longer length to fully tell it's story, I still hope that if they continue the franchise that the installments are more bite sized also. Apart from the length I absolutely enjoyed my time with the game again and it's definitely a game worthy of my 100 platinum milestone. Popular Post OakfieldPark
Cyberpunk 2077. TL:DR Great game, great style, great attention to detail. A little buggy but nothing nearly as bad as they say. Ok, well, I played on a base PS4 so was expecting the worst of the worst from what people were saying, I was looking forward to it's release just like everyone else so when I finally got it as a Christmas gift the s*** show that followed really put me off playing it for a couple of months. But for many reasons including firstly that I think Keanu is a wonderful human being and he's been nothing but super passionate about this project and secondly that I was also really hoping to make Riders Republic my 30th platinum and thought I could platinum this in time for it's release (turns out I was a little too right on that) I decided to brave it on my PS4 and just get it done. I was thankfully surprised to discover that all-in-all I think the game is great. For reals, I spent the whole time looking up. Night City, even on base PS4 is really kind of jaw-dropping from street-level. It feels like a genuine city too, it's hard to describe but even after 92 hours of playing I still barely knew my way around without the map, every street and alley looked new, mostly unfamiliar even toward the end and it all looks even better when it rains - there's a view from one side of the city across the canal to the other that looks and feels like you're standing in the living worlds of Ghost in the Shell or Akira, every building seemed to have a fully designed interior with an immense amount of detail and it's full of different cultures and languages just like every irl city, even the surrounding Badlands were downright gorgeous. I don't need to tell you there's bugs but not nearly as many as people were making out, the two main noticeable ones I found were that the city was almost completely empty about half of the time, which- I mean, I'm on an old console. I'm not expecting full, dense traffic with hundreds of NPCs walking around and the second was that getting out of your vehicle required a few seconds before you could draw your weapon which did feel annoyingly unresponsive and janky at first but I learnt to park slightly away from my destinations or waited until my weapons/fists were drawn instead of landing immediately in the middle of combat and not being able to attack. The only other bugs I found were purely graphical, occasionally the character model in the inventory menu would be glitched off-center and occasionally I'd get subtitles that wouldn't disappear even though I play with them turned off. But nothing game-breaking, in fact I only blue screened twice, which coming from Fallout 76, I Am Bread and Stranded Deep is really damn good. Awesome story with a tonne of different branching paths and another tonne of well-written side missions to sink your teeth into, in fact I underestimated how much Keanu is actually in this, I thought they'd got him for a few of the main story missions or whatever but no he's effectively the second main character with as much lines as V. I play melee builds usually and more specifically brawler if given the option and this game nails it, the satisfaction of punching people in the face so hard through barrels, shelves or boxes with a mechanical gorilla arm never got old even after the grind of clearing up all of the NCPD stuff. To summarize, I loved Far Cry Blood Dragon and this feels like its much bigger more mature brother, I feel like hating on it has become a bit lazy, sure it took almost 10 years to make so there wasn't a lot of excuse to release an unfinished game but the people dragging it now seem to be people who've played very little of it or are just in it for the meme while the honest positive reviews I see are from people who've put a substantial amount of time into it, played it to the end or platinumed it. Oof, this turned into a whole IGN review.
