Popular Post Ghost
Mixed feelings towards this games trophy list and the luck based RNG on getting the Cat Call ability. Story was cool and getting trophies for certain characters was amusing. Now about the Cat Call ability: Man, this took longer than anticipated ?. I thought I would have luck on my side but Nah....none whatsoever on trying to get the ability from opening Mother Boxes. Saving one million credits, deleting the player settings save-file and opening silver boxes got boring quick. I just went with doing the Catwoman Multi-verse. It was time consuming but it guaranteed the Cat Call ability. Glad it's over. Popular Post SirDave1988
# 124 LEGO Batman 2 : DC Super Heroes (PS3) Complete HeroCollected all of the Trophies The usual standard LEGO fare here, nothing too complicated. Play through the story, collect the stud multiplier red bricks as soon as possible, then just go back through the game unlocking everything to 100%, purchasing stuff and doing some other small miscellaneous tasks along the way. I liked the Gotham City open-world main hub in this one, that was pretty cool and it ran suprisingly well, considering it was running on PS3. Apart from that, yeah, not much I can say really, a nice chill game to play after work/on the weekends since it doesn't require too much in the way of thought/concentration, apart from some of the Minikits/Gold Bricks being a tad confusing. Will move onto it's sequel next! Difficulty - 3/10 Enjoyment - 6/10 Took me twice as long as the guide suggested, yeah I'm pretty slow ?? Popular Post Nostalgy_Flow
Platinum #93: StriderAnother pretty nice Metroidvania, I enjoyed it!Really simple plat, took me 8 hrs in total, 6 for the run on Hard and for the speedrun on Normal my time was 02:02:41. Speedrun really doable since the trophy required to do it in 4 hrs, after doing the first run on Hard (difficulties trophies not stackable) while getting the various collectibles, you're gonna be more familiar with the game and therefore you'll have no problems. Btw Hard mode very doable, nothing special.
Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
That's right, Aerith, we did it. One of the best plus months gave me a reason to finally (hehe) try one of gaming's classics that I've been ignoring for pretty much 2 decades. The game might not be faithful to the original but now I'm definitely pumped for trying the 20+ years old original. At first I started greatly disliking the combat, but turns out I wasn't giving materias the attention they required, and since this is a common topic (game being too difficult) we can all say for certain that most players are not putting too much thought into build preparation. It's not a matter of "git gud", it's a matter of learning how the game works. I only started caring about materias halfway through the game and it was smooth sailing from then on. Even hard mode was a breeze. However, the game is also flawed: The game is bloated and a filler fest. Just to give you an idea, the original has an average length of 40-45 hours if you only focus on the main quests, meanwhile, the remake has an average length of 30-35 hours, also only focusing on the main quests yet according to veterans FF7R only covers 10-15% of the original's story. At first I was hyped to see FF6, 7, 8, 9,10 remade so I can finally play them, but it seems it will take them an entire decade just to complete FF7R. The fact that the developers themselves have stated they don't know how many parts this is going be tells you everything you should know. Disheartening. All in all, this was a good experience with excellent combat, great characters but waaaaay too many slow walking sections (chapters 3, 8 and 9 alone are like 9 hours of slowly walking to the next objective). Popular Post StraightVege
Collector of Souls #266 Exhumed from the deepest depths of my PS Plus backlog, this aggressively mediocre RPG brawler is essentially a Dragon's Crown clone, with all the production values of an old Newgrounds flash game. Mindlessly button mash your way through 12 simple stages, as a ragtag party of 6 bumbling mercenaries who run the fantasy race gamut from Dwarf, to Werewolf, to Pharaoh Queen. Skill alone won't carry you to victory, however: success is heavily dependent on your adventurers being at a higher level than the enemy mobs, and outfitting them with superior equipment, so grinding the same stage repeatedly until you're strong enough to defeat the boss is how the repetitive gameplay cookie crumbles. Fortunately, your Al companions fight adequately if you keep them upgraded, doing much of the work for you. It usually doesn't require more than 3 or 4 runs to beat a chapter. Each character possesses 3 unique magic attacks, and the player can swap between directly controlling any of them whenever they desire, but I found it most effective to simply play as the Hierophant, spamming her overpowered Acid Mist spell. As in Golden Axe, one can also ride various beasts, although it's usually pointless to bother, beyond a particular side-mission. Dungeon Punks features a NG+ mode, too, but it doesn't meaningfully alter the game, other than bigger damage numbers popping up on screen. The shallow story revolves around a shady "death insurance" company, RezCorp, which rakes in moolah by resurrecting the deceased, including your characters when you inevitably fail. While amusingly written, satirizing every real-world corporate slogan you can think of, and mocking the corrupt American health insurance industry, it lacks liveliness, since it's presented entirely through motionless artwork and unvoiced text. It seems they had a surplus of cool-looking drawn characters, and thoughtlessly pasted them into the game wherever they could, just as an excuse to use them. All in all, Dungeon Punks felt half-baked, but wasn't the worst beat 'em up I've ever played. The small development team put forth some effort, at least, and it's genuinely humorous on occasion. A 15-20 hour romp with it could be worthwhile if you're starving for another fantasy brawler, and are okay with the RPG elements mattering more than your gaming abilities. I'd imagine it's significantly more fun in co-op mode as well. Nothing special here, though. Popular Post madbuk
#413 - Resident Evil 2 I was really excited for this. I had heard great things about it, and I was ready to get away from the fixed camera perspective of REmake and 0 because the aiming in those games is quite bad. Now that I've finally played it... I honestly think I prefer REmake? 2 is better than 0, though. The new camera angle in this makes it much easier for zombies to grab you/ambush you from off-screen, and Mr X was an annoying hindrance that got in the way of exploring and puzzle solving by being invincible and constantly chasing after you. I do like Claire and Leon a lot more than Chris and Jill (or Rebecca and Bill) but there wasn't a whole lot of story in this so they never really got a chance to shine. The other two duos I've played with so far have the same problem tbf. I do think this has the strongest story so far but that really isn't saying much, this series doesn't seem particularly narrative focused so far. The aiming in this is a lot better than in the previous 2 Resi games I've played, as in you can actually aim now. That is one of the biggest upgrades here compared to the prior ones, but also this game is gorgeous. All the environments are beautiful (or, as beautiful as they can be during an apocalypse), all the character models look great, the motion capture is great, it runs smoothly, the smaller details like clothes getting dirtier and seeing the rain on the clothes when outside are nice, and there's plenty of varied locations as well. A big step up from REmake and 0, but to be fair to those games they were just remasters whereas this was a complete remake, so it's maybe not the fairest comparison. Overall despite this not being the big revelation I needed to take me from enjoying the series to loving it, it's still an undeniable improvement in many aspects and REmake only barely has an edge over it. I'll definitely be considering playing RE3 in the future, but now I know what to expect going forward whereas I only had a vague idea of how different 2 was to what came before, so my expectations will be more in line with what 3 actually is (I hope.)
Popular Post Captain_Bone_666
#64: Battlefield 1 World War One Hero Battlefield 1. I was not sure if I wanted to get it, but it was very enjoyable. I liked the single player campaign very much. Short, but well made levels. The challenges took a little longer too complete, but there was nothing problematic or frustrating. The multiplayer was nice as you can complete the trophies without any coop support. (I hate coop multiplayer trophies...) All in all, a nice and not very difficult experience.
Popular Post Carol
#210 The Suicide of Rachel Foster Platinum Get all the trophies I like horror walking simulators, so I was interested in this game since it came out. You play as Nicole, a woman, with a disturbing family background, who comes to inspect her family hotel, so that she can sell it and finally find peace and let go of her painful memories. Unfortunately, it's exactly the opposite that ends up happening: Nicole gets stuck at the hotel, due to a major blizzard, and with the guidance of Irving, a FEMA agent, helping her over the phone, she has to explore the old building and confront her memories. In terms of horror walking simulators, I have to say that I liked "The Park" more: I think it was more well-done, more interesting and the story gets a really creepy turn towards the end. It's recommended that you play "The Suicide of Rachel Foster" with headphones. The sounds that old hotel makes can make your exploration quite scary, which is exactly what you're looking for in these types of games. Unfortunately, I felt my immersion was constantly being destroyed by the dialogue between Nicole and Irving, that, in my opinion, happens way too often. Just like in "The Park", you can expect a twist, that makes this story even darker than it already is. The conclusion to Nicole's story can also be quite disheartening. In general, I can't say that this game is that good, but it's still fairly interesting, if you enjoy these types of games. The platinum is also very simple and we have a very detailed guide here on PSNP, that you can use to make the road to the platinum more straightforward.
Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#120 Plague Tales: Innocence Another cute little platinum for me. Considering the length and the unknown factor of this game, I severely enjoy this game. Difficulty: 2/10 - Nothing drastic, hardest thing was having to look at the screen with the last weapon of the game Enjoyment: 7/10 - Pretty fun game and I only needed to play it 1 1/2 times. I would recommend this to anyone even ones that arent trophy hunters.

Popular Post MissShake
#55: Megaquarium Megaquarist Collect all the trophies in Megaquarium. Alright so this one comes with a story. Back in November of 2019, I gave this game a whirl. I was having a lot of fun, really. I'm pretty into fishes and sea creatures and I'd been craving some tycoon style games so it seemed like a perfect fit. And again, it really was! But during the later levels of the campaign I noticed slowdowns more and more, and eventually this turned into full on crashes. This game crashed a LOT, guys. But I trudged on because I was having fun, and then one crash ended up corrupting my save. I was a dumbass and hadn't backed anything up to the cloud, so of course I was crushed, ESPECIALLY because when this happened I was on the last level of the campaign Flash forward to now, and I felt like it was time to give it another go. There were still a lot of crashes and way too much slowdown, but the game is genuinely fun! The plat itself isn't that difficult, but I feel a sense of accomplishment just because of the technical issues. This game's been out for a while so I doubt there's gonna be any fixes, but I still hope it happens. Maybe play it on Steam? I'm sure there's not a lot of issues with the game on there. (Also looks like I'm on the leaderboards for this, that's hilarious.)

Popular Post TheDragonfly44
Platinum 148 - Mafia II Definitive Edition This game was one of my absolute favorites when i was younger. Seeing it on Playstation Now was enough to convince me to get Now and then later when they announced the Definitive Edition I had to get it... which wasn't the best idea as we all know it didn't launch in a very good state and still remains quite a mess. Plenty of audio and visual bugs and the gameplay (some really bad checkpoints) is certainly a little outdated nowadays, plus the dlcs aren't very good either. However, the story remains to be very superb and one of the best stories ive ever seen in a video game and i wont forget it. Platinum 149 - Tales From The Borderlands With not many Telltale games left for me to play I was very happy to hear this game was getting rereleased as I had only got the chance to play most of the first episode long ago. While the first two episodes were the funniest and the last three had a little bit more seriousness. this game was still incredibly funny and very fun to playthrough. Not much else to say lol, it was just good. And needed something a little more relaxed before my 150th. Next up, Dark Souls 3 just in time for the fifth anniversary of the game
Popular Post Gommes_
#127 Resident Evil 2 Racoon City Native Let me start by saying that this was a fantastic game! Back then, when the original came out I watched a friend playing it and some moments stuck with me even though I never really played the game. This remake caught my attention simply because I wanted to play a good Resident Evil game again after the trainwreck part 6 was. And what can I say? I liked it a lot. I am not a huge fan of puzzles in games and I mostly suck at them but here I had fun exploring different rooms, checking the map constantly in order to see what I am missing and thinking about managing my inventory. The graphics are amazing, even though I am not fully convinced of Leon’s design. He looks like he is part of a high school boy band. Speaking of design choices, Mr. X is awesome! This silent yet brutal appearance just fit the tone for that game and it always made me nervous when I heard his footsteps and I was amazed by the sound design when he was nearby. That electronic stutter combined with the fear you have encountering him was just superb and a great way to build tension. Great job Capcom! In general I was kinda on my toes for the whole game (especially when I found out that Mr. X follows you throughout the whole game), because of the atmosphere in that police station. Some gory effects were also extremely disgusting (in a good way)! So, the first run which lasted about 7 hours was pure joy and excitement. Trophy wise you had to do multiple playthroughs which didn’t add anything to the game imo. Claire’s side of the events is the same for like 90% and the B scenarios are just shorter. Capcom extended the playtime by giving you 2 characters and two scenarios but let’s be honest it’s always the same. Nevertheless, you have a good time going through it again on other difficulties. With the right guide it is possible to combine multiple requirements for certain trophies. So, the platinum is not that hard. Getting 100% however can be tough du to the one scenario where you have to kill 100 zombies in a tiny store. Took me longer than expected. Anyway, great game which I would recommend to pretty much anyone. Edited March 25, 2021 by Gommes_
Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #169 LA Noire PS4 Rare: 16.57% Difficulty: 3/10. Enjoyment: 10/10. Challenge: 8/10. Music: 8/10. Trophy Completion: 100% LA Noire PS4 completed. Genre: Shooter, Sport, Strategy, Adventure, Action, Thriller, Historical, Sandbox, Open World, Mystery, Crime, Comedy, Drama, Murder, Death and Conspiracy. Grind Difficulty: 8/10. Platinum Time: 6 days and 21 hours. Same thing before from last year 2020 and earned Platinum #169. I seriously had a excellent time and superb experience playing LA Noire Remastered on PS4 with refined visual upgrades and others as well. For a genre that has so many of em it's absolute fucking crazy lol. This is the first time I ever seen so much I putted up there. The open world showed 1940's modern classic vibe which I really loved it and it showed a surprising nice touched to the game. Most of the story scenes can't be skipped so it took me alot of work and patience to go cases from start to finished. Solving murder cases and others was really fun and grilling people down with questions and making them give up. The collectibles were fucking long grind to shit and I had to go to every single places to find and collect them all, pretty much going slow was the only way for me to get them all done and tick them off. The DLC Trophies was very good and didn't had any problems while tackling them down one DLC pack at a time. Another story I like to say, again from start to finished was enjoyable and I didn't mind to watch all cutscenes that can't be skipped. I would of moved much faster then everything else to complete all objectives but it was very challenging and long grind up to the stone. Some people say that LA Noire wasn't that good, but I disagreed on to that. It can get boring but when you get right down to it and experiencing crime games like this you'll get used to it. I customized the third screenshot and making it look funny as fucked hahaha. Highly recommended for this game. Next Platinum: ??? Popular Post jiichangmin
#11: Dead by Daylight Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Time to platinum: 2 months Feelings on game: Wow, where to begin with this game. Firstly, it's a lot of fun and I haven't played anything like it before. I played a lot during these two months so it's a very time consuming platinum. The game has a steep learning curve at first, especially on killer but once you get into the game, it's like a whole new world. Do go in prepared to be frustrated because skilled players love to troll new players, and there is a lot of tea bagging involved, and I also recommend turning your messages off, as I've heard a lot of stories about players being toxic in this game. The game itself, while other players aren't making fun of you to hell and back, is a lot of fun, I got generally addicted to it for a long time to the point where all that I wanted to do was play it. I am going for 100% completion so will still be playing for a while, and there is regular DLCs added to the game with new killers and survivors, completely changing the gameplay of some matches. I am still learning the game and continue to keep my messages turned off. Feelings on trophies: The trophy list for the game is not too difficult, and very well designed, with 90% of it involving learning the game, and playing the game as normal. However, it is very time consuming so I recommend playing the game at whatever pace that you feel most comfortable with, The trophy descriptions are very clear and you don't even need a guide to understand what to do. Unlocking the trophies gives you goals to aim for while playing, without getting in the way of playing the match properly. However, there were a few glitched trophies while I played, and some of them got fixed, but then more trophies became glitched so just be wary of this, but I am sure that all glitched trophies will be fixed eventually. I own all the DLCs and am currently going for the 100% completion of the game, and looking forward to the new DLC coming out soon. Also remember to take note, that with every DLC comes more trophies. Do I recommend it? Yes Edited March 25, 2021 by baejacobs
Popular Post Sardavanua
#179 - Life is Strange What if? It's already 4 years ago that I played this masterpiece for the very first time on my PS4 and I absolutely loved every single minute of it. A few weeks ago I realized I still have the PS3 version in my never ending backlog of PS3 games, so I decided to return to Arcadia Bay one more time. To be honest I was a little afraid of getting bored playing it again, because I'm not the kind of person who likes rewatching or rereading stuff, but oh boy I'm so glad I did. Compared to the PS4 version the PS3 version looks god awful to be honest, but I didn't really matter to me, the art style is still fancy as fudge even on PS3 and Arcadia Bay shines even on an older system. The game itself ran smoothly and I didn't encounter any gamebreaking bugs or anything, love that, my PS3 had to suffer through so many console breaking crap recently so that was a welcome change. The story is just phenomenal, it's such a nice take on chaos theory and yeah it's touching as a game can be. This time I didn't cry rivers, but I shed one or two tears still. The music they chose for LiS is straight a 11/10. It's like the music was made for the game or vice versa. The first track in the game from Syd Matters... Goosebumps every single time. The protagonist has to be one of my favorite game characters ever made. Even though I can't relate to Max at all, I just love her from the bottom of my heart. Chloe on the other hand... oof you gotta play Before the Storm if you want to understand her. Kate Marsh and David also have a very special place in my heart, both very well written yet so different. Trophy wise the game is very simple and if you play the game "properly" and explore a little you'll get like 90% of the trophies automatically, the rest can be achieved post-game in a matter of minutes. Also none of the trophies force you into story impacting choices, which is one of the worst things you can do in a game like this, you're free to do whatever you want. That's how it should be imo. Great game you should play it and you should get hyped for the PS5 remasters. Or not. Whatever you prefer. There were some similarities to Monster Hunter World in terms of movement and some of the combat mechanics. Not surprising though since both of these games were made under Capcom but I found it interesting. I really enjoyed the Pawn system and being able to pick other player's Pawns to fit your playstyle. I'm curious on how they will make a sequel to this game with how the story ends but I'll leave that to better minds. #333 Night in the Woods Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 A good narrative adventure with some good dialogue/interactions between all the characters. I like when Mae will pause for a second or two in a conversation then continue on. I think this is a game that will hit home harder for some than others. I was in the latter but it is just one representation of becoming an adult and being more responsible and I think it did that well.

Popular Post AshestoAshes28
#29 - This War of Mine: The Little Ones And with this one marks my 5th platinum in March, which I've got to say is quite good, especially for me ?. Anyway, I can honestly say that I love game, from the characters, the gameplay and the whole atmosphere of it! I love the fact that if you do something that's morally wrong, your characters will feel the consequences and comment about it, and will even suffer in mood because of it, and may not be able to perform certain tasks, which then limits the game. This means that you have to really think if what your about to do, whether that be stealing some food or commiting murder, is really worth it or if you are really desperate enough. I love the different locations you can travel to and I found myself, everytime I was searching for an item or food, praying that it would be in there otherwise how would I feed my characters. Trophy wise, they are a brilliant set of trophies that don't tell you what you need to do right off the bat and require some skill, without it being frustrating. Even the trophy descriptions are well thought out, and I really liked reading and trying to figure them out. A big thank you to @HaserPL for their brilliant guide for this, you did an amazing job! Popular Post arcanehornet_
#320: Senran Kagura Bon Appetit (Hanzo x Crimson Squad) So this is a cooking rhythm game with some additional..features. Anyone who has played the Senran Kagura series will know what I’m talking about. You will definitely go to Horny Jail if you play this game The game itself is very fun honestly. You play as a bunch of anime girls who enter a cooking tournament to win a scroll that can grant any wish. Clichés aside, there’s a separate story for all girls that you need to go through. Probably will play the rest of the games in this series at some point, they look pretty good About the plat: It is mostly easy-ish, but it’s quite grindy. My advice is to go through the story mode on Easy first to get a lot of the trophies out of the way. Try to get as many “Specials” as you can (fill up the pink hearts then break it when it appears in Phase 3.) After this, if you can, buy the Gessen x Hebijo DLC. Playing through this on easy helps alot with the grindy trophies and you get a bunch of DLC trophies too. You will only be missing the grindy trophies at this point. Play Yomi’s song on normal free play mode and try to get most of it down perfectly for the “Finally” trophy (reaching lvl 15 Ninja Arts). After you’ve done this just keep playing the song over and over again, activating your ninja arts as many times as possible. On the way to completing 200 songs you should get every other trophy. Good luck! Fun: 7.5/10 (gets kinda repetetive and grindy) Time: 30ish hours Difficulty: 3/10 Edited March 26, 2021 by arcanehornet_
