Popular Post Phantochi
#228 - Gravity Rush Remaster This game was a nice surprise, but you can see some limitations, maybe because it was a vita game originally. Character design is unique and refreshing, all cities and locations are a joy to explore, too bad there's no reason to do such, the comic book style cutscenes are pretty cool and certainly stylish, the gravity mechanic is a nice touch, it makes getting around rather fun, but at the same time the camera gets very disorienting when looking around while "flying", Combat is one-dimensional, the kick in particular sometimes don't hit when it should, All in all i recommend it, Gravity Rush is a fun little gem.

Popular Post sh4d0wzcs
After taking a small break from trophy hunting and playing cod mindlessly I've come back and done a few. #160 Rogue Company PS5 Auto pop from when I did the platinum way back in the closed beta for the PS4, only one trophy didn't pop which was the practice mode trophymwhich took me a few minutes to finish off. #161 Control PS4 I bought this game months and months ago thinking I'd play it straight away but I got motion sickness pretty quickly.. it was only recently I've it another go and turned off motion blur which helped significantly. The game itself was pretty good, I've always been a fan of the scp foundation stories on reddit and this is basically a game about them, one could compare it to a intellectual version of infamous. The gameplay itself was quite good, the story was quite good yet a slight mindfuck at times and the most memorable was the ash maze mission with the music, that was pretty epic. I haven't done the dlc but may do so in the future with the PS5 stack that I'll eventually get around to doing. #161 Outriders I played the ever living shit out of the beta and really enjoyed it so naturally I pre-ordered and played the ever living shit out of it again until I had the platinum. The game itself is basically division in space but over is detrimental. I played as a trickster which should slow time, teleport and deal massive dmg very quickly if built right. The abilities themselves could be compared to destiny which atleast for me wasnt a bad thing. This game is honestly one of a kind for me, i say this because it implements divisions cover, tactics and abilities(kinda) but also brings in space magic like destiny ht with a solid conclusive ending which neither games actually have. I've read on reddit that alot of people also compare this to Xbox's Gears of War, but I've never played that or even owned an Xbox so I can't make that reference. Gameplay is challenging but very rewarding with the world tier system, some bosses were impossibly hard but once you died a few times and saw a rhythm to them it because much easier to work around. The sorcerer bosses can eat a bag of dicks though, as they were exceptionally hard for me with the constant lightening aoe and auto turret spheres they would spawn.. Outriders is a solid game that had a bumpy release with server issues and disconnects, however I do believe this game will go far once the development team irons everything out.
Popular Post Sylvanticore
: 27 - Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS5) : Be Yourself Collect all Trophies After getting my last platinum which was an autoplat of Spider-Man Remastered I thought about doing the PS4 version of MM first and then autoplating the PS5 version but soon I decided against that, I wanted to enjoy the games that I was buying fully so went for the PS5 platinum first, does that mean I'm going for the PS4 one right after? Hell No! While I enjoyed this game and the new spin it took on what Spider-Man made great (even though this was half the lengh of that) I'm not sure I could do a 3rd and 4th run of the game so soon already so going to go and get the platinum of Nier: Automata before the new Nier gets released. Popular Post Phantochi
#229 - Unravel This game is absolutely brilliant. atmospheric, and emotional. Besides the monotonous mechanics, which does not change throughout the game, everything else works in this game, you have a touching and unusual protagonist, gorgeous picture, an interesting concept, great level design where each level is fresh and feels completely different, etc. This is a wonderful game for people who enjoy platformers with some puzzles. It looks beautiful, gameplay is fun so you shouldn't miss this little gem.
Popular Post arcanehornet_
Platinum #328: Sound Shapes + 100% This might be one of the most unique platformers I’ve played. Basically, the whole game is based on music. The areas you traverse are all moving with the music, and so do the enemies. The game has various worlds which have very different art styles and music by different artists. I definitely enjoyed the short 3 hour campaign. About the plat: It’s very frustrating and annoying. Once you beat the campaign for the first time, you unlock Death Mode. For those of you who don’t know, in this mode you need to collect a set amount of coins in a single “screen” before the time runs out, or before you die. The catch? The coins are all randomly generated. This means you can either have them spawn in a really convenient way not far from each other, or far away. This is what makes the mode insanely annoying and borderline rage inducing. In most levels, you’ll spend tens of minutes if not hours just waiting for the coins to spawn the right way. There’s not much skill involved, it all comes down to luck at the end. There’s 20 of these that you need to complete, and some of them took me more time than the entire campaign did. Big sigh of relief when I was finally done for sure. It’s a shame I can’t use the cloud save anymore to pop this plat in other regions, though. Then there’s Beat School mode, which is essentially a puzzle of trying to recreate a riff or beat. These are super easy with a guide and can be knocked out within 10 minutes or so. About the DLC: All 11 of them only involve the beat school again. Bring up a guide, and you’ll have all of these knocked out in an hour. Fun: 6-7/10 (death mode) Difficulty: 4.5/10 Time: 10 hours

Popular Post kindajustin
#24 - The Forest After watching some gameplay videos a year or so ago, I thought The Forest looked like a lot of fun to play but might get a little boring solo. I'm glad I finally decided to give it a shot because it really was a great time to play. If you enjoy indie survival games with a little bit of horror then you should consider trying this game out. It definitely isn't hard overall but I think it's a little harder than some guides might imply. The cannibals hit like trucks sometimes and move like Donnie Thornberry, so they make for an interesting fight. Add to that the very time-consuming Bad Father trophy and the game's handful of buggy trophies and in the end it has some challenges but is more fun and relaxing than anything. Added bonus, I love games that let me build and customize my own bases/living spaces. I expected this game to be fun but nothing special and it really surprised me. I played through most of the entire game with a friend and this was one of the most enjoyable co-op experiences in a long time for me. Getting chased across an island by an aggressive group of cannibals might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I've always liked survival games.

Popular Post StraightVege
Be Greater #267 | Marvel's Spider-Man Beyond watching the Saturday morning cartoon in childhood, I'm not really a Spidey fan, but I nevertheless dove in enthusiastically, with the hope that this game might serve as a suitable substitute for another Batman Arkham title. Thankfully, it scratched the itch quite well indeed! While I may not be terribly familiar with the characters, William Salyers outstanding performance as Otto Octavius truly impressed me, and his almost fatherly interplay with Parker is the main aspect which held my interest from a narrative standpoint. I can usually have myself a fun romp with superhero games, if I try my damnedest to ignore my incredulity at the idea that punching desperate criminals into a coma is a viable solution to crime, or even an ethical act, not to mention their valorization of police. Peter's constant wisecracking isn't always funny, but it was an enjoyable change of pace from the increasingly authoritarian Batman of the Arkham series, which was assuredly influenced by Frank Miller's fascistic take on the character (it's seeped into much of Batman media, unfortunately). Let's be honest: Arkham Knight's Batman in particular was kind of a prick, and Spidey's a hell of a lot more laid-back, besides being a cooler dude in general. Yes, openly caring about stuff instead of being an emotionally repressed edgelord is good, actually! Always wonderful to see a male protagonist who isn't afraid to show emotion. He's also just exhilarating to control, both in navigating the urban jungle and in frenetic fights, with my only real complaint being that he oftentimes wouldn't grab/throw the exact objects I intended. This iteration of the freeflow combat system is likely my favorite thus far—the sheer agility you possess is so satisfying. Sure, Spider-Man is loaded with the sort of repetitive open-world busywork I typically dislike, but the fast pace of web-slinging between messy fights, car chases, and a decent variety of other miscellaneous objectives prevented boredom from setting in. I greatly appreciated the accessibility options that allow one to disable QTEs and skip puzzles, neither of which I care to bother with in most action games. However, I do hope the battles will be more challenging on the Ultimate difficulty setting. Now, those dull stealth sections as anyone other than Spider-Man? Definitely the worst part of the experience, and may as well not be in the game at all. Glad they were short and easy. It's nice to be reminded that I'm still capable of liking a AAA game on occasion! I would definitely be interested in playing future installments. Need to start the DLC someday soon, too. Usually, I'm not into the open-world survival/crafting formula, but the setting was intriguing enough for me to add Subnautica to my list of games that deserve an eventual revisit for a proper playthrough. I almost feel guilty for not letting myself become engrossed in this one, honestly. Popular Post Ya_Boy_James
#46 - MAQUETTE All Done! You've unlocked all the trophies! This was a great game, free from a PS+ monthly but would have been worth a sale buy to me. The puzzles were satisfying, often focusing on clever interactions with a scale model of the map you're playing and its objects. The narrative thematically matches a lot of the "walking simulators" I've played in that it deals with material life experiences while you navigate a more abstract or metaphorical setting. It may or may not strike a chord, but in either case the thoughtful visual style and sound design sell the feel. Also my first platinum of 2021-- hard to believe it's already April!

Popular Post Gommes_
#128 Resident Evil 3 So long, RC So after the great game part 2 was I just had to buy Resident Evil 3 and see what this is like. And what can I say? I liked it a lot! I’ve heard that many people were not too fond of this one as it seemed rush and was lacking sections of the original game. While the actual play time is shorter it did not feel rushed to me. I absolutely enjoyed running through the streets of Racoon City, heck even seeing Jill’s apartment was great. Graphically it looked even better than the already stunning predecessor (maybe that’s just because of the more colorful environments though). The general atmosphere of the city was amazing, also because of the aforementioned environments. The city lights combined with the destruction of the city and the waves of zombies just worked for me. This part has no puzzles at all and the tiny ones which found a way into the game can be solved on the spot. No endlessly running around to carry one key to the other end of a section. Some people missed the puzzles in part 3. I did not. Especially if you play RE3 directly after 2 and can shoot your way towards the end credits. That is also the main difference between these two games. This one’s focus lays much more on action scenes than anything else. Speaking of, the game is also filled with cutscenes, which extend the playtime of a rather short game. They even recycled two levels from part 2 but I didn’t mind that at all, since I had a blast playing through that game. It looks stunning, sounds great, has an outstanding hit feedback and just a general flow I absolutely liked! The platinum is really fun too. While I would say that RE2 was the better game in general RE3 had the better platinum requirements. Grinding zombie waves to finally get that rocket launcher to play through that game again and again in record time was just pure joy. Oh, and the real nemesis of that game is that huge Charlie doll head on top of a toy shop. That thing killed me in every playthrough at least two times. Damn you Charlie!

Popular Post Masamune
End of the World View each and every possible outcome. Difficulty: 3/10 (on easy) Enjoyment: 8/10 Playtime: 31:59:34 (1 week, 3 days, 13 hours) Screenshot: I wanted to make this Clea, but I didn't do a good job of keeping track of my Glitch count (Al is good too though). ? The story on this surprised me (in more ways than one), they could've made the character endings a bit bigger (the main full ending is Shina's, & Lydia's was a joke), but overall it was really interesting & I enjoyed it. My main complaint was that one of my favorite characters didn't get an ending, best you get is the interaction with her during Shina's. ? & those death ends... damn. If you want to try this game out, just make sure you can stomach some dark shit, because some of them get really messed up (as you'll quickly learn from the opening). I heard the second game isn't as good story-wise, but I still want to get it just to see how it connects to this game. Gameplay was good, but not great (battles are like Neptunia, Fairy Fencer, etc.). I may've enjoyed it more if I didn't play on easy most of the time though (or as I call it: "VN Mode" ), that makes most of the game a joke (to where you can one-shot bosses on your first move). As for trophies... there's nothing difficult enough worth mentioning (a few missables due to dialog choices, but you can save during most scenes).
Popular Post acidkai_ak
#32-35: Trails of Cold Steel I-IV Cold Steel Conqueror The Ashen Chevalier A Flash of Light Divine Blade Started this game after played The Trails in the Sky and Trails from Zero series. To keep it simple, a great modern JRPG that never gets boring. Awesome OST Stories involving real world situations (Economy, Politics, Military, etc.) Variety of fun and broken gameplays (ex. delay enemies so they never get a turn, 100% evade and counter enemies with critical hits, break system *ironic*, etc.) Mech fights Excellent VA English dubbing Character Development (even NPCs) Picking your Waifu or Brofu (I've picked Sara. My favorite drinking Instructor.) My only complaint is that this series went too long and could've been condensed to 2 games. And the story was, in my biased opinion, a little disappointing at the end of the series. But overall, I've had fun with this series and I respect Falcom company to put so much content in each game. So much that ToCS 3 game alone has over 1.1 million words localized, which is equivalent to all 7 Harry Potter books combined. Crazy.
