Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #134 King of the Monstrums Finish "Balduq Prison" by Adol Christin in its entirety by earning all Trophies. This one is for all of you that say that I've never read a book ? I was very happy with this one, they really improved their level design and the new powers are lots of fun to use. And this is the first Ys game that I'd say has a good story. It's very poorly told with garbage pacing and plot points that don't really matter, but there are some very cool stuff in here. Shame the game is a bit ugly; not "I don't wanna look at this shit" ugly, but it doesn't look great compared to Ys VIII. But it does like the game drags on more than it should, which is a bit funny since the game is actually shorter than 8. I think it's the long ass cutscenes without voice acting, there's too much of those here. Funny how Cold Steel IV took me 140 hours to complete and I was ready to play for another 100 easy, while this one that took me 50 hours I was dragging myself to play it. But when the game is good, the game is good. Wanted to share my platinum video too; not to keen on doing that most of the time, but this one came out amazing, even if it is a big spoiler
Popular Post Ghost
Master of Crashes Platinum difficulty rating - 3/10 Enjoyment - 8/10 Total play hours - 25 hours I had fun with this one. Nothing too hard as you can play on easy and set the game-play to realistic so the AI gets wrecked faster. The last championship had events with 12 laps so it was annoying to get wrecked and having to start over. It's a damn shame you have to pay $10 to get the PS5 upgrade. WTF...? Tony Hawk and now this.Platinum image: Spoiler Edited April 16, 2021 by Ghost
Popular Post Viper
#226 Metro: Last Light Redux Platinum Trophy Another fun Metro game, though it felt a little easier and less tedious trophy wise than 2033. However story wise, it didn't feel quite as impactful. I've had this sitting on the PS4 for years now as I played 2033 back in 2018, but bought Metro: Exodus in a recent sale so I figured it was time to get to this one. I mentioned the trophy tedium...as with 2033 your first playthrough (the one you're going to get the bulk of the trophies in) you spend a lot of time worrying about Moral points (which are specific tasks you need to do in each level to get an untrackable sound and visual effect that gets you to the "good" ending, these are never obvious things though) and making sure you don't miss a level specific trophy....so 2033 felt like you didn't have a lot of time to focus on just playing the game because every time you turn around there's something trophy wise you had to pay attention to. Last Light is the same...but it doesn't feel as cluttered in that regard, there's more time to enjoy what you're playing. First playthrough (which was my stealth playthrough) was pretty long though...there's 30 missions to do, so stealthing your way through can take awhile. The second, Survival/Guns blazing playthrough was a bit more fun because you can just kill everyone. This Plat did require playing through the DLC missions though...and most of those were rather annoying. This is the kind of DLC I probably wouldn't have bothered with, had I needed to buy it.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #274: Rayman Origins (April 10th, 2021) Difficulty: 6/10 Excitement Rating: 9/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 12 - 15 Hours Hardest Trophy: Nitro! ( Earned ALL speed trophies! ) Hands down one of the best platformers on the PS Vita. I picked the Vita version over the PS3 version because the Vita as a whole is just more convenient. I don't need to sit in my bedroom/gaming room and hook up an old console and swap between that and the PS4. Bought a sealed physical copy of Rayman Origins off of eBay for $19.99. Considering the situation the PS Vita is in right now with some games (Persona 4 Golden) costing a fucking fortune, this was practically a steal. In regards to the game, this was a marvelous port. It took a few months for owners of the handheld to get this game back in 2012. Too many games suffer from bad framerate and bad controls (Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank), the Vita itself was a victim of several. Rayman Origins runs beautifully and looks beautiful, framesolid is solid, loading times are minimum and gameplay is buttery smooth. The platinum itself is not an easy one. You have to speed run thru most of the levels of the game with a few having almost no room for error. The final two levels in the final area of the game took a lot of practice. The Land of the Livid Dead was easily the hardest level in the game, as precision and good platforming was required. Numerous and generous checkpoints lowered the overall difficulty rating. Rayman Origins challenges the player but it never feels unfair. For anyone wanting to play this gem I definitely recommend picking it up, as the PS3/Vita store closure announcement has seen more people playing on their older systems to grab what is available while it's still there. Rayman 3 HD and Rayman Legends I will be playing eventually, as I plan to do the Rayman franchise to its fullest. Popular Post driscio
# 34 Red Dead Redemption (PS3) This game is one of the reasons I bought a PS3. It has the first trophy I earned and is also the longest gap I have between starting a game and 100% completing it. I actually saved the platinum until it was the last trophy I could earn to get to 100% by not doing the mounted weapon kills one in the base game. The multiplayer can be a little scuffed and some of the DLC is a bastard (looking at you lady gaga reference) but this game is amazing even 10 years after release. For a PS3 game it looks incredible, Rockstar has always been good at open world stuff but the fact that you can ride from one end of the map to the other with multiple events happening along the way at a consistent framerate is nuts for something the size of this on the PS3. Undead Nightmare may be the best DLC I have ever played. I love this game and now that it's done I can finally progress past the first chapter in RDR2. Yee-Haw.

Popular Post kindajustin
#25 - Horizon Zero Dawn When I first played Horizon Zero Dawn four years ago (before I really cared about trophy hunting) it was almost my second platinum, but I put it down unfinished for a few different reasons. The complete edition being free soon was enough incentive to finally return to this game and I'm very happy to have notched it as my 25th platinum. It was honestly one of the first games I really loved when I picked up a PS4. I'm a bit of a sucker for open world games, and this one really didn't disappoint. The combat was fun and engaging enough to hold my attention well, which I can't say about every game. The game world was beautiful which made the combat more immersive while also making general exploration a real joy. The story was admittedly a bit dull at times, but overall was pretty good and I liked the game's take on the "human-made machine technology causes the end of the world" theme. Most of the game's characters didn't leave much of an impression on me, but as a main character, I thought Aloy was awesome. She was a lot of fun to control as I ran, jumped, and crawled my way to every next objective. I had a great time being reminded of why I enjoyed this game so much years ago and am definitely looking forward to a New Game+ run as well as the DLC soon. Edit: Didn't plan this, but I also thought it was cool that my platinum screenshot is a picture of me picking up an artifact called "My Claim." Popular Post Lance_87
#36: Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (2017) - Champion of Ivalice 14 years later, it's still one of the hugest JRPGs i've ever played. Trophies were a breeze, except maybe for that damn Quickening-related one... even getting all items was easier compared to the original, thanks to the quadruple speed, new treasures, and some exploits here and there. When i was overleveled in the main story, i used inferior equipment on purpose to artificially balance the difficulty lmao. It took me around 200-ish hours even with increased speed, in the original i think i spent 350 hours but across several months due to real life. Popular Post Anxiety
The Forest: Platinum #131 First Trophy: Camp Out Last Trophy: Vegan Platinum Percentage: 4.48% Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 - Really enjoyed this one especially since I got to play it with a really good friend the whole way through, we had amazing laughs and a really good time! Time: 90-100+ Hours! 30+ hours for Bad Father, 3+ hours for Don’t save the Forest (What a grind) Overall: Overall The Forest is an amazing game to play with friends and build stuff on the island. The game can be a bit glitchy at times but overall it’s an amazing experience. I would 100% recommend this game to everyone to play with friends just be warned about the long ass grind and the buggy trophies. Some trophies are host only (Splatter) and some trophies can only be done in singleplayer. The “Bad Father” trophy can take up to 30-40 hours to complete to get the 100 days without finding your son. “Chop down a 1000 trees” has to be done in one sitting and be warned the game can get very glitchy by blowing up 1000 trees. Overall it’s an amazing game with an amazing story and a good as hell game to play with friends. I wanted to get the platinum back to back with @kindajustin but the Vegan trophy didn’t pop sadly for some reason. Oh well we technically did do it back to back! I really enjoyed this one! I’ll drop some screenshots of me and my friend playing! Edited April 17, 2021 by Anxiety
Popular Post slender_adrian
#64 - Demon´s Souls Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Time: 64 hours Umbasa, Slayer of Demons GAME THOUGHTS Honestly I had never played this game before and I have never being into the Souls series, so I decided to get into this games and of course I had to start with this one. The moment I first played it I felt in love with this game, it´s so amazing, the environment, the soundtrack it´s absurdly incredible. This is one of those games that I´d do it again and again with no problems. My favorite bosses are Maneater and Tower Knight and my favorite location was Tower of Latria, I loved the theme for Maiden Astrea is one of the best boss theme I´ve ever heard. One of the downside of getting this platinum it's the ridiculous amount of time you need to spent farming, basically the game is 90% Farming and 10% actually playing the game. Besides that this game is amazing totally recommend it. THE TROPHY HUNT I wanted to enjoy this game and experience the "infamous" Souls difficulty, so for my first playthrough I simply go ahead without caring about any trophies. All the trophies were really easy to get but there was only one trophy that really drove me mad, and it was Master Slasher's Trophy, for me this one was the hardest trophy in the game, I had to farm for 5 hours straight to get the last stone needed to upgrade one weapon (Pure Bladestone). Besides that particular trophy, the rest was really simple and straight foward. This is one of my favorites plats, it´s and amazing game I´ll totally recommend it, if you have a PS3 go for this classic it´s totally worth it! Popular Post its_ArchroniX
Rise of the Tomb Taider - Platinum 0.4% on Console - 7.06% on PSN You unlocked every trophy in the game An absolute gorgeous game in every sense. Really enjoyed getting this game on platinum although the score attack trophies were infuriating at some times but they were doable. Story wise the game isn't bad either. I haven't played any other Tomb Raider games before so I don't know how it holds up against the older/ newer ones but I'd say it offers a story interesting enough that it doesn't get boring. Now the base game + platinum has 66 trophies while all DLC combined have a total of 59 trophies so I'm not 100% done with the game yet But since almost all of the score attacks (except the Baba Yaga ones) are done I'm going to really enjoy the DLC trophies! Again, great game and I'd recommend it to everyone looking for a good open world game with some survival elements and an interesting story.

Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#292 - Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World Well here it is, finally after all these years - In all honesty it wasn't all that bad, but it wasn't good either. Platinum itself was easy, that is if you keep tabs on everything you collect, in this case Skits and Captured monsters. Once one of them were at 99% you start wondering which ones you need. In monster case it didn't take too long to get the last one even though i marked them as i Evolved them, even then i missed one somewhere, as for skits, thankfully they were marked as to which ones i needed, so once it got to 99% i had two skits left, so either one or both of them was what i needed ( Exactly , Both the Problem ), i had to do a mini 5th play-through up to 3rd chapter to get the last Skit. But once it popped it felt just good and also Both the Problem was glitched so i had to NOT carry over battle info, and escape 5 times when both party members are available - got that in Tower of Mana. Overall the game is way too easy compared to original, NG+ is a joke even on Mania/Unknown difficulties. Marta is too OP ;d, the spams with Photon and Divine Saber i did reminded me of Rita spamming Tidal Wave And i've got JP stack of this in wait too now, but dunno when i will get to that, i would like to play ToV ps3 version first before that. Pretty happy about the Platinum. Spoiler Here's Emil

I’m happy to see you enjoyed the experience so much. Demon’s Souls is a game that is very dear to my heart. It was my first platinum trophy ever, and I enjoyed the process of beating it and obtaining all the trophies so much that it thrust me headfirst into the world of trophy hunting right after I finished. When I get a PS5 one day down the line, I plan to make the remake my first next-gen platinum, both for the symbolism and so I can try to recreate the magic of that first experience! Popular Post MissShake
#56: Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn A Realm Restored Obtain all available FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn trophies. I can't believe I finally got this one done. Leves are awful, FATEs aren't really that fun either, but as a whole I really enjoyed getting this plat done! This might be my favorite Final Fantasy games that I've played, which is saying a lot because I wasn't sure if I could bring myself to pay for an MMO, but the entire package is so excellent that I can't say I regret it even a little. The story (in Shadowbringers) is probably one of the best in the series, and the game is so fun when you have a group of friends to mess around with. I had so much time in this game not even for the trophies, but just because I was enjoying my time with the game. That doesn't mean the list is really all that bad though. Much like the genre it's a part of it's fairly grindy, but what I like about it is that it makes you see a huge variety of what the game has to offer. You have to craft, gather, affix materia, and of course, battle. If a list is going to be grindy, I think it should definitely give you a variety of what can be seen in game, so while some people might not be a fan I think this is a pretty fun list. Now, I'm not sure if I'm going to be getting a PS5, but if I do... (Savage raids, though. Woof. I might have played this a fair amount, but I don't know if I'm good enough for Savages.) Side note: It's also my birthday, so this was a good gift to myself If you wanna see my character, I have links to some of my glamors in the spoiler tag!
