Popular Post HazyDie
#4 MudRunner (PS4) Master Logger A charming off-road simulator that has its moments but is not too exciting. I do not yet fully appreciate slow-paced games. Backstory: I was lucky enough to get a PS5 back in December and I absolutely love this platform! Earning Trophies and getting platinum is certainly very fun. PS5 is my first stationary console and I had a good start with Astro's Playroom and the first two Watch Dogs games. My goal is to play more PS5 versions of games, because otherwise my PS5 would feel betrayed. Now I got a lot of games to catch up to. But I don't like to start many at the same time, so I will do it in order. I also don't like Battle Royale, so I wouldn't play a game that is just that (unless it's somehow good). Next up is Bugsnax and Control. Edited June 20, 2021 by HazyDie Updated platinum image to be higher resolution and updated layout.
Popular Post its_ArchroniX
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Platinum Trophy 2.8% on Console - 13.41% on PSN Collected all other Diablo III: Reaper of Souls trophies. What started as a fun and entertaining game turned into one of the biggest grinds I ever did. It's a fun game don't get me wrong. Blizzard did a hell of a job with Diablo III! But after completing the story with 2 characters (softcore and hardcore) you've probably seen it all. Not to mention you need to get 6 characters to level 70. Luckily there's still some people online playing rifts and boosting isn't too hard but still, it takes you a good while. Nevertheless a great game which I recommend if you like hack n' slash games! I'd rate it at a 6/10 difficulty because it's not too hard but it's more tedious and I'd give it a 6/10 as well for enjoyment. I should mention, the DLC trophies (which aren't required for the platinum trophy) are just a PAIN as they require a ridiculous amount of kills with skills that are really unreliable. I personally hate having a platinum but not 100% so I'm going to play the DLC anyway. Edited April 23, 2021 by its_ArchroniX
Popular Post KabbageDetective
#67 - BioShock 2 Remastered - Platinum Trophy "Unlocked All Trophies" PSNP Completion - 20.26%, Overall Completion - 3.2% Damn, I actually got this one (almost) completely by accident. Figured I'd turn Vita-Chambers off for 'Big Brass Balls ' and thought "Well if I wanted to platinum this in the future I've gotten the hardest part out of the way," but aside from going out of my way for '9-Irony ' due to playing this game back in the day on Xbox 360 I ended up nabbing every other one just by playing. Admittedly part of this is due to BioShock 2's linearity in comparison to the first but considering a lot of the trophies are geared towards exploring every nook and cranny of what is there I'd say it just proves how well BioShock 2 has held up and, in my opinion, is the best BioShock game. Difficulty - 3/10 Yeah if you want to get the platinum in one playthrough you have to both A: Play the game on hard and B: Play without what are essentially checkpoints but hard honestly isn't that difficult with the right loadout and whilst no Vita-Chambers seems daunting at first you soon realise you can manually save and that almost entirely negates their purpose. I'd argue finding enough audio logs for their respective trophy is the hardest part if you don't have the keenest of eyes. Enjoyment - 9/10 I always liked BioShock 2 and it seems that appreciation has grown with time. Don't get me wrong, I like all the BioShock games, even Infinite, but I think BioShock 2 has the most refined gameplay, the most consistently quality (albeit more simple) narrative and of course, the most enjoyable platinum to obtain. Now it's just a matter of getting everything done in the DLCs!
Popular Post JaneAusten69
#86 - Red Dead Redemption 2 (also, 5,000th trophy!) Difficulty 4/10 Enjoyment 10/10 Finally, finished this one after 2 years and 5 months. Better than the first Red Dead that took me 7 years and 7months to complete. So in all, a solid decade to plat this series haha. Got burnt out on the 70 gold medals back when this first came out. I think I had about 30 of them completed. Went to go finish them a few weeks ago and realized that they had made an update that allowed you to carry over gear, health, etc. Really made these missions a lot less frustrating. Actually enjoyed going for the gold medals after not playing the game for almost 2 years. It was fun to experience some of the story again since I had forgotten a lot of things that happened in the game. When I first attempted these it was less fun seeing the same scenes and conversations over and over when replaying missions. I know people hate on the online portion of this game, but I still regard this as one of the best games I've ever played. Worked out nicely that I could make the plat my 5,000th trophy as well. First time I've ever tried to plan a milestone.

Popular Post guy_flies
I've had two over the weekend. Outriders "The Vanguard of Humanity" and Little Nightmares 2 "Prime Content Consumer" Outriders It was fine. The first looter shooter I've played and I mostly enjoyed it. I actually thought the story was the strongest part. I'm not an online gamer but I did enjoy joining a couple of other players to clear an arena with a few bosses in it. The server issues were frustrating and I got booted out of the game several times while in the single player campaign and then couldn't get back as it falls in to a spiral logging me back in. Little Nightmares 2 Beautiful in a creepy, unsettling way. Really good story telling without ever saying a word. Very quick to finish and platinum. My only issue in an otherwise fantastic game were the awkward controls. Simple things like jumping a gap, or walking along a pipe, were often frustrating and combined with a fixed camera and lots of environment objects to get snagged on made chase sequences needlessly complex.

Popular Post Duffcar
#162 - The Godfather II Honestly such a fun game and overall platinum experience! Decent story tied into the movies, fun gameplay and an engaging mob view system. Very happy to have added this to my collection, glad it was suggested to me in the ‘Advised the Next Platinum to the person Above’ thread by DivMuzza.

Popular Post Ghost
Just in time to watch the Mortal Kombat movie (after this post). NetherRealm studios did an amazing job with this one. The graphics were fantastic. The story was great. The gameplay was fast, fluid and satisfying. The sheer amount of customization features of skins and gear was surprising and impressive. Even exploring the Krypt was fun. In terms of trophies, it was fairly easy. The strategy tutorials was the only challenging part but I had prior knowledge of the past games so it wasn't too hard. It took a few attempts on some of them and it took me 2 hours to finish it all. One of my favorite fighters next to the Street Fighter series. I had a blast playing this even with the grind. Total play time was 47 hours. Popular Post Sylvanticore
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice [European Version] #30: Done Collect all of the other trophies Even though this was quite an easy platinum I feel like this is a game that people need to experience, the story telling was really good and was nice to learn some Nord lore along the way. A few things did creep me out there with the game such as the voices you hear through the game but I understand that is what people suffering with psychosis go through, the other thing was hoow Senua almost looks at you in the cutscenes, very creepy. Combat was okay if not very simple but again I still say this is a good that people need to experience... what to platinum next? no idea has I have trouble enough sticking to one game at a time..
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#156 Mafia Remake Mafia 1 pits you in the shoes of a regular cabbie who got introduced into the criminal underworld after being held at gun-point and forced to help two mafia members escape away from a rival mafia group. Based on from what I've seen from the original, the remake is very solid with some pretty impressive revamped graphics and motion capture so Hangar13 did a solid job there. The cars also have lots of weight to them which sorta reminded me of GTA IV's driving physics. There are a bunch of cool cars to collect and I surprisingly liked finding and test driving them just because the car designs were awesome looking. However... there are a crap ton of collectibles and I really could've went without having to find so many fox statues and comics, more comics and more and more comics... Felt like it was unimaginative and a way to artificially extend the playtime. I can't on earth understand why they didn't add trophies related to the already present secret/side missions that you can do instead of finding a bajillion collectibles.. oh well I guess. And lastly, shooting is alright and does the job but there's nothing really impressive about it and I would've wished for more gunplay variety or gun variations tbh. Regardless though, the game is worth experiencing for the story alone because it was phenomenal. The ending was one of those that makes you for a lack of better words, go "Ooooohh Shit!" . Can't really say much without venturing into spoiler territory here but as usual, the mafia writers are excellent at delivering solid stories (and yes that includes Mafia III imo) which was further elevated by the bombastic orchestral music. For instance, the part from 3:58 - 5:28 is some of the best feeling you'll get when you're getting sprayed by a fudge-ton of tommy-gun-wielding crooks . Spoiler Overall, I'd say Mafia has a solid story, awesome soundtrack that complements the action quite well which is worth experiencing but it comes short in terms of having meaningful gameplay variety once the story is over. Anyway, onto the next! Edited April 24, 2021 by PooPooBlast
Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #508: Nights of Azure (PS4) A limited A-RPG. Not as polished as others in the genre (YS, Xanadu and so on). Still I found the enjoyable. Apart from the Final Boss before Nightmare Form unlock, and some Arena challenges. It was quite easy. First time I played a Japanese Dev Game that had a Yuri Couple (No Kissing, but it Very Close Friendship or Romance). Vague enough, you don't really know. There are 5 endings ( All of which depends on your relationship with Lily). Looking forward to playing the sequel. Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
Whoa whoa whoa, easy there, pardner: "vegetarian"?!! That's it, he went too far! "Platinum Trophy" How original. 4.16% Rarity Decent game although VERY short by today's standards, it consists of only 8 misisons, uneven in lenght (some are very short, some are long, I recommend buying the season pass when its on sale, that way you'll have 4 more missions to play. Got it for 6 dollars) that tell a very generic story filled with generic characters. It's all about the gameplay, and there's a lot of fun to be had on that regard. Gameplay wise it isn't your usual shooty tooty military action game (maybe on easy), it's more like a sim and that's what separates it from the rest. Difficulty wise it isn't that bad. Sure, Authentic and Authentic+ (if you're going for 100%) are a pain but very doable. Game Rating: 7/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 Time to platinum: 40 hours Also did all of the DLCs, most are easy and have no difficulties (nor collectibles, yay!) associated with trophies. Except for the free update... Authentic+ is no joke. Get yourself a good teammate and conquer the hardest thing the game has to offer. 100% Rating: 7/10 100% Difficulty: 7/10 Time to 100%: 25 hours (?)(greatly skill dependant) If you look at my profile, you'll see that It took me over 3 months to plat / 100% this, but fret not! It is because my co-op partner and I had quite the conflicting schedules. Ah yes, adult life and trophy hunting... As a side note, I guess I was lucky by picking their only 100% that isn't cancer? Sniper Elite 3's DEFINITIVE EDITION is missing important dlc with trophies and don't even get me started on the shitshow that is Zombie Army 4's 100%. Did you know that the X-ray on a testicle kill on Hitler will only show one testicle?? Such attention to detail! Popular Post TheArcadeKid
#208 - Pacer Disappointingly mixed feelings about this one. If you don't know what it is, it's a Wipeout-style racer that was advertised as exactly that: a spiritual successor to Wipeout. But unlike that series, Pacer is just a fundamentally unsatisfying experience. Controlling your ship isn't exactly difficult, but not once did I feel I was actually getting better at it. Even after 5 hours, 10 hours, 15 hours, I was still bouncing off walls, missing pick-ups and grinding against rails. I don't know exactly what it is about the controls - maybe it's just my own failure - but I can't help feel that something's off. The same goes for pretty much the rest of the game: nothing really sticks. The music is fine, but I don't think there's a single track I'd want to listen to outside of the game (and there's like 80 different tracks, so that's even more disappointing). Weapon/performance loadouts and upgrades are vaguely intriguing, but mostly irrelevant. And the trophy list has an offensively grindy trophy for travelling 40,000 km. For reference, by the time you finish the entire 7-8 hour campaign, you'll probably just barely be pushing 5,000 km. Strangely enough, I'd say the single best thing about this game is the visuals, which are genuinely impressive. The campaign itself is enjoyable while it lasts, but it's not massively exciting. I am glad I supported Pacer, because I think the team did their best. But sometimes things just don't pan out. Wipeout 2.0, this ain't.
groomyboy
SPACE OVERLORDUnlock All Trophies Space Overlords (PS4) - Achievers at time of plat: 307 // Rarity: 2.16% Whilst it still has to go down as one of the worst PS Plus games ever, I was fortunate to not experience any glitches, and the grind was a lot quicker than expected! To give some credit to the game, the first couple of planets were quite frustrating, but the later levels were much simpler, and the boss battles are a breeze if you can locate the obelisk. During the 250k destroyed buildings grind, I rewatched Project X and Inglorious Basterds, as well as some of the Developer reacts to Speedruns videos to pass the time. If you are going through your game library and want a fairly simple but rare plat whilst enjoying something else at the same time, I highly recommend this game!
Popular Post Viscera1900
#294 - Mortal Kombat 11 (PS5) Elder God "Komplete all trophies" Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 15 hours (Playtime) / 3 days, 17 hours Thanks to my save progress from PS4 version; I was able to complete PS5 version of Mortal Combat 11 much faster. Even with your old save data; it still takes about 10-15 hours to achieve a platinum trophy from this game, since you need to redo all online trophies, Klassic Tower, Fatality & Brutality trophies. The game is still enjoyable as ever; I actually had fun re-earning those online trophies, usually that's not the case. Popular Post arcanehornet_
#332~ Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back I’ve had this in my backlog for a very long time now. Recently I decided to revisit this game and try to plat it again. I had an absolute blast! This game has some of the best levels in the entire series. Very satisfying controls too, with the sprint boots and slide jump especially. About the plat: There’s really not much to say, because it’s so straightforward. You just beat the game, collect all the gems for breaking boxes and other tasks, and then do the gold time trial relics. The hardest part of this was definitely the relic time trials, but I actually found them to be pretty easy for the most part. Only levels I’ve hated were Piston it Away and Cold Hard Crash. All the others I got within a few attempts. Trying to plat Crash 1 right now, it’s way more punishing than Crash 2 but I think I’ll be able to do it. Thanks for reading! Popular Post Phantochi
#233 - GRIS A walking simulator that will make you cry. Gris is a visually beautiful game, where you have to experience the journey of a young girl, traveling inside her own world, full of pain and sorrow. Even though it's beautiful, and full of emotion, you only walk right, with a few jumps here and there, i mean, i was constantly asking myself: why am i spending three hours watching Gris, when i could be watching the new Mortal Kombat movie? I don't want a crazy challenge, but c'mon, i also don't want to let the right key pressed while i just watch random art happens for 3 hours.
