vinicius2323
#49- Batman: Arkham Knight The base game is not difficult to complete. Compared to Arkham City, the combat system has been considerably downgraded, but nothing to get in the way of understanding how the new mechanism works. The biggest challenge in the game is found in the community challenge DLC

Popular Post GoonerLukeThe
13 hours ago, Ghost said: Developed by Dotemu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games. Thanks to these guys it was nice to feel the nostalgia of having a Genesis when I was a child in the mid 90's. Gameplay was great, bosses were fun to fight, and it was fun to link combos together. Some enemies were very annoying though. I have to praise the level of detail on the stages. They did a fantastic job with that, the new music soundtrack and having the option to selecting the old school soundtrack. It was a challenging I did everything solo and my total playtime was 59 hours. I struggled particularly with getting S ranks of Stage 4, 9 and 12. It was pretty tough to keep a combo going on those levels. Beating hard mode in one shot without getting Game Over was challenging, but using Axel Stone from SOR1 was very helpful. I had a blast playing it, the grind toward to end to get 5 million points was boring however as I finished everything with 4 million points. Now I look forward to DotEmu's next release: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge fair play for getting the plat on this, especially solo I've been hoping to get matched with a streets of rage 4 god randomly online

Fallout 4 pits you in the shoes of a vault dweller whose son (Shaun , *heavy rain flashbacks*) got kidnapped and you have to venture into the wasteland to find him. Story was pretty decent but I find that as usual with Bethesda games, the lack of cutscenes and a crap ton of dialogue especially in the midst of shooting and looting, causes many plot details or "emotional" moments to go over someone's head. That's not why you'd play this game however. The exploration in the game was some of the best I've ever experienced. There are soooooo many buildings and places that you can enter in the wasteland. It's packed full of explorable areas and missions that even with my play time, I'd wager I only finished about 55-60% of it. So this was definitely a strong pro about the game. Not to mention, the ambient soundtrack was top notch and felt incredibly atmospheric. It was so easy to get lost in the world and spend 45mins to an hour on just one building.. And the weapons and upgrading said weapons were also done well. Nothing feels gratifying as much as using my LEGENDARY BIG BOY NUKE WITH A MIRV UPGRADE. Basically, the legendary status added 2 nukes for one nuke and the MIRV upgrade multiplied everything by 4. So I was essentially shooting 8 nukes . Easily my favourite weapon in the game. If that sounds cool you can go to 1:08 in the video below . Trophy wise, it's relatively straight forward as long as you pay attention to the missables. As for the DLCs, the worst trophy had to be gathering 100,000 tickets from the Nuka arcade. No idea why they made a grindy trophy from such a mundane activity. Thankfully the internet found a somewhat bizarre exploit and so here's me literally teabagging the arcade machine all while getting tickets at a much faster pace than what Bethesda had originally and intentionally programmed . If that's not poetic justice then I don't know what is! Hide contents All in all, fallout 4 was a pretty solid experience. Would definitely recommend! Very great review and you got me amped to play it! It’s sitting pretty in my backlog. Love Bethesda games!
Popular Post Viscera1900
#297 - Mass Effect: Legendary Edition N7 Elite "ME1: Acquire all trophies" Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Platinum Completion time: 27 hours (in game) / 3 days, 9 hours Last time played this 8 years ago. It was amazing to revisit this game after all those years; it rekindled my love for Mass Effect series and I can't wait to replay the rest of ME games. One thing I have to say about playing this game on PS5: loading times are so fast and smooth!!! Good bye to 1-2 minutes elevator moments! Trophy wise it's easier and less time consuming to complete compared to PS3 version; completing the game on "Insanity" difficulty is no longer required for platinum trophy

Difficulty 3.5/10 Total time to platinum ~15hrs. If it wasn't for Oddworld: Soulstorm nostalgic hype this game would probably be the biggest game of the year for me. I've had so much fun playing this with my friend. If you have a friend, boyfriend or girlfriend or anyone who likes an amazing story play it with them. It's just a great story, amazing graphics and a lot of fun!! 10/10 all the way
Popular Post jukejointjesibel
#111 Ark Survival Evolved Time: 9 hours (with cheats) Difficulty: 2/10 (with cheats) Rating: 3/10 The only good this game does is let me live my childhood fantasy of riding dinosaurs and having dinosaurs as pets. I intended to play this to see if the cheats did work and to see if it could be added to the weekend co-op with the girlfriend rotation. I did not expect such catastrophic lag. Any time I got near a dino, the frame rate would plummet. Having two or more, especially with taming them all, made it drop to one frame at a time. Literally everything made it lag. Then there's the lack of controller response. Everything required two to eight button presses just to register. I often spawned dinos and items multiple times out of frustration, also toggled the cheats multiple times. There was also an issue with the camera frequently drifting to the left on a recently cleaned controller. The platinum is pretty easy, not gonna lie. But the game...sheesh.
Popular Post TheArcadeKid
#212 - Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO The handling in this game will probably come as a shock to anyone who's familiar with the WRC games. It definitely feels more sim than arcade - but having never driven a rally car in real life, I can't say how realistic it actually is. Still, when it clicks (if it clicks - I have a feeling a lot of players never warm up to the controls), it makes for an extremely satisfying experience. You really have to take momentum and weight into account when playing this game. It takes a long time to master - at least 10 hours - but once you do, it's well worth it. If you can't manage to keep your car on the track though, things can go tits-up pretty quickly. The physics in this game aren't the best, and it's bizarrely easy to defy gravity by shooting halfway up a hill if you veer off the track. Sometimes you're alright, and sometimes you aren't - either way, it's not great for a game that presumably favours realism. There's also a handful of cars that I can't for the life of me control properly. I sympathise with anyone who used those cars too early in the game, because it probably made them rage-quit for good. There's plenty of content in the game, with loads of unique races (well, unique in the checklist kind of way anyway, which is fine by me). Unlike WRC, this doesn't feel like a grind. I hadn't even completed every single race in Career mode by the time I got the platinum - although admittedly, at that point I'd kind of had enough, so I left it there. If you like driving games - especially rally games - and you're willing to learn how to control these cars for the first two or three hours, this one comes recommended.
Popular Post Icebrand1270
Platinum 158 Mass Effect (PS4 Legendary Edition) 5/19/2021 Mass Effect has returned... and I have the Platinum for it! A truly immortal series that needs no introduction but probably deserves a ton of them anyway. Thrilling action, tough decisions, unforgettable characters and vicious enemies. This is the game that started it all! As for improvements, there are... a few. Other then the graphical facelift the Mako got a little easier to drive but I still flipped over more than I'd like to admit (Hello, force field...oops!) Still, who didn't want to play this legendary series again? On to the differences in the trophy list! As you may know by now, the trophy list is a bit unusual for this collection. It features trophies for each game and "Bonus Trophies" for the trilogy as a whole in a Non-Plat 100% format, such as kills, romance, Insanity runs and playing the trilogy with the same character (Long Service Medal). The upside is that Insanity difficulty is not required for Plat in the PS4 version. Other trophies, such as Extreme Power Gamer, Rich and Tactician, also were removed. Even better, the biotic and tech abilities can be earned via commanding squadmates to do the specified attacks (ex. Kaidan doing Neural Shock, Liara doing Singularity, Tali doing AI Hacking) and the requirements have been reduced by 50%. Paragon and Renegade have been replaced with Principled (75% with either alignment). Even the infamous "ally" trophies require 5 missions instead of 50 with each teammate. In short, with some forward planning 1 playthrough will get you all trophies. Of course, many players will still go after romance or Insanity trophies. I know I'll play as classes other than Soldier later down the line to see what I missed on my former ID (some male and some as "FemShep" of course). This is Mass effect after all! Well everybody, I'm off to play Mass Effect 2! Happy Hunting!

Popular Post Duffcar
#163 - Battlefield 1 Coming back to this one after finishing all the multiplayer and DLC years ago was actually a great deal of fun. Replaying the campaign missions on hard, collecting the field manuals is originally missed and of course the mostly cruisey but occasionally nightmare inducing codex challenges. I hope when I reminisce about this game in the future I think fondly of The Runner story and how truly great I thought it was. Although I do fear the first thing that will come to mind is that, “I’m a stand-up kind of guy!”

Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #190: Moss (PS4 VR) Definitely a recommend if you have a VR headset. Probably one of the best VR games I have played at this point. The puzzles weren't too difficult and the combat for it was simplistic but not down to the level where you aren't thinking about what is happening around you. My only complaint is how short the game is (a few hours of gameplay, but being VR I can understand not doing the whole game in one session). They also leave a cliffhanger at the ending, so they definitely set themselves up with the idea of a sequel (hopefully it does happen). Although I got this during the Play at Home event for free (to be honest initially probably wouldn't have bought it at launch price), it was still very enjoyable and a high recommend.
Popular Post Feiryn-
#47 - Mass Effect: Legendary Edition I know it's only a video game, but the Mass Effect saga has always been extremely important to me, it helped me going through tough stuff when I was in middle school and I've learnt a lot while playing this game too. I grew up with it also, so that helps (I was only 10 when the first game was released and 15 when ME3 came out). I've been a fan of this licence for more than 10 years now and I was really looking forward to its remasters: it did not disappoint. It felt like coming back home again, seeing old family members you haven't seen in a while. I don't really know what to say except that I like playing this game, while ME1 is (in my opinion) the "less good" (dunno if it's grammatically correct to say that?) game, it's still one hell of an experience. BioWare made the trophy list a lot easier than before, though, I wouldn't be able to say if it pleases me or not. But oh well, the game doesn't change, it's still great
Popular Post daniezutton
#107 via Stranded Deep Stay Alive! One of the PlayStation Plus games available for May was Stranded Deep. I typically lack the enthusiasm and interest in the Survival genre, aside from No Man's Sky. By no means am I saying this game should be purchased at full price, but for free or discounted? For sure! Stranded Deep seemed to have a bad reputation, and admittedly, the game has a few glitches but nothing game breaking. I managed to not only enjoy my time playing a game within a genre I generally would not enjoy, I captured the Platinum trophy with just one playthrough! That was actually a huge relief because one of my trophy pets peeves or multiple playthroughs. Stranded Deep has inspired me to play more Survival games in the future! Platinum Time: 2 Weeks, 1 Day In Game Days: 83 Days Enjoyment: 8/10 The biggest issue encountered was with the Giant Squid Sea Monster. The creature wasn't exactly difficult, but 3 out the 4 attempts were never in my favor! Across 3 instances... 1) I managed to run out of ammo. 2) the fight lasted through nightfall where I could not see the creature. 3) a storm began the moment the Squid was spawned which made visibility worse than at night! None of the trophies gave me any issues and I could not report any bugs with the trophies. Although some trophies have been reported to be buggy. If you go for the Platinum, good luck!
